Depends. Ideally you'd like the 5 damage to hit the face. If that damage hits a minion with 1 or 2 HP, it's a waste. In that case explosive trap is much better. And let's not mention the trigger condition, which is arguably harder than the enemy summoning something or attacking your face.

I think it would be better in hybrid hunter where you can actually go a little bit for board control.

Is zoo in a good spot right now? I've recently built one and I'm thinking about clombing with it next month. What are it's worst matchups? From what I've tested Freeze mage is almost unwinnable, but the rest seems fine.

Hi, this is my Fatigue Spell crafter mage deck.

So at first I just made this as a joke but after a few modifications and an insane win streak (15-4) I decided to show you all. Anyhow so basically you don't necessarily kill them with fatigue damage but you basically run their cards thin enough by extreme removal and healing that they're cornered into how they play.

Loses to Wombo Combo.

The Spellslingers are really the only weak links as they give spells to your opponent but otherwise it can be pretty fucking hilarious being on 15 life and dropping a tournament medic, gaining 4 armor and 2 health and just laughing as your opponent tries to figure out how the fuck to burn through an 8 health minion or just fucking die. Why Mage? Well mage has the most spells that will get you out of a fucking mess without killing your own shit basically. Also it's hero power is actually relatively speaking to the rest of it's cards not that great. It seems good when you're playing mage because you have all these other cards but when you realise you can have 4 armor a turn and a fireball? Shit gets out of hand real quick.

Why aren't we running fireballs? Well simply enough we're not going for spell damage finishers. Fireballs are sometimes great for killing minions but for the most part 6+ health minions aren't being played currently.

Anyhow try it see if you like it- You're going to get fucking wrecked by RNG sometimes but overall its a super fun deck. Don't worry about getting Finley late btw, it's much harder early game to know what type of hero power you want, later on you can figure out the one you want.

Tournament Medic is the most underrated card in this meta. I'm not sure people realise how good it is. It's not inherently strong but it's one of the stickiest cards you can get. It's not a huge threat on the board but for your opponent to need to go through 8 damage before it dies it works very similar to a Doomsayer.

It either draws agro or it doesn't, and both cases are generally good for you.

That's a bit disingenuous. I've played for a year or so already completely f2p and I didn't even really play arena (only around 100 wins to date).

The trick is to study the game first so you know what the important commons are first (before it was deathrattle, now mech takes that role pretty well, just mech <class> since the good ones are mostly neutrals and commons), and get those cards first, DE'ing the other shit from packs you don't need until you have a deck you can reasonably complete dailies with for at least 3-4 classes.

After that it's just time. The problem is that everyone wants HS to be their main game, and they want everything and they want it NOW! In reality people shouldn't take it that seriously at all. Literally just play to complete your dailies, maybe even save them up and min/max them by re-rolling, and then close the fuck out of the game and do something else. You do THAT for a year, and tavern brawls, and you'll have a pretty decent collection of important commons and rares in just a couple of months. A year and you'll have competitive decks in every class. Stay in rank 18-20.

Just fucking play something else the majority of the time, it's easy. This game isn't that great in the first place, if you can tell by all of the complaining here. Certainly not worth spending any money on. If you REALLY, *MUST* HAVE a strategy card game as your main game to spend hours on every day, google "woogerworks cockatrice". Play magic the gathering on that, for absolutely free, and you get all of the cards to start with. You just need to know the rules of the game since it isn't automated, but otherwise you get the whole game for free and can play hundreds of people on their server. They even have drafts and shit.

Honestly even with so many cards I still mostly just play for dailies every couple of days, and rank 5 (already got legend). The game is best enjoyed in small doses. Any time you start "grinding" you'll just feel like shit and hate everyone and everything. Small doses are where it's "fun".

You will need naxx if you want to actually have fun with this game, and LoE came out with some really good cards that are too good to pass up (Brann, reno, entomb), Blackrock is basically first wing and done unless you need a specific card.

Antonidas isn't absolutely necessary in any mage deck except maybe mech mage which sees 0 play.
In freeze he's just a nice extra and in tempo ragnaros is arguably better anyway.
