I accidentally left my emunand on sleep mode with a new internet connection and it downloaded an update. Is there a way to delete the update files from the sd? Or is it safe to let it update? it's important in this case because we were talking about possibly doing a cartridge update. if he cartridge updates to 9.2.0, his browser wouldn't be updated and it might not be compatible with 9.x.x browserhax stuff. other payloads would probably still work, though (e.g. oot3dhax)

My friend has a original copy of mh4u but he lost his registered sets because he didn't back up the card. However, now, whenever he registers a set, saves and reboots the game, the set isn't registered. It also freezes sometimes when he tries to go to the Home Menu and he has to restart the 3ds. Is any of this normal? Could we have fucked up when setting up emunand or something?

It's still only one payload though, the saves just jump into it. If you install ironhax on another slot, both will only work on the last payload you installed.

Should I update my emunand to 10.4? If I did would I need to reinstall Oothax or would the 10.3 version work perfectly fine on 10.4? and is there a point in updating right now outside of being on the latest version? Yeah, CFW or 10.4neverever are really your only options for transfer, using HANS for it is a piece of shit and I'm actually not sure if that'll work if there's an NNID on the system because Nintendo totally disabled NNID shit in a way that HANS can't work around. You can transfer EmuNAND to EmuNAND though, that works fine (but I suggest removing internet from SysNAND if you do it).

I've been playing A Link Between Worlds and Paper Jam Bros, switching between the two when I get bored of one. It's a pretty good system so far. Paper Jam Bros is fucking great too. Best one in the Mario and Luigi series that I have played since Superstar Saga.

It just work on firmwares below 10.2 because 1. Nintendo blocked nvers less than 28 2. They changed some URLs.

The DS profile exploit was one of the first ways to run code on a 3DS and Gateway/everything used it to launch. You could install it from DS mode with a DS flashcart.

The original exploit used a kernel hack that was patched in 5.x, but the actual DS mode exploit wasn't patched until like 7.x.

Right now, there's DS profile exploits using the original kernel hack that only run on 4.x (official Gateway), there's 4.x DS profile exploits using the 9.x kernel hack (rxTools) and there's 6.x DS profile exploits using the 9.x kernel hack (also rxTools).

All of it is obsolete at this point. Menuhax is clearly superior and even Gateway has a thing for it now.
