Dunno about cheats, there is a damage cap mechanic carried over from console. I think it's just a bug on Capcom's end, we seemed to be fighting two separate Ur-Dragons at once for a while which was giving us back to back graces two generations at a time.

Then go buy the inclination elixirs at the Encampment. Buy like 16 of the primary you want and 15 of secondary. Whichever inclination you want second, use those elixirrs FIRST, and after that use elixirs for primary inclinations. So if you want util / challenger, use challenger elexirs first and then utilitarian.

Should stay at those for quite a while.

How do I git gud with ranged classes? I played Mystic Knight on PS3 and wrecked everything, but now I started a new game on PC and went ranged, playing like 40 level as ranger and 10 as assassin, but my knives and arrows feel really weak all the time even if I get new ones and upgrade them. My sorcerer pawn almost oneshots gorechimeras with Gicel and I feel like I'm barely doing damage with Fivefold Flurry or Hundred Kisses, what I am doing wrong? what knife and arrow skills should I get?

Also, it works that way because when you use an inclination elixir, it pushes other inclinations down the hidden list.
So you can get a tertriary inclination as well, although it won't be avalaible. Generally, a combination of utilitarian, challenger and mitigator is good for sorcs. I use utilitarian / challenger / mitigator personally and it works good, but you can switch utilitarian and challenger.

all the best "timing based block/dodge" systems are on Capcom action games, like DMC3 or God Hand or VJ. DD channels a tiny bit of that glory, though not as well

Souls sometimes feels like a bad Capcom action game, but in most places the animations really carry it. the parry animation though is totally boggling, you wave your hand and do something mystical and a giant falls flat on his ass. backstab basically makes you teleport into an animation because they couldn't figure out how to animate the flow

i love those games and have many 100s of hours in all of them but people's view of parry/BS is heavily rose-tinted and heavily influenced by the idea that Souls PvP is very competitive, somehow

Both have high hp and defense, my imperfect assassin at level 120 with a cursed bite and dire gouge does significant damage though, each use cycle to the head will take him down buy 1 bar if he doesn't flail around like an asshole.

Stage 2 I use daggers to get to the face via double jump and then wreck his chest face hoping he doesn't attempt to explode.

It's fucking broken and reason why Ranger is the best. Tenfold with blast+4xConq will make enemies, who normally barely take damage, just straight up die in seconds.

It was lackluster on the mainland, since it's abilities shine in close quarters. It just seems that BBI was made for MA.

Which is why I'm one. Going through and stacking tons of level 3's and upgrade materials to hand out to people. I can finish both of Daimon's forms in about 2 minutes. Not as fast as a strider/ranger with blast errors, but still pretty fast.

Changing vocation means that the stat gains you get when you level up change. Damage doesn't really mean shit when you level up as weapons > damage stats
The primary advantage of changing vocations is leveling up your vocations to get the passives that benefit you, or to increase health/stamina.

The only goal is to get the biggest strenght / magic number in your stats sheet.

I wish they used the time to develop BBI on actually improving the base game, you can tell there is so much missing, and how pretty much every kind of armor is useless because you dont care about strenght / magic defense and debilitations.

Its the one thing you notice when starting BBI, and to me it feels as if they wanted to compensate for this lack of coherence in the base game, except they have overdone it.

I'm still getting blinded / petrified all the time even with 50>% resists, and the pawns might as well not be there.

I had a very good time in the first 2 hours when I discovered BBI, then it quickly went downhill and I already know I'm not gonna bother with 2.0 any further after killing the drake in the garden of ignomity.

That said, I cant wait for a proper DD 2, with better balance around damage / defenses and, if god wills it, better pawn AI, because there is so much love put into this game.

I did this from 50 to 200. You'll end up with ~70 million gold.

If you're mage/sorc/MA, stand in or behind the tomb farthest from the chests (it has a bush next to it) and wait for them to pile up. Blast them all at once with Comestion.

If you're fighter/assassin, get Ascalon from Urdy and use full moon slash.

MK can enchant their weapons with holy/fire.

If you're ranger/strider just get the strongest bow you can and fivefold/tenfold flurry them down.

If you're playing warrior then I don't know why you care about playing this game efficiently in the first place.

Chasing Shadows is a quest where you sneak after someone, go talk to Mason to get it, then check with Fournival the next day. If that doesn't work just back up your save and advance through the storyline, checking with Fournival occasionally. Escort Duty shouldn't be lost until you get close to the end of the main quest.
