I've played casters in WoW, WAR, Aion, GW1+2, Skyforge, Rift as well as many others I probably won't remember right now.

BLM in Heavensward is THE most fun caster class I have ever played. Holy shit, it's so good. It's all about time management, optimizing at every turn, depending on the RNG of the encounter and acting upon it accordingly, you're trying to take shortcuts at every turn to squeeze out just one more fire4 or thunder3 proc without dropping your buffs.

It's about positioning, you need to know when it's safe to stand somewhere and when you can move, oftentimes even ahead of time because there's certain windows inside your rotation where it's less detrimental to move than during others. As a reward for playing well BLM gets some of the best single target dps in Heavensward as well as great aoe damage and awesome utility.

If FF14 wasn't filled to the brim with retards who only want to play content with guides (wtf is the point of that?) I'd still be hooked on that game, I don't remember having as much fun with a caster anywhere else, except maybe Dragon's Dogma where the sorcerer plays rather similar to BLM.

I had the Hongmoon Secret version of 4. Now, I'm not going to claim I wasn't as effective as other Warlock's but I did pretty well and had no issues on casting. It just wasn't nearly as fast native, obviously.

Not well. There's just not enough that allows you to be aware of everything that's happening. Then again, 200 and 250 ping could be a mountain of difference. There's no harming in trying either way. Playing Warlock isn't exactly rocket science, after all.

Surnames are being erased by mashing them together with given names (example: Bruce Wayne becomes Brucewayne, Do Chun becomes Dochun) I consider this kind of cultural erasure to be censorship and it's also retarded as fuck.
Localization Related
Memes have been added and in many cases it turns a situation meant to be taken seriously into a comical one. (side note: what's with social justice types adding memes into everything they write, translate or localize?)
Story being dumbed down. Removal of foreshadowing is resulting in a confusing/inferior experience.
Game lore is being altered or changed outright because they feel it doesn't make sense.
NPC personalities changed or randomly swapped around with other NPC's for no discernible reason.

i played WoW for over 5 years and reached around ~2200 in cataclysm, i have to admit going off my former experiences with korean mmo's i was expecting pvp to be quite easy in comparison, but it's really something else. There's so much emphasis on positioning, timing, combos, and reactions that is such a stark contrast to the WoW mentality of "watch all the buffs/debuffs/cooldowns and cycle buttons every 1-1.5 secs according to the situation". Also there's like no real way to just completely faceroll someone, if they dodges something important enough they can easily swing a fight that is 60/30 in your favour hp wise. It's extremely challenging overall, but very fun. I'm sure most of it will become natural as time goes on but from asian streamers, no amount of experience can stop you from the opponent facilitating a mistake on your side, it's kind of like real fighting.
