Don't be afraid of ruining your build. End game gear allows you to be very flexible.

My char is level 150 and built as such:
10 levels of Fighter
15 Levels of Strider
15 Levels of Warrior
55 Levels of Assassin
20 Levels of Sorceror
35 Levels of Mystic Knight

That sounds like a really wide spread, but he's fucking fine. With gear, I can play any of those classes (except maybe warrior) perfectly well, and I'm doing fine on my hard mode NG+ playthrough, and didn't struggle overmuch with BBI. Don't sweat your stats too much.

The lite version supposedly doesn't tank fps/loading times while also fixes the debanding issue this game has. It's not like your every-day ENB that has instagram filters out the ass instead it just enhances the vanilla experience. The screenshots suggest debanding is fixed and looking great. I can't right now since I'm at work.

I know that feel, ese. Been playing my alt for the past couple days. Outside of /ddg/ I haven't gotten any rents. Trying to get my blackwing bow, I've been killing Daimon, restocking my perries/curatives/shrooms from Olra, then running back through the shortcut. Haven't been to the mainland to rest, so all of the spawns in the final rooms have been exhausted. There are no enemies left between the shortcut and Daimon, except for the occasional visit from death or a cursed dragon.

Laying off the main for another day or so, so people can catch up. I wrote your name on my notepad for return rents. Much obliged. Let me know how he does, he hasn't been making much use out of his skill ring.

Depends. Usually at least 5 levels. In areas like BBI, you gain levels so fast, it's not uncommon for you to be rolling along, then suddenly realize the pawns you hired are 15 levels behind you.

Then, when you get to a certain point, you'll be steamrolling most things, so you can take lower level pawns to get them RC.

Hit the everfall first. You'll get tons of wakestones, and some gear that will help. You'll also get a taste of some BBI enemies. There are 2 pawn merchants that sell the equivalent of BBI level 1 weapons, so hit them up if you were a different vocation when you killed Grigori and can't use the weapons you got from him.

Dragon's maw on fighter does awesome damage and grants I-frames. Stand near a drakes heart and the fight is done.

Strider gets skullsplitter, upgraded to brainsplitter with a ring from BBI. With the right augments, it can be one of the highest DPS attacks in the game.

Mage is like getting fucked in the ass without lube or the common courtesy of a reach around.

I need some help. I'm trying to use focus bolt but it always fires a regular shot first before charging and sometimes it doesn't charge at all. Watching vids I see people always pulling off a charge. Is there some kind of trick to this?

And you can give the Silver Idol to the other shop keeper to get these:

from what i've gleaned from several discussion in these threads, it's that it doesn't matter too much unless you're super min maxing because gear can make up stat difference. Look up the stat growth per level on the wiki if you wanna make sure when you level up you're getting the stats you need, but you might as well mess with the vocations a bit till you find the most fun one for you. As far as anyone knows, no. Only mods that alter pawn stats (as those are uploaded), allow you to kill Ur-Dragon too fast (online again), or send lots of duplicate items (same). Basically if it touches online in a data way it can probably be seen.

So I think there's a bug in the game.

My medium weight class character hits AVERAGE weight at 25kg, while a light class can hold 30kg before hitting AVERAGE, and large weight class can hold 40kg before hitting that.

The increments go; Average 20 kg, 30 kg, 25 kg, 40 kg, 45 kg from SS to LL respectively.
It's the only stat that decreases from S to M (30 to 25) all other weight limits increase for each weight class.

I can't find anything on this, only people on some stupid GameFAQ forum not even responding the the bug at hand.

Does /ddg/ know of this bug? It's quite annoying being averagely encumbered all the time..
