It's a mere fact, though, that MH3U
-has ugly as fuck 3DS textures everywhere,
-has a huge button delay, especially in menus
-has a shitty framerate despite 3DS textures
-has stupid, forced GamePad features like checking out other people's gear in the town which you could do with your controller in MH3U, even when he was not in front of you
-has way too many awful marathon quests with monsters dying in one minute, so it's basically impossible to haev a challenging online run with people because they all want to do this shit
-way too many awful, lazy subspecies
-it raped free hunt
-there is no more night cycle
-hammer is shit in it because superpound was nerfed
-as an awful online with you getting kicked when the host leaves and no comfy lobby for 100 people when in Tri there were always people in the lobby talking the whole day, friend of mine even found his future wife in Tri (not shitting you)
-it fucked up Jhen's spine hitzones
MH3U is the overall better game, maybe, but MH3 is definitely better for newcomers and better in general in many ways.
Yes. Give your hunter colorful clothes and hair. It's 2016.
He will be beautiful.
>All these Wii U exclusive complaints
>has way too many awful marathon quests
Marathon quests were a godsend for farming and if you actually want a challenge you wouldn't be playing online in the first place.
>way too many awful, lazy subspecies
If anything, it was 3rd gen when they started trying to make subspecies more unique.
>-there is no more night cycle
>-hammer is shit
And that's why Grongigas was so notorious.
>-it fucked up Jhen's spine hitzones
They mix up hitzones every game. Nice cherry picking though, I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about Alatreon being different.
>MH3U is the overall better game
>MH3 is definitely... better in general
Make up your mind.
>Marathon quests were a godsend for farming and if you actually want a challenge you wouldn't be playing online in the first place.
That's where I stop reading. It's a multiplayer game. There are indeed challenging quests and with friends they're a lot more fun than palying online. See 140 quests, for example. In MH3U it's literally impossible to have a challenging run because everyone just wants to do marathon quests.
Glad Capcom learned this lesson and balanced them in MHX.
That you just want to "farm" monsters without even actually fighting them, says a lot about you. Literal cancer.
Newcomers to MHO daily reminder what region/server to hit up.
yeah, because there wouldn't be 3ds exclusive complaints if we would talk about the awful handheld version, like casio watch resolution, awful controls, no keyboard, no online.
Caveat: it can only do that when your rage meter fills up, which happens very slowly (faster if you take damage or execute iframe dodges (I think, the latter may be placebo)).
Way cooler is the weird spirit enhancement or something that you can get around level 30, which makes it so after you hit the monster a certain number of times you get a huge attack boost for thirty seconds, plus it makes your hand glow and flash red.
>no two art panel
>if you want to have only two arts equipped for guild style you just have wasted space on the bottom screen
>have to choose between not having the camera lock, my map, or the HP bar on the bottom screen
Holy shit this is driving me up the wall
>wanting more clutter on your top screen on a handheld while playing an action game instead of less
>one decoration slot short of my ideal armor skill build
God fucking dammit. How bad is Slow Sprinter for a switch axe user? I can't gem it out without losing either Weakness Exploit or Razor Sharp. Anybody more experienced in SA-ing mind lending advice for what's better? This is 4U.
Keep rations or better yet mega dash juices with you.
>Getting thrashed so much you need that information constantly up.
That or drop a valuable skill that'll require you to not only eat for stamina like normal but sharpen a whole lot more. Short sprinter isn't that big of a deal and you lose a ton of damage for fixing it.
Slow Sprinter isn't so bad, just craft a quick armor set with Speed Gather in it and do the 4 star quest "Poison Patrol"
assuming MH4Urepeatedly, making sure you always carve 3 times during the fake deaths. It's easy to do with minimal attention and you can get 200+ dash extract without too much trouble doing it so that your negative bonus is canceled out.
Post (one of your) favorite monster(s)
>It's a multiplayer game
No, it's a hunting game. They included 4 man hunting as a form of "party" game similar to Mario Party. It's not supposed to be difficult with 4 people, and I can confirm it definitely is not.
There's a reason gathering hall quests are balanced for 2 players, and not 4.
Guild quests are not gathering quests and were likely designed for this specific reason alone; to have challenging 4 man hunts. Sadly, with the introduction of mounting (and aerial in MHX), these supposedly challenging quests aren't even as challenging as could be because monsters tend to just get ko/status locked even more frequently thanks to the toppling mechanic.
>Used to see Tigrex as a horrifying but cool monster
>Now I see it as an adorable beastie that whistles in its sleep
Has the internet ruined the monster for me?
I''m a LR shitter, and trying to cut a Zamtrios' tail blade off. Do I aim at literally only the yellow part? And do they have to be cuts across the tail? Width-wise? Or can I deal damage to the tail length-wise too?
First time user of IG in mhx, what the fuck am I meant to upgrade for my weapon? What should I be feeding my kinsect bro? Is element worth it? I was maybe thinking bushido style or aerial, what are the major changes?
Nevermind, apparently I'm an idiot and breaking the ice on the tail counts at cutting the tail. I was expecting it to fall off and be its own carve. >>129181910
Thanks. How many monsters don't have a dedicated tail cut that I carve, like gore megalla? And believe me I feel pretty silly.
what weapon are you using? zam tails are really easy to break, but they dont fly off or anything, they just get a chunk taken out of them. easiest way to break it is wait until it inflates and does the ice fountain move, just hit it with whatever at that time.
I'm using IG but I'm almost embarrassed to say it. I've been trying to branch out into LS, Bow, and maybe hammer. But if I'm honest I mostly have only played the 2 new weapons in mh4u.
the fuck? what's the secret to breaking tama's claws? I focused on L3 charge slashing the claws the entire time, landed a dragon beheading L2 on one and bombed the same one when it went to sleep and neither of them broke.
All of these can have their tails cut. Everything else can either only be broken or not broken at all. The rule of thumb seems to be that all Flying Wyverns, Leviathans, Brute Wyverns, Fanged Wyverns and 6-limbed elder dragons can have their tails cut, with a few exceptions.
>play MH3U on WiiU
>text barely visible when talking to NPCs
>well there must be an option to fix this
Please tell me there is a way to fix this, please don't tell me it's that much of a piece of shit port.
I can be a nice person when it's about things that aren't readily available and can be the equivalent of driving a rusty pole through your groin in terms of gameplay when trying to find it out. I remember trying to cut Gypceros or Kut-Ku tails for hours on end only to later find out it's not possible, or trying to "sever" Kut-Ku's ears to carve them, 5 hours of grinding Kut-Ku to find out that's not how break mechanics work.
Effect extender is still possible but it's 90 seconds instead of 120, and you don't get the stat bonuses off the buffs after their initial duration. (So you'll probably be missing out on 10 raw and 10 affinity for ~30-60 seconds)
Most people go with the speed bug, since it gets 30% affinity bonus on white.
>check amazon and ebay for regular 3DS circle pad pros
>only have XL circle pad pros in stock
>unlock 20 unique mushroom delivery HR quest in the village in MHX
>go in as a cat
>I'm not prepared
>deliver the shrooms and restart as a hunter
>Jho is replaced by a Narga
And I was so hyped.
I'm not gonna use it often. Only when I think it would be relevant, or when I think you need someone that has gone on record as being for, and against you to say something. Trips are distracting, yes, but they can serve a purpose. Those will essentially be what this trip's purpose is. And if I'm being honest, for the novelty, I've never used one before.
On that topic, what, for you, is the benefit of your trip? I've seen screencaps of you saying it was for continuity, and then because it pisses people off, if you give me that advice, what now, is the purpose of yours?
This goes back about three nights, I both talked a bunch of shit at doj, and then said something that he responded to kindly. Its a lame in joke.
Anyone feel like translating the equipment and skills?
OHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYY FUUCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGAWWWWWDDD
WHAT IS IT WITH THE GOOKS AND THEIR BARELY PLAYABLE SHIT PORTS FUCK THEM SO MUCH FUCKING NIGGERS
Well... Are they spaced out? How many are key quests? Is it fun enough to bother despite these horrific gathering quests? I never made it to G rank in MH4U so I don't yet have no new content. I could just stick with that.....
>SA's Energy Charge Art can keep Demon Sword Mode practically activated at all times.
Okay what are good combos to use for this thing in Striker Mode? I was just kinda flailing about with it.
I actually knew right off the bat there was going to be a strong invasion monster in that quest and went in as a hunter instead of nyanta, then promptly crafted my Jho Longsword afterwards.
>What, for you, is the benefit of your trip?
I initially started using a trip on /r9k/ because I always noticed how angry people would get at them, and considering I absolutely resent everyone on /r9k/, I felt like it was a good enough reason to try it out myself.
Then I noticed how quick everyone was to filter me with no reason for it, and I promptly noticed how my general quality of conversations on /r9k/ improved substantially. If I didn't seen a reason to drop it after this.
I also have a God complex and feel it's justified to differentiate myself from the rest of /r9k/, as I don't want to be saddled up with the pathetic excuses of human beings there.
Almost every rank, both village and gathering hall, have 5-6 pages of quests, with 2/5th of them gathering or slaying quests.
What kind of resolution does your TV have? I remember playing Playstation 2 games on an 800x480 screen which also made text completely unreadable. The problem was fixed
>What did they change weapon balance wise?
All weapons are balanced fairly equally thanks to there being one or another hunter style that combines perfectly with them.
Switchaxe is considered top tier by minmaxers now.
You really think anyone in this thread can read moonrunes? 90% of 4Chan can't read moonrunes
Switchaxe is good and Longsword is too. Charge Blade became pure unadulterated ass.
Is that for Sword or Axe Mode? Or Both?
You've gotta be fucking kidding me. That's the most bullshit way to inflate content I've ever heard of. But again, should I bother playing it? Legitimately or otherwise beside the point, is the rest of it
I also think
it's just hilarious how people make such a big deal over something as inferior and unimportant as using a trip, while there's so many more things to wory about in this world. I blame that on my God complex. I just can't comprehend the mindset of caring about pointless things like that.
I think it's fun. I felt like all the gathering quests were a great way to comfortably test drive Nyantas.
Up until High Rank, there it started getting old, but the habit of 40% gathering/slaying quests only persisted through the first rank in HR.
You also end up never having to worry about things like bugs and ores again, either, so thats a plus.
White Gale Narga gunner Cap with Blademaster Gauntlets, Waistpiece and Leggings, Furious Rajang chestpiece.
Skills are Razor Sharp, Evade Distance and White Gale from top to bottom.
I just explained why.
You can try it.
I don't care what the others say about you, you aight.
>implying frontier didn't save it 3 years ago
>tfw got tickets saved for the three Gunlance skills, two sets of tier 1 talent coins and going to run around with Razor Sharp and Speed Sharpening
Not dropping Duals, but finally I'll be able to resume my Gunlancing
As opposed to Japanese cash grab?
Is the jump slash the only move sns can do out of a bushido evade? This style would be much better if I didn't have to do jump attacks and mount or if the backhop had the same ridiculous i-frames the roll does.
Huh, I was expecting you to call me reddit and play the game. Anyways, I agree completely. I can make it work on some monsters that I know well and utilize the backhop evade but otherwise it's not so hot and I don't like those jump attacks. Also sns really benefits from the regular roll anyways because dodging at any point is easy and it keeps you right near the spot you were attacking so unless the bushido attacks get buffed motion values I don't see it really being that helpful.
>Huh, I was expecting you to call me reddit and play the game.
There's no excuse for giving an aerial attack to the bushido style when there's a fucking aerial style already. I'm quite angry at whoever designed this, since SnS is my favorite weapon, and I was looking forward to using it with bushido.
Okay, I will go to my doctor now and tell him this guy on the internet told me I'm mentally disabled.
Well for once we agree on something. SnS has been my main weapon since the PS2 days and I have no idea why they decided jumping attacks would fit the weapon better than a dashing slice.
This new weapon upgrading is throwing me in a loop. Are there not big weapon upgrading trees anymore? Where do I look to see what my weapons will upgrade into?
I like that they tried something different but until I get more experience with it I can't say which one I prefer just yet
I always thought bouncing off a hard monster part or powering through it with Mind's Eye didn't effect the damage of the attack or the sharpness lost. They both take a significant hit to their sharpness, and since the part is hard it must have some decent damage reduction on it anyway.
No, there's no damage penalty, but the hitzones that bounce do it for a reason (that is, they deal next to no damage). The only bad part about hitting bounce zones is increased sharpness decrease.
>fighting Gendrome, aerial GS
>it's about to die
>random Genprey pounces at me
>jump off of it, throwing it to the ground and leaping forward
>land level 3 charge on gendrome's head
>it does that launchback animation instead of flinching normally
>as soon as I land, activate Ground Collider art
>put GS edge on ground, run towards Gendrome, and give it the uppercut from hell
>kills it and another random Genprey
Then what's the big no-no for using blunt skill with a yellow sharpness weapon? You only lose 5% of the raw power and most likely you'll gain that back with the attack boost.
Rate frequent players from /mhg/ so as to make a power rankings and let people know how good you are, "Yeah I'm about as good/bad as X" or whatever.
9 through 1: Currently unassigned.
You'll deal 60%-70% if you hit at the wrong timing of the attack animation or the wrong spot of the weapon. It can happen even on weakspots.
However, if you insist on using blunt with yelllow-sharp weapon, there's only one weapon that works with it.
It's true. I also did level 8 Tetsucabra solo, but I didn't take a picture of that. Level 8 Tetsu didn't feel that hard anyway, though, since Rock Piercer Tetsucabra isn't relentless when it comes to chasing you around, has a lot less bouncing than Crimzon Arzuros, and Gamuto is far less of a danger than a Zinogre who doesn't even get exhausted thanks to his charge mode.
I just now this morning did level 10 Spearbreaker Daimyo which I couldn't pull off well enough, so I crafted the final Teostra Longsword to replace my iron longsword. It did the trick thanks to the increased sharpness allowing for actually hitting Daimyo's easily accessible legs after Rajang spawns. It took me 15 minutes after Rajang joined in for me to kill Daimyo. Rajang was easy after this. I'm probably going to make the EX Brachydios set now, handicraft + bombardier for my Teostra Longsword seems pretty neat, and the set looks great.
I love Cross!
But does this guy's (>>129192552) "low sharpness modifier" exist? I've never found a good source for that. Because if it does, it will automatically make all yellow sharpness weapons useless.
Sounds like an improvement.
4 made it fearsome again with those bullshit feints, though.
It adds up over time with fast hitting weapons. Plus yellow bounces on a lot of shit which slows you down, and it will happen a lot.
That's cool, I haven't even really attempted variant monsters yet. I have around 6 village quests left and then all the non keys in 3 star guild before I move onto high rank. Are variant monsters more fun to fight than 140 monsters?
YES! Wasting hours to bring my hunfu into my house worth it.
I haven't hunted many 140s solo, but they definitely do have a lot more identity and gimmicks that sets them apart a lot from regular monsters and their 140 GQ counterparts.
They do still hit like trucks, though. All of them have one or more attacks that near instakill you, but they're usually their newly added attacks.
Heavy Snow Lord Lagombi is the only thing I can safely say is not fun to fight unless you have negate Mud/Snow.
>It adds up over time with fast hitting weapons.
It does not. If you do 2% less damage with yellow sharpness than green sharpness, you will always do 2% less damage regardless on how many times you hit the monster.
>Plus yellow bounces on a lot of shit which slows you down, and it will happen a lot.
Of course you would have to use Mind's Eye.
>Gold Zinogre's damage at LV9+
Almost never fails to send me into a panic.
>Of course you would have to use Mind's Eye
Well there you go. You're wasting skill points when you don't need to.
Also I'm 95% sure X still has the LSM for yellow and lower so yellow is just not worth it.
Don't give up, that armor is waiting for you!
Kiranico says it's possible to get then in the Peaks though
He has two charge modes, super and hyper? One-Eyed Garuga, Golden Prince Zinogre and Black Flame King Rathalos are the only variants I haven't hunted yet.
I know you were, have you done that quest though? Crimson Arzuros 8 in particular is very difficult due to a combination of things I (mostly) explained in the post you replied to. To top that off, it doesn't seem like monsters can harm each other on the tower, because I once spent 50 minutes desperately trying to kill just the Zinogre with a 160 raw green sharpness weapon and Crimson Arzuros never even got enraged from Zinogre hitting it nonstop.
I am indeed proud of it.
Super is its default. The only difference is the fur being folded to its body and the dim electrical glow.
Hyper is beyond Supercharge. The fur will stand up and the electrical glow will intensify. It becomes slower but hits harder. Do beware that if you don't knock it out fast, it'll release an electrical burst and revert back to Super.
You should get Ping's MHX Dex. It's a lot more detailed.
>a teostrified super Zinogre
I love it.
AND THIS IS TO GO EVEN FURTHER BEYOND
>Unable to solo higher lvl Snow Lord Lagombi because of snowman into charge/fuckhuge snowball killer combo
If you intend to solo this guy, good luck. I gave in and played with randoms to finish it
Just got to rank 3 on MHX and I wanna start ''''''min maxing'''' if I can at this stage.
Only thing is , after reading the OP guides and so on i'm more confused than ever.
>Which story mode monster should I grind to get decent Armour for online?
>Which decorations should I get asap?
Why is great sword the best
Sorry for the scrub questions , i've played all the other games but always stopped after the story mode because lack of online
>Land an AED on Tamamitsune
>Sticky blasts stagger it in mid-air, causing it to fall from its acrobatics
>In X, ターグット: Gathering フィールド採集 (page 1, middle right)
Why is this still in the OP?
HC Rathian has a glitch that when it's tail is severed, it cannot do the swoop dive tail spin. The animation will just be cut when diving near the ground and weirdly replace with the taunting animation.
Because Royal Ferns, thats why
I just went from 1-40 in 2 weeks(its 100% 2 weeks minimum, it has xp caps until 40)
Then you hit HR which has NO XP cap and access to the HR hunts finally.
basically its 2 weeks of Beavers/Gryphons/Shoguns sadly
Then HR hits and its pretty much just MH.
I have yet to run out of hunting tickets(daily hunting limit, you can buy 6 a day, get them from drops doing casual normal hunts in red bags, you get 10 free a day, and 20 free a week and 30 in total)
I havent gotten to 0 at all.
>tama decides to do its sweeping beam exactly when I start to charge at it with my lance
>manage to hop right over the beam and continue charging
also, on a different tama
>counter the first hit of its tail flipping combo
>triggers the strong lance counter, dies in midair and falls to the ground
They must've improved the kill cams or something lately.
I've been manually screenshotting and cropping the image.
With Blunt adding like 20+ points of raw damage for simply being at green sharpness, why are there still people here saying that only innately white sharpness weapons are good for end-game MHX?
I actually put him on hold until I've made Mud/Snow negate armor. I got to level 6 before getting tired of his snowman shenanigans.
But I don't care about minmaxing my odds against the variants.
I have 10 pages with all but one village quest and everything from HR1 to 6 completed along with 3 Variant questlines, while HR ~78
>Soaring Heaven Splitter
Is this move useful or viable in any way? I love it so much, but it never feels like it doesn't anything significant.
I've always loved Shen armour. It's too bad the (I think it was the high rank version) red armor outclassed the black armor. The red one just looked weird.
>weird spirit enhancement
That's called Weapon Awakening and is a zeny sink. It has a set number of charges and when they run out you need to recharge the weapon by paying about 25k on final weapon upgrades.
How the fuck isn't there an english patch for MHO yet?
Is the game really that shit?
So, in order to unlock R armor I need to complete Little Miss Forge's quest chain, right?
None of my current requests have Client: Little Miss Forge and I've definitely exhausted all her dialog and got a request or two from her. Does anyone remember which specific request she starts off with so I can get started on this chain?
Plesioth was first, kinda. But MHO does have Frontier-style huge airships hinting for more siege style fights.
Probably. Here's the google translated description:
>Mezeporta region into the walled crab migration season, outside the city's defense was a huge test
>This invasion Walled huge crab's body more than ever before, Mei could face N times been destroyed, the citizens
>Into a panic, we have to prepare to escape or find a safe area to avoid the disaster
>Hunter Guild also due to panic the public into a hectic, being not empty answer your questions about the city defenses
Also it looks like the stage will be like some ancient mayan ruins, which fits the city theme.
Also picture of airship I was talking about.
Oh boy, I can't wait for that airship to crash and burn like all the others!
And what do you know, there are bigger versions of this pic out there
Don't like the open crotch. Just have good taste is all. This is how you do slutty kimono
>mfw fighting in Area 9 of the Ancient Forest with that curtain made of grass cutting the area in half and completely destroying visibility
Whoever designed that part of the map needs to be fucking shot. Whenever some monster runs to an opposite part of the map, I can't see what they're about to do. It's especially annoying when fighting monsters like Tigrex or Nargacuga on that part of the map, because they zip around the map like crazy.
>insignificant because it's a variant of a 3 star boss monster
I've played this game enough to know that Crimson Arzuros is one of the hardest variants to fight
with a green sharpness weapon
>get stuck on G2
>don't want to go online and cheese it
>stop playing for a few months
>decide to come back
>steamroll through everything I had trouble with
>farm Teo, finally get my sheath control, focus, crit draw, S+1 armor
>can't stop playing the game again
What is it about this game that makes it so infinitely playable?
If you played the japanese version, yeah. But you can play the Taiwanese(actually chinese) version instead without doing anything major outside of maybe making a throwaway chinese e-mail account.
There's a guide in the pastebin too.
>want to fight all the variants
>after Arzuros, Lagombi and Hermitaur, it's Rathian's turn
>a poison spewing Rathian shouldn't be too bad, i guess
And that's how i learned why she's specifically called "Toxic" Rathian.
>Not respecting your master for wearing the skin of your kin
Monsters these days are such bitches.
My first time hunting her was actually me just running around for a total of 25 minutes waaay out of her reach, with the other 25 minutes actually getting hits in. She's absolutely terrifying.
No idea, I don't play bow, I was just giving you the method I always use to learn new weapons. Make the best armor and bow you can with whatever parts you have then play solely with bow as you work on upgrading that shit.
why can't we ever have a general free of tripfagging
can someone point me to a /vg/ general where there are absolutely no tripfags? I don't even care what game I just want to be away from this cancer
Potentially you may want to avoid evade+ and evade distance skills, though that didn't stop me from fashion hunting Tamamitsune armor with bushido as my main playstyle.
Just avoid Lagombi, Nargacuga and Tamamitsune armor and you're set.
Not that hard, I tend to have a main weapon in every game I've played. Hammer in 3U, SnS in 4U and now Longsword in Cross for example. I definitely will not be able to play Longsword again in 4U, I think.
>why would I want to get back into 4U?
To play Relic Hunter For You.
So far every mixed set in Cross looks like literal ass, Relics were a great idea but Guild Quests need a revamp.
This Anon gets it. I love my dual 140 Velocidrome guild quest. I've grinded it to 140 solo and everything, and made me appreciated the challenge of the random speed changes in frenzy virus monsters. Those birdies hit pretty hard.
I was going to grind any other random monsters to 140 the moment I grow tired of Cross, but that'll take a while I think. Even though 4U is my least favorite MH, it does have by far the most replay value, which still makes it a worthwhile game.
doj's posts are always shit
anon's posts are usually good
at this point no matter the subject matter, doj will always appear to be shit posting to us
you're a fucking faggot
see? i didnt even read his post
Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending any tripfag in particular. If you don't like him, you should probably thank him for giving you an easy way to filter him.
If you ever go outside /mhg/ though I fail to see how he represents all or almost any tripfags. No, this one is a special snowflake indeed.
140 Veloci is actually easy because only bites and jumps can damage you.
140 B.Kut-ku is a bitch because of wind press chip damage and Konchu ballet everywhere.
Stop ridiculing yourself.
I think I agree. 4U's replay value is pretty strong, and I can have a lot of fun with the game as long as I'm not subjecting myself to the same dual hunt for hours on end. I have a lot of fun with a ton of hunts, even Yian Garuga
I don't think that's the point? I'm the Blue Yian Kut-Ku dude and I just hunt it because it's fun as heck and Konchu Bowling is the greatest sport of our time
now lets say a trip wasnt retarded and was actually a well liked poster on this or any board
then we get into this whole special snowflake thing
if you look at /fgg/ everyone in there is always talking about some tripfag even if theyre not around instead of actually discussing anything of value
lets be honest all of /vg/ is complete shit and this thread aside from the few trips is no exception.
yeah but at some point where does it end ? for all we know at somepoint everyone will need a trip to even get a precious (You) due to some shift in "board culture"
having 90% anonymous posters is what makes 4chan refreshing from other forums. its not 100% but whatever
>>129219160 said it. It's not even about it being hard or not. If anything, the near instakill jumps and chargebites are artificial difficulty. I just like how frenzied 140 Dromes attack so lightning fast, the hunt itself requires full concentration to pull off well, because even a single loss of concentration tends to mean being combod to death by it. It's not particularly hard because you can hit any part of its body at all and it still dies in 10 minutes when performing subpar.
>turn on Anonimizer
>the website is now 100% anonymous posters
If everyone did this, then noone would even know a difference.
>at some point
I would point out the past (before, dare I say it, reddit). I've been here since 2006 before whining about tripcodes was really a thing. Could not help but notice that mostly came later after 7chan invaded and "cancer" even became a meme. The collectivist nonsense, it really did come later, so even if I do post anonymously I'll never stop associating the attitude you must do so, with cancer.
>the hunt itself requires full concentration to pull off well
This is what I'm against in your argument, infected Veloci is fast and hits hard but it shouldn´t even push you more than a Tetsucabra with his quick turns, you must be really shit if you need to pay special attention to it.
It must be difficult to even imply it's artificially expanded.
>ITS ONLY HARD CAUSE THE GAME DID SOMETHING I THINK IS UNFAIR
They do, but that's their choice. My replay value in 4U comes from hunting whatever I want to hunt, and the variety in monsters in 4U really lends itself to that. I can hunt Shagaru Magala, Chaotic Gore, Blue Yian Kut-Ku, Yian Garuga, Chameleos and Kushala Daora for way too many hours. I can even hunt Rajang for quite a while, but I refuse to hunt him exclusively for his rewards. These cases are just the Guild Quest monsters, too. There are more monsters I can have a ton of fun hunting, but they do not receive guild quests because Capcom thought that was a good idea or something
Giving something more damage doesn't actually make something more difficult. You still fight it the exact same way, other than that there's less room for error.
It's brutality, not difficulty.
Not that anon, but beyond 128 every monster just increases damage and health?
At that level every monster is apex, frenzied or receives their last upgrade like teo covering himself in fire and shaggy getting max mine spam?
you could just not get hit in the first place than the room for error never changes
you have this fucking buzzword stuck to the tip of your tongue like it means something when in reality (You) the special little snowflake has an opinion, a very stupid one.
No, at 136 those who can go Apex receive that. I'm not sure about other monsters, as I've said I haven't done many guild quests. The last thing I was doing in 4U was crown hunting before Cross was released.
136 may also be the level for Gore to turn into Chaotic Gore.
But Anon, even the most seasoned of hunters get hit once in a while, especially when fighting a sonic speed Frenzied Velocidrome.
>won't boost a brother up
>calls others antisocial
gimme ya name pls
>buy the wrong grip
>fits kinda floppily on my o3DS
>L & R button covered by material
>audiojack hole in the wrong spot
>whole case moving around a little
>stupid top piece
this actually feels really nice now
Uragaan is actually pretty cool. I'd take him over gravios any day. He's only a pain to fight in a 4 man group since there's not a lot of space to share and he rolls around a lot more chasing people who stay back. Also in X breaking his chin with rising dragon made my dragon rise, if you catch my tokyo drift.
His design is great, but he's an ass to fight even solo, as he loves to spend the majority of the fight still rolling about if you make the mistake of getting a bit too far away from him for whatever reason. It's incredibly irritating.
