Anyone know any reason why all the gifts I send people would turn into rocks?

Please kill me. Why is my warrior pawn doing this? She kept doing it in the middle of the fight. She's fine with ogres. Why does she run to me or away from the cyclops constantly? If its your first time playing I would say skip hardmode. As an experienced player I like that enemies that I could kill blindfolded can kill you when you fuck up but its a bit excessive early on. If youre up for getting 1 shot early on and can tough it out stick with it, it gets balanced out around 25-30.

An alternative would be to switch to hard mode after you beat the game right before you go to BBI for maxium endgame difficulty if youre not up for hard to start off.

Just tested it out, same thing happened to me. I can rent my alt pawn just fine, but any RC or items sent back to my alt account is lost and they get a rock. Meanwhile, my alt accout rented my main pawn, and the RC and items went through fine.

hard mode is initially badly tuned, everything will 1 shot you. somewhere around gran soren you will "break out" of the hole and it will be better but 1 shots are always a thing

IMO it's not worth it if you want a "fun challenge" because the fun challenge in the BBI endgame dungeon is 10,000x better, THAT is a well-tuned endgame on any difficulty setting. i only do hard mode when i want to level a character fast or get the special rewards

Elly has big eyes that are very flat at the bottom. I haven't found an eye set that matches it very well. All of the mouths in the character creator are very thick and pronounced, too, which doesn't fit very well.

You're probably right about the face and brows, though. I was using face 3 and brows 21-or-so up until now.

I'm still not sure how exactly damage works when using a split damage ( phys / mag ) weapon like the Almace compared to a full physical like DD.

MA gear falls into yellow, so switch to a yellow vocation like ranger or strider before purification so you don't get sorc or mage gear.

So my pawn was rented once and came back with Scrag of Meat and 190k riftbucks. Are there people injecting RC into the game via external programs or something?

Also, has anyone actually successfully taught their pawn how to Leaping Stone into Skull Splitter? Jumping attacks and movement + skills she learns without a hitch (started jump + heavy attack on weakspots as Warrior after 1-2hrs of play, same with Burst Strike on Saurian tails as Fighter). Been at it for ~5h straight (that is, grinding mobs using only that combo) and she's done the combo once, by mistake it looked like. Most of the time she'll just use Leaping Stone and do fuck all before falling down.

She climbs bosses like a fucking pro though, solo'd a Chimera for me as I was taking care of Saurian adds.

split damage works like souls in that the enemy gets 2 defense checks. however, it is a lot better than in souls because DD uses base stats rather than scaling stats. so your MATK is "not doing enough work" unless you have a magic damage weapon, in which case your base MATK helps to compensate the second defense check

it really depends. at level 200 both "pure physical balls to the walls" with pure physical weapons, and maximized split damage with magic weapons, are standard high-power pawn builds. my guess is that for an MK almace will outperform because you have a higher MATK. but it depends a LOT on the enemy resistances, and at your point in the game (BBI) enemies have extremely diverse resistances. it's actually normal to carry 2 weapons in BBI

From what some anon posted a pure physical damage will do more damage overall if you have a mage to cast enchantment because it gets the full bonus damage.

If the weapon is already enchanted then it gets only half of the enchantment mag bonus.

Still if your mag is better than your strength, you're probably better off using a split damage weapon. If you're more into strength, get the strength weapon and enchant it, you'll have great physical damage and pretty good great cannon damage. Don't use it without enchantments though.

I'm pretty sure normal attacks hit with both phys and magic on permanent enchantment weapons, which scale based on your str and magic attack stat.
Also, having higher magic is good for your spells that use the sword.

I was sent out about 10 cursed BBI items to different players over the course of about half an hour. The server flags you if you have that much activity and makes any items you send turn into rocks and any RC you earned their arisen become 0. Takes about 24 hours or so to lift.

Seriously need some help with my pawn.

She's a ranger, uses melee way too often. While not refusing to use her bow (uses it on harpies and other creatures she can't hit otherwise), she relies on daggers way too much.

She's utilitarian/challenger, also tried as challenger/mitigator, nothing changed. Any idea about what would fix her behavior? Can't buy reset elixirs yet.
