>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

I swear to god I better be able to one shot large monsters with this
Also, what's the alternative if I don't want a mage pawn in my party
Weapon enchantments are retarded strong
A little script that improves even more the controls on PC
Control+Alt+F will enable borderless fullscreen for 1920x1080 screens
F5 will save your game
M will open your map
C will open your equipment
J will open your quest log
Clicking the middle mouse button will send an F key press. Useful for archers.
I hereby claim this thread for Caxton
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG
First for mage pawns that start casting in the middle of two cyclos!
Thank god i saw her doing it and jumped to carry her away.
Not getting any hires
0 RC and stones
I had hopes for a restart but apparently not even that
level 30 or I would hire yours assuming he's big and manly
I can't find the one in the Shadowfort and I know what they're for so I never would've sold one. Yet looking at a playthrough of the Shadowfort (https://youtu.be/wjlCABuz-Nw?t=893 linked exact time) it doesn't show him getting a Portcrystal either.
Is this the correct jail sell for the portcrystal? Or is there another set of jail cells in the Shadowfort?
>Tfw not a Paedo, made a young looking pawn elf ranger girl (not a "loli") because I liked the idea of being a powerful knight protecting a young arrogant elf princess
>Tfw like her completely Platonically, she isn't "hot" or paedobait, she's just cute
>Get lumped in with lolicons
Any confirmation on whether or not this has been fixed?
Cute but 'generic', likely because everyone uses that hairstyle. I use it on my Arisen too.
Good job on the outfit though, I hate how every Mage/Sorcerer dresses the same.
damn your orc looks pretty similar to mine
orc husbando masterace
In the courtyard, there is the ruined building on the left side (your back to the gate you opened for the soldiers). Go up the ladder (the door is barred from the inside), and go into the doorway. There will be a hallway with jail cells, the same area that you had to go to to find the broken lever so you could open the main gate for the soldiers. The portcrystal is in one of those cells.
A. What they said.
B. The lantern light from the pawns is terrible.
Probably best to just assume everything is the same as it was before. But now you may be able to report problems and get them fixed.
Here's my predicament:
>Haven't gotten the guard duty quest
>Stuck at the point where fournival is judged the next time I enter the town square (as long as I avoid it I can continue to gather evidence)
>only missing pro-fournival evidence is the stuff you buy off Reynard
>can't fucking find Reynard
Is sorc no good? Serious question. I don't need a support pawn, just a magic damage dealer. My party is usually set up as Assassin, Sorc, Mage (support/healing) and a melee (usually fighter).
Pawn or Arisen?
I'd totally hire more orc pawns for my party, though him looking a lot like Ghorzoth is a little unnerving.
Is there a glitch to cause this?
Looking forward to being able to afford plate armor and shit.
For people who still have issues with pawn rentals, try setting pawn rentals to "no one," hard save at an inn, then turn it to "everyone" and hard save again.
Pawn rentals started working for me yesterday, but only after I did that(and as far as I know I've only been getting recent pawn rentals and not older ones back).
Also, does hard mode factor in on damage received from Ur-Dragon?
Ran into it without being prepared at all and it didn't seem that awful other than it killing pawns a lot. And I don't think I hit the 10 minute limit on it, either.
Posting this one last time because I posted it JUST as the last two threads were dying
I can't decide between making a ranger that is mitigator/challenger or the other way around. I want her to be a support inclined pawn, but I'm still not sure...
Also, I'm trying out strider (Started as fighter) for the augments and I like it and was thinking that I'd like to be able to switch to and from ranger/warrior. Is this viable, or will it rape my stats?
I don't even care if people are lolicons, I just don't want people to assume I'm one just because my pawn is a young girl. And she IS young, not just young looking, she's just not fucking toddler mode.
What the fuck is up with this room in BBI that has 2 chained giants, wizards that channel nukes, 3 fucking huge wolfs and harpies? I don't know how I'm supposed to get through this place
>goblin and loli
>not mentioning Ghorzoth, a massive Orc
>fuggg guess I need to level up so I can hire men and not all these traps/lolis
Shes not a man.
>tfw only 2 hires on my goblin pawn sorc
Think I'm gonna art of metamorphosis her taller so she just looks like an orc. I get the feeling people see they height and immediately skip over it because they think it's another generic loli.
The golden idol is a dumb piece of game design right?
If you miss it, it's gone, you deal with subpar equipment for a while, and by the time you're on ng+ you don't even need it because you'll have better gear from BBI and the everfall
anyone got a spare wyrm tear? (the purple one)
can't be fucked trecking to and through water god's altar
i can give you a heaven's key or volant white
or any of the other tears
>best augment coming through
That place is some horse shit. Drake doing all sorts of physical damage, Wyrm doing all sorts of magical rape. Pawns being yelled to death all day.
Very close to Eliminator Fallen City levels of anal blasting.
Looking for some people to test my pawn.
Skills aren't final, and its about to become a warrior for a while, but pic related will be whats up for hire.
Just want to know if its potato or if it actually does what its supposed to. I've been levelling as the same vocation all the way up, so it SHOULD climb things and such.
Also, what the fuck clothing matches with the Abyssinal stuff? I cannot find any leg clothing to go with it at all without looking hodge podge as fuck.
>fixes corrupted pawn server
>suddenly no hires
>drops 30k ranks
I hardly care about her, more interested in the brown french knightess.
post some webms. the lighting in caves looks real good with the lantern out. some spoopy shit
>Just beat the direwyvern and 2 living armors at once
>Death fucking arrives
>Puts my pawns to sleep
>Manage to do enough damage to him to drive him off, just before he scythed all of them
>bothering to charge
Just jump and light attack the ogre's head.
In three-four hits it will fall over. Then smash it.
Everyone says warriors are shit, but holy fuck if you play a warrior correctly, you're pure on GATTSU mode
Haven't found anything better yet.
>when some fag rates your pawn one star in all three categories
sword and board is totally viable. does great damage plus you get a block, overall very fun.
you can even go sword and board assassin and switch it up with a bow once in a while. it's a lot of fun and versatile.
I got 0RC and a rock the first time my pawn returned, too.
But everyone after has been getting 6-26k RC a piece(and it seems I'm getting 1 rental every 3-5 hours or so).
And I've been using the no stamina run mod for a while now
Early game I would suggest Legion's Might but she seems like a fine enough pawn. Most people will suggest Holy over Lightning but I personally have more problems dealing with Ogres and Cyclops than I do with... well... anything weak to fire.
Sword and Board is fantastic.
What's up with the gear at the Black cat? It's relatively shitty compared to everything else I have at lvl 40 (no I'm not using the DLC stuff). Does it get bigger boosts when upgraded or something? The items look cool as fuck and I really want to use them, but the numbers just don't add up.
>tfw your pawn looks like shit and is useless as fuck
I have made a terrible mistake.
how did the black cat make a forgery without breaking the seal?
What's the point of rift crystals? I never hire higher level pawns because the game just isn't hard enough to warrant it.... are there other benefits to either rift crystals or hi level pawns I'm just unaware of?
>get to pilgrims gauntlet
>"There, Arisen! Fire Saurian" my sorcerer hiree says
>proceeds to buff me with fire
TO THE DEPTHS YOU GO
I'll look into that weapon, And I keep lightning on her because I personally enjoy going out of my way to fight Ogres and Cyclops. Most enjoyable fights I have right now are against them.
>going about my business
>killing some goblins
>suddenly FUCKING DRAGON
with what level can i try to tackle this fucker? i am level 30
Oh fuck yeah it is. your final skill, dragon's maw, not only does insane damage, but also grants I-frames. You'll be able to tank your way through almost anything. Only thing you'll have to be careful of are spellcasters, especially levin (the quick lightning spell), since your magick defense isn't the strongest. Just be aware of your surroundings, and get used to perfect blocks (the prescience augment from fighter widens the window to perfect block, grab it when its available).
>someone finally hired my red-head bara warrior pawn
Hope you like it. My pawns' name is Gandalf, in case you might miss it. He's built like a house and likes to cast aoes as a sorc
Now that I'm forced to be a whore....
...black pantsu or white pantsu?
>Chamber of Fate
Holy shit I forgot how hard that shit was. I feel like crying everytime i enter that Chamber.
Also, im at lvl 50 and feels like lvling is too fucking slow, is wraping up the game and going for hard mode faster then keep farming XP on everfall?
If you don't like looking like a whore, wearing armor that isn't slutty. I've been wearing the same fucking cloak since the game started and I've only died ONCE and it was during a fight with a drake, dawg.
>mfw wandering there during night
Just heard some wings flapping and suddenly there was fire everywhere.
Had a similar experience with this guy.
Anyone knows what the name of that subtle reshade was? I seem to remember some guy here in ddg using it. Simply ups saturation a slight tad and gets rid of the brown filter the game normally has. I think i might have found in on sweetfx DB but still unsure.
same. no idea why people complain about it. i walked into the quest thinking oh boy here we go this shit is gonna suck.
i actually enjoyed the nice stroll through town and then let the babby win cause that seemed like the right thing to do. got the idol ez and went on with my day. overall a 6/10 for quest, could of been better with maybe some lowlife trying to start shit and her telling me to beat him up for dishonoring her.
So it seems pawn rentals are still kind of fucked.
Went online today to see my pawn having been hired six times. Half of them returned with a decent amount of RC and the other half returned with 0 rc and rocks.
BBI baby. I entered at like 52, beat Daimon and walked out at 73. Went into 2.0, walked back out at like 94 (popped a pilgrims charm for Daimon 2.0, got 3 levels out of the second half of the boss fight).
Or, farm death in the garden with blast errors and conq perries under weal. Up to level 150 or so, you should get anywhere from 3 - 10 levels per kill under weal, and the chance for level 3 cursed items.
>Hire a cool looking Mage pawn
>He has the deepest possible voice
For fucks sake, stop this.
Enemy placements are different, necrophages aren't scripted anymore, death can show up in every room (but not every combination of enemies in every room), rewards in chests have been tweaked to potentially hold better items (but also more maneaters), etc.
>exploring the postgame everfall
>find a room with a Drake in it
>fuck yeah, 4 sorc party easily destroy it with gicels, even on hard mode
>explore futher on the floor for treasure before leaving
>come back to what should be a cleared chamber
>TWO (2) GORECHIMAERA
>TWO (2) LICHES
>none of my pawns can get off a single cast while I run around shooting holy focused bolts and praying
JESUS FUCK WHY WOULD A CHAMBER SUDDENLY RESPAWN WITH ENEMIES MOMENTS LATER
THAT FUCKING DRAKE DIDN'T EVEN DRAGONFORGE MY SHIT
My sorc wrecked everything with just holy affinity and bolts at least, with stamina curatives to keep running around like a madman
>11 rents so far
>0 from /ddg/
why add me to friends in the first place
b-but they have the best stats
>I've been wearing the same fucking cloak since the game started and I've only died ONCE
>Why are you forced?
I'm playing on hard mode though, 1 hit from any large monster insta kills me, but if I hope to survive a normal ambush from a couple of goblins I've got to wear the best there is
And I refuse to wear the princess dress
>Silly anon, trying to trick us with an MK going staff and shield.
Just switched from a rank10 sorcerer to get some levels of booster magic attack and the attribute. I think I'm rank4 with MK with an escort quest, going to check out if I can get the cannon already
>Decide to go get the Wyverm & Wyrm tears
>Port to bluemoon and start fighting
>Take it down to half health in about a minute from scaling and kisses
>It takes off with 2 bars left
>Shit, forgot stamina items
>Notice my pawn is still on it
>Gets to the heart and starts ripping health off
>Literally kills it before it can hit the ground
I've never felt so proud
this fucking thing man
got it down to 3 health bars and it fucking 1 shot me
>decide to go Warrior to teach my Warrior pawn
>realize I'm not sure how to play a top tier warrior
I mean I get aerial light is fast and it should be used a lot. I guess I need to teach my pawn to use corona slash in a group, scale ogres and get their helms off?
What can a pawn actually "learn"? He does jump attack a lot more, now.
So, i defeated drake for first time. It wasnt really that hard, but his fus ro dah scream was annoying, cause he insta killed every pawn. Is there a way to avoid this? I tried to get them away from him but it seems it has a pretty large area of hitting.
>Clothing with an extra 2 defense will stop you getting one or 2 shot
M8. Wear some proper clothing.
Armour? Yeah, wear whatever is best, but the clothing gives fucking no defense (Though some have nice resists), so stop making a loli whore like a faggot.
I feel like I got off easy with how I just ran around and shot homing bolts.
I want to practice mystic knight but I keep taking damage. How do I git gud at blocking? No lockon like souls means I'm never facing the right direction when I'm trying to reposition.
I regret this, I feel like im locked into this attire.
>Somebody finally hires my pawn
>Gift is a rock
>5 stars across the board
your main attack against big thing is going to be your jump attack with the eminence augment though. once you knock it down charge up that hit and repeat the process.
why don't you just shoot it from the top? that's what I did.
That fucking dragon that comes right after it though. My magick archer wasn't doing shit for damage to it. All I have for damage on MA really is sixfold if it's not small enough space for ricochet. I'm wondering if I need to change to sorc and go back to see if that works better.
>when you accidentally rent a meme pawn
and now i feel robbed.
got an online kill earlier today at lv60
stack magic rebalancer 4 times, then spam hunters bolt, targeting as many hearts as you can
if you get a spare wyrm tear i'd love one, even trade you something for it
Be ever vigilant. Look at every merchants stuff every now and then. Eventually you will find something of a similar style, use that then.
if the armor isn't as "petite" as the one Mercedes is wearing, make the new armor look so by making the character thinner in certain places. It's hard to get it to work just right, but it's worth it
Who else just runs around with only your main pawn? This game is easy enough as it is that 2 extra pawns would just trivialize it. I'm thinking maybe in NG+ on hard mode they will become a necessity, as it is right now I don't want to make this game any easier then it already is.
Can't be arsed to fill out the gdoc, so I'm here to pimp my warrior pawn Sasha.
r8, h8, masturb8.
How would you rank vocations in terms of likeliness to be hired? Assuming they don't have guardian/nexus/pioneer/acquisitor.
I think mages are very popular at the beginning but no one picks them by bitterblack, while warriors are never chosen because only a human understands arcs and the timing of those moves for example.
Despite its age, and the console origins of the game, I think it looks great and has some charm, but holy fuck do nights during post game look awful.
Especially if you have a lantern equipped, look at those circles around the character. Its not that bad in that screenshot though sometimes its awful.
>unironically playing warrior
>unironically making a warrior pawn
So I started as strider. About to hit 10.
I want to go sorc though, some of those spell animations are fucking great. Do I just want until I'm in Gran soren and switch, or just start over as mage for the better stats?
it sucks cause with less pawns you get more exp which makes you level faster thus becoming over-leveled for some early game stuff. wish there was an option to just receive normal exp as if you had 4 pawns hired.
post pawns & arisen
>Fight firedrake in BBI thinking it'd be easy as cursed dragon
>Deal literally no damage unless to the heart
>Constant fire aura damage taking away all my curatives
>Fighter pawn constantly uses shield launch on me when it's on the ground and I get launched on it's burning back
>Main sorcerer pawn gone mad and also rushes in to gets shield launched on the fire drake
>Give up at 3 health dots left on the firedrake
Fucking pawns. I thought that fat fuck fighter was perfect until this fight.
And it looks like my main pawn seems to copy my mystic nut fighting style of rushing into the fray, haven't gone sorcerer once to train her and should probably start doing it now. She started using focused charge holy shot when I switched to staff for those annoying red ghost blobs.
posting my satsuki before i make
my ryuko pawn. or should I make gamagoori? we're both warriors
I'm having a real had time finding anything better then this beast of a sword. Thanks for confirming for me though, think I will give the idol to Madeliene for some extra fashion dogma stuff
The stat games matter immensely with the physical/magical split. You can't play the game as a red, yellow or red/yellow vocation and then expect to transition into anything blue, and vice versa.
Is there any way to have your pawn "unlearn" core skills?
I taught my mage pawn Magick Agent and now she's running around like a retard charging it all day, instead of casting something useful.
I wish, but I wouldn't have sold it anyway.
I've only acquired two Portcrystals and I would be happy with just one more since I would then have covered the important parts of the map imo (I don't mind walking to some extent), but going from Gransys to Greatwall Encampment is tedious.
The two I acquired was from the top of the Bluemoon Tower & at the Dragonforged's House in Knoll Hill.
I missed out on Witchwood & Everfall so this was the last one I was supposed to get to really be okay with the travel system but if it's not here then what the fuck seriously.
re-toasting some webums because we all hate hell-fuck your shit up-hounds
Switched to sorc after ~35 levels of strider and ranger. Now I'm level 45 and I honestly am not that much weaker in terms of magick than my sorcerer support pawn, but I have much more HP and stamina. Probably going to stay sorcerer for a while and then switch to magick archer and I would advise you to try the same
I'm gonna send her back in a couple of minutes. Let me know if you get a rock, because I'm starting to suspect that all my renting is for nothing. If it's all good I'll take her out for real
literally WHAT does she mean by this?
When you hit rank 8 of MK, pick up the sanctuary augment. When your health is critical (30% or lower), your defense/magick defense is increased by 50%. Should boost your survability.
>Going to have to play Sorcerer again before I can finally switch to Mystic Knight
Did in DD, did it in DA, and now in PC DDDA I gotta do it again.
I just don't find sorcerer fun. I want to hit things.
So my pawn is a sorceror and I'm a fighter, and intend to end up as a fighter.
Is there any point to going sorceror to train her? Won't she just end up doing stupid shit again like running into battle after I eventually switch back to fighter
>this lack of rentals
I knew I should of made a generic healslut over a strider
At least she's really useful to me
Word to the wise, if you want lots of hires. Female pawn is a must.
As an MA, your best bet is to load the heart up with explosive rivets (cursed dragons are weak to holy and don't like fire), then either detonate them yourself or have a pawn do it. Tossing 2 or 3 casts of rivet into the heart then detonating them should be good for a lifebar.
Is there a benefit to using mkb over controller for archer classes ?
I have a few vocations to rank 9 including MA and Ranger, currently playing MK since the start pretty much, and played all the way with the 360 controller.
Its comfy af
Someone take my pawn for a ride, tell me what needs fixing apart from the shit weapons, still haven't found any good longbows.
>the bitch gave me golden egg
God fucking damn it, I hope I'm not missing on much
>20% more magic
Not him, but he's right.
Anon, just kill grigori, then farm guards in the noble quarter for an hour or two as a sorcerer. You can just sit on the wall and let two sorcerer pawns afk farm for him and you can go do something else irl. Like fold laundry, or work out. Or study. Something productive.
>need rank 9 warrior for 20% more str
>need rank 9 sorcerer for 20% more mag
Kill me. At least I can train my warrior pawn in the meantime.
>time to hunt for new pawns
>going through the ever ending list of shit
>see someone name "The Mountain"
>is actually a big mother fucker
>get out of the rift
>voice is actually deep as fuck
11/10 did not disappoint.
I want to build a really good Warrior pawn. Is leveling them from lvl10-200 as a warrior a good idea stat-wise? Also what Inclination is best for a warrior?
>Thinking male pawns are bad for hire
Still haven't had a single hire for my dwarf warrior. Starting to think I might be banned as I did mess about with CE, nothing edited on my pawn though. How can I tell if i'm banned?
Well, she's the only way to get a golden idol, and you need a golden idol to finish two quests in the game.
And your golden idol does carry over into NG+, so doing it on your first playthrough is very much advised.
reload last checkpoint, follow the guide in the wiki for that quest on that quest's page.
Dude I played MK until post game where I used the trick to grind vocations.
I used it to level warrior and sorcerer to 9, picked up both 20% augments, done.
Literally no point in playing sorcerer if you dont want to.
I actively try to hire male pawns for a mixed party in case of ogres. That said, I'm lucky if I can find more than two or three at my level in the right vocations, and luckier still if one of them isn't some guardian/nexus fuckup.
it's a stationary turret that fires orbs when you hit it based off the enchantment on your weapon
he's perfect blocking with a holy riposte, which fires multiple holy orbs, which hit the turret and spawn more orbs
I'm afraid you misunderstood my question - I'm curious if he's going to use it ON HIMSELF. Eventually, I'd like to know if I can store valuable curative items on him without worrying about him wasting it.
Trying to build a well rounded character who by level 200, with the right gear, can play a viable sorceror, mystic knight, and Assassin (my 3 favorite vocations).
So far I'm level 40. This has been my structure
I'm thinking 20 more levels of sorceror and then mystic knight to 100? Is there a better plan? I know the first 100 levels are most important
THE FUCK DO I DO BREHS, DO I KILL THE KING? HE'S WENT ROGUE
>no qt green orc females in doc
I try and keep my party pretty balanced.
Yeah, I had a mage pawn until level 55 , she got hired 7 times, then switched her to strider, she doing okay right now, but 0 hires since then.
Might be because I've played quite a lot compared to the majority of players I believe, I still find myself hiring mages for halidom and affinites though, so I might switch her back if I still dont get hires after people catch up in levels.
I figured a strider pawn would be great for the deeps, but still the AI isnt that good even with good inclinations ( utilitarian / scather ).
She was awesome against metal golems and the archydra, fracture dart is an awesome skill and the AI aims it perfectly most of the time. Shes pretty bad with hundred kisses though, which is the main reason I made her strider.
Nigga, first of all you'll never reach Lv. 200 because you'll get bored before you do.
Second, there's nothing to do after you beat BBI, which you'll beat way before Lv 200.
Third, minmaxing isn't worth it at all.
Don't do it. Her fetish is being choked by an old man while someone in a bird person costume watches from the sidelines jacking off. If you interrupt that shit she's going to go all bdsm and call the black bull in to whip your ass.
What's the fucking deal with everybody messing up this word? Is it americans or something? It's spelled sorcerer, with a fucking E
Does the gold idol forgery unlock the equipment for Claxton as well or can you only use the real one for that? If so should I just give a Silver one to him and the real gold one to Madeliene?
Is there any point in using your main pawn as a tank?
I have gotten to lvl 60 with my main pawn as a fighter tank and honestly it feels a bit useless
Probably going to go magic archer eventually, what would be good to couple with it?
Assassin doesn't get a 20% increase to strength augment
That's literally why you play warrior ever, that augment is too good to not grab.
Assassins gets shit augments almost across the board.
I'd hire male pawns if 90% of them weren't le funny crazy ugly joke pawns.
When can I change classes?
I just started playing and strider is absolute ass. You get the choice of either having good KBM bow controls at the cost of extreme clunkiness everywhere else or play with a gamepad and have godawful bow controls.
I regret not picking fighter.
What augment? What rank? I've had my pawn as a fighter for 25 levels now and I should probably change it up. I want her to be a fighter full time by the end, but muh stats and augments.
>decide to take a cool battle picture
>see this after rotating the cam
Pawns getting there. Just need the betrayers arm and leg pieces, then I can get to work DF'ing his equipment. Also want to get a devild nail instead of bitter end for that sweet knockdown and stagger, but that can wait.
>tfw it finally happened
Old news at this point but it was worth the wait.
Gonna have a tall dark sorceror looming over me for a long time it seems.
>Meet Salomet on the mines
>Screw the bandits, I'm charging his ass
>Gang up on him
>He's at 1HP but won't die, the faggot
>Decide to kill the other bandits and he runs away
>As I meet him on the tower, he's completely healthy
Well that's some good nightmare fuel..
>I want to practice mystic knight but I keep taking damage. How do I git gud at blocking? No lockon like souls means I'm never facing the right direction when I'm trying to reposition
Shoulda spent more time playing unlocked bruh.
But seriously it is like unlocked Souls, you just get a feel for enemy positions and face accordingly.
>Not grabbing Eminence + Brain Splitter
Can be done earlier on BBI.
based wizqek, I thought I was fucked
Not sure what level you want, but my pawn is lonely.
Is it just me or are the side quests boring as fuck? I look at them in my quest log, can't even pick one because of how boring they seem. I do one after wandering around and it bores. Not like in witcher 3 where I was doing all side quests because how interesting they were.
I'm stuck running around in circles. Might just have to fire up cheat engine to level myself up for main quests.
Almost makes me wonder if you take the screenshot idea further in the next game and seriously screw with players by making ghosts or weird creatures appear only in screenshots, or even have a monster that will spawn in your world if you see it in a screenshot.
Literally the DD equivalent of Weeping Angels that only appear in the scariest places in the game.
if you look closely the health bar of the saurian here, he didnt take any damage, blocked every single hit.
But how the fuck can you tolerate the shitty bow controls when you're playing on a gamepad?
I'm PC master race, I can't be bothered with this shitty pleb-tier analog stick aiming.
>misspelling of sorcerer
Have a friend check if they can find your pawn, I guess.
Also, to this date, I've never done the Duchess in Distress quest before, 4 years and still finding new quests and I've never played BBI either.
>cute little boy
There's your problem. Literally would never hire a small boy pawn.
My pawn sometimes squats and does this "grr, aaagh!" thing before/after battle. Can anyone tell me what it is and why it is happening? Is it because of his speech thingies?
It's really silly and if I know what causes it then I'll be able to get rid of it.
So I'm playing Mystic Archer and I've heard that Immolation is actually a really good skill. However, when I actually try to use it my character just gets stuck in the windup animation. Anyone know what's wrong or how to fix this?
yes at the black cat but i don't know why you would. shit is bad later on and only serves the purpose of making early game super easy. i just sold them as soon as I go to the Inn
So I based my Arisen off of Saladin from the 3rd crusade era and my main pawn was just a generic Arab strongman type. Do I change my pawn to some loli-warrior for the sweet summon action or stay true to my original intent?
>Ogres are excited by women
>Elder ogres are excited by men
>Drop unspeakable meat
>3 nukes, usually Bolide, Gicel, Fulmination (exceptional for a melee arisen, as you get to channel the lightning while fighting melee)
>A quick cast, either levin or ingle
>You choice for final skill. Some people like holy enchant for holy focused bolt spam, I'd rather have a mid tier spell like high comestion
>Never put maelstrom on, they'll cast it and you won't be able to see shit
>Seism is cool, but the damage output vs. time to into isn't as good as the other nukes
It's probably bugged. It feels like I've killed more chimeras and cyclopes than bandits desu
Making a request for male Pawns. Looking for a handsome Strider/Ranger, and an old Mage/Sorcerer.
Level doesn't matter, my Arisen is low level right now because I just restarted but I'll favourite your pawn to use when I catch up if I like him.
Post picture, name, and level please. No female, I already have my Arisen and Pawn are already female, I want to balance the party out.
If you have a shitty deep voice or chipmunk voice I'll one star the shit out of you.
>mfw I remember doing that on my PS3
It actually melted down and got yellow lights
Thank god for the port
Maybe you wouldn't but I figure plenty of people would. At least those looking for a change from the hundreds of slutwaifus and lolis. Then again, maybe they just see the height of my pawn, assume its a loli, and send him away.
Ever gone back to the gravestone in the second part of the witches woods, where you find Selene and her
There is another NPC who ends up back there, and a stone you can bring to the dragonforged. Never found it until my first PC playthrough.
What should I do brehs, should I send Steven Avery to jail or give him the reasonable doubt spiel?
Tbh for me male pawns stand out more. I can't tell any of the waifu/loli mages apart, so when a hulking warrior walks into the rift they make an impression and tend to be more varied and unique.
Plus it seems like every waifufag can't into anything but fashion and ugly dopey faces, leaving most female pawn inclinations to be utter shit.
Is level 40 low for BBI? I just wanted to go grab some weapons
Enjoy the Tear.
Same thing happened with the Wyrm.
Anyone needs a Wyrm Tear, Got a spare. Pawn info, I'll gift it. Might clear a couple everfall chambers with the pawn too
Played Assassin up to level 30. Kinda bored now. Should I go Mystic Knight or Magick Archer?
Also, is there a place where I can see builds? Post your MA and MK builds.
Nigga im from Spain and I'm renting all of these fags.
Alright /ddg/ i've got a choice between:
Sell me on one of them.
Oh, and also 2 lv.1 armour, 1 lv.2 armour and a lv.2 weapon up for grabs. They all purified into garbage on my end.
If you don't mind waiting an hour or so, I'm starting NG+ after dinner and remaking both my arisen and my pawn for the occasion. I don't mind turning my Ranger pawn into a dude for a chance of pace.
Might be a bit high level for you though, if you just restarted.
I'm just not sure why someone earlier in the /ddg/ couldn't find my pawn. I'm being hired (occasionally), so I'm clearly showing up for some people.
I just wondered if there's still some limitations in place following capcom's earlier fuckups.
somebody please rent my sorc
Any suggestions on how I can make my pawn more hireable? Str: 1271, Def: 539, MDef: 263. Inclincation: Scather/Challenger. Skills: Full Moon Slash, Dragon's Maw, Blitz Strike, Shield Drum, Sheltered Assault, Launchboard.
I get very few hires and I dropped in rank from about 1800 to 3500 overnight.
