Insignias are dropped by named NPC's that are generally considered boss monsters.

You'll have to find them and hunt them down, and usually they're a bit of a challange. Like in the pit in the desert, theres a Yes Man boss-lady that drops 2 or so at a time.

The uniforms cost 80+ and she takes like 10 minutes to spawn.

over in Sentinel Coast there'll be Bamboo Guard NPC's. Killing 10 of them triggers a boss to spawn.

Killing said boss gives you an insignia.

Make sure you're around their level so while you're killing shit you get faction points to trade in for rank. Bring a party to make it go faster, boss monsters give credit and drops to all who participate.

Difficult due to the lack of skill points currently and a challenge to learn, but still pretty decent.
Better than it was in the beta patch at the very least, you were skill point starved there. Mainly aiming to bait out tab and then stunlock combo your opponent for 50%+ health instantly.
Overall, the real challenge comes at 45 with Searing Palm and learning to use it well in addition to getting down 3rf. These guys will be your best friend for that.

That's all we have currently.
