SHADOW BANNED:

Any time your pawn is hired it will return 0 RC and rocks as gifts. Cheating items into the game and modifying stats will give you this ban. Also dealing impossible amounts of damage to the Ur-Dragon will as well. Cheaters on PS3/360 found this out.

There's two kinds of "banning" from the game.

One is a trade-ban, which is what everyone is tripping about now. If the system gets flooded with too many rent returns by/for a single account that account gets flagged for potential duping/muling and has rent returns disabled for a day.

Two is a pawn-ban, this means you did something stupid like upload a clearly hacked pawn and Capcom pulled it from the rift.

Basically the only kind of "banning" that happens in this game involves the pawn rift, Capcom doesn't care if you're blaring INTO FREE or not.

One person in the last thread didn't even mod the game and this happened to him. This may likely be turning out to be a server issue rather than them banning anyone. According to the FAQ though, they won't stop people from modding the game.

Yes.

Your pawn might get a bit screwy though as you end up overwriting your old pawn when you rest at an inn but still recieve its outstanding rents on your new pawn.

Never saw anything bad come of it on console, but you might suddenly recieve extra RC on your "new" save game and a flood of monster/quest knowledge.

The rift system had hiccups on console before, and eventually everyone got their stuff. The scale on PC is of a higher magnitude though, so we'll have to wait and see.

For an archer?

First has plenty of stamina and the best possible strength, but I'm kinda worried about leaving my base mdefense so low.

Both stat builds allow me to play the Vocations I want all the way to 200, so no worries about it feeling like a grind. I just want the most optimal stats for archery by the end.

in game you can check by going to enhance and checking one of the levels, if you have at least one of the item needed to enhance it to that level, it'll tell you if it has a debuff
stuff like the anealed or golden weapons have oil(tarring) and silence respectively built in and i know from experience with the anealed daggers that even at 1* they have a decent proc chance

So I switched out Pummel Slash for Whirlwind to go with Exodus Slash and Corona Slash and went with 1) Scather 2) Utilitarian 3) Mitigator and holy shit do I like my pawn so much more now. Also did that escort to Blood Water beach and found that great chest piece for her by the 2 Cyclopes and a Steel Sword at the Tomb of the Unknown Traveler.

Mage to 10 then Sorc all the way to 200 is the "best" magarc build.

Assassin is what I've been going through and honestly it feels more useful. Magarc seems FUN, but it doesn't seem as good since you can' aim your bow as precisely, plus I feel the autoaim abilities of magarc will get a bit boring after a while.

Is Warrior really bad or only bad on pawns since their timing sucks and they don't know when to land the big moves?

I switched to one from fighter for some extra health, with the intentions of becoming a strider/ranger later, but I've been finding warrior gameplay kind of fun.

I haven't played the game since shortly after console dark arisen came out so I'm not sure how class usefulness changes or how each class fares late game/BBI.
