Masturbation position confirmed
breach and detonate
Why is rook so boring the play yet the most essential one on defense?
like, you put down your armor pack and then you're basically nothing special and just a recruit.
They should make rook less essential and more fun to play.
like being able to trigger an animation with friends that actually gives them the armor, and armor being more like a medipack that gives 10 extra total health.
Rook is just boring.
That would be a good start.
rook is just too much of a "must have" character while also being boring to play.
at least thermite and Thatcher have some neat abilitys that emphasize teamwork while being as important as rook.
I like Rook the most in Hostage.
I always put a shield behind the hostage, and camp there with him.
It darkens the hostage and myself enough that when being shot, or shooting at someone they can barely see the hostage is actually right there infront of myself.
Hostage killed by attackers all day long
Rook is kind of boring, but since you have less to do at the start you can go drone hunting, or barricade off other areas so you can get an early warning when attackers try to break in. I usually camp away from the objective and go for surprise or roaming kills
I'm sorry but i just don't enjoy the way recoil works in CSGO.
and yes i know there's more than just Dust2 but it's still always just Bomb defusal since they somehow decided to remove glorious cs_nuke.
It's fine if you don't like it but pulling down lightly is virtually all of the recoil management you need; there's no bills hit involved. Also you can just uncheck D2.
Fair enough if you don't like de though.
>play as Rook
>lay down armor
>run upstairs and barricade floor hatches
>camp as far from the bio material/bombs/hostage as I can
>wait for explosions and gunfire
>run all the way around to flank
>get three kills from behind
>other two die from Kapkan's traps
Every fucking game.
For me its Rook, Mute, and Bandit. If you recycle your batteries and jackets once the drone round is over and move them to reinforced walls, you pretty much fuck the enemy thermite unless they have a Thatcher.
Is it just me or is Doc fucking useless? His stim pistol is only good for the self-revive. It'd be better is he could lay down a med kit and friendlies can walk over it to refill lost health.
No, not at all.
the range revive can be really useful, also you bring them back to life with 75 health instead of 50.
and you get to self revive.
I think he's actually a solid pick.
i think his Stim pistol should also heal people for 25 health though, that would make him really solid, giving up 1 stim pistol shot for a 25 HP heal seems ok.
I never have the opportunity to revive teammates though. I camp with Doc and the teammates that get downed are either roamers or get dicked hard enough where I don't even have time to switch to the stim.
he's not useful every round. there are multiple characters that aren't useful every round.
I've been playing him a lot lately and i get to do some work with that stim pistol.
Nothing that actually won the team the game since the TS people usually carry my ass but still got to use the stim pistol.
>Doing some solo queue
>Everything is going well, chaperoning a team of lower levels and going 3-0's or 3-1's in most games
>Level 40 joins in who thinks he's hot shit
>Starts giving the wrong advice to everyone and threatning to teamkill them if they disobey.
>Everyone listens to the dumbass
>Refuses to work as a team
>I go Montagne in a last ditch effort to see if I can spark some teamwork out of these guys
>Everyone scatters and refuses to work with my shield
>Everyone dies one minute in
>1v4 as Montagne
>The Level 40 shitter is still laughing about the epic melee kill he got in a bathroom right before getting mauled to death by the other 4 guys
>Get killed exactly through the flank I told him to watch (request which he ignored)
God dammit. I hate pompous assholes who are authoritative like that and people just listen to them instead of being nice and working together
>afking at the start of a round in casual
>accidently shoot my teammate in the back
>team goes back to revive him
>stand still to see how it plays out
>he kills me
>suddenly the entire team starts teamkilling eachother
>he gets vote kicked
nah i'm just saying that when you use the revolver with a laser sight and crouch before every shot, the revolver will be fairly accurate and you can get those 2 bodyshots in.
And spamming the pistol in close range has rediculous recoil.
What's the best place to put jammers as Mute in the prep phase when on stairs?
So that the red circle barely touches the top of the stairs?
Or so that the center of the red circle is touching the last stair?
Boring as fuck but useful
Pretty useful but kind of boring
Middle for both usefulness and fun
Kind of fun, not too useful
I've never had so much fun being useless
Not a lucky headshot. An aimed one, you pleb. You put your laser sight on their head and when you think you've got a brief moment of respite (either because they're reloading or they're hesitating) you quickly pop a headshot on them.
You can't do that with a revolver. It takes too much time to aim down sights. With a P9 it's almost instant and allows for the pop headshot
Castle more often than not is an active detriment, Pulse is situationally useful and needs a good player. I'll give you Thermite which is why I didn't say they were all useless.
Castle bullet soaking wall is really good for a lot of window maps since people don't always have charges or sledge, pulse is hella good with a premade team if they are good enough to destroy walls (usually a solo character though)
>get Rainbow Six Black Ops from the OP link mostly working
>boots in windowed mode, forces cursor to the bottom-right of the desktop
>effectively prevents me from clicking on anything in the game, rendering it unplayable
>Get Mute and Bandit paired up with that nigga and you'll have a really good day of defense.
>get on ts you niggers
>literally no people on TS
You are playing with a bad team then. An entire team should never lock themselves in the objective. Spread out, destroy some walls and make some choke points to prevent them from even getting close. Also people shouldn't be using all their reinforcements right away. I save one of my wall ones in case a wall gets partially destroyed and I can use it to repair the wall, and save my castle barricades for when I know where they are coming from.
No wonder Ventrilo is better. You euro fags don't do anything right.
>mfw they still haven't discovered an automatic transmission
I've been driving manual for the past 3 years now, and just bought an automatic.
I literally get blowjobs on demand from GF while driving, and we can cuddle and chill on long boring drives.
I still have my stick shift truck and car, but man having a nice automatic daily is where it's at.
>party up with some americans and other shit
>most of our group have like 150+ ping
>still 3-0 every game
Too bad it's a scientific fact that Americucks are much more worse in online games than Euros
>using a botnet instead of free open source software
Holy shit i didn't mean to start some EU vs NA shit, since all the people on teamspeak are usually alright.
I was just stating the fact that in Europe, people more commonly use teamspeak instead of ventrilo or Mumble while in NA the Ventrilo and Mumble user number is much higher.
All these services are fine and do what they set out to do.
Have some IQ to calm your inner patriot.
>this is what eurocucks actually believe
We get it that you're the sort of retard to brag about your fat 2/10 occasionally giving a pity blowjob in a video game thread but please stop trying to justify the fact you can't drive manual.
People who watch sports.
>bet homie 20 bucks panthers would win
>laugh and offer to showcase him how the game is going to go on Madden
>literally school his punk ass all day long in Madden.
>win 20 bucks.
So what do they mean when they are adding other cosmetic items
Yeah because that matters now since a EU team just beat those, it's like it is now
America was the best of that patch
while EU is the best of this patch
fucking retard americucks kill urselves lads
yeah sure keep believing that
my sides are in orbit desu
>O-only pretending to get replies
Daily Reminder to let people play what they want instead of yelling at them to pick some useful class.
Let People pick whatever they feel like no matter if its IQ, Kapkan or Pulse.
Don't be a dick. Hate the game not the player.
I had some guy flipping his shit at me earlier for picking Doc
I had a challenge for him
He shut up immediately when fate intervened and he got downed in a spot where it was actually viable to stim gun him
Still, fuck Doc, he's not even great at roaming because he's slow
All I'm going to say is that he's avatarfagging and that's reportable. I'm not advocating to report him either way (because that's bannable) but just reminding you all that that's a rule.
You can stop worrying about grenades now
Would it be better if every player had the same model like it was intended to be, and there would have been no female operators? Was this a move by Ubisoft just so feminists don't attack the game?
This honestly bothers me quite a lot. I wish characters would all be the same and none of this spetznaz gign swat in the same team against more spetznaz gign swat ops nonsense
The only time ive ever seen this used successfully was after i spent 4-5 rounds spaming smoke nades and charging in with a shield. Hats off to whoever played jager that round, they ruined my strats.
>like it was intended to be
It never was. The operator idea was always planned, but was kept secret at E3. Also, the Rainbow Six series always had females, fuccboi.
you know there was a time that these threads weren't so fucking dead
modding fuckign when
very fun. Gameplay of the year desu. A lot of the server issues have been fixed as well. If you're on PC we have a really active teamspeak so there's always people to play with
it's pretty fun if you play with a team of 5 on TS.
it's a little pricey so i can't totally recommend it but it is definitly fun, just... expensive fun.
I bought it for 60 CAD while it was on sale. No regrets, it's incredibly fun. We have a really active teamspeak to (Most people talk there instead of posting, that's why the general seems dead)
>If you're on PC we have a really active teamspeak so there's always people to play with
>(Most people talk there instead of posting, that's why the general seems dead)
The TS info from the OP had to be removed a while ago due to rampant circlejerking and drama in the thread just so you >>129030613
know what you're getting into.
>having a third party chat, for a third party forum.
Niggas, I hope you know it's literally just a circle jerk for you teamspeak fags and 90% of us posting here don't care or need you guys advertising your shit that doesn't matter.
>modding in racetrack maps
>rainbow six siege becomes Operator Kart
Nigga, I hope you know that the TS is pretty much exclusively a place for pick-up games. I haven't seen much of any circle-jerk, just 5 guys in a channel either playing the game or trying to get around networking errors to play the game. It's just an open voice server for whoever wants to play R6.
I was actually going to suggest that earlier and forgot it. Either way here's my result 20 hours later in Photoshop.
e3 siege mod, where the operator system is replaced by
assaulter, breacher, and pointman on attack
protector, trapper, and sentry on defense
defenders can go outside
attackers can spawn on the roof
everyone's name is automatically changed to havoc
3 Hours and TS has used 50 megabytes. That isn't exactly draining. Also TS works when the game crashes, and when you're not in a party. In game chat doesn't.
Gadget: Almost invisible, sticky Wires that dont damage but slow the enemy for a certain ammount of time and make a distinct noise when "triggered".
Tools: Nitro or Barbed Wire
>with no extra strain on net
Not with Ubisoft Networking you don't. What kind of shit internet do you have that you don't have up and down room for an optimized audio codec? Also, how are you going to organize a team of five when you have no way of coordinating to get around party connection errors? The TS makes playing together convenient and playing with a whole team of randoms is only for the masochistic in this game.
Gives new meaning to the term "shiteating grin"
How to fix operators:
Stim gun can now be used as a heal gun 1 shot heals 25 health, can be used on a living target. so if you revive someone to 75 health you can also use another shot for 25 extra health.
is now able to shoot through every wall at every device that is withing 5 m reach or IQ, Shooting in the general circle will do it.
his gun can now rotate 360 degrees and it comes with a shield for your leg (maybe)
I think the rest of the cast is more or less fine.
>you don't always get hostage though
Yes but I like doing it anyway. Speaking seriously for a moment I agree on Tach. IQ just needs a complete fucking rework however, especially considering Thatcher just makes her redundant.
1. Place the DP-28 behind dry wall facing the objective room.
When the enemy breaches in, wallbang the living shit out of them, the DP-28 does over 80 damage to medium armor and this value is barely affected by obstacles in the way
2. Opt to use barbed wire instead of a deployable shield. Put the wires on places where enemies are bound to come. Mount your gun somewhere near, and when you hear the cue, get ready to fire.
3. Push forward and try to gain the attention of the attackers by shooting at them. Chances are, you won't lose much health due to your very heavy armor. Lure them into a hallway in which you have placed your DP-28, and then mow them down/have your teammate mow them down using the weapon.
4. Just roam. Tachanka is as viable as Kapkan for roaming save for the fact that he has no C4. He has the best SMG in the game, and his armor (especially with Rook on your team) makes it hard for the enemy to win one-on-one confrontations with him.
5. Just put a DP-28 at the end of a long hall way and wait for people. This probably will only get you one kill, but hey.
well if you consider my IQ buff here >>129035342
she would have infinite Thatcher grenades, would always have a gun out, would never get fucked by Jäger ADS.
she's not supposed to outdo Thatcher but rather being an alternative. also obviously comes with other guns than thatcher and different stats.I think it would work out great.
This is why I wonder why we are getting Japanese operators
>Stim gun can now be used as a heal gun 1 shot heals 25 health, can be used on a living target. so if you revive someone to 75 health you can also use another shot for 25 extra health.
No pls. This isn't the Battlefuck series.
Its incredibly unbalanced.
>doc is now a unstoppable killing machine, he already has 3 armor, but now he can just give himself extra health if he gets into a jam
Seriously, get into one shootout, both sides get injured, then healing yourself to you have the upperhand is retarded as shit
Ive been stuck in silver 3 forever I think its a bug or something. I got placed in silver 3 and I havent moved from here ever. 4 or 5 wins I dont move. 4 or 5 loses I dont move. Any Idea?
>stop having a discussion in this general you guys
Do you guys like never visit any generals?
Again i never said "on yourself" And in the original post i said on a living target.
come on guys people die so fast in this and it would just make doc somewhat useful. consider how much health rook gives to your team.
>Teammate keeps feeding
>Talking endless shit (mostly singing "you are all fucking retarded) constantly, occasional butthurt in all chat
>Teammates keep taking turns TKing since he refuses to leave
>Votekick him last round so he doesn't get renown
he doesn't get renown if we kick him right?
Both Japanes SFGp and SAT have operational history, the SFGp in Iraq and the SAT in a few different hostage, hijacking, and organized crime situations in Japan. I mean, there's more than JUST terrorist organizations for SWAT teams to intervene on.
Well then suggest something else, i think doc is already okay since if you roam and end up trading you just selfrevive and won the trade with little to no casualtys. ofcourse people rarely explore the map alone so it's a very uncommon scenario.
>heys guys let's give doc the ability to heal someone for 25 points
>that's a shitty fucking idea
>w-well he wouldn't be able to use it on himself for some unexplained reason
>it would make doc somewhat useful
No, it would make him incredibly overpowered.
>beginning of round, people immediately break windows/rush outside and cheese enemies, knowing that doc can just heal them if they get hit
exactly. Doc is fine as is
Tachanka with 360 turret is pretty cool I guess
IQ is honestly fine (if she was better, more people would use her and I wouldn't be a special snowflake anymore)
damn near all gunfights end with a kill, and if it doesn't it usually ends with that person being in a safe place to be revived. So all doc has is sometimes giving people an extra 25 health.
compared to armor for the team or denying breach charges or almost any other one, yea i'm gonna say it isn't useful
and I think the doc giving health idea is shitty, he's just another one of the shitty ones like kapkan and iq
>Clutching last round, 3v1
>Get kill, 2v1
>get kill 1v1
>think the game is glitching, run in like I won the place.
>It was doc uptop and I didn't realize it
>he revives and pops me right quick.
>hang head in shame.
I suck m8.
Let Tachanka mount his LMG on window frames and deployable shields or it's standalone mount
Bam, much more usable.
Oh, and make it so you can actually plant the damn things everywhere you should be able to
Rooks armour plating upgrades your armour value by 1 point, so it can prevent you from otherwise taking lethal damage from the shot that downs you because of the added damage reduction.
Unless of course they aim for the head like normal.
I believe 3 armor operators should take an extra headshot to kill just to make them more usable in fights to alleviate the reduced mobility.
The armor saves you from hipfiring and that's about it.
Someone requested watermelon version of Castle.
Is this too much?
>m-muh castles muthafucka
This is the phrase used by Castles, accompanied by a look of pure confusion when they are confronted with simple questions, like "why did you lock us all in the objective room?"

They should have had a short planning phase for the attackers, kind of like in the demo.
>after the drone phase
>birds-eye-view of map comes up
>everyone can draw on it
use this to draw paths that you want people to take, or that you will be taking
>or just draw dicks
M8 half the people who play this game don't even communicate with others what makes you thing giving them a drawing board will help.
However I do think after you find the target the attackers should be allowed to change their weapons or items maybe even operators. For example there's situations where taking a flash bang would be more useful or situations where Glaz might be useful but the defenders aren't in the right spot.
I'm making wallpapers of all the operators. Do you guys want them?
Honestly I'm posting them on the subreddit so I'm just going to link there when they're done, but I like this community too so I figured I'd offer.
I'm going to post them all on the subreddit (I can just post the imgur album link here, honestly) and if you want to, you can dump them all for me. I don't feel like spending an hour posting all 20 papes
progress update or something

Seriously, what part of helping the enemy get away with shooting the hostage do you not get?
>and it's obviously more than "a few filters" since you fuckers didn't do it.
It literally is just some filters, and no one else did it because no one wanted it.
Throwing a tantrum because people didn't like you begging for games is really childish anon

This is a general for discussing a game. Not to beg for video games. Go to fucking reddit or /b/ if you want to beg for games.
Literally no one but you has begged for a game before in these threads
When is something going to be done about people cheesing by shooting out of windows instantly? I just played a game on airplane, where a pulse ran out of a door upstairs and killed me before it even notified me he was outside. There's no good way to combat it, especially considering I was playing Blitz. From that vantage point a shield user has no way of fighting back.
Approach slowly and watch windows and doors? And don't all clump together on approach? It's really not that big of a problem and they're at a bigger disadvantage than you unless you let them get the upper hand by being reckless.
There is literally no way I could have prevented what happened
>spawn on plane as blitz
>approach giant staircase to plane entrance
>pulse appears up top and instantly kills me with no warning he was outside
>literally could not have seen he was coming until he was in view to shoot me
It's an incredibly big problem, with them having a massive upperhand. They can catch you outside with little to no cover, meanwhile all they have to do is side step and you can't touch them
You can hear them breaking that shit from tens of meters away. Just back off or push hard as blitz. He can only come from one direction which is the direction you should be facing
>Ubishit will never release a map editor for Siege
>You can hear them breaking that shit from tens of meters away
And how does that help me when they already broke shit before the time ended? They can break it in the last few seconds of the drone phase and I'd never know
Something needs to be done, because it takes all the fun out of the game when I'm under fire before I even reach the building. Especially shield users can't combat it
>And how does that help me when they already broke shit before the time ended? They can break it in the last few seconds of the drone phase and I'd never know
How about don't do the drone dance in the objective room and search for roamers
>waste your drone phase making sure no one will cheese you
You need to seek out the objective, and rarely do you have enough time to run back to the main doors and windows to see if there are people going to cheese
You only need to check two or so spots on each map to get a gist of where the objective is if you haven't already found it, and odds are, someone will find it before you do. If you or your surviving drones aren't searching for roamers, you're doing it wrong, and this is regardless of you fearing that they might attack you from windows. You should be checking for roamers during setup.
Plus, as long as you're not blindly charging towards the building, people shooting out windows is not a problem. Every map gives you ample cover on approach, and breaking a window or door is very audible and visible. This then gives you a nice tiny spot for you to concentrate fire and score a quick headshot. It is actually more risky for them than for you, as you have a much wider area to spread and much more cover to use. That is unless your team is incompetent and just sprints straight for the objective.
>breaking a window or door is very audible and visible.
You keep ignoring that most windows and door are broken during the drone phase. By the time you can see a window is broken you're dead.
Like I said, search for roamers and you'll see them break windows, and no by the time you see a window is broken you are not already dead, as there are multiple spawn points and you spawn behind cover. You also have an extremely wide area to spread out. The amount of cover you can use is much greater in area than the amount of cover that all the windows in every building has, and not only that, their heads are what will be sticking out, making them easy targets. Never have I had this problem except with shitter teams that rush the building.
>That is unless your team is incompetent and just sprints straight for the objective.
At this point you're pretty much forced to sprint for the objective because you're in fear of getting cheesed. If you take your sweet time going slow and checking to see if every window and door is secure they spot you, and keep you pinned down with fire from the safety of the building. A good amount of the time you have little to no cover outside. They have plenty of over, they just have to duck or run aside
Please explain how I could have prevented this>>129080006
Keep in mind my drone got destroyed when I found the objective room, and the door was already broken, so I had no way of hearing it break
Holy shit are you serious? Just systematically sweep the building, from a distance and check for holes. This literally takes 5 seconds, even less if you droned ahead and knew what floors have roamers.
There's no way they'd know from what piece of cover you're sweeping from because of the vast area you could be. Then just have one guy provide overwatch as everyone else runs to the building. They'll only smash windows within the first 20 or so seconds of the match. Plus the roamers that smash windows will usually be jager and blitz and they have disgustingly large helmets to shoot at
How about keep your shield pointed forward. Oh also, most good players will drone ahead before taking the escalator or busting down any airplane door, or dropping from the top hatch because they're such effective fatal funnels. Only takes about 2 seconds, and it helps that airplane has fast lanes of travel so time is usually not that big of a problem
>How about keep your shield pointed forward
When an enemy is on top of the escalator keeping your shield forward doesn't mean shit, they have a angle advantage on you, either your head or feet will be exposed. Also my drone was dead as previously stated, though if I had droned ahead I would see him coming out just in time to undrone and get killed.
This entire conversation about defenders shooting out of windows doesn't really hold true on Plane where someone can run out the door and shoot you literally 2 seconds after you spawn, so if you don't spawn right next to cover you're going to die if the guy can aim
1. don't fucking crouch when they're above you. They're not going to shoot your feets on staircase.
2. don't drone ON staircase. Why would you drone or do anything less than be on full combat ready advance or retreat in a fatal funnel. If you don't feel like taking the time to send a drone up the staircase then pick another entry point
>They're not going to shoot your feets on staircase.
Yes, they will, because that's what they can see.
I did not drone on stair case, I was pointing out why it was flawed, because you spawn out in the open on plane with very little cover. By the time you find cover a good player can pick you off
>Yes, they will, because that's what they can see.
Angle is too high from bottom of the shield and your feet, and feet move too much. You'll only be taking about 15 damage to the feet anyways since you have level 3 armor if they can even hit it, which is very difficult, if their attention even gets directed down there.
>you spawn out in the open on plane with very little cover.
You spawn behind an ambulance by staircase. The other spawns are pretty much underneath the plane at a very high angle from the exterior doors.
Pulse also has nitro, so just angling my shield at him and hoping he goes away is fucking dumb
My main point is that this game is meant to be a team tactical shooter, not break windows and go call of duty instantly. Defenders have an incredibly unfair advantage inside the building if they just fire out of it. Buildings have several floors and windows on each side, carefully trying to see if one has a small hole punched in it can get you killed.
I'm sorry I want to play the game it's meant to be played and not get snipped before I can reach the building
Do you not have teammates? Do you not have a point of egress and other points of entry? Just back off if someone shows up and you fear there's nitro and enter from a different point.
This is a tactical shooter. That's why you have to approach the building tactically. There's at most like 8 windows/doors on one side of a building. Just do a quick sweep and you can see a hole. You don't have to slowly and closely examine every window to see if there's a hole unless you have really really bad eyes. Have a teammate provide overwatch as everyone else runs the building. If you see a hole, mark, and wait for a head to pop out.
PLUS as attackers, you have two characters with DMRs, everyone gets the magnified optics, and your weapons are more powerful, and you have the advantage of the larger playing field. Like I said before, unless you're not playing tactically, you're really just missing out on free kills because people that bust out windows early in the match only do so to pick off people that rush in. Even if you don't hit him, a bit of concentrated fire will make the roamer fuck off to a different part of the building
>Just back off if someone shows up and you fear there's nitro and enter from a different point.
>pulse catches me at the escalator as blitz
>get nitro'd because he just lobs it down the stairs
And 8 doors and windows is a lot to see if there's a single little hole broken in one of them. Checking them all is near impossible to do without getting shot from someone who's really determined to cheese you, because they know the spawn points, and know where you will most likely be coming from on that side
All a defender has to do is peak out a window, kill one player, and it fucks your chances of winning for the rest of that round. Hell I had a game before where our thermite was peaked, and we couldn't breach for that round because of it.
>concentrated fire will make him fuck off
Yeah, to a different window nearby
>get nitro'd because he just lobs it down the stairs
You can only lob the nitro like 10 feet max. The range on that is pathetic, and by that range you should have clear visual to the top of the door anyways and you'd know if it was broken or not.
>And 8 doors and windows is a lot to see if there's a single little hole broken in one of them.
No it's not. I literally do it every match. Just do a quick sidestep sweep from cover and you will see if one is broken or not. It takes no time at all. Plus most maps will have glass on the other side of the window, and if the pane is broken, it's a tell tale sign. Also you'll usually see rubble on the bottom of the window frame, if something was broken. If you have problems with this, maybe get your eyes checked. It's especially nice that the character models have this weird black glow so it makes it stand out especially so if there's a small hole and there's someone peaking.
>Yeah, to a different window nearby
which he will have to pull down, which leaves him highly vulnerable, or break a hole, which gives everyone a nice spot to put their crosshairs for an easy headshot. Only shitter teams have a problem with this
>You can only lob the nitro like 10 feet max.
Except from a vantage point like the escalator on plane you can lob it down the entire staircase. I watched him do it after he killed me.
And yes, 8 is a lot. I die often because a peaker kills me when I glance out to check the windows
Honestly I don't see why playing the game the way it was intended is asking too much. I don't want to play "get killed before you even reach the building if you don't have hawk eyes" the game
>Except from a vantage point like the escalator on plane you can lob it down the entire staircase.
And this is why you should spend less time wasting drones, and more time searching for roamers, so you don't breach right into a roamer regardless if he was going to go on the counteroffensive.
>And yes, 8 is a lot. I die often because a peaker kills me when I glance out to check the windows
That sounds like bullshit to me. Have you ever tried peeking out the window? It's a clusterfuck of different paths and spots of cover, and that's if you're lucky enough to be on the right side when they spawn in. That's why it's only effective on shitter teams, because they run in a pack right towards the building. Anything else, and the peeker is at a severe disadvantage.
The game isn't designed to baby you or hold your hand. Expect contact on approach. Attackers don't get any more of a safe space than defenders do.
>Attackers don't get any more of a safe space than defenders do.
Except for the objective building where they have literally no chance of being killed before I get inside, if they don't open a window.
And yes I have tried peeking out a window, it's not hard to get a kill if you're on the same side as the one they spawned at. It just sucks the fun out of the game though.
>Except for the objective building where they have literally no chance of being killed before I get inside, if they don't open a window.
Yes, and once they choose to open the window, the safe space is gone for both teams. Attackers have pretty much the same luxury of deciding when to open up a window or door and begin an engagement.
>And yes I have tried peeking out a window, it's not hard to get a kill if you're on the same side as the one they spawned at. It just sucks the fun out of the game though.
Yeah it's easy against a shitty team that doesn't check windows. Once you do engage a team that does, you get obliterated once you open up a hole.
Both teams don't have luxury. The entire defending team is completely safe except for the one guy who decides to peak, and the entire attacking team is now under fire from this happening.
I honestly don't see how anyone could be defending spawn killing like this
Now this peaker has entered a 5v1 situation where he's on the receiving end of a funnel with an exposed head facing a team with better weapons and optics. I don't see the problem here
He only has the element of surprise if you're not expecting it. I kill people peaking from windows constantly. You have so much cover you can sweep from, and if you're cutting the pie correctly, you have the advantage rounding the corner from cover. The only time you don't is if you're an idiot and pop from the same side he saw you from already. Even still, it is highly unlikely that a window peeker will be preaiming your cover unless he's already slaughtered the rest of your team because they're shitters that decided to rush the building.
It's not spawnkilling. It's a free kill for a diligent attacking team. This itself nets one less roamer giving you much better freedom of movement through the building.
>It's not spawnkilling
It's spawnkilling, don't try putting a spin on it. It's literally camping the enemy spawn and killing them from it once they come into view.
And a lot of maps offer little to no cover. Plan especially is dangerous because someone can run out the highest entrance and have a clear vantage point of almost everywhere you could be coming from
All maps give cover of some sort to spawn areas. All of Plane's spawns are visually blocked by vehicles or they're almost under the plane. Not only that, all of plane's spawn covers are only visible by exiting the spawn area meaning in order to wait for you to come out of cover, they'll be marked. You're just trying to come up with excuses on how this is some sort of unfair advantage, but it's not. Attackers are only at a disadvantage to window peekers when they forget to check
It's literally camping out where they spawn and waiting for them to come out of cover. The windows and doors are far spread, checking them all can and will get you shot if someone is peaking
The game is meant to be about sieging with destructible environment, not trying to spawn kill
If they try to spawn kill on plane by waiting for you to pop from cover, then they'll be marked, giving you a huge advantage where you can just do a quick side step in and out and pop their head. Nobody rushes out of plane to spawn kill because it's a massive massive disadvantage to the defenders to do so. You can't even check the doors on airplane because none of them are visible from any spawn, and none of them are really visible until you're on the structure leading up to the door. This gives you plenty of unreachable space to drone in an entry point. The only entry points that are shakey are the stairs, but it also still gives a huge advantage to attackers to take because they can blast feet and provide a close platform for glaz to wreck shit through the windows.
Fucking Ubisoft, I swear.
So sometimes people on the TS rush the building. So sometimes people on the TS lose an engagement. Then tally up the number of times you killed a window peeker. If the team you're playing with is decent, then the number of peekers you kill or quickly discourage will greatly exceed the number of people killed by window peekers
you are allowed to have an opinion anon, i acknowledge your criticism.
Not him, but the real problem with window peakers is that they can easily catch you off guard unless you have people constantly ADS on every window as you move up to the building.
There are many times on House where I would wait a few seconds into the round while the attackers are distracted and break open a window, killing an attacker with a headshot, then running away.
>she can now disable explosives (not counter measures like trophy systems) she's looking at and they stay disables 1 second when she stops having them on the screen. Great for stealthing a place that has an explosive trap
Just bought it on ps4, anyone else have it want to play?
Also any tips for a new player?
Why doesn't Ubi just give up trying to make a platform? It hasn't worked correctly since its inception years ago, and it actively gets in the way of people who just want to play their games
I personally refuse to buy any other Ubi games until they remove the Ubishit launcher requirement
They're literally losing money just because they want people to use their garbage platform
god are all pcfats this persistent and autistic
Radical Bandit moves through walls by vibrating several QPUs away and misaligning his step so he moves to the other side of the wall.
Just gonna throw out there that there's a lot of bounding cover on the approach to the buildings outside, a diligent team should always cover the windows on approach, and getting shot at from the windows of a boarded up barricade building is just about par for the course for actual barricade situations.
this game is on Amazon's deal of the day right now for just $35
Should I get it or is this Ubi trying to save a sinking ship?
I just noticed that Kapkan's traps are almost invisible in sunlight
you know what time it is
pitch me your new operators
I don't feel like searching my original post for it though.
Hostage carry dog, IE only pistol until you release it
It pins one defender down and deals DoT if it can path to them, can get caught up and killed by barbed wire
