Can someone PLEASE explain exactly how to install the reshade mod? The guy provides no instructions whatsoever on the nexus page. Do I just dump it in the same folder as the exe? Do I need any other files? Do I need ENB to use it? Very confused. I dropped off the files in main folder and it's not working. Home and End toggle keys do nothing at all.

Get the nexus mod that gives you unlimited sprint. It's pretty balance because while sprinting you recover absolutely no stamina, so it's not a huge advantage in battle or anything, and it lets you travel with sprinting. I personally use the mod that combines unlimited spring with removing the arisen chest scar.

Also, which makes the better archer? Ranger or Assassin? While stats may not be intensely significant, it seems like the 900+ strength the assassin gets from leveling to 200 actually is enough to make a notable difference.

You like farming Cursed Dragons for Dragonforging your shit, right? Clear BBI once and farm Duskmoon Tower 2.0. Cursed Dragons are the only carrion feeder that spawn there and if you're powerful enough you can have more than one spawn from one set of bait. Cursed Dragons have a super high Dforge chance.

If you don't know, then it's 60Hz. ENB is a mod. If you don't know what it is you aren't using it. Anisotropic filtering? That usually has a minor performance hit and games look horrible without it so keep it on. Probably the very last thing you want to turn down if everything else is already low.

If all else fails, cap your framerate at 30 so it doesn't stutter and you get a smooth 30 (hopefully)

Black cat items are actually pretty mediocre. They just have weird unique stats. Things start to really crank up after you reach like level 40~50. Once you beat the game and enter the post-game you're pretty strong. Once you finish the post-game and enter NG+ in order to do Bitterblack Isle DLC, you're really strong. Once you go through BBI once and gain a shitton of levels and good equipment upgrades, you're fucking unstoppable. Once you've beaten BBI a few times and fully upgraded your shit, you can 1-shot gigantic gorecyclopes with tenfold flurry, periapts, and blast arrows. BBI really turns the crazy dial up to 11.

This still works, neat. Walk towards the boat near the pier at BBI, jump at it, and attack just before you grab the ledge. You'll be able to explore and walk around on the floor.

Yes. It matters a lot. I assume you're at 1366x768 right? If your laptop happens to be a 1080p laptop (1920x1080) and that's your ingame res, try turning it down to 1366x768 for a decent boost. If you're ALREADY at 1366x768, lowering it won't help as much, but if you exhaust all other resources (textures, anisotropic, FXAA, etc) then lowering your res below 1366 is probably the last thing you can do. Even though there isn't a huge performance increase by lowering beyond 1366, it's still an existing increase.

I would suggest a melee MK. Use your shield for ele enchants (MK can get every enchant in the game) and put burst strike/sky dance/compass slash on your mace/sword.

At that point you have overpowered BBI equipment fully upgraded so you can play any class, yes. Though you really shouldn't count 100~200 levels for stats because those levels go fairly slow and have slow progression.

Regardless of how often people want to believe otherwise, Warrior gets trashed. He's just lacking enormous utility. 3 skills, can't do jack shit if climbing monsters (and there are a LOT of climbable monsters), no ranged attacks, slow ass nigga, not nearly POWERFUL enough to justify his speed at this point. Every other class is viable, though having curatives with you and bringing only sorcerers and no mages that heal/cleanse is better so mages are generally forgotten too, though not totally useless.

The most top tier classes are Ranger, Sorceror, and Magick Archer. Mystic Knight aiite too. Assassins and Striders can absolutely wreck shit as well but need more setup time to climb. So can Ranger mind you, but Ranger can just tenfold with blast arrows for exponentially more damage potential.

strider 1-10 then either ranger 10-200 or a mix of assassin and sorcerer.

just play what you fucking what, it does not matter in the slightest. you could play 6 full playthroughs and not hit level 200.

only thing I would suggest is grabbing some good augments like sinew. if you really want to be somewhat optimal level warrior to 9 and sorcerer to 9 and get clout/proficiency and the level 9 sorcerer +20% magick damage augment (can't remember it's name)

Yes it's true. People claim warrior is still legit at this point because of he can cancel or something like that, but let's be honest, this isn't a PvP game. It's PvE. No sort of refined technique like that is going to matter when fighting gorecyclopes and dragons.

Try out warrior for yourself. You should level him to rank 9 for the excellent augment, and very decent HP and STR stat gains. He's OK but you can clearly see how he will become outclassed as the game progresses into BBI

minmax mostly for health. By the time you reach hard BBI 3rd run dragons be 2 shotting you easily unless you got some serious health and defense. Also it's not so much minmax as it is avoiding stupidity like raising 40 mage/sorc levels when you want to be a ranger.

Does anyone else have a problem where their secondary skill keybind overwrites their primary skill keybind whenever they open the game? I have to reset it every time and it's annoying
