Stop posting screen caps from that shitty game.
Do you think multiplayer will have a larger playerbase in XCOM 2 now that maps are random and there's a better selection of unique units to command?
You can just filter me you know.
Took the pistol because better crit damage with headshots compared to the rifle.
Plus this map has a lot of bullets but little energy clips lying around. So I guess I should stick with human weaponry for now.
Looks like the Sleepwalker bug hit New Mexico pretty hard too.
For me and everyone of us he will always be a Big Sky.
Well, this backpack should be my next piece of gear.
Not sure, you're gonna have to ask /k/ for that.
It's a simple, reliable handgun with decent stopping power that has stood the test of time since World War I. It's no longer standard issue for most standard military forces, but it's still the preferred side arm of special forces the world over. Even the Chinese use it, and they'd rather shoot themselves than use American hardware under normal circumstances.
DeSilva decides to suddenly broadcast to us on an open channel where his location is. Needless to say, the aliens mount an assault.
Being the tactical genius that he is, he rigged a few cars to blow as soon as the aliens took cover behind them.
And guess who's about to mount a rear attack on the Outsider chucklefucks?
I guess it......unlocks your character's potential?
Yeah. Fucking hell.
>>Took the pistol because better crit damage with headshots compared to the rifle.
Interesting thing to know.
The rifle is better for close-medium range encounters and if you like to blindfire from behind cover, but I prefer the pistol because you have plenty of abilities at your disposal around Level 4 that disable enemies.
Here a friendly blob is arm-raping an Outsider. Unfortunately I couldn't get a clear shot.
Oh DaSilva you poor bastard. He's managing to resist for the time being.
Here we fucking go again.
Don't forget that Sectopods are selectable units now.
It probably won't be viable due to the scaling cost of specific units, but it'd be pretty fun shitting on another player with ED-209's bastard child.
New enemy: Tech Commander
While in the cutscene this motherfucker is able to summon cover and turrets, during the shootout he repairs that laser turret.
I'd rather deal with the Shield Commander.
>reaction shot hits when i don't want it to hit
>pistol crits when i don't want it to crit
>two 60% shots miss but a 24% shot hits
i am amazed
I thought doing the tutorial gave a bonus for something or some shit? I forget.
Well shit, so I should just restart right?
I played XCOM EU last year, and only recently got EW.
So now since I am restarting I should pick either Europe or Africa?
Not sure which will save me more money.
Whatcha think anons?
DaSilva has also sprinkled his demo traps around the place, so any unlucky ayys who decide to cluster in one spot can get blown to bits.
A muton with shredded armor is a useless hunk of meat.
With a fuckhuge scatter laser but still vulnerable regardless.
They sort of hinted at that with XCOM 2, it seems.
Yeah, the Meld research file refers to the Bureau but that's about it.
The Bureau, on the other hand, blatantly shows that it evolves into EU/EW's XCOM after they redact everything and destroy all their own research progress.
Fuck you faggot, I'll shitpost in my way.
There is a throwaway sentence about some 60's era research and that's it. Which is good since the game was a bland and boring mess.
2K just really likes leaving around random tape recordings in their video games do they?
Radio station DJ was telling everyone listening on the frequency to stay the fuck away. She's infected, but not sure where she is.
Nico originally planned to assist in the assault by blowing the shit out of the ayys as a suicide bomber. Being the ME Paragon lover that I am, I convinced him to evac out of their and help find a cure as a test subject before succumbing to the Sleepwalker bug.
According to Nico, trying to resist the sleepwalker bug is like trying to resist sleep. Except he feels like he's been awake for an entire week.
Of course, that makes things harder for my team but seeing how fucking hardcore they are I think they can smoke the ayys.
Ran through a few sleepwalkers who have degenerated to the point of knowing only to fucking groan.
Then suddenly towers spring up out of the ground. Holy shit.
>rarely genetically modify because afraid i'll get alerts while they're out
>miss so many chances of modifying and having no alerts
>finally decide to upgrade one of my main soldiers
>UFO crash has been sighted
Fucking love using Taunt on snipers.
"Hey over here asshole!"
"Look this way you dumb bastard!"
Said target will always walk out of cover in a fit of rage.
Fucking forgot pic.
But anyway the tower spire guards are distracted and we can make our way in with relatively less resistance.
Fucking missed a quick event where an Outsider executes a Sectoid for some reason.
Also that little sectoid falling off the roof
>XCOM 2 will feature a self-learning AI-module. The game does feature self-adjusting difficulty, where player performances influences the Alien zeal to expand and infest. Sluggish XCOM responses, total failures, and a bad weekly rating slow the alien build-up of weapons and creatures (but not ships) on their home continent. This gives the player the chance to amend their failures and rethink their strategy. For example, a high rating in first five days can make the Aliens attack your HQ head-on with a large heavily armed mob often. Conversely, a low rating in the first five days can make the aliens only incur twice a week, with a very small force.
Blaster Launcher OP. 2-shots a Sectopod
Also Engineers are fucking useless until they reach Rank 4 in this game. Shotguns and Scatter Lasers have shit range, but for some reason Engies seem to have a lot of trouble taking cover. Sure they can flush enemies out of cover with Scatter and Mine areas, but they need to get close and the enemies just love to shoot engies.
At least Lamb here can deploy turrets now.
I can't wait to have a ton of /xcg/ soldiers in my barracks.
How about we all make packs of soldiers with certain themes, for sharing? I was thinking of doing one for all the presidents of the US, or a ton of military generals.
Before anyone falls for it, this is 90% copypasted text from the XCOM: Apocalypse Wikipedia page. Check the "Gameplay" section.
Damn shame this can't be a real thing, maybe if we get an LW-tier mod.
All these Sleepwalkers of Pima are slowly making their way to elevators that take them into the towers. Not sure why, but that's what we're here to find out.
Dr. Weir comes down in combat gear. Carter asks if he has to babysit the Aussie and Weir states that he served with the 9th during the liberation of Borneo in the Pacific.
Actually we know dynamic difficulty is in 2 in some form, in the battlescape at least.
>Tactical mission difficulty is a combination of:
>Enemy stats, group sizes, and composition (collectively, the Intensity level);
>The XCom squad's stats, gear, skills, and composition; and
>The unique configuration of map environment and mission objective requirements.
>Enemy Intensity levels will dynamically change throughout a campaign based on various factors. The user selected 'Rookie' difficulty will experience Intensity levels 1-5 through their campaign; 'Legend' difficulty requires players to compete against Intensity levels that range from 3-7. (It's worth noting that the highest Intensity level I've seen on streams thus far was Intensity level 4.)
Winter levels, hearing crunching snow under heavy boots.
So infected humans transition to sleepwalkers after Mosaic burns out their minds. Human brains can only receive commands and signals for a limited amount of time before failing.
Slums. What I've seen so far already looks like the best kind - run-down ruins of the old civilization with odd bits of ADVENT technology trickling down from the cities.
Also, fond memories of stun grapple raids in Apoc.
Weir finds a terminal with which to interface with Mosaic. We have to defend him.
My blob eats a sectoid.
Now we got to find out what's happening to the sleepwalkers.
Reminds me of that facility in Quake.
Hah. The Pima Police Force (well, what's left of them anyways) made it further into the alien base than DeSilva's squad ever did.
>its rounded up from 99.9% and misses
>100% to hit
>100% to crit
>Bring Em On
No clue as of yet, but damn this design reminds me of the UFO interiors and alien bases.
Well, at least we know one thing is for certain.. The Sleepwalkers are getting shipped out of this world....literally.
The police force managed to make it halfway up the tower and found out the things I found out.
But I think this is as far as they went. Their commanding officer succumbed to the Sleepwalker virus and the rest were picked off by the ayys.
For a bunch of guys with only basic ballistic weapons, that's pretty good.
I'd like for this environment to show up in XCOM 2.
Hacking Advent turrets is going to be fun as fuck.
Seriously? Holy shit, I'm hyped.
I look forward to slums and suburbs, with indoor areas and elevation differences.
At level 4 Commandos can gain either a personal shield or an incendiary plasma grenade. The latter works so well on stunned mutons.
Alright, this looks really cool.
That's a ship warping in.
Oh hey. We just need to grab this an--
You can't throw C4 in Xenonauts.
You activate it and drop it on the ground to breach doors and such from a safe distance, usually. If you knew the AI well you could presumably bait them into it somewhat, but bleh. There were a few mods that increased the destructibility of alien craft which would have been useful (but I never used it).
MOTHERFUCK WHAT'S GOING ON
How long do you think EXALT lasted after the aliens took over? Did they just drop a bunch of aliens on top of the building, or did they get ADVENT to burst through the windows and go SWAT on their asses?
Guys, i need your help. For tens years I've known my friend, through thick and thin. He's had my back when i got bullied, i was there for him when his girlfriend broke up with him and needed a place to stay, we've laughed, cried, and mourned together. After the invasion came around, he and his immediate family got swept up in some odd circles. See we come from different backgrounds, he's from a rich family with lots of political ties, while my family is mostly middle class due to my dad working as an accountant and my mother being an archaeologist. How they met is another story, but i digress.
My friend is an ADVENT sympathizer, and I need to bring him over to our side. Not only would he be a valuable asset to the resistance, I can't stand him being used like this, it's shit. I'm pretty sure he's just being blackmailed or threatened, what the fuck do i do?
This is totally like an outsider pod fight.
So I'm the Prisoner and not the Volunteer? Suck a dick.
If you're heavily modifying soldiers: Rank the replacement up to a decent point, then mod them before you use them as the replacement of your main soldier.
Generally though in LW, it was better to only modify soldiers that needed second heart for will/life protection. The other mods were for building that second generation of super soldiers in the deep late game, cause you're balling in meld.
I don't like discs.
Hopefully there's a special mission where you get to fight in
a skyscraper or very high place. Pic related.
I'm having a similar dilemma to yours. My brother is an ADVENT sympathizer and he plans on being part of the research team for the AVATAR project. I'm going to tell him the truth behind the AVATAR project and I suggest you do the same. If you can convince him to join some sort of resistance group, I heard about this one group called XCOM or something like that, I plan on joining it. Wish me luck
Here I thought I'd long forgotten this. Damn it, anon.
You will take damage if it targets you. The only thing you can do is to not take a direct hit. It will melt the cover you're hiding behind and inflict burning damage afterwards.
The Titan is probably what's left of the generic monolith/blob enemies back when the Bureau was an investigative game.
Also Engineers can't target the damn thing because their weapons are too short-ranged.
Fortunately I had a blaster launcher to even out the score.
>William T. "Total War" Sherman
>Always gives him flamethrowers
>overgrown towns, retaken by nature.
Mah nigga. Those, and snow maps, are what I'm looking forward to the most.
Guys I don't have much time, My name is [CENSORED BY SECURITY POLICY 119] and I work at [CENSORED BY SECURITY POLICY 1] and the people need to know about what the [REDACTED] project. ADVENT plans on creating [CENSORED BY SECURITY POLICY 2]
>that casualty rate.
Everything by the numbers.
>Bureau was an investigative game.
It was supposed to be an investigative game at some point?
Would you have slowly uncovered alien activity in the US or were you an agent searching among regular people for hidden aliens?
Does anyone know how much damage reduction does Mind Merge give you? UFOpaedia only says it gives damage reduction, period.
I take it that it depends on the casters will, but whats the formula?
So upon our return to base Director Faulke implements a new audio-based screening test that can distinguish infiltrators from humans.
Ayys will groan in pain from the wavelengths, but normal humans will be fine.
Guess who starts groaning in pain?
that commando's face though
Well, that was a long mission. Time to take a break. Good night /xcg/.
Being stone masons, I'd imagine that Exalt are behind the architecture of the city centers even if they weren't directly cooperating with or toppled by the aliens.
>They aren't dead.
Yeah, the very first trailer has you leading some agents to figure out oddities happening in a neighborhood. Then it gets worse from there.
Then they remade everything.
I've played through it once, and I only remember that twist. Playing through it again and actually paying attention to the story....I find it quite likable.
after like two weeks straight of play, i finally beat this tonight
... with a 35% accuracy plasma pistol shot while my mec was mind controlled and about to kill me the next turn. c/i difficulty with nce/hp
p good for 8 dollars
no im planning on killing myself on the 29th when i visit my gf's family for dinner
quit my job and am basically being a huge piece of shit waiting for dinner so i can do it in front of her father/brother
>so i can do it in front of her father/brother
you're a fucking liar and a coward
you don't have the balls to do that, stop being an edgy faggot
Against unweakened singletargets, yes.
But with a stealth ranger it will be an absolute blast:
>Sniper on high ground, with scope and expanded magazine not to far away
>Ranger move in, found a pod with 3 aliens.
>Sniper use "Kill Zone" over them.
>Enemy turn starts, pod move.... and sniper shot with 3 shots at them.
>Aliens run toward the sniper, end their turn,
>Sniper activate "Serial" and finish them off.
>Reload after that, because of "Death from Above"
It's now important to be not that far away anymore. Shooting over the whole map is bad now, but stay closer to the team make the sniper a very good class.
Disapointed that the animation isn't actually fan firing. I'm pretty sure animation mods will eventually come up to make most of the skills unique.
>Return fire has the Gunslinger shooting out of dodge/damage animation
>Lighting hands and quick draw can keep the default animation
>Faceoff has him doing Gun Kata shit
>Fanfire needs to be actually fanfiring
Yeah, LW's way harder so you'll want to start on Normal.
Do you really think people won't go back? Until XCOM 2's equivalent becomes as good as LW, possibly even after, there will still be a lot of people playing it.
I like how because of that one webm, Beagle singlehandedly turned ISIScom into VietCOM.
for aint no cavalry coming do i have to use the first unit you get for EVERY mission without them dying or let them live every mission since the first?
how could it be every mission if they get injured?
Anyway, I thought about some skills for a future LW gunslinger class. I assume that they will make pistol ammo limited and make them low damage (3/4 damage of rifle), High crit chance weapons and the Class itself highly mobile. 6 shot mags but doesn't benefit from ammo mods
so carrying multiple pistols is recommended
>Dashing into cover automatically fires a free shot at every flank target. 3 Turn Cooldown
>Animation is the classic slowmo dive while firing
>Fires a shot that ignores cover and guarantees a crit with extra damage. Remove user cover bonus as well for that turn so use it as a finisher. 3 Turn Cooldown
>Animation is a western duel, soldier stares at the target with a western sound cue then firing
>Grant a free reload to pistols and autoloaders from weapon mods will affect pistols. Passive
>An enhanced overwatch that guarantees ONE shot against any target that moves. Basically a 360 version of Killzone but you can only shoot everything once and only when they move. Best used on pod discovery. 3 Turn cooldown
>Animation has the soldier lowering his hat like a cowboy
>Reduce encumbrance from carrying multiple pistols. Remember since ammo is limited, a gunslinger would like to carry multiple pistols, removing their weight turns them into saniacs with a shit ton of pistols at the cost of some grenades etc.
>Doubles the crit bonus from Flanking and Exposed aliens
Shit, I just realized I need an ACW perk for Opportunist to crit on Overwatch. Or is that too overpowered?
Turn all your critically wounded soldiers into MECs.
They robocop now.
So soldiers that recovered from Shaken will get a will bonus. I think it's only a one-time bonus but it means that Psi gods will have to be repeatedly shot up like Wolverine for their training if it's not.
Somehow, the Faceless', well, face, makes me think they'd sound like Droopy if they could talk.
>this shit happens while two of my best soldiers are out
>wounded solider forces himself out of the medbay, wounded and in pain
>grabs a pistol and rushes to combat
>wounded and under prepared the solider serves XCOM to preserve the dream of a better future
That's not a reference to the UFO, that's a common term used in fighter maneuvers.
"Aircraft turn in circular motions, following a circumference around a central point. The circumference is often referred to as the "bubble," while the central point is often called the "post.""
sponsored by gamerfuel mt. dew and jalapenos dorritos
>panic is replaced with FUCKING ROOKIES
god damn i love this mod
Holy shit I can see it now.
>successfully eliminated objective
>falling back to extraction point
>get surrounded by ayys
>soldiers pinned down
>Gunslinger goes full Faceoff mode
you have to get a really fucking shitty tattoo
Here use this nice picture next time ;)
But "No Russian." Is good. I'm a moralfag though, so I never shot anyone
can i load up the recent save and hope it doesn't roll a base assault or do i have to hope RNG doesn't fuck me over next time?
Why would it need to be bigger for this case? Also this isn't my oc so I can't take credit for it. The original was bigger
I'm afraid your going to have to git gud anon.
THE MIND CONTROL WORE OFF JUST IN TIME TO KILL THE INCOMING FATASS AND THEN SAMUS FLANKED THE COMMANDER AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHY THE MEC DIED
feels good man
So far, so good. The key to getting an early advantage certainly seems to be to use sniper MECs. I'm popping thin men, floaters, and sectoids in a single shot even when they're in light cover with hit chances hovering around 90%. Rest of my guys aren't getting much experience though, and wind up being relegated to grenading cover so the MECs can have their 100% hit chances. Also, that Kinetic Strike Module is hilarious against Chrysilids, one hit instant kill against them or zombies and my MECs usually have the movement range to hit them first, or at least pull far enough back that they can't reach me in one turn.
Geoscape has been good to me this game as well. I had Japan, Australia, and India in full panic, then got my first terror mission in Sydney, which dropped two points of terror all across Asia. I've got three more satellites ready this month, so hopefully there's no major issues between now and month four so I can lock down 3 of 5 of the continents.
LW is actually easier in a few expects compared to vanilla
Yes LW is hard, but the point was to make it fair and hard, and some things in vanilla just weren't as easy as there
There is some retarded bullshit in LW tho, like the awful arc thrower chance change
How do I make soldiers start with the correct voices in LW? I like the voicepacks but everyone starts with English (American) and going through all the russian guys to switch them over seems like it shouldn't be necessary.
The ending is fucking retarded.
Hey, how many times has Carter said he doesn't like taking orders? Remember how little he says stuff like that and it makes everything even stupider.
Yeah but the way the twist happens is retarded.
What's also retarded is that they kept yelling at you to capture mosaic but then they just kill him and nobody cares about him anymore because you got the special alium.
The way it happens is awesome
It's a great twist and explains why Carter is such a badass throughout the game when everyone knows he's a deadbeat drunk with no self control
>Carter we just captured this alien that could stop the entire war!
>I don't care, this thing has been helping me the entire time and been nothing but useful!
>I'm going to shoot it!
>Oops that knocked out all of the power and now all the aliens we've captured are running around.
>Better tell this alien that's helped me through everything to fuck off or I'll bomb the entire facility and doom humanity!
It's fucking retarded.
How is it retarded?
Carter is unstable as fuck and the alien wasn't "helping" him, it was fucking controlling him the whole time
Why would he like that?
He says to him in a cutscene
>I lost everything, but one thing you won't take away from me is myself
He's pissed for a good reason, being made a literal puppet of some alien thingy
>it was fucking controlling him the whole time
They were one entity you retard, the alien thought it was Carter because it couldn't tell the difference between them, it didn't fucking know it was an alien. Carter made every decision and was at no point being controlled by it.
>Carter made every decision and was at no point being controlled by it.
But that's wrong. You, the player controlling Carter are the alien. You always were.
You have fundamentally misunderstood the story.
>The alien didn't know what it was, but that doesn't mean it wasn't controlling Carter
Yes it does, how can you unconsciously control someone?
Because the story is fucking dumb. I wish we got the game shown in the demo's before everyone flipped their shit.
>Carter might be a dumbass
He's not a dumbass per se but the original Carter is just a horrible human being. He's an alcoholic, he has a temper and he's mentally unstable.
The Fridge Logic lies is noticing later that Alium Carter is much nice person than Real Carter, but it's really subtle and your only exposure to real carter is through profiles of him lying around as easter eggs.
Alright then smart guy you explain it!
Because I haven't played that game in ages so I've been arguing about things I barely remember and I'm starting to feel silly. The Sectoids in that game were cute though, I remember that.
So I don't get it. If the tutorial is rescuing the commander, then why do you still have to do that jihad mission at the start?
Also, I get a sneaking suspicion that despite being one of the coolest mission types, bombing the statue is the only one of its kind in the game?
Yes, the house fire was the beginning of his downward spiral.
That's the full cutscene there's some cool stuff to see
It's not in English but it's not a huge deal
The twist is probably gonna be that you're been under mind control of the Etheral the whole time, that's my guess
I'm kinda confused on the mission types
There's still not one recording of an assassination mission that they mentioned
as in LSD or as in acid grenades/rounds?
What is this, a picture for ants?
Would the original creator of this step forward with a .psd file? I have a few OP pic ideas and find it hard to edit into anything with a white background for example.
I think assassination just covers the Dark VIP missions, where you can either kill them or extract them for a small bonus.
Don't see why you'd ever not kill them, maybe if they moved, yeah, you could have a situation where they could escape and you'd have to take a shot. Might be a neat challenge to try and hold concealment as long as possible, even though it would mean boxing you in some place.
People who say waiting for enemies to walk into your ambush are so fucking retarded
The game allows for that, you're not installing cheats it's how the game plays out
>Why you exploit the game?
It's not an exploit, and why not use a tactic that can kill shit?
Are you supposed to go easy on the aliens for some reason?
I hope that there will be mods to flesh out a stealth-based approach, like giving XP for breaking concealment on the objective or beating the mission without triggering a pod.
>>Checking the previous thread to see if something got posted past the bump lim-
>>Not at the bump limit yet mate, and with the deleted posts, it'll take a longer time.
B-But when I made this thread it was already past the bump limit!
That previous thread went nuts indeed.
Here's my little theory, the AVATAR project is you
Maybe you were the shell for it and they planned to use your body or mind to hose a completely new kind of alien being
>being a stealth fag
You're shit literally boils down to what you define as an exploit, an oversight, and a tactic.
Personally I think it's fine, it's not even an oversight since the game tells you enemies will be predictable,
I mean I get the argument that you display a lack of skill by defeating enemies not by learning threat assessment and appropriate tactics, but instead by metagame info, like map layout and pod placement,
but it really doesn't apply here since, as we said this kinda shit was explicitly stated.
I won't argue semantics, I just think it's bullshit that people can think trying out a tactic and it working, using the mechanics of the game is an awful exploit
Like fuck you
Long war became shit when it became about using only the optimal everything, that's boring
A game, especially a game like XCOM should have shit like that, that's what makes strategy fun, figuring out a tactic and using it for an advantage
Because apparently not playing the game like it's an exam with only 1 right answer is like hacking
I wondered that myself
Several european streamers who got access to the preview apparently dgaf about the nda they signed with 2k and put all the story stuff up. other youtubers decided to cash in on that content by putting it on their channel. The clip is originally from VG247 italy.
>tfw i just realised when UFO runs away from your aircraft in LW "No Joy" pops up when he returns to base
packmaster won't give an engineer with fire rocket an extra shot would it
How horrible..I wanted to make this 70 rookie aim engineer into a fire rocket guy..
You can make use of a fire rocket engineer though, equipping shredder ammo onto him will give his rocket the shredder property as well. Having rockets that blow up cover and shred the ayys at the same time can save you a rocket.
>XCOM needs more traps commander.
>>Traps? Okay Bradford let's head to Thailand then.
>Huh? Why there I don't think they're known for producing effective traps...
>>Sure they are Bradford, I saw it on the internet a bunch.
>Commander our traps have arrived but I don't understand this, why are they being processed through the personnel center shouldn't that be R&D?
>>You went to make traps Bradford? Okay we can do that
>Uh commander where are those trap schematics? It's been ages since you initiated the project. Also why are all our recruits receiving facial reconstruction and hormone therapy... I'm not quite sure I understand your methods.
>>Ohh you wanted traps not "traps". Well no harm done.
I have never understood the background on this image.
I just like Reapers.
In my opinion it should be a fire extinguisher not a chair.
I'll never understand why Firaxis put in the effort of giving EXALT their own laser weapons, only to stop there. They could have made some awesome plasma weapons for the salty eggs.
Does anyone know what happens if you blow up the whale bits?
Do they even blow up?
I only blew up the front one, my heavy was the only one with opportunist so I wasn't risking it.
Grenade got the closer one and I'm not sure it did anything. At the least it clears up some LOS for overwatch traps and I felt like there was slightly less spawn ins than when I did it last time in LW, but who knows if Lump increases spawns or if killing baby Lids is just so fun I lost track of turns.
It's weird you can blow them up since they aren't even usable cover.
It's a "Is this worth spending the effort on" moment. If they had gone to all the trouble of coding and modeling a whole new set of gear, they would have just put them in the natural progression.
Or maybe Exalt most Elite troopers equipped with Plasma weaponry and a Commander/Leader Exalt with psi powers with full gene mods and plasma.
That'd be neat but one can only dream...
XCOM dreams? I had one.
>be me 2 years ago
>woken up by a loud noise
>exit my room and look around
>fall to the hardwood floor on my hip
>three Ethereals standing over me
>one of them reaches out to touch me
>know if it does it will be very bad for me
>this can't be real, has to be a dream
>its hand gets closer, almost touching me now
>wake up, wake up, WAKE UP
>lurch upward in my bed, tear the covers off, swearing profusely
>"Jesus christ, that was fucked up, I never have nightmares"
>have a drink, settle down, manage to get back to sleep
>wake up the next morning, getting ready for work
>go to put on pants
>fuckhuge bruise on my hip where I fell in the "dream"
>mfw I didn't wake up in time
Guys, am I a Faceless now?
Went back and dug through some archives since I didn't have the full sized pic.
"Fusion" is an ultimate technique in many fictional universes, which combines the attributes of great warriors to produce a power vastly superior to their base forms. Notable examples include the fusion of the saiyans Goku and Vegeta which they used to toss the nuggets of Buu, or the fusion of the two kryptonians, Superman and Doomsday, with the power of the coluan Brainiac, which gave them the power to heal the wounds in the fabric of reality with only their combined mind-power
>The current discussion right now
Snek tits diversionary package deployed.
How does it have our sniper "pinned" exactly?
Well he's dead now, you guys were too busy thinking about interspecies fun to save your own squaddie.
If only there was something we could've done, some research we overlooked.
Just asking. I see alot of people (who seem) ready to go mess with the game balance before they even get a feel for the game. Seems odd.
A reasonable question. But what was the answer?
I live near the ADVENT church in the deep interior of nigeria. They came into a firefight with advent, advent decided to use my house for cover and then the insurgents fucking blew it up using three grenade launchers, miniguns, rifles, incendiary grenades and shotguns with fire rounds.
After they blew my house up and killed all the advent troopers leaving nothing but a mess of blood, meat and dust, one of the insurgents tried to high-five me and told me to join sex-com or something.
"I'm an Ethereal, I ain't gotta explain shit" I'm guessing.
Sorry to disappoint you anon but that's a gril.
The ADVENT Officers seem more Capable
Capable=fucking dead* translators note
>september, large landed UFO
>barely got enough lasers to equip my squad
>starved on ayyloys, decided to give it a go
>it's a abductor, easy money
>so far killed 14 stalkers and 4 sectoids
And i was afraid of squad wipe, good that i have 2 rockets as a backup for Outsiders.
