I have them on me. In fact I have a lot of stuff on me right now. We raided the shit out of their base. I just ended up taking more radiation than bleed along the way, so I decided to put the vodka in the slot.

On a separate note, didn't know traders don't give a shit about their comrades. I tried to put a bullet in his head to make off with his loot, but I guess that would be broken, hence their neutral stance. I just pretended to hold him up at gun point while I bought his tool kit. I'm sure our technician will enjoy it.

Uh, if you are talking about my Radios Galore mod, then not really, no. Old School Factions Playlists has a somewhat (not really) completed track list, but i have nothing of the sort.
Download Radios Galore if you havent, I increased the range and attenuation for songs, so it should help somewhat, goes from 80% to maybe about 35-45% (you cant do a whole lot better than that without making the max distance insane, and im talking probably 100-125 meters that you can still hear it, but the falloff would be from probably 25-30% to nothing.)

Believe it or not, I'm really early game right now. As in I did the Nimble quest, then said "Fuck it time to bring glory to Clear Sky." I left with only a pistol, a couple of medkits, and a few bandages. I only have one anti-rad out of the two I collected so far, so I'm saving it for a serious radiation related emergency. I'll get to fixing my loadout once I dump all my stuff back at base.

not to shill my mod or anything, but you could just download Radios Galore cause they give more places radios will spawn (and play music), along with Old School Faction Addon, they also include all of those original songs i just gave you (I think vanilla CoC's radios are actually built off of a small part of Old School Factions), that and i also take requests for songs, or even for new locations for radios as long as its not something completely rediculous (like Turn Down for What or MLG airhorn remix), to do that just send me a youtube link and what factions you think it suits (i might add it in more places, due to my personal preference)

What an eventful day for Clear Sky. We helped Loners fend off mutants, snuck milfags, had a drink at the Bar, and finally we took care of Freedumb and carried off a good amount of weapons and supplies. While all that was happening, the boys back home fended off some milfags coming from Aprogrom, and the Loners took over Garage. I came back and found the Loners decided to crash with Clear Sky. Weird, but we were short-staffed anyways, so the extra help is nice.

By the way: how do I stop NPCs from following me? Ponocchio's my boy and all, but fuck man he can take a break already. I told him I'm on my own now, but he won't stop following me. Help.

I added that one in. you also need to do both. Get a commented mono .ogg of the song you want put it in gamedata\sounds\radio then copy the file name of the song you want, put a radio\ behind it, and put it in the appopriate radio (theyre named after their smart terrain, so mercs for example are [cit_killers_smart_logic_radio]), you need an SDK to make properly commented .oggs, so id reccomend you just send it to me. Now, if you want to add a song thats already been added, say Aria - Will and Mind to Sid's radio, then just put Aria - Will and Mind (This is not what its called by the game), under [esc_sidrovich_radio].

I'll also get that back to you in about 10 minutes.

I haven't found any in the latest version aside from some starting loadouts having weapon and ammo mismatches. The initial release of AO3 is definitely a bit rough and had issues like rifles turning pink when attached with a scope but it has gotten plenty of feedback and resulting bugfixes since then.

I played it for 6 hours, and nothing fun happened. Just some back and forth waiting for dumb bandits to try and take over the garbage but never ever doing it and getting driven out by the militaries.

Got done with it, so I'm going to take a break.

The mod's still installed however, if someone can give me a few advices to spice things up.

Anyway, once you spawn, go back into the menu and you'll have an optional (extra) menu tab under the AF3 menu tab. If you'll head into there, you'll see loads of config lines you can change on the fly. The readme states what exactly does what, so inspect it and change the values accordingly.

For example, I'm running around with a few stalker buddies against hordes and hordes of enemies constantly attacking my bases. I've not had a single moment of "relaxation" in my game. This + fast body removal and bigger squads / faster spawns

I've recently started the Shadow of Chernobyl, and was hoping i could get some advice here.

I've just entered "the garbage" and fought off those bandits that attacked the area. During this i realised i have hardly any ammo, and no good weapons.

So I looked around for those purple markers on the map that say stuff like "dropped a backpack here" or something. I'm hoping i could find a decent weapon or ammo over here. The problem is that 2 of these markers i've went to had a shit ton of radiation, and i don't have any gear to resist that, and the other ones i've gone to either contain nothing, or an artifact which adds radiation.

To keep it short, I have really shit weapons. Can someone point me in the right direction of where to go so i can gear up? All the markers or potential places i tried have had nothing good so far.

Also can i get some very general tips? I've read the ones in the OP.

There's a tower to the right as you enter the area where you met Bes, behind the guard's booth. Stand below and look up at where the broken ladder hits the top. Shoot the 2 boxes you see up there.

The last truck on the right at the end of that same car graveyard has a silencer in a metal box hidden in it. It's a closed truck, jump in and search near the door. Stick it on an mp5 and use all that ammo you freed from the tower.

Go back to the Cordon and hit up all the stashes (the purple icons). There are a couple that contain radiation decreasing artifacts and you may have gotten one if you're lucky.

The best rad reduction artifact in the game is lying around in the Agropom Underground. Don't leave that place if you haven't found an Urchin artifact.

Those boxes are always empty. There's a metal box with slug ammo in it on a beam above you in that attic though. Shoot it to get the ammo.

Another cool metal box is reachable by jumping on the tanker truck near the soldiers by the railway bridge, then jumping onto the roof and looking around. This one's contents will drop through into the building below, but you'll get plenty of 5.45 ammo and a silencer.

Look at the stay requirement. Remember that you can lower the maximum stay requirement in the warfare option to a lower value if you find that some places needs too much people to be captured.
Personally, I would prefer that one person is sufficient to take a base, but all the squad that spawn from it bolster its defense until it is to the maximum.

If you're talking about the size of Audacity versus the SDK, the SDK (or at least the one i use) is only 700MB, and if you mean the file size is smaller, thats becuase the quality is defaulted to like, zero, which means it will sound much worse than at a quality of one (which is what i normally put mine at, maybe smaller if its a long track). If it gets to 800MB+, then ill probably just reduce the quality by 1/3 or so for all songs to reduce the size.

AIMP's included audio converter. Works like a charm. You can force a target frequency as well as channels, its encoder is magnificent.

I made a v1.2 of TKGP's RO2 death barks add-on for CoC. Also works with the rest of the STALKER games.

>Simply put, this takes the death cries from Red Orchestra 2 and uses them for the "heavily wounded" (lying on the ground) state. Factions have 22 different randomly-assigned sounds to choose from. Each faction has their distribution of sound types weighted a little one way or another, but I won't bore you with the details here.

The sounds also play when stalkers die.

v1.2:

Anyways, I'm mainly posting about what I noticed fro my time crossboarding and in other generals. I assume it might be from obnoxious FotM shows like Umaru; that stuff was getting posted a lot from what I saw.

I don't rage over reaction images, but every thread I've seen get invaded has had it's attitude change in a manner that killed legitimate discussion, so even when they've had their fun and moved on the general ends up crippled compared to the way it used to be. I love it's bullshittingly hard difficulty early game, when shotguns can one shot you and you can one shot enemies vice versa. Loved how for the first few hours of the game you have to scrape by selling anything and everything, sometimes even for simple stuff like more medkits and bandages. I absolutely cannot fathom having to walk because I'm afraid if I run to fast I may accidentally freeze the game; or I have to wait a bit before I talk to someone because I might freeze the game; or I have to save constantly because I might freeze the game; OR HOW MY OPTIONS KEEP RESETTING WHEN I LOAD OR QUIT AND I HAVE TO GO AND FUCKING CHANGE THEM AGAIN.

No. You are making mistakes, stalker.

First of all - yes, repairing is expensive as fuck in Misery. It's exponentional, meaning that if you go from 80% to 70% durability the price may double (don't know exact values). This isn't a hard concept to grasp. Look at the prices of a new gun. Does the new gun cost less than repairing the old one? If yes, why would you repair it? You have to decide whether the current upgrades on the gun are worth the cost of repairing instead of just buying a new gun. If I recall correctly, a new FN FAL doesn't cost anywhere near 75k.

If you do decide to repair, make sure that you buy a repair kit for that gun instead of repairing it from scratch. Like I said before, 10% may be a double in price. This means if you spend 20k in a repair kit to repair a gun that would cost you 75k to repair, use that repair kit to gain 10%+ durability then you have saved a lot of money. Again, you have to be smart about it.

The repair kits don't work because if you actually read on them they will say that they are not useable below a certain percent. Your gun looks to be around 40% so you can buy a repair kit for that. They are expensive tho.

Money is the biggest issue in the beginning and it's what puts a lot of (dumb) people off. People who can't read and make decisions for themselves. "I want this gun so I will repair it" when an actual new gun will cost you less. That's why Misery is hated, because people here are fucking stupid and think that it is some sort of artificial difficulty when you just have to read and add 1+1.

Secondly, why the fuck do you want an FN FAL? Pick a gun where there's a bigger chance that you find ammo on bad guys. This means pick a 5.45x39 weapon. Period. Until you get enough money you are going to need every bullet and getting an extra 30 rounds from looting is worth a lot.

TL;DR
Buy a new gun instead of repairing.
Don't buy an FN FAL.

If you hit it and are within a 20m globe (three dee circle), it will hit you with 2 blasts proportional to your distance from it. That 20m radius is insane.

Latest AMK Autumn Edition has a menu option to reduce radius to 5m or disable the blasts. Or was it 2m, do not remember.

The AMK 1.4 code has commented out bits with lower radius and blast values, but 1.4.1 has no such internal doubts.

I like what it introduces, but it's basically a MMO-esque grindfest

going cheap is not a way to make the most out of the mod, it's the only way to play it. Until you reach a certain point, you absolutely have to do as the mod devs want because it's their VISION and you're railroaded through the game via artificial difficulty induced gear checks (instakill anomalies, instakill chem/heat/rad areas, gank zones with tons of high level mutant/tanky zombie spawns) that are literally impossible to beat unless you progress or cheese it in an unbearably game and immersion-breaking way

IMO, it's not what stalker is about. Some may like the grind, but many don't, and with reason.

OWR3 merged with AMK Ballistics makes a dynamite combination. OWR3 is simply a well-made weapon pack (though I am not a fan of the pistol sprinting animations) while AMK's gunplay gives the guns just the right amount of accuracy and damage (OWR3 by itself has rather weak weapon damage and too much accuracy). I think AMK also did something with the body part immunity of NPCs that makes them more vulnerable to headshots but sturdier everywhere else so shot placement is made more rewarding. I never get tired of sneaking up on bandits with the PB, getting a headshot and watching this slick reload animation.

This is a faction relations tweak for coc, specifically intended for use with warfare, although it can work with any other mod or with vanilla coc.

It changes a lot of merc and freedom relations and makes more factions (clear sky and freedom) hostile to ecologists.

Hey, AMK Autumn Edition already drops the bobbing effector values, see below. But if you dislike even this, just edit gamedata\config\misc\effectors.ltx and set all 3 values to 0.

Leave cam_inert at 0.7 unless it's really triggering you. AE includes the rulix shoot effects script that does camera-based recoil and cam_inert will mess with that. Up to you, of course, especially if monitor ghosting is making bobbing even worse than usual.

I halved the default effectors, but drop 'em further if you still think it too much:

You must be thinking of the later versions of PR where Alundaio-kun broke and disabled the radio scripts. The radios work fine in 1.01b. Put all the songs you want in the xr_sound.ltx in plugins folder. I modded in 20 songs for each base.
