i joined the downgrade train with the latest exploit on 3ds and i installed MHX, been enjoying it, no real complaints other than the graphics downgrade from 4U (let's chop the textures in third and add more particle effects rofl) but does anyone think the monsters in general just seem larger? fighting velocidromes and theyre as tall as my hunter, fighting cephadrome in village quest 2* and it fucking towers over me and i can barely reach its head with hammer, were the monsters always this big or am i just retarded?

The chance thing wouldn't really pan out because after awhile you'd just abandon quest if you see one because it's too much effort for what you need or you'd get fed up from restarting the same quest over and over to try and get an apex to appear.
