You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

The healing spring brings corpses back to life.
So for the 45 rabbit quest, is it possible to take the one rabbit to the spring and kill him 45 times?
haha oh god
How does someone even come up with such an idea?
If you're not playing on Hard Mode you've already let everyone down.
Jesus Christ, playing Mage is pure suffering.
I thought I'd switch vocations to give it a try before I start leaning too heavily towards the physical side of things to make it viable, but this shit is awful. Zero fucking mobility, get interrupted all the time, and the damage is awful.
Tell me it gets better and I shouldn't just be a Ranger all my life.
Yeah I've got a folder of a few I made back on PS3. Been wanting to remake them on PC but that'll come later I guess.
why does my two hander do absolute garbage compared to 1h+shield? i want to be gatsu but i don't want to swing 5 times to kill a goblin when it only takes 1 swing from a shitty rusty one handed sword
So for the Beholder or whatever his name was, I remember hearing like a year ago some sick strategy to beat him that I never got to try.
It was something about hitting himself with his own attack. I think making him whack himself with tentacles. Can anyone give any
insighton the eldritch being?
>This pawn walking brazenly into a goblin camp wearing nothing but a dress
She's asking for it
>Tfw died about 100 times already and have't even done grimoire yet
When you first start the game, you get to choose between online mode and offline mode. Does online actually work in the CODEX version?
Is anyone else getting this problem at nights? My lantern creates a weird circle of light all around my character, but its not actual light?
Idk how to describe it really...you can see it in the picture. Its almost as if in a circle around my character there is a circle of textures that are off. when I move they are misalined with all the other textures as well. Happens without the lantern as well but its more pronounced when its on.
Makes it really hard to make out anything at night. I know nights are supposed to be dark but this seems more like a texture/lighting problem or glitch...
Graphics are all at maximum
reposting in new thread
Further interesting facts: when hanging off a ledge, the camera will very slowly center itself.
I find this annoying.
Someone please convince not to make Mint the Muscleloli
I'm just playing. I'm getting sick of people asking, too
another picture. not as pronounced here but still annoying.
You can see it mainly in the sky but on my screen when i move it goes across the entire thing.
Give her a little more chin. That mouth is way too low. Everything else looks fine.
And tell me her name, I want to take her on adventures with Ghorzoth. I might even end up turning myself into an Orc later and making a full blown orc party.
Which isn't that much of a problem until lategame because you will have fuckall in terms of crystals and the pawns are fucking terrible compared to properly made ones.
Get the leak to see if it's any fun, then buy the game instead.
Her mouth needs to be further up, closer to her nose.
>go to rift
>lolis, lolis everywhere
Don't be one of those faggots.
I want to dual wield but would also like to use some of those awesome 500-shot magic archer moves. What's a good spread for my classes? Can I put a few levels into the magic archer then move back to ranger to focus more on my dual wielding while still using the magic arrow moves, or will moving back to ranger cut me off from my magic arrow moves? I apologize if I'm being an idiot, it's been a while since I played.
I'm not sure about the problem in this pic, but the lantern thing I believe to be caused by the texture for the lantern's light being upscaled, buffs and shit from mages do the same thing and it makes aiming a bow at night very hard. Then again I might be completely wrong about the cause
>never get hit
I mean, I'm a ranger, so I'm clearly being a shithead with my rolls, but even on my warrior, it wasn't exactly hard to dodge most of the big telegraphed attacks.
You can only use the moves of the class you are.
>What's a good spread for my classes?
Stop thinking you need to min-max. Just splash in some physical and Sorcerer levels in there and you'll be fine.
I'm making my pawn right now, and I've been reading. Is it really viable to make my pawn the same vocation as I am? I'm a fighter, but I'm really tempted to make him a strider so we have some ranged attacks in place for battle.
I prefer my pawns to be old enough to drive, sorry.
>Is it really viable
What do you mean, "is it viable"? You can literally solo the game if you want, it literally does not matter.
Pawns will tend to learn better if you're the same class and using the same skills as them, however.
I really want to try out every single class
Is there a drawback to playing every vocation at least to rank 5 or so? Don't care about min/max, I just don't want to end up in a spot where I basically fucked up so hard I have to restart
What you wanna do is just max out the rank for Warrior and Sorcerer, and maybe Fighter and Mage. Sprinkle some Ranger in there, too, for Stamina and, again, more useful augments. By the time you have all the augments you need, your stats will be hunky-dory.
Basically, >>128774046 is correct. Just get those augments.
>wander off to fight some Hobgoblins during the cart quest
>using Ensnare and then chucking them off the cliff for shits and giggles
>strider pawn I hired tries to skull splitter one of the ones I've chucked off into the ocean
>"no, they have the advantage!"
Sometimes I wonder how they learn this shit.
I'll leave it at this one. Gotta save one or two to make new threads with.
My game keeps reverting my controller keys to generic 1234 buttons
1 and 4 keep swapping for a millisecond when i touch the right stick
Is it better to have your pawn the same vocation as you so it learns more?
Also this is my pawn, I'm a strider, what vocation should she be?
>10 hour shift today but then get the next 3 days off
Any other week and I might be pissed that I wasn't getting enough hours but sometimes shift work is alright.
Hopefully rentals are fixed by the time I get home tonight.
A friend and I are using each other's pawns; if he updates his pawn by sleeping at an Inn, will my version of his pawn also update next time I sleep at an inn?
Or will I have to re-select his pawn in the rift?
I never minmax in games, I just wanted to see what would be worth sprinkling. Let me ask this, since it seems I'll need to stay a magic archer (forget if that's the right name) to use those crazy homing shots, would it be a good idea to do the following: Start game as fighter for a few strength points, switch to strider once I can and then ranger for my dex points or whatever, grind an hour or so for sorcerer to get some magic points then go magic archer all the way? I just want to swing my daggers like a madman and shoot a million arrows.
>Is it better to have your pawn the same vocation as you so it learns more?
Yes, at least for awhile until they've learned the tactics you want them to use.
Holy fuck, how many more times are people going to ask this question in the same thread?
If anyone is looking to hire Raiden, or just be friends consider friending me:
>shitposters deleting pawns
>shitposters replacing every picture with some poor anon's Dante pawn because they're still obsessed with some other anon who had the original
I fucking guarantee it's the same people too.
When I played this on PS3 I never went back to Cassardis after cutting off the Hydra's head. I feel like I missed the entire first part of the game. This explains why things felt so disconnected.
>Shield drum taunt a group of enemies and perfect defence while they are grouped around me.
>My pawn charges arc of deliverance and obliterates the group.
Holy fuck being melee with your pawn is a barrel of fun
>Try to find Into Free on youtube to get hyped
>Seems like the song has been nuked from orbit
I used to be able to find it just fine. Are they dmca'ing it to hide the fact that it's not in the game anymore?
true that, I was in the catacombs with a mage that knows fire and ice affinity. I shouted "help me!" to encourage his enchanting, and since he didn't know much about zombies he have me ice affinity.
He literally gave everyone except me fire affinity.
Do you know if there is a fix?
And if you look to the right of the image you can see the arcs in the sky texture. Not a very good picture but if I were to move the camera they would stay and just disrupt any texture they move over.
Getting group shots is harder than I had anticipated. Mod to remove spell syncing circles when? Once you know where they are the circles just get in the way of screenshots.
I don't even know anymore. Finding right face shape is the worst part.
I've been getting bored of the normal lack of combinations in the game. Using cheat engine you can set your dagger slots with skills from all dagger using classes. It allows for some interesting combinations.
Funny thing is that the mechanics are structured as if you would find them all on one character. Even when using a skill that normally comes with a class that doesn't have a dodge roll you still can't dodge roll cancel out of it. Instead it just jumps.
If we can get a 1 character with all moves setup dragon's dogma would be cuhrayzee as fuck.
>Capcom DMCAing a song they couldn't get the rights to
But really I dunno what the deal is with it in the US, for some reason the rights holder has been scrubbing it from the net.
>Strider Thousand Kisses' your cannon
Never managed to get them to do it again though
I'd imagine they'd be as variable as 'oomies, anon.
Another anon made an orcfu on the consoles and she was clearly an orc, but also a qt. Doesn't HAVE to be ugly. Unless you want her to be ugly, she is your arisen/pawn.
Now if we had mouths with fangs or teeth or tusks, I'd so those were obligatory.
Does this look passable for a grill?
Friendly reminder that women have more round shaped heads, whereas men tend to have more triangular.
Try to make her face a bit rounder, get rid of the lipstick, and concentrate on the mouth.
If all else fails, look at one of the better looking basic presets with complete bodies and all and then change parameters from there, giving you a foundation to work from of sorts.
get mage to rank 5 first for high comesion
helps you out a lot as an early MK especially for chimeras and the ogres in the quarry under lv20
yes it works fine
if you can get the right gear
Yeah, that's fine.
Minmaxing is just a mini-game for people who've played through several times already, as long as you don't do something obviously retarded like 10-200 Assassin and switch to Sorc then you'll be just fine.
Ok. I just dont like the idea of playing 70 levels of a class that I dont want to play so that the one class I do want to play will be good by the time I am able to switch to them at lvl 100 end game.
Min maxing in this is kinda upsetting because it means you will spend the majority of your time playing a class you actually dont want to play.
Yesterday when I was playing, when i'd go to the place to recruit new pawns, they all belonged to other players, but I ended up remaking my character, and now no matter what I do, I can't get anyone elses pawns, only the generic ones.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I'm level 20 and have gone to an inn multiple times, but I just get generic shitters.
i just got this game, ready to go
is Thousand Limbs still in!?
While it's arguable whether or not she actually fell in love with you at that point you do know that the actual reason she needs you is because she's trying to get you to rescue her from her troubles right?
>made buff guy pawn on consoles
>decided to make qt pi grill on PC
>have a hard time finding male pawns
Fuck it, when I finally get rift crystals Imma change my pawn into Buff McLargeHuge again
Wow mercedes so weak she can't even beat this asshole. he so weak i one shot him easily.
why i she popular again?
Even then it doesn't matter, BBI gear is so hilariously powerful it makes no difference at all.
No Berserk material made it in, had to do something with rights or something.
Hey, I never finished this game back in the day due to framerate annoyances. Last thing I did was kill the griffin in the tower and do some quest where I had to go down into a large spiral staircase dungeon under the main city and shit went down and I had to flee. How much game is there after that?
>don't want to play 70 levels of a different class so desired class is good
This is my biggest problem. I want to Magic Archer, but the Magic Archer stat growths are ass. I hate playing as Sorceror though.
Holy shit, escorting reynald to greatwall encampment felt as epic as frodo going to mordor.
>running from 2 chimeras
>sneaking around wood faggots
>throwing thieves from mountains
>getting shit loot from cool looking chest
This game is pretty good
Firstly, you're the mighty Arisen who face tanks Hydras and Chimeras. Julien is not a threat to you but he is to Mercedes. Secondly, Mercedes's constant failure is what her story revolves around.
Question about vocation changes
As I understand, on level up your stat gain is determined by your vocation
If I change from mage to fighter at level 10, will the stat-gains from the previous 10 levels be retroactively changed, or am I essentially a fighter with 10 levels of mage stat gains
>No Berserk material made it in, had to do something with rights or something.
BACK WHEN I OWNED THIS ON PS3 I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS IN THE GAME BECAUSE IT WAS PRE-ORDER EXCLUSIVE
WHEN I FIGURED OUT I WAS DUMB I HAD ALREADY SOLD MY PS3
I'LL NEVER GET THOUSAND LIMBS FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
I tried to fix a spelling error in someone else's cell
I know, fuck you, I can't help it sometimes. It's harmless to just fix other people's mistakes quietly and not point it out, okay?and it wouldn't let me do it. Said I can't edit a forbidden cell. Lets me edit my pawns stuff though.
Well, a big mouth looks pretty ugly/shit. But she's an orc, so that's fine too.
Anon, really it's all up to you and how you want her to look. If you want an ugly orc, go for it. I tried to make Ghorzoth look surly as fuck. I like to think I did a good job. At least with a male you can cover the too-human mouth with a beard like I did.
I never did get a hang of the pawn personalities. Seems like the most random stuff affects them. How do I make a mage/healer that'll just stay the hell out of my way and heal everyone while shooting some fireballs at whatever is near?
>Playing hardcore mode
>This little shit jumps out of nowhere
>All goes downhill from here.
will there ever be a /ddg/ with fewer than 400 posts dedicated to "WHY NO BERSERK" and "IS RENTING PAWNS BROKEN"
>Min maxing in this is kinda upsetting because it means you will spend the majority of your time playing a class you actually dont want to play.
Right, that's why everyone keeps saying not to do it.
I LOVE THIS SWORD
I WANTED TO USE IT
>It's an ongoing thing. Retards keep fucking with the gdoc.
The one from the OP? I doubt it. I protected the main sheets so nobody could edit them but me.
What spelling error, anon? Just leave a message in the waitlist if you see errors or otherwise and I'll fix them. You can also leave a comment in the cells that have the error.
For the main game you want Bolide, Maelstorm, Gicel, Comestion, and whatever you want. I put Fire affinity and Lassitude.
Post game fire isn't so good so you switch that for holy affinity, fulmination and voidspell.
It was just a really minor one. Someone didn't capitalize the F in fighter.
I mean it was so dumb I didn't bother leaving a report, I just couldn't fix it and went "eh whatever" and left it at that.
No, I get that, I mean what things affect those? Seems like the smallest thing I did back on PS3 would make it change and my healer ended up obsessed with just standing around enchanting my sword with shit it didn't need then picking her nose until the enchantment ran out. Is there somewhere I can find a guide that says "these actions = increase in these traits"?
I am checking here because I want her little manly-sh and ugly-sh, but not "I can't even look at it" kind of ugly (and I've seen a lot of these). For example the nose and mouth were by design because I thought they originally looked too good.
I mean just look at this. she does not hit him ONCE! ONCE! He's literally playing with her.
I did not know you could do that.
Just take a bow with anyhow in case you need it, you can switch gear mid-combat.
>That feeling of frustration when hotkeys won't work for weapons because you have to go through the equipment menu
At least it's not loli nr. 3445
Also, question still stands
Probably need to change the hips.
Okay, if anyone was wondering about the state of modding-
It looks like we are mostly waiting on the people(person?) developing the ARC unpacker/repacker at http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/board/29/re6-modding-tools
So far, that person seems to have only just begun to add support for dragon's dogma's weird file extensions from compressed files WITHIN the .arc files.
At the moment, from what I can see, we can at least easily make "mods" that do some minor mechanics and statistical stuff, like in pic related: changing the stat gains per character level based on vocation.
Look at those interesting vocation names.
Anyway, doing something like homogenizing the stat gains so that every vocation gains the same stats up to max level should be incredibly simple.
Once we have more supported file types, and with a lot of experimentation, we ought to be able to edit a lot of more interesting values.
>Pawns come from some mystical world and they're mysterious creatures
Really? It couldn't just be mercenaries?
Well it's more that he's disillusioned by Gransys in general. As far as Julien is concerned the Dutchy is incompetent who'd rather spend their time partying it up rather than Hunt the dragon. And the soldiers are weaklings who have never seen a day of real combat in their lives who will never survive against the Dragon anyway. So fuck em. Which does make Julian a traitor who went against whatever agreement Gransys has with Voldoa.
When you rest at an Inn you'll get a notification that your pawn has returned from another world. S/He'll come back with an item, a rating, and some new experience.
There's an extremely important reason for that
But he's right.
And it's not like any of Gransys' neighbors are actually interested in helping. Hell, Voldoa probably sent Julien specifically to undermine the Duke and watch him fail.
I do not think it is appropriate for children to be wearing this sort of attire in public
So I just got that reshade preset that some anon posted and it says "Compiling effects failed" when I launch the game
I can't just put the files in the folder? What do I need to do exactly?
I dont fucking understand minmaxingin this game.
I want to play strider for example, but everything I see says that if you want to minmax strider you play 10 levels of fighter then 200 of warrior. So basically to play the class I want, I need to beat the game as a class I dont want?!
The only real relations I can personally draw between DD and DaS is the similar presentation
The games doesn't explain you everything, but enough to get you through the game
It gives you all the tricks it can offer, but doesn't teach you them, as you need to learn them for yourself
Someone tell me i'm not the only crazy guy here
No you fuckwit. There is literally no cause for minmaxing in this game.
Besides that Strider's stat growth is great. You may want to play a Red for 10 levels or so to get some HP, but even that isn't necessary.
I'm playing a Warrior, and this weight shit is pissing me off. Equipment weighs a ton, I wish I made my char able to hold more. It's a fucking pain in the ass picking stuff up, then having to give it to my pawns. Is there a way to fix this dumb shit?
How the fuck do I get from The Greatwall back to Grand Soren?
I spent a month escorting that stupid shopkeeper and i got fucked at every turn, there's no way I can walk back the same way I came.
>tfw can only make one good looking male face
>have to make my main pawn a girl so that we don't look exactly alike
Also why do you ALWAYS look derpy and twice as bulky as you actually are in the opening cutscene?
Holy fuck can someone add "YOU DON'T NEED TO MIN-MAX IN THIS GAME, JUST PLAY WHAT YOU WANT" to the fucking OP for the next thread?
The game actually takes place in the not too distant future where the world is exploring the new frontiers of virtual reality technology.
Japan has developed a new beta VR video game project called GRAND SYSTEM.
You're actually playing the character of a regular person who is playing a character in the new VR game.
NPCs will mention the mysterious nature of the pawns, but will not entirely break the fourth wall for the player. The game recognizes that pawns are created by the players in GRAND SYSTEM, and rift stones don't take you to a magical dimension they just take you to an undeveloped space in the server where the players' pawn data are stored.
Gransys (grand system) is the first VR video game to allow a level of interaction ONLINE between its players.
>that guy with the hood in the back walking by
Also found Guts.
Wearing a dress for some reason.
Left wants your bussy.
Right gives up his.
Choose my Strider pawn.
I don't like the pawn system at all. I made a great party of an elf healer, a human mage, and a viking fighter and now I have to switch 2 of them out because they do not level with me.
And 90% of pawns you find are garbage-tier waifus made by sad retards. Can't form any attachment to the party at all. Very bad.
how does this work for a look that's more fitting with the setting (aka just your average joe villager becoming a hero)?
You do need to minmax due to BBI. If it was just the regular game then yeah it's easy, you don't need to. Frankly I'm kinda sad they went all "we want the dork souls audience lol" with BBI
In your storage is an item called the "eternal ferrystone".
It's an unlimited use stone that will teleport you to any portcrystal, like the ones inside Gran Soren and outside the starter town, and any portcrystals you place in the future.
Browsed the steam forum and it seems I'm not the only one that's limited to Offline mode for some reason.
I wonder if it's tied to the pawn reward thing being out of whack.
What is even more amazing is that this, "thing" is supposed to be this character from a weeb novel.
It's a rough world. Even Guts has resorted to hooking. Gotta make money somehow.
Looks like a fucking middle-aged man. This is the generic character.
Yes anon i'm sure we would have a very lively online community of sharing characters if everyone could just keep the same two pawns for the entire game.
Maybe you should design the game?
Woke up and there was a patch in my steam download history. Does anyone know what was patched? Maybe my steam just being weird though.
No you don't and I say this from experience. By the time I got close the max level I had to downgrade myself just because I was unstoppable with all the BBI centric gear. First I downgraded to BBI lv 2 weapons. Then 1. By the time I was done with Dogma I was running through BBI with goldforged Caxton gear.
Anon, I played on PS3 and going full min-max and assassin was the only way I would've ever beat Bitterblack Isle. Maybe you're one of these superhumans who is great at vidya and beats every Dark Souls boss on the first try but not all of us are you
>get attacked by a troll
>hundreds of wolves and bandits continuously spawn while fighting the troll
>get 3x more experience from the endless army of wolves than from the troll itself
Maybe you could have fun with the KB/M if you never experienced the controller controls but I feel like for me the fun would definitely be downgraded with click=attack. Something about pressing a button with the thumb to wail on something releases good chemicals in my brain
>Anon, I played on PS3 and going full min-max and assassin was the only way I would've ever beat Bitterblack Isle.
Wow, you fucking suck. I played Mystic Knight for 100 levels, grabbed the shittiest Magic Archer gear I could find, and made BBI my bitch.
>using non-bbl weapons
>complaining about difficulty
Just fine with mouse and keyboard if you rebind a few keys. I put primary skills to Q and secondary to mouse4.
Though bow gameplay is a little annoying. If you're not playing bow classes do m+kb. If you are, try it then try controller and stick to your preference.
>Go to get a healer mage pawn
>They're all generic pretty girls
I just wanted an old witch or wizard.
I started as a Strider, am I locked out of all the big weapons?
Okay, this game is pissing me off.
Every once in a while I'll enter an area and talk to an NPC, and the game just eternally tries to connect to the server and the NPC just stands there.
I can't exit the conversation, I can't do anything except Alt+F4 and reopen the game.
Seriously, what the fuck is up with this?
I was legitimately having a better time with this game just playing it offline with the leak.
Do you ever get any faster as a warrior? And do any of you have any tips for me starting out as a warrior? I'm level 15 almost 16 and I just feel underpowered, the 3 starting abilities feel kinda lackluster and it's hard to avoid damage since you're so slow. Does it scale better when you get better weapons and armor? You guys got any tips on where I can find a really good two-hander during the early game?. Thanks.
How does this look for a post retarded casca? Also, how do I take a working screenshot lel
spam upward strike and corona and enemies will be too busy on their ass to attack you
tomb of the unknown traveler with the golem has a gather spot with a good 2hander
or do the escourt for gryphic victory
Anyone know what this guys deal is? He keeps screaming for help even though I killed all the bandits
>not being a meanie to skeltals
Don't just check inclinations, look at their gear.
Some people think its fun to use preset outfits or leave their pawn without clothes but all I see is a badly made pawn, especially after level 15 or so.
The jap voice acting is there but it's incomplete, the Berserk items only left some traces. The item data is still there but there's no models, textures, icons, or anything else.
So seeing as Rentals are fucked at the moment, guess i'll just ask in the thread.
Has anyone here taken Halkor out for a spin at all? I'm looking for feedback on how to improve him, and nip any bad habits in the butt before they get too entrenched in his AI.
10 hours in. Cut through standard mobs with zero effort, get ripped apart by stronger mooks. Is restarting with hard mode a good idea?
>my pawn knows of a quest before me doing it
>that means she's been hired
I beat the game offline on the PS3 3 times, but this is the first time my pawn has been hired. I'm nervous
What's the difference between "Retry" and Retry from Last Checkpoint"?
I just went out, killed some stuff, visited the Dragonforged Arisen, and died.
I'm guessing both of them send me back to Gran Soren and going into / out of The Dragonforged's Cave means nothing, right?
Am I the only one who didn't like that we all began with DLC armor? The wanderer armor and lion's arm protector are pretty strong, and we have the ruminator monocle, that does nearly nothing but you can sell for 300k.
It irked me. Also, when are they going to fix the pawn system? I want to see if people are actually renting my pawnfu or it's just that I'm all alone.
If you're good at avoiding damage, sure. Hard Mode gives you twice as much XP and gold, but enemies do 3.5x more damage. Stamina drain when using skills is also increased by 50%.
>Because it says so in the fucking description
Regular saves are just that, saves that either happen with your input or automatically when you enter a new area. Checkpoint saves are saves when you rest at an inn and your pawn is uploaded to Dogma's servers.
Goddamit this makes no sense
Spammed inclination potions to get Utilitarian/primary
Gave my sorceror high glicel
Go to test it out on some suarians
As I'm cutting swathes through them, all my sorceror does is charge up the spell half way, then move around and cancel it. Then goes back to charging it, then cancels it. THEN GOES BACK TO CHARGING THEN CANCELS IT
This is the AI system you guys lauded?
>a group of bandits
>one of them just runs to a pawn and downs it
>run around just saving pawns as it downs them
>at some point get staggered by the enemy mob and the elite guy comes and kills me
>remove chimera's snake and goat heads
>it still has a shit ton of HP and i do 0.01% of its health with each swing
>have to go through 20 minutes of it stomping around in circles while i wittle it down
how do i make my damage not shit?
Eh, it only really unbalances things if you actually use them. Stuff you can buy is locked by main quest progression, and by the time you progress far enough to buy anything expensive the board quests will make you filthy fucking rich anyway. Just sell it all and the 300k will make the first few hours a little more comfortable is all.
Vagabond armor has really good stats as well, you don't have to replace it even until BBI.
As for the pawn system they'll problably fix it next week, and not durring the weekends.
>been playing as strider and ranger until now
>switch to warrior
hey /vg/ I played the leaked version and was wondering about a few things before I take the plunge:
Are the player made pawns any better than the capcom offline mode ones?
Does backspace still delete characters AND exit the menu when naming your character?
Are the menu binds still weird stupid shit like O X pgup and Insert and unable to be changed?
Basically was that awkward as fuck interface and horrible AI meant to be part of the game?
Thanks anon. I'm happy to see the nexusmods entries and the Cheat Engine scripts are amazing.
The game is already much much better thanks to mods.
Also to everyone here that might be interested in ENB(it has good features like remove vignette, dithering, SSAO, and a hotkey to remove the HUD), please post a STEAM game save in an interior or just at night/during different weathers either here(I'll link it to Boris) or on his website's forum, the link is here.
It will help him and people interested in that mod.
She looks 30.
Your damage isn't as bad as you think.
The lion head has extremely high defense against physical attacks, and killing its other heads off puts it into super angry resist-phys-even-more mode.
Use magic, or kill the lion head first.
Warrior is the most underpowered, limited class and slow as shit. You have no gapcloser, enjoy getting potshotted in the face by dickass bandits. Hope you're not on hardmode.
Getting the Gryphic Victory from Ser Berne's escort quest at Gran Soren makes the class playable, for a while. Just note that sword is ridiculous OP considering how early you can get it.
Somehow everything is fucked. I don't know what to do anymore. It'd be too much to tell you guys but I fucked up everywhere you could possibly fuck up. Why does this game auto-save EVERYTHING. I'm fucking crying.
you don't have to jump while doing focus bolt, right? wiki says that the augment for jumping attack doenst work on that, and other than that i cant see a reason why you would jump.
also, is there a way to charge up without attacking once? I don't want to be locked in that animation.
You didn't play the leaked version did you? I feel sorry for you not knowing about this before release.
They do that shit right up to end game.
>warrior pawn charges off in to the middle of the pack spamming shield summons
>mage starts a heal spell
>starts a fireball
>starts a heal spell
>starts a buff spell
>starts a heal spell
>heals me for 5% of life instead of the warrior currently dying to saurians
Get used to it.
Huh, that really is bizarre. I mean, she does the same thing against smaller enemies like wolves, goblins and saurians, but channels decently against big fucks like chimeras and gryphons.
Guess it's just the engine shitting itself.
Modding them in might still be possible if people rip them from the console version, but as it stands we can't just recover them from the pc version. Also, not really a problem, but the Berserk items will probably look oddly out of place with their lower res textures.
>you don't have to jump while doing focus bolt, right?
No, but I like to.
>wiki says that the augment for jumping attack doenst work on that
And it's right for once.
>also, is there a way to charge up without attacking once?
You can queue up Focused Bolt during anything. Start it while picking up an iten. start it while in your menus, start it while taking off for a jump, start it while already casting a spell, etc. You can also start to charge it then hit [sheathe weapon] to cancel the single bolt.
>want to play Fighter / Warrior
>that awful feeling when no ranged capabilities
You can rentthem but the owner will never know or get any rewards.
>mfw I went through Butterbrick island on hard with no minmax
Had no real problems. Daimon was tough but I was smart and I still won.
Would I have to do this for a long time, I was griding up to warrior vocation 9, and I have zero sorc gear and piss poor magic stats
I mean, if its possible to just grind for an hour on goblins, then fine, I dont mind showing them how to channel
I dunno anon, I need my Riftbucks
I'm slowly closing in on BBI and I'll barely have any to purify my items
This was the only fucking reason I bought the game - the pawns. I tried it on the leaked version, which had no bugs or glitches, and I immediately bough it.
Not only THAT but half an hour ago my save got screwed up and I can't load my game, I'm around lv. 30.
FUCK THIS WORLD
Too many targets.
Fighting one ogre they're fine.
Fighting two they go out of their way to stand in the worst place possible because they can only concentrate on one thing at a time.
