>Test Cup V 16:
MAKE SURE TO UPDATE TO THE GAMMA DLC
>Previously on /4ccg/:
Test Cup finishes this weekend.
Arguing about logos.
Complaining about PES16.
I agree, but I still like how it looks on the logo for some reason. Also it's funny to see all the plebs who can't into cursive making implications of additional letters that aren't true.
Reposting for new thread.
You can't just do the same thing forever because some autists will moan about it. That's always going to happen, but the real argument here is simply for a slight improvement to stats that would benefit everyone. We're not talking anything major like heights right now. That I can understand.
Besides, cards aren't as vital and game changingly critical as certain managers might think. I didn't really care about card rule changes. They seem like a waste sometimes (see style/COM cards that the AI hardly uses)
They don't even teach handwriting in the USA anymore, I've read it years ago. Then not too long ago I watched a streamer out of boredom and he had to open up notepad and type in it because he couldn't use a pen or pencil.
How do you even sign things? Do you just put an X there?
>they don't even teach handwriting in the USA anymore
The USA doesn't have a unitary curriculum, every local school board sets its own standards. Heck, in my schools we had not only penmanship but an actual calligraphy program in high school.
I don't vote for OotH because I've never given a fuck about the Dan thing, I'm not even sure why he's a thing on /mlp/. Irrelevant in my eyes and hopefully in enough other people's as well. Vote him on /co/'s team or something.
FYM is a rep for a general who never wanted to be part of /mlp/, hates /mlp/ and doesn't give a shit about the cup. To hell with keeping it around because of traditions, it should have been gone when we got managers, but it didn't happen because Testanon who rigged the /a/ game was an MLPGtard.
as >>128767508 said, it's more about respecting the roots of the show itself than about Dan in particular. RIP Hub, RIP Treebrary, RIP a thousand other things that died after season 3 started.
The reason /mlp/ has "good threads" is because they come here to shitpost instead on doing it in threads.
Is funny when Boris refuses to come here but goes to /mlp/ threads with the same users he hates
It really was community-made with a huge amount of suggestions and such
although I was never quite happy with the colors 2bh, but on the other hand at the time of voting there were reminders that only horsefuckers vote for pf's logo and similar shitposting
It's funny that Tenko mentions that /m/ couldn't advance in a group made only of /m/ in his colony drop rant, because they have so many secondary rosters that a group made only of /m/ teams is perfectly possible
>because they have so many secondary rosters that a group made only of /m/ teams is perfectly possible
Some times when we are bored we make a little league and each one makes a team
Give me one cup related filename for this image
get fucked brony shitters
dragonfag knows best
Reminds me of this
Nevermind, I was going somewhere with this but the joke kind of fell off the rails.
Here's the poll link:
oh, I know why /mlp/ people are the most vocal proponents of rule changes
It's because they're fucking shit at PES 16
Plz, shes as harmless as a flower.
Are you sure you're not trying to sucker Obasu in so you can relegate her
All I have a hand in is helping her out with Aesthetics. Helping a few teams actually. We talk about other things now and then as well. All managers do this with one another ya know.
>Implying i'd EVER have 3 in the back.
I have other managers for that.
But i'm not sure if being friends with /mlp/ is a good idea.
>can't get his shit straightened out
>"helps" another team in the mean time
What are you going to do next? /cm/ manager doesn't show up so you sign them up and submit their exports for winter?
>submit their exports for winter
I did that for /soc/ once, and they won a cup :D
Yer, Smugleaf is a nice guy, most people here are. When ya get to know the anons and namefags and have a chat, its really a nice community we got goin on here.
I hate his antics wasting time and repeatedly dooming the team he is responsible for, especially for when setting up those three useless presets in autumn 14 against /sp/ when the game kept crashing.
Don't worry anon we exist in a low entropy world as a fluctuation within a higher entropy universe. Even in a near-equilibrium state, there will be stochastic fluctuations in the level of entropy. The most common fluctuations will be relatively small, resulting in only small amounts of organization, while larger fluctuations and their resulting greater levels of organization will be comparatively more rare. Large fluctuations would be almost inconceivably rare, but are made possible by the enormous size of the Universe and by the idea that if we are the results of a fluctuation, there is a "selection bias": we observe this very unlikely Universe because the unlikely conditions are necessary for us to be here, an expression of the anthropic principle.
If our current level of organization, having many self-aware entities, is a result of a random fluctuation, it is much less likely than a level of organization which only creates stand-alone self-aware entities. For every universe with the level of organization we see, there should be an enormous number of lone brains floating around in unorganized environments. In an infinite universe, the number of self-aware brains that spontaneously and randomly form out of the chaos, complete with memories of a life like ours, should vastly outnumber the brains evolved from an inconceivably rare local fluctuation the size of the observable Universe.
In all likelihood, you are not even reading this anonymous message board. You're simply a self aware observer that spontaneously appeared in the depths of the void, 'experiencing' a memory, all your memories in an instant, before your spark fizzles out at quickly as it appeared.
I hate /vp/'s managers and I wish the team would just not sign up for Winter. They embarrass the board and there is nothing they can do to make anything better than the shitfest that was their last two Elite performances.
Fucking give up.
>implying this is somehow bad
I would take a board whose managers would be able to put in any effort at all or be at least capable of giving their competition some resistance. I resent that whoever gets /vp/ will be given a free win, and I bet they'll even rig it so that these useless shits get paired with /mlp/ so they advance.
Besides, /lit/ fucking 6-0'd /vp/.
This team literally does not deserve to be anywhere near an Elite Cup and should stay that way.
as if they won't be in winter anyway thanks to even more ded seagull and /soc/
hopefully they'll fuck themselves over too so /e/ can into winter
only because autokek and shit marino are in it
I know, but they should be able to save that for fuck sake
We doing these again?
/a/ /an/ /b/ /ck/ /co/ /d/ /f/ /fit/ /g/ /gd/ /h/ /int/ /jp/ /k/ /lit/ /m/ /mlp/ /mu/ /o/ /pol/ /r9k/ /s4s/ /sci/ /sp/ /tg/ /toy/ /tv/ /v/ /vg/ /vr/ /wg/ /x/
>bringing in fans
McBob was the only thing that still brought fans to /vp/, Tech and Reso are a bunch of patent retards and that's why the team and fanbase is stagnating and decreasing. Poll result threads were consistently 70+ or more back in Beb's time and this one hasn't even broken 50.
Just because we moved to 16 is not about to change the fact that managers are dumb, fucking look at SDA. Memes never change.
If you actually thought or want to think that /vp/ can bring in fans, McBob needs to come back. There is literally no reason to prefer what we have now, fucking give me one. Protip: you can't.
>the best managers are the ones that are able to adapt to a new game
>mfw my export is pretty much copy paste autumn
See you guys tomorrow for knockouts!
Is this #32teams based on fans?
>no /vp/ or /n/
Tasty bait, I'd also throw in /asp/ and maybe /w/ looking at their Autumn thread
Remove /h/, /lit/, /sci/ and /x/
>/adv/, /c/, /e/
>mcbob needs to come back
oh my fucking god you cannot be serious
Technetium just fucking won the VGL, he's a far better manager than mcbibbles.
There was a thread on /c/ during the babbies and the reaction was literally only people asking what the fuck it is. Anyone that supports /c/ probably only has them as a 2nd team because their waifu is in the team.
>don't know the cup exists
nigger you what, I was in a thread they had for Autumn and I believe they had one for Summer and Winter before that. They were pretty good threads too, lasted until end of the /e/ run
Yeah, that hits the nail on the head really
I was one of like the 5/6 people to vote in the /c/ poll because I go there, but they are no way my main team or even close to it
#32teams is retarded but I'll chip in with an "objectively" "correct" list
/a/ /asp/ /b/ /ck/ /cm/ /co/ /d/ /e/
/f/ /fit/ /g/ /gd/ /int/ /jp/ /k/ /m/
/mlp/ /mu/ /o/ /pol/ /r9k/ [s4s] /sp/ /tg/
/toy/ /tv/ /u/ /v/ /vg/ /vp/ /vr/ /wg/
Some debatable options here
of course abweeb faggots are gonna get on my ass for including /cm/ /e/ and /u/ instead of something like /an/ /lit/ and /sci/ but I give exactly 0 fucks (no more, no less) and that's part of the "debatable options" anyway
though I honestly think /cm/ and /u/ are more than deserving of their spots; again #32teams is literally retarded and doesn't deserve to be taken very seriously
No but really, I remember last time /4ccg/ were talking about #32teams, this exact same thing happened
Someone linked old /n/ threads that weren't lost because >.moe
They get a good showing in both threads and polls, 30 votes in a poll is better than most
>tfw your medium-small market team makes people's #32team lists
Not seeing it to be honest, I get they're pretty well liked but I personally haven't ever seen much interest from the board. Feel free to correct if I'm wrong and you can show that I'm wrong
/an/, /lit/, /sci/, and /lgbt/ have a fair bit of interest (and /an/ and /sci/ are old bandwagon favorites), but /cm/ and /u/ have both had good interest from their boards for recent cups (as has /e/) so I'm a bit cautious about taking them off my list
/n/ is all dragonfag :^) but thinking again I'd probably toss /d/ overboard for them
Test draw since it has been a while.
J U S T
seriously two of the most overrated teams in this cup get a free pass unless Tech stops being retarded and wins more than his freebie from /soc/ WHAT THE FUCK YOU FUCKING RIGHAT STOP DOING THIS SHIT
I let /o/ have their year. SIKE, THAT'S THE WRONG YEAR!
rip ip /sp/ u're fuggled
it's like Group A almost
fucking rip /an/ and /n/
rip ip /a/ u're super fuggled
unless /cm/ changes from SDA's retarded export they are the definition of fucked in the ass
just throw it in the bag
literally 5 groups that are extremely easy to predict, either because half of the group is trash or half of the group is really good
My logic isn't "fans" per se, but rather covering broad spectrums of interest.
If we were to downgrade to a 48-team limit, like we had before, I think there'd be more than enough to cut. What's more we'd gain viability for unique areas like /biz/ and /d/ to show their color.
Specifically those two; /lgbt/ is the overarching "gay" board and /h/ is the overarching "japanese porn" board.
I get that actually, it's actually a pretty important factor, seeing as a lot of the casual fans probably care more for example, /x/ (team with no fans but is a 'different' team) rather than another team with perhaps more fans, but not a very team exciting overall.
/s4s/ shits up every board with their post-post-post-irony shitposting. I can't have a thread anymore without those fags showing up and ruining it halfway through. moot should have deleted that shitheap after April's 1st was over.
And the team is just an /mlp/ proxy, but so are a few others.
Let's take a look at the boards who have teams right now and how "uniquely" they stack up, taking 4CC fanbase right out of the equation.
>Broad interests, Over-arching boards that are (probably) interesting to the casual viewer
/a/, /b/, /f/, /g/, /h/, /k/, /o/, /v/, /vg/, /wg/, /r9k/, [s4s], /lgbt/, /an/, /asp/, /biz/, /ck/, /co/, /fa/, /fit/, /gd/, /int/, /jp/, /lit/, /mlp/, /mu/, /out/, /pol/, /sci/, /sp/, /tg/, /tv/, /vp/, /x/
33 Active Teams, 1 Inactive
>Broad interests, Over-arching boards that are (probably) meagerly interesting to the casual viewer
/cgl/, /hr/, /ic/, /3/, /adv/, /diy/, /n/, /po/, /soc/, /toy/, /trv/
8 Active Teams, 3 Inactive
>Boards that are branching interests but are unique enough to garner reason for representation
/d/, /m/, /i/, /cm/, /y/, /w/, /hm/, /u/, /vr/
8 Active Teams, 1 Inactive
>Boards that are branching interests and are meagerly unique enough to garner reason for representation
2 Active Teams
>/gif/ or /s/. Pick one.
1 Active Team
>New Boards that have a potential for new team, ordered by potential value
/his/ > /aco/ > /news/ > /wsr/
1 Team realistically, 2 Teams eventually, 1 Team never please /wsr/ sucks.
<MagsBiston> >losing to smugleaf
<JohnnyBravo> >thinking smugleaf is bad
<Smugleaf> Stop pinging me I'm trying to fap
<MagsBiston> he's a meme m8
<carmastrikes> /gd/ is a really fucking good team
Who is the biggest meme manager lads
I still stand for my idea of having /trash/ be a final boss of the group stage that plays against the lowest ranked team, and the roster is made out of players that were dropped from other teams for being too shitty
/soc/'s on the bottom rung too, a fair pick for removal, and I say that as someone who goes there.
>mfw I didn't even list /t/
Get nudes, talk to peeps, it's nice.
I don't think that /u/ of all boards is a "bait" example dude. I mean, i get that it's pretty popular among otakus on this site, but on the broad view, it's kinda just another anime board to me, like /c/ or /e/.
I mean, I have a biased viewpoint, as do we all, so it's fair that I might be wrong.
So you're saying a board shouldn't take part in the cup because you don't care for its content, which coincidentally is also the content most of the website is dedicated to?
Combined with the fact that you browse /soc/, you should start thinking about whether this really is the right website for you.
>the content most of the website is dedicated to
>I mean, I have a biased viewpoint, as do we all, so it's fair that I might be wrong.
You should calm down and not get to anally assaulted whenever someone says something mildly negative about some anime girls, dude. I admitted that I have a stilted viewpoint, and /u/ might not be the best choice to remove.
On the other hand, /4ccg/ could just be /u/ paradise and most anons might not even give a shit about it. I don't know.
>So you're saying a board shouldn't take part in the cup because you don't care for its content
/u/'s content is anime lesbians.
>which coincidentally is also the content most of the website is dedicated to
4chan was originally dedicated to otaku content.
Perhaps you should learn to speak clearly and concisely?
Let's see, what is the likelier thing
>somebody believes all of 4chan is dedicated to yuri
>you're misinterpreting an ambiguous statement
it's pretty fucking obvious to anybody who's not trying to start a shitflinging contest and bait for replies.
its documentary time and todays poision is Saving 10,000 winning a war on suicide in japan (cause its a japanese website so we gotta please these zipper heads and psudo zipper heads). link is vaughnlive tv pybro01 so yeah come on down and enjoy a flick
the polls are quite bountiyful and people actually likes it so yeah but whatever love i know you wanna make this event a serious E-sport cause you were a failure at sports and wanna vent off at this silly and non serious virtual sporting event. Also heres your reply son i hope you got a quite amusement reaction and now you wanna rebuttle with something idiotic so then you dont look like a fool with your pants on the ground
want me to expand your chances to drag your 'bait' more cause im enjoying this documentary right now so you can circle jerk your friends
eheheehe you i like you already
heh whoops how do you show the charts again? im kinda buzzed with my beer n rum sludge mix at the moment.
>i know you wanna make this event a serious E-sport cause you were a failure at sports and wanna vent off at this silly and non serious virtual sporting event
This doesn't make any sense coming from the guy that needs to validate his e-reputation so badly that he needs to manage a team no one likes.
>me evaluating my e-reputation
wow mate some people actually take this even very seriously? i thought it was for shits and giggles and entertain the masses while donating a few hours. i guess people wants their ego stroked faster than a fat stripper begging for chump change
welp feels has been bled out like a decapitated cow and kinda an eye opening. next week is white light black rain; the survivors of the hiroshima and nagasaki talk about their stories of seeing the bomb drop, rehab from radiation, and rebuilding the city and their lives back to normal
continue with your shitposting and regular autisim bating
>Implying the refs call handball in PES
I'm almost positive he means /int/
although with the way /mlp/ managers have been complaining about (and performing in) 16 I would be completely unsurprised to see them relegated
So /4ccg/ I'm sure we never actually bothered to look into this:
What's a full list of all the managers verified from 2015 onwards who are and aren't planted horsefuckers?
I need it for the shitlist.
/wsg/ we've gone over before
/f/ co-manager is confirmed
/vp/ is a haven of planted horsefuckers, might as well throw that on the list, same for /an/ :^)
everyone else is not horsefuckers tbqh, feel free to prove me wrong on any of these
/int/ /sp/ (no /mlp/ pick therefore you know it's memepick season)
/u/ /n/ (/u/ confirmed for 5th straight KO before it even begins)
/g/ /vr/ (ripfuckingip /wg/ and /vp/)
/tv/ /fit/ (>/s/ >not overrated)
/mu/ /a/ (why the fuck do they keep getting drawn together)
/f/ /h/ (>/cm/ >worth shit with that SDA export)
/asp/ /gd/ (STILL ELITE)
/b/ /tg/ (>[s4s] >good)
no stories need bro =) yur on welfare not me=p so how is no job going for ya anyway? bottom feeding like your parents before u =) atta boy! stay at the bottom =) be a good lil roach. my job wouldnt be such a joke if it wasnt for u fools =) keep me comfy at the top =) its good to sit above roaches like u =)
Unfriendlies teams with missing exports:
>Wrong version: /trash/, /vp/, /wg/
>Missing completely: /an/, /c/, /his/, /jp/, /sp/, /tg/, /v/, Straya Dog
seriously, git gud
>ghost of Bochum
>whoever the fuck did /trash/
>/4ccg/ still deluding themselves into thinking that [s4s] is overrated
Also a template. Make it /4ccg/ related.
What is Slutsandra saying?
captcha: Select all street signs. One was named Sandra.
Tenko probably wants late exports in by end of this weekend/Monday.
If CollieSis still doesn't into PES I can export his test cup shit for 1.12 so he has further proof why said tactics suck dog dick in 16, the others SHOULD be working on fixing their shit right now
>utterly delusional manager who unironically prefers the worst version of PES and is a planted horsefucker
You're forgetting that the cup is 95% planted horsefuckers.
Doesn't matter when we have a powerhouse attack.
>can't beat a single competent team
That's because we're beating the competence out of them :^)
>referring to CollieSis as a he
lel city of me, wanted to say 1.03
double lel since 16 is the closest thing to 1.12 we've seen since it, le spaghetti defending man
also CollieSis is tranny anyway so :^)
Appeared in both elite cups in 2015, babby winner
Ranked 2nd when they lost 5-0 to us, appeared in both elite cups.
Who cares about /sci/
Babby cup runner up
Babby cup winner and elite cup runner up, appeared in both elite cups.
Who cares about /adv/
Elite cup winner (other one doesn't count kek)
>/4ccg/ in charge of points
>Doesn't matter when we have a powerhouse attack.
except, you know, it does, and that's why you lost to /gd/, /a/, and /pol/
and it matters even more in pes16 where 77 defenders have double (borderline single) digit IQ and prove why they do quite often
have a (You) in exchange for a cheeky smiley face
tbf /toy/ were a good team running an absolute dogshit attempt at a counter that lost to fucking /3/ (that's saying something), /adv/ may well have advanced from a shittier group like A or F, and /sp/ made some godawful decisions as they like to do
kek at anyone who attempts to argue everything before autumn wasn't gifting [s4s] free wins though
seriously? you're going to use results from years ago under far different conditions as arguments? seriously?
that's not even worth putting the fucking post number in, nor is it worth explaining just how wrong you are
Not deserving of a (You) since this is pretty shitty bait but whatever.
Didn't promote from Autumn 14 convincingly, were only good in Spring 15 when upset by /tv/.
Management doesn't give a shit anymore.
Appeared in Winter and Summer mainly off the backs of Dawgamus and le banned Philadelphia man, have been shit otherwise. Also, >history mattering
^^^-INCORRECT FACT DETERRING SPIKES-^^^
>remember I'm browsing /4ccg/
>remember that /4ccg/ is always incorrect
>/mlp/ won't win Summer, they said
See you when [s4s] wins Winter
vvv-INCORRECT FACT DETERRING SPIKES-vvv
I should remind you that Bear left [s4s] and is probably busy being planted at /vp/ right now or some shit like that.
carma is shit and bear was probably responsible for esfores offensive effort, which means [s4s] is probably ripip.
You could have gotten a few more (You)s if it wasn't yuropoor time right now i guess but good effort
I like that /s4s/, a board that is supposed to take nothing all too serious (memes being they exception of course) becomes a passive aggressive bunch of tryhard sour losers if they get their asses handed to them.
right, forgot how unsalty you guys were after becoming 5th last autumn. You were all so unsalty infact that you gave bear the day off, and the week off, and the month off, and the year off, and the comming year off..
I only miss trash, an, c, his, tg, vp and straya dog now. I did yell a bit at the c, tg and vp management. Gonna yell at SDA a bit aswell later today. I don't remember who the fuck colliebro was in skype.
If xe can't get it done today I'll rely on that.
I can usually recognise popular /a/ characters even without watching the anime but I only got Shinobu from that. Also I've not watched any new anime series this season cause it all looks shit.
I did manage to get Kurumi's ara ara because Date A Live was one of the LNs I read. I recognised Karen and Kobato too but didn't even know they had verbal tics or distinctive laughter sounds.
Google really served me wellhere.
I'm sick of the schtick already and it hasn't even happened yet. But it will. My dad's a psychic and here is how people will react to:
>/mlp/ doing poorly in Winter
LOL horsefuckers git gud no wonder they were trying to change the rules XD
>/mlp/ doing well and beating /yourteam/
WTF BORIS IS ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL LITERALLY RIGGING IT FOR /MLP/ WHY DIDN'T WE FIX 16 WHEN WE HAD THE CHANCE?
>PES 16 has been out for months
>AI hasn't changed
>People (that have actually tested a lot in PES 16) saying it is broken everywhere under old rules and even more horribly RNG
>WE COULDN'T COME UP WITH A FIX LOL, TOO LATE
I wish /merit/ would listen to the mentally advanced people over the mentally retarded.
>here are my results
>"We're trying to decide. Be patient. Run more tests."
>"Lel out of time guys! Too late for changes. Wish we had info sooner."
Hessen had been making recommendations for how long? Part of what pissed me off about the whole thing was how /merit/ basically browbeat people into running tests and then ignored all of it, effectively wasting hours and hours of people's time that could've been spent on their own teams rather than a larger Cup project at /merit/'s request.
Here's a novel concept: if you're in charge, you do the fucking work.
Fuck the cup
Fuck my shit up
