pic related is what I use.
a little description of everything, from top to bottom:
- additional trainset, kinda endgame, is better than maglevs
- additional trainset, mostly for early games (late 19th up to mid 20th century)
- additional trains for the same trainset
- additional houses and roads, changes to more modern stuff as time goes on
- additional bridges
- self explanatory, good for early games
- additional stations, very basic and simple looking
- enlarges the toolbars if you play on high resoution (fullHD and above)
- additional monorail and maglev trains
- self explanatory, adds a modern looking waypoint
- adds trams and tramtracks
- massive addition of stations and station tiles, very versatile, good if you like to customize your station or you are simply bored by the stock ones. most of the stuff is animated.
- additional road vehicles, specialized in heavy stuff and cargo handling
- additional ships
- massive road vehicle pack, goes from horse carriages to modern stuff, has both passenger and cargo truck/trams
- additional houses for early gmes
- same as Industrial Stations Renewal, but with less stuff
- same as above
- changes how rails, fences and electricity poles look
- self explanatory, changes the stock dock
- additional stations, good for passengers
- additional planes
- Massive industry pack. Adds a lot of new industries and cargo types, changes how the industry production works. This is a must have
- additional train tracks for some added difficulty, starts with small speed limited tracks and unlocks better tracks as time goes on.
also, I'm using a patchpack, which is a new .exe file of the game that someone recompiled to add some mods that can't simply be downloaded as the rest.
there is a lot of stuff in there, so here is the list
it's mainly a difficulty mod, which means most of the stuff is there to make things harder, but there are a bunch of very good utilities too.
>spend 30 minutes trying to get my onramp to not look buggy as shit
>spend 30 minutes designing a nice neighborhood with a major league ballpark in it
>studder studder studder
>oh shit, better save befo----FUCK
fuck this stupid crashy game im done
you only really need to use two signals: the regular ones and the path ones, the rest is optional and only barely useful for very complex shit.
It all becomes very easy if you just focus on those two signals and try to understand their basics
in CS is there a way to figure out how much electricity your city currently needs and uses?
I recall in SC4 that it would tell you how much funding something needed and you could adjust the power output of say a coal plant to over or under how much you actually need.
All I see in CS is the budget panel which I can put up or down and have no way of seeing if everyone is getting enough electricity.
now to reply the fellow anon:
> how should I lay out train tracks
I was actually thinking of having the rail underground going up on main street (will also reach further for the more distant villages)
I dislike the separation between surface train and subway, so I'll have them undergrain and build sub-train stations instead...
I'm looking to have the main bus terminal near the university as well, so it should go by there, but for the central station (one connecting to outside), will probably go in the south edge.
The terrain is very slopey, another reason to go underground too, for the other side of the river, its good plan really, but sad I can't merge both the passenger a cargo tracks.
why are the threads suddenly dead again? we were doing pretty well last week
>using an elementary school at night time
what am i missing here?
OP, I love that screenshot. It reminds me of Strasbourg, France with the cathedral in the center like that. It's things like this that make me wanna try the European theme set.
I always play for a while until my train network gets to the point where I really need 4-wide mainlines and complex junctions then I spend 2 hours trying to design an optimally balanced mainline 4 track 8 way interchange and get too stressed and give up.
Play bigger maps, spread things around, use FIRS so you can build a shitload of different networks before needing to go all 4lane with one, Learn to play with cargodist.
There are a lot of other challenges if you don't like going crazy with junctions and mainlines
I used to play simutrans a lot, but always got overwhelmed with customization options, ending up with unbalanced stuff, and trying to build the perfect map with my own cities...
interface is really similar, its just more autistic I think
there is an ingame tutorial.
you have to download it from the "check online content" button (which opens the ingame mod downloader) and then typing "tutorial" in the search box.
there is a scenario, a script and an AI to download, all to make a single tutorial scenario that will teach you the basics.
anyway, youtube has plenty of tutorials and the stock game is easy enough for you to play without that many problems if you have a basic understanding of what's happening on screen.
How do you get these hard edges along the waterfront? I'm assuming it's CSL
if you mean the hard edges on the beach, that just graphic decaying due to distance...
if you mean the sea walls in the city, thats what those are, seawall or something similar
>boats don't move around the lake
one job CO, one!
are you crazy... definitely not one
new traffic manager out!
well firstly it fixed several of feature that weren't quite worked well
> priority signs
> signal lights
> improved saving and loading
> integrated improved AI
why don't you just check for yourself anon?
says it after wholy explanation
now traffic is finally piling up
something is not right here...
Afternoon traffic, coming back home
and as bonus
photocard of River Wild Park
see what I did there?
I was looking for this type of interchanges
yup, but for this part I liked the paved better,
I'm going to continue this with a dirt road and place a camping cabins further out...
but you can see. I've used the road skin mod, so these roads have no light
or something like this
> tfw you never gonna have pretty intersections like real life...
"modernism was a mistake"
- Le Corbusier
It a main national road interchange with smaller roads.
The main highway (left to right) goes right through, but has a turning and merging lanes on both sides.
There is a smaller circle in middle that allows one coming from anywhere to make a left or U turn.
This looks pretty good for rural interchanges, but will never happen with such sharp curves...
Just bought CS yesterday and while putzing around I saw some two residential zoned square houses, so now I'm making a cute town of tiny houses and shops.
Anyone know what the smallest footprint industrial zoned buildings will still pop up? And if I ever wanted to build autism efficient are there any reasons to want to build small houses?
That feeling when you start to care to much about your game intersections that you actually read up real road engineering manuals...
I'm actually starting to do this now, reason is I have the realistic population mod (in vanilla game there is too few pop in big buildings)
In practice the big houses have the same capacity as small ones, so building 2x2 squares at time might give better picture of a suburban area...
Just build factory bigs, they can be build smaller, but models are ugly...
Yeah, I was just about to start taking down data and doing some maths just to see about population per square. But first I want to find the smallest footprints which looks to be two squares for regular residential and industrial (which does look silly), and 2x2 for commercial. If this town makes it to high density I'll also check those out.
Thanks! I'll definitely add this to my mods list, which I figure I'll mess with in about a week, I want to play vanilla for now though.
Say what you want about traffic++, but the smart AI is definite must have....
> death wave
just found out my girlfriend sister got beat up by boyfriend...
don't freaking die on me again /cbg/
I'd say they're a little too big if anything. They just look small because vehicles are way too large for how wide the roads are.
Pic related. Look at the size of the cars compared to the width of the avenue.
apology for poor english
when were u when collossall order take our dollar and leave
i was sat at home build zone commerce when when Moo ring
'/cbg/ is die'
I don't know how to change video resolution to get smaller, higher bitrate webms. I use Shadowplay to record gameplay.
>they took down webms for retards coz it contained the word "retard"
I use windows 10, but i'm sick of it. I'm planing to reinstall windows 7. What do you guys think? what is a good a OS for gaming? I mainly play dota but for some reason i only have about 30 fps, with win7 i had 120 fps. These are my specs pic related
general OS thread i think
>inb4 windows fag
how do i get my little dipshits to start using highways? they're all just driving on the congested 2 lane city streets meanwhile a 10 lane highway goes completely unused.
i've got lots of on/off ramps spread out too
>better os for gaming... yeah mate....
I'm sorry to say but windows 7 is a pain to install (as is any windows)
but why don't you try some linux distro? dota and CS both work well here...
maybe try dual boot with steam OS?
>high density residential buildings
do i just go for commie buildings everywhere now
I'm not sure how to proceed now and whether there's still a point in making a hideous suburban sprawl.
How do I justify having a 4x4 tile villa next to a 1x1 shack with the residential zoning
I've never seen such discrepancies in the suburbs, and it's really bugging me. Either I just leave that zone empty, or I have completely everything completely grid so all the zone tiles are always aligned.
Having your industry and commercial/residential sharing a single highway junction is going to give you massive problems in really short order. Consider buying the land tile north of your city and segregating traffic.
Segregate zones, eliminate traffic
dear god matey, I've seen ugly cities, but you got a talent...
The slow way to do it is to zone 1x1 residential in a pattern along the road leaving alternate 1x1 blocks unzoned.
Then you wait for your 1x1 zones to build their 1x1 shacks. Finally, you zone the blank blocks et voila - a full row of 1x1 shacks.
> Segregate zones, eliminate traffic
that's not really how it works no....
as is reality you rather have commerce right next to where your people live, they will have to travel that distance to work and shop for stuff...
Industrial too but you rather have them away from residences due to pollution/noise, every one will have to go to work and go back home, but lots of cargo come and go from industrial, so you rather have them nearby your highways, but small good trucks also go from industrial to your commerce, so its better to have your commerce near your city avenues as well, midway between industry and residence...
by the way zoning 1x1 block is really bad idea, I think they have only level 1 buildings... pretty ugly too...
the way I'm doing now is buildin 2 blocks as front and extend the yard as far as it goes 2x2-3-4
My picture is simplified. I usually mix commercial and residential zones so that there's always a commercial zone at least 1 city block near residential. Industry should be kept away from Comm/Resi traffic flows
> that feeling when
I never get these kinds of intersections...
this is what I was looking for!
>everything suddenly turns yellow
we are almost in full panic mode here
i guess one could mess with the theme manager and only use houses that are similar in size.
Has anyone here tried Lethis? If so, can you tell me how it compares to the old sierra city builders?
Not really a big fan of how it looks but if it's a solid game I'll get it.
I have and do, regularly.
I love linux, but it is not for the end-user in 99% of situations and it definitely is not for gaming.
If you have trouble installing windows but none with linux, you're using a lot of shit generic drivers and suffering massive performance penalties as a result.
And stop using ellipses, you 13 year old twat.
What do you think? The balcony will be in French style.
Centrally located for easy access.
Thanks for sharing that pack
I'm having too much fun fucking around with the river settings, going to download some good ship grfs for this
>And stop using ellipses, you 13 year old twat.
I gave up on installing windows 7 64x with efi booting... its impossible...
maybe win8 they improved the installer a bit, but for comparison: installing simple ubuntu takes 20~30 min, windows takes hours...
if you're only going next-next-next is probably because you don't know what it is doing...
>is not for gaming
Steam OS bitch!
now seriously, way off topic thread
I never said to use them outside of intersections
holy fuck that's a lot of water, and I thought my map had already too much (pic related)
If you are using FIRS (as you should), start with fishing, it's one of the most profitable business to follow and it gives you a nice and stable income before going all in with trains...that is, if you even have space to build train tracks with such a map
>installing simple ubuntu takes 20~30 min, windows takes hours...
>if you're only going next-next-next is probably because you don't know what it is doing...
It's... installing the OS.... That's what it's doing... There isn't anything else it can be doing...
Hours? What the fuck are you talking about? If you're talking about raw installation time, then that depends on your PC, not the OS you're trying to install unless the OS is really fucked up.
Have you thought that maybe you're just bad at this? It's the drivers and the availability of programs that makes the difference between the 2 OS's, not the fucking installation process.
Windows 10 will install in under 30 minutes with full updates and all your drivers.
If you have already signed in to a windows 10 computer and use a microsoft account as a login, it also syncs all your contacts, universal applications, settings, backgrounds, themes, etc
If you can't figure out UEFI booting with windows, you're a fucking idiot
Steam OS is an OpenGL client with filters and predesigned settings for popular OpenGL games. It still suffers all the driver performance issues that all other linux distributions have.
You're an idiot.
But I think I'm going to cheat some money, rename this town to Atlantis and rebuild it instead.
Also, I think I might be able to build some train lines, but it seems like god has already decided where the main ones will be running.
I've got to look into that finnish trainset.
Main menu > NewGRF Settings > (With FIRS selected) Set parameters
installing linux (ubuntu or similar) is straight forward:
>check, keyboard, mouse, internet, partition, username, install
I got a recent all-in-one pc for my farther, it came with win8, if you followed the OEM setup windows it self took 2h to start (thats a pre-installed setup...)
then I went I tried windows 7, because, that’s what he liked... couldn't get efi booting to work, simply because almost none of the installation media come with it... got it to boot, mouse and keyboard wouldn't work... because the f*ing usb drivers weren't working....
and thats not 3.0 usb ports no fucken usb driver for fucks sake...
then after the failure with win7 we decided to settle on win10, the fucking update process took 3 hours at least.... as it also did on my gf new laptop... so don't fucking say it is a breeze...
Windows may have some positive points, but its installation process is definitely not one of them...
Did they change the name of the industries on FIRS2?
Because I am still playing on the second to last version of the patchpack which is only compatible with FIRS1 and they are called fishing grounds and harbours and you connect those two to make a profitable fishing route.
One tip: don't go crazy with trainsets, most of them are not really made to work with each other and you get crazy price fluctuations between trains from different sets.
Also: disable inflation, always disable inflation on every game that is not 100% vanilla
I suppose you are playing with the newer FIRS, which has different names apparently, anyway I have this for fishing.
On fishing grounds you have to actually click a specific tile (the highest one on the north corner) when setting orders, even if the actual "industry" is spread across multiple tiles.
so try clicking around if you can't set orders.
A screenshot might help, if the problem persists
Pic related, the greenie thing circled red is your dock.
I used to play without breakdowns, they were just plain annoying, but from this patchpack's notes, I'll try them out
They're called both, seemingly
And I never mix trainsets, don't worry about that. Didn't think about the inflation thing though, will do.
Wait nevermind, sandbank is the harbor's name, it's still fishing grounds
Nope, no breakdowns for me too, even if the patchpack I use has some new cool breakdowns which are slightly less annoying (trains get variable damage and they slow down instead of stopping, with variable speed penalty depending on the damage sustained), but they still make a mess so i turned them off anyway.
I just upgraded a good bunch of my trains, which caused a slight delay in the delivery of stuff to a station, which in turn caused cargodist to panic and throw yellow and orange lines all around the network.
god this is going to be a pain to fix
should I leave the tracks as crossing the road or elevate/tunnel the road?
also I need a station for passengers
Should I just build it on the straight red line (before the river) or make the yellow thing?
Had to deactivate Traffic Manager....
Traffic isn't halfbad, even without better AI enabled
another one done...
next to work on the abomination main interchange
lmao r u running a serber? :DDD
stop using distros meant to be super stable and designed to receive only critical security updates in their release life cycle and use instead something bleeding edge, retards.
>tfw this crawling motherfucker won't get an upgrade for at least 25 more years
god why did I choose to use this wagon as the backbone of my network?!
And I'm playing with extended day length so 25 years will take forever
are you talking to me?
I'm on debian for years now, was 'testing' before it became stable,
I'm making a switch to Arch but its going slow...
how do you got a bigger UI, mine was tiny...
does exchange between transport ( A->B->C ) happens automatically, why is there a exchange option?
what the timetable, got nothing from that...
yelp... I think gonna excercise my autism and hand pick buildings for my city :'(
>how do you got a bigger UI, mine was tiny...
there is a mod to get from the ingame downloader called "BigUI"
>does exchange between transport ( A->B->C ) happens automatically, why is there a exchange option?
Can you show me what you are talking about? It might be a feature I never use so you might have to refresh my memory with a screenshot
>what the timetable, got nothing from that...
the timetable is supposed to make your life easier if you want to have scheduled departures/arrivals at stations or to have your vehicles spaced equally on their route, useful for passenger services.
basically, it measures the time it takes for a vehicle to reach its destinations and the time it spends at a station to make some sort of travel plan for all the vehicles with the same orders to follow.
have a read at this, it's kinda complicated to explain here
>exchange between transport ( A->B->C )
I meant like for, passanger wants to get to C, he takes a transport to B then another to C,
I think there is a option of this for cargo, unload button
I think you are looking for the "transfer" order.
with a transfer order any passenger or cargo is unloaded at the station and it stays in that station until something else picks it up, even if there is an accepting industry in range of the station.
anyway, if you play with cargodist enabled for passengers (settings>environment>cargo distribution>distribution mode for passengers. Manual means cargodist is disabled, symmetric/asymmetric is enabled) you might not need the transfer order as every passenger already has a destination set and they won't leave any station until they reach it, so you can get away with unload orders too in this case.
so your typical order list could be:
station A: normal order or full load order
station B: transfer order
station B: normal order or full load order
station C: unload order
Thread's dead, babies.
I don't really have anything to contribute except for pretty(?) screenshots
is flux the new filter thingy to take night pictures now?
you... silly you...
no, f.lux is a utility that softens your monitor's light so your eyes don't burn out at night
It has the downside of making all your screenshots orange-ish if you forget to turn it off
Might as well make one, I always end up adding as many Japanese mods as I can to city building games.
Some buildings look vaguely European even with the building set disabled. Not sure if I like that.
This is it, /cbg/.
I'm tired of being a kissless NEET. I'm tired of being obese because I can only afford to eat top ramen and hot pockets.
I'm going to jump. Stay away from--
--I SAID STAY AWAY FROM ME.
Don't fucking tell me not to jump. I'm gonna do it. You can't stop me.
No no no please don't call my mom.
>you'll never live across the street from TWO arcade joints
>add new expansion to city
They do, you just have the option of disabling destinations if you want
Damn I feel like trying simutrans but I don't feel like learning a whole new game again, especially when I'm so comfy with ottd
Same ro wood industry. I dont mind the factories but wtf is going on with those fields of trees? And if you put them next to normal industry, they look even worse thx to pollution
I tried out the map generator mod.
It doesn't seem to play well with modded roads at all.
I was using 4gb and was getting 15 fps and lots of stuttering but i've upgraded to 16gb and it is running really smooth now. Just checked, the game is using 11.6gb with a bunch of mods and assets atm.
i have 8gb of ram and 224 assets/mods, it uses up almost all of my ram so yeah, 16gb to be on the safe side. when browsing the workshop you have to show some restraint coz i sure can't :^).
I was on holidays in a small village close to Bordeaux. It looked strange but you could clearly see the fields of trees. It's especially funny because the trees in adjacent fields are mostly quite obviously several years in age apart. So while driving trough the forest has these sudden jumps in height all the time.
Same thing here in Finland. The effect is furthered by the fact that most of them are pine trees. When the wind blows through them, you can almost imagine them to be monster-sized fields of wheat.
that's really not uncommon..
this is in brazil, what do you think people logged from natural forests?
Actually yes. Here eucaliptos go to paper manufacture. Other things are used for furniture and construction. (wood used in construction is wasted wood here as retarded masons don't re-used their wooden supports they simply throw them away or burn). And probably a large ammount of wood comes from illegal sources.
>tfw Farquhar probably took more wood from brazil than we ever managed to legally extract ourselves.
You can see they are for paper because they are very thin, they can't be used for anything else but charcoal or paper.
goddamn... way to raise expectations without giving any hint as to what it is...
Yup there are. But good wood comes from the forests. There are legal ways of harvesting wood.
>one log costing 20k dollars
From what I could gather we use the following lots of of diferent kinds of wood for construction. We have more tree especies than america and europe toguether soo..
>Fava-de-orelha-de-negro (nigger ears lel)
same as above plus others like
Most of these can't be grown in large plantations like Pines or Eucaliptus (which can be used for structures) and must be extracted, slowly replanted.
>use the following lots of of
Had to re-write the sentence a few times and lost track of it. You may be wondering why a tree is called nigger ear. Source of this shit: dad is an architect and has to deal with painstakingly dumb civil engineers and laborers and that includes wood workers and every one else who is to dumb to learn right and left in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. We also have a candy called nigger tits if you are interested.
bumping with a lake & museum he designed . He actually has to make shitty choices and hold back when designing because bumfuckers in the middle of no-where-stan have a terrible asthetics.
I actually had to cut back those lists a lot. They were 3 pages each.
> So, you want better performance and improvements to already existing features
> Oh too bad we're working on the xbox port...
> Maybe you could play another game?
> Oh geez, we're the only decent city building game in the last 10 years,
oh geeezz that's terrible
I have the game, but its a hassle to have steam open all the time for it (plus it kinda takes its toll on memory too)
And may backup my current install for possible buggy update...
its seriously looking like seasons will be a thing.
I'll be needing that walkway asset...
>Tons of farmland
>Fukket, argi industry
>Start building high-density commercial
>University, improve highschool
>Suddenly no workers for farms
Hows my grid, /cbg/. I'm trying to make a very uniform and orderly city. This is where the poor underclasses will live.
these university kids, never wanting to work...
Anyone up for a "quick" multiplayer session with OpenTTD?
I was thinking of something like stock everything, except for FIRS, ISR for better looking station, BigUI so we can actually see the UI and maybe a trainset or two to kill the boringness of the stock vehicles.
And either a 4096x2048 or a 2048x1024 map.
Easy shit, total comfiness
exercised a lot of autism getting this "right"
working really well...
I'm calling this one the 'bikini hills'
looks neat, but does having a three lane on the exits do anything? the third lane looks like it's not being used.
oh they, work so well traffic almost left..
even though there is no arrow there they merge, I had to set a few lane rules with traffic++ to make sure vehicles going to the highway use the merging lane and the other two stick to their lanes.
Having at most 2x square plots, works, but still looks ugly as shit, not enough buidlings
I did something though, using 'Building Themes' mod, I've setting a theme with only the residential in this low sizes, and cloning between them levels, so it should give more variation
sorry, am little hungry...
don't let it die you fucken perverts!!!
/cbg/ must always be near death, it wouldn't be /cbg/ otherwise
We might get new life with CO's big announcement tomorrow though
sure hope they won't take paradoxes aproach when it comes to bullshit dlc/expansions,
>CO is the independent developers
Really? I thought they were another one of Paradox's whores. So instead it's more like Risk of Rain and Chucklefuck games? That's good to hear.
How often do you find yourself just observing your city? I got lost earlier looking at an intersection.
booted up skylines for the first time
loading screen dumps this in my face
what did i do
even the filename laughed at me
Check what mods you have active. Could be something incompatible since the last time you played. Also check which LUT you are using because most pre-AD LUTs are garbage with the new Night-Day cycle
If he uses Traffic Manager to set priority roads (white and yellow diamond) on one axis and set side roads to give way/yield, he should be alright. That's how it works in the UK
It can't handle any none-vanilla road properly.
I love Cimtographer, but I don't like the GoogleMap style and there's no ruleset that matches OpenStreet's default style unfortunately.
I choose death.
My cargo rail is semi-isolated from passenger rail. The two don't join until the inter-city mainline and any stations along the way have an express by-pass line that runs straight past the station. Trains seem intelligent enough not to try passing through stations they don't use.
>those undulating, raised cargo rails through residential neighbourhoods
>that triangular suspension bridge over a small stream
>the twisting road bridge on the right that shoots off into the sky like a firework
>that non-functioning dam
Assuming this isn't a badly photoshopped troll post (why is that Chirpy so damn large?)Is this the best that CO's talent search for aesthetic city builders can come up with? Even with the vanilla game, your city should look better than a 4-year old's interpretation of the world. Status: Rustled.
no mods, fresh install. I just bought the game because it looked neato.
Having seen what CO offered us last year this is probably just "Arctic Biome" or something like that. I am not expecting changing weather based on seasons.
I'd rather see changing traffic patterns based on a 24-hour pattern. I miss the CiM2 rush hours. "Night time" activity isn't deep enough I'm afraid
I had shit like that happen to me when I was starting an old map on which I used to play with Dynamic Resolution mod.
Try to make a shortcut to the game, set a fixed resolution with the command line, like 800x600 and give it a try. I forgot what was the exact command, so you'll have to look it up.
And i was just about to come back with a new pc after my old one burned down.
I guess vanilla it is then...
>Parallel streets mode for building when?
How can trainfever have it but not cs?
does this map work for you guys? when i load it up the entire map is flat green and i can't do anything on it
Skylines - Snowfall confirmed
>In Snowfall, the difficulty heats up when the city cools down, thanks to a new in-game temperature reading that will have residents bundling up for warmth when the weather outside is frightful. Cosmetic weather, composed of rain and fog, will be added to Cities: Skylines as part of a free update, along with other features to be announced soon. Players who own Snowfall will get to face new challenges such as ensuring that their city infrastructure can handle seasonal heating demands – and, when the snow starts falling, that the roads can stay clear. New snowplow services will be required to prevent traffic from freezing in place, while new all-weather trams and expanded public transit options can help residents and visitors alike get around town – and visit the new winter parks and landmarks available in Snowfall.
Snowfall will include:
>Now is the Winter of This Content: Rain and fog for existing maps, plus a new “Winter” map theme with snow and all of its challenges
>The Streetcars You Desire: Expanded public transportation options, including easier management of existing lines – and Trams, a new system demanded by fans
>World Warmth, Too: Cold weather increases demands for electricity, unless new water-based heat systems are in place
>Plowers to the People: Build a snowplow depot to keep traffic flowing during winter weather, and employ new road maintenance systems to keep your streets in shape
> ohh so you want improvements to existing features...
> ohh, but we're gonna slap another half assed planned DLC on you
> ohhh you don't like it?
> ohh too bad we're the only decent city building game around
> ohhh geezz that's terrible...
>a new building to plop and function basically the same as every other building we can plop
and they're going to charge for this? LMAO
I could never get into CKII. All the cool stuff that AAR's seem to gloat about was locked for me.
>You don't have enough gold!
>You don't have enough prestige!
>Diplomacy Answer is "NO"
>You can't change laws with the current crown authority
Wars are pointless when the enemy has unlimited stacks of doom and all my allies refuse to join the wars. I basically spend 5 hours at max speed watching the AI enjoy itself. Then my ruler dies and I never had a child because the only people available for the King to marry were Baron's daughters from hostile countries.
>This will cost you 500 Prestige for marrying a Lowborn!
I need help /cbg/, i can't for the life of me figure out why that road won't be served by the fire station even though the rest of the city, even distant places, will be.
I already checked all the possible one way issues and there are at least two clear paths that the fire engines could take but still nothing.
I have the same problem with the police station also.
What can be done?
