Why was everybody so convinced that Nagito poisoned the fire grenade? It seems to me that the only evidence that he did it was the lid under his bed and the poison in his refrigerator. That doesn't seem like it's overwhelmingly decisive evidence that that's what he did, even if that's what actually happened. Am I forgetting something else that points to the poison grenade?

He also had protective equipment for pouring the poison, some of the poison was missing, and it fit in with why he was on the ground and wanted to delay the sprinkler system in the first place. Monokuma telling everyone the specifics about the poison pretty much confirmed it.

Junko is their main girl, with Celes being the prime minister.

Chihiro, Mukuro, Ryoko (DRzero's Junko), Kirigiri, Chiaki and Asahina are rare presences, but i have seem one or two of them.

I don't know about that. Even in the desperate situation they were in, they were both pretty innocent in what happened to them. It would take a lot more than the motives they were given to want them to justify killing.

Ishimaru doesn't even try to sneak in to look at Alter Ego when that was his only motivation to keep on living, to the point where he closed himself off from everyone else. He always took the morally high ground because that was always a part of his character.

I have two mindfics where Ishimaru kills Mondo, they are stuck in DR2 case4, and they decided to have a duel to save everyone.

After Ishimaru gets correctly picked, he confess he only hid his crime because he was afraid Monokuma would not consider it valid, the trial was solved in a instant, and he would put everyone back on starvation, making Mondo and Ishimaru's sacrifices in vain.

My other mindfic is Chihiro and Togami ending up killing Mondo and the Ogre.

Chihiro tells Mondo his secret, Mondo calls him bad names and tries to hit, Chihiro runs away.

Togami takes notice of what is happening and go after Chihiro, Chihiro tells his secret to Togami, who had a killing plan in mind, Togami says he does not mind and what matters, is that he (Chihiro) is smart, Chihiro, being praised for being smart and not for being a pretty "girl", buys Togami's words and decides to work with him.

Chihiro climbs on Togami's shoulders and disconect that changing room's Minigun from the ceiling, and transform Mondo into fucking swiss Cheese, the rooms were soundproof, but a 50.cal shooting around is too much, the Ogre decides to check what the fuck was that.

After killing Mondo, Chihiro lets go of the handle and stays next to the body, the ogre arrives, and sees Togami wielding a minigun, a dead Mondo and a scared Chihiro, she charges Togami, who defends himself with the Minigun, killing the Ogre.

And that one with Chihiro, well.

Togami has the power of persuasion, added to fact that Chihiro is mostly thought as pretty instead of smart, also is a spin on case 3, Celestia could manipulate Yamada, i think Togami could manipulate a stronger minded person.

Yamada could have simply called Ishimaru out on the accusations of rape and steal, but the power of the tough girl makes a puppy face, overrode his logic drive.

Also, i find hard to accept that a fatty like Yamada could kill the athetic Ishimaru, let alone pull a stealth kill on him.

In my opinion, its all about the tech.

Headcanon Alert

Monaca wanted to throw Towa City in despair by making everyone blinded by revange, Towa City served as the headquarters of despair gang, so it was spared from the tragedy, the city alone is a rival to the FF, due to the fact that Junko and her minions developed many "toys" in there.

With Junko's death, Towa city broke off from their alliance with despair, if Towa city joined the FF, the F Foundation would be repair the world in no time since TCity are the main holders of advanced tech.

TCity made the monokumas and weapons to destroy them, and probably they made technology to repair parts of world, from the TCity point of view, the tragedy made them into the new world order, replacing the Togamis, in the tragedy destroyed world, the Towas replaced the Togamis, only to be replaced upstarting FF.

That whole kids revolution was a ploy to make FF pull a nuke-out on Towa City, if they found about the Monokuma factory, along side with the dead children, they would destroy the city, alongside with things that could repair the world.

Monaca wanted to make a succesor, and salt the earth to hinder FF's efforts to repair the despaired world, the monokuma factory could be rebuild somewhere else.

I belive Nagito went along because he belived the hope's symbols could make their own shit to repair the world, ergo, to build their own future, and render all that ploy about letting the world remain broken null and void.

He was willing to kill himself and everyone else to rig the voting so that he would never admit that Mondo was actually a murderer. Ishimaru admired him because he was was the only person who agreed to be his friend and treat his as something other than a nuisance. If there was no other way out, I seriously doubt that he would intentionally try to put both of their lives at risk if it would break up their friendship. The premise is that sympathy is a lie to trim the numbers of students, his plan backfire as he need to defend himself.

That scenario is a copy of case 4 from DR2, they are starving, Ishimaru didn belive the cast could be a bunch of cold blooded murderers, like Chiaki, he wanted to belive in everyone being nice.

On agreed terms, i can see Ishimaru sacrificing himself, Mondo would refuse to simply die and let his gang unchecked, he wouldn selfishly leave Ishimaru behind to die, and Ishimaru would not kill anyone, nor let Mondo kill someone if he know about it, i can see Mondo having some sort of agreement sacrifise versus starving versus selfishly killing someone and leaving everyone to die.

I did read the manga. First of all I don't remember that happening. Second of all it doesn't matter. Either you duel and you try to sacrifice everybody else for your own life or you take your own life. This "I had a duel but the only reason I didn't tell was because I thought Monokuma would think it wouldn't count" thing is dumb.

Plus it's too close to what happens in 2-4 despite it not being clearly in Mondo or Taka's character. Gundham and Nekomaru are just the type of people who would relish an ultimate battle to the death. Mondo and Taka, meh not really. I could see Mondo cracking and then just murdering somebody but I imagine Taka would probably just starve to death; half because of moral reasons and half because I assume he's not a fighter.

It'd make no sense for Gundham to go through all the trouble he went through to cover it up just to spill the beans. If he did though, Junko would have no choice but to play by the rules.

Post the page where Taka offers his life to Mondo, I don't remember that at all. The motivation for a death battle makes no sense for somebody who is ultimately doing it to save everybody else's life. Taka would just come off as either a deranged idiot who killed one more person than he had to or a liar who knew he'd get caught and tried to save face before he died.

Well, I'm not the anon who was making the point in the first place. But I think he means that just like how Mario (Or any big name character) must be in every Smash game, Monokuma should also be in every Danganronpa game. Is about being iconic.

with Hajime being the Ultimate Hope and Kazuichi being the Ultimate Mechanic, they can probably help increase the chances of everyone waking up, and they said they would stay on the Island to see if they could help their comatose friends

Nagito died knowing it was a virtual world, and hes the Ultimate lucky student. so what are the chances he'll wake up?
