This game is a clusterfucked snorefest.

I've played through the snow areas up to level 34 this week. I wasn't challenged once and pretty much soloed my way into it without having to build up a group and think up tactic or whatever. Just smashing my keyboard because the skill cooldowns are so damned fast and there's no downside to spamming spells.

Does this pick up at some point? Or was it designed to be an epic rollercoaster when you join up spontaneous crowds to complete random events on the go?

Is there a better MMORPG than GW2 right now?

I'd like to see Elona, since games rarely do good desert/Mideast content, but we're kinda full up on generic desert after DT and SW. I'd want to see more savannah type stuff.

Cantha is an entire continent to explore with two opposing factions which could give lots of content. Plus they could even use it to introduce a new evil to the game.

Ring of Fire is a volcanic zone true but they could go more into it since that is where the gods dropped off the bloodstone so it could be a potential raid I suppose.

That just might be your feelings for a desert location. But look at your map and look at how huge they are. Its a lot of potential content due to being such a large region to explore.

But with how reworks work in guild wars 2. Do you really see yourself doing this boss over and over when you could be doing new dungeons due to older content being nerfed? This boss is a one time a day thing when instead numerous dungeons with multiple paths will prove to be more entertaining.

Fractals could have had potential, but were butchered every single time instead of putting work into it once. The fractured update showed promise, but there was literally no follow-up to it. Fractals, one of the big points of the core game are just shit.
WvW, one of the advertised features is abandoned by the devs because of "muh esports".
PvP is just playing against yourself, there is literally no fun in bunkering the game modes, the new game mode is trash too. Players were telling anet that they didn't want PvE elements in their PvP, and then created stronghold. Fantastic joke. Conquest will always be more defensive oriented.
PvE should be good with raids, no idea about that so I am not going to say anything.
Maybe one day the esports trash is going to stop, hell even AoE 2 has more esports than this and doesn't force it at all

I'd really only want that if it's what the whole game was focused on where you could either get faithful immersion or lots of depth to show the nuance and differences from regular chinaland. A weeaboo add-on just uses the setting as a shorthand, so players see "ah, it's asia" and then they fill in the details themselves, ensuring it will be the most shallow representation possible.

Yes, I do. I still go out of my way to do teq, sometimes as a warm up to the rest of the time I spend in gw2. I haven't done the Shitterer on purpose in years.

It could be an issue with luck but I didn't find raids that rewarding. I did receive an ascended chest piece which is alright though. But that's what I expected, while many members of my party did not obtain one. You could say this is a part of raiding but if the wing is only 3 bosses I expect to be able to gear up my party properly. Especially since odds are I already have ascended gear if I am there in the first place.

When they add content to the game it's often incomplete such as the fractal wings. Like whats the hold up on that right?

As for the pvp content I don't pvp much so I am not too aware of that although the new map is horrible.

The rewards in this game were always "meh" at best, I don't understand it at all, honestly. I remember doing PvE while Lion's Arch was build up again, dungeons gave at least 1g and you did them within 10 minutes at most, but fractals gave 2g total for a minimum of 40 minutes. Their reward system is really bad, I believe you get more rewards for the daily login than playing any further than that.

Actually, no, I do teq for the karma/gold/burst of mats. I would pity anyone who does teq only with the hope of getting an ascended box. I've gotten a couple and they're not frequent enough to expect. Dungeons do not provide the same volume of mats/gold/karma. Definitely not now.

Actually many people do it just for that. Because there are numerous ways to receive mats at a better pace. The karma is not bad though. Dungeons were amazing this recent change to them was awful and destroyed something the game did well. I still enjoy doing dungeon paths though.

The whole Crown Pavilion felt somehow rewarding, you could do whatever you wanted there. Wanted to do some 1v1 challenge? Go to the upper bosses, wanted to just brainlessly zerg around? Go kill the lower bosses.
The most fun to me was definitely the Marionette or Triple Trouble, granted you had to be on an organized TS for the latter. The rewards for the Marionette were decent too, but Triple Trouble had trash rewards. A lot of the game needs a complete overhaul, anet should stop trying to do everything at once and put effort into one game mode, bring it to 100%. Then go to the next, polish it up, rinse and repeat. 3 months per game mode would be the best. 3 months for pure PvP like maps, gamemodes. 3 months for PvE like adding new raids or dungeons. 3 months for WvW to add features. While they do all that they have 1 team working on balancing the whole time and release balance patches regularly.
