I like it!
I poofed the sun away.
So how's that Direnni Tower doing, friend?
Is it better to have these settings on or off? I like to be able to tab but I'm not sure if it effects performance, crashing or anything else.
I have no idea where the cubemap is from, but there's that and the two metal maps I quickly threw together.
>Go to my manor where I stash my wife and daughter

>Just as I'm about to dive into her taco platter my skooma addiction I developed since I last saw her swings into gear

Skooma, one hell of a drug.
All Hail the Waifu Empire!
Yeah man that
magiccircle totally appeared on it's own, not like she cast it or anything. Yup, totally mundane here.
hey, I liked that thing, give it back.
I think anyone posting animoo shit would be nice to me, because weebs are humble, kindhearted people.
Shouldn't you waifufags all moved to /fog/? Or not enough sex mods yet?
Eh. Fallout was fun to play for the time that I was going through the story. Once there was nothing left, I didn't want to do anymore playthroughs, I didn't want to make more characters, and I didn't feel like the environment was suited for my waifan. I like forests and mountains, swords & sorcery. Post-apocalyptic is actually one of my least favorite fantasy settings. I don't even like the movies.
Modding for FO4 is only beginning atm.
It's a different setting so it will never fully replace Skyrim anyway. Also /fog/ is pretty weird these days.
I haven't even bothered with Fallout 4. Apparently it's a complete downgrade from New Vegas (except graphically).
That game spoiled me and has ruined many RPG's for me.
I remember when skyrim was released the shitposting went down majorly. I really have no interest in Fallout 4 so I've been replaying the old elderscrolls games. Except Arena that was terrible
I figured as much, why bethesda can't write dialogue is beyond me. They could have at least tried to replicate what New Vegas did well at
I enjoyed the combat, weapon modifications, and settlement building system. Graphics were nice too, and I was glad they had a much better character generator than Fo3/NV, but yeah other than those aspects it's not all that great.
>mfw i started attempting to fix my modded skyrim 6 hours ago
>mfw nothing i did worked
>it is now 6 hours later
KILL ME PLEASE
Fair enough. Most of that can be fixed with mods though. I remeber hearing that the settlement system in Fo4 was ripped from the RTS mod for 3/NV
Does anyone know a mod that puts combatants in a mercy status every time? I have mercy installed but that just stops them from attacking after the animation.
I fancy doing an old sage sorta run. Disarming attackers and such.
>Bethesda's new game features are copied from the work of modders
I feel that overall FO4 is a better game than FO3.
Tried F03 and it always feeled dated and clunky.
Obviously storywise is NV better obviously.
with defeat you can tie people up. works really well. i dont use submit much since i already have defeat but Submit works rather well.i use to have major issues with both but that was because i was shit at modding/defeat use to be really buggy
since you asked
Fallout 4 engine and game play definitely improved. While there wasn't much to improve on story wise, Fallout 4 sort of went sideways, but then backwards for really locking you into the kind of person you can be. Overall, as far as I am concerned:
It's better than 3, but only just in some aspects.
A lot of features feel unfinished or half done or not really as fleshed out as they should be.
You'll have fun, get your moneys worth, but will feel really let down the more you go into it.
Jack of all trades, at a mediocre or worse level.
Your mod probably has a lot of scripts and adds a lot of shit that you'll probably get tired off over time. The one I linked allows you to customize a lot of things. Your pick.
I hate that I'm trapped in this limbo where I'm enough of a pathetic perverted shutin to waste time installing fetish porn skyrim mods and cranking up the graphics with ENB, but not dedicated enough to put in the effort learning how to configure *just the right ones* or spend hours posing them just right for perfect artsy slut screenshots.
I keep a 'vanilla skyrim' backup folder and a confirmed working 'modded skyrim' folder that I back up after successful modding sessions that I can just copy and paste into my directory if something fucks up, this kind of thing has literally never happened to me.
>that feel when you break the porn addiction ,quit masturbating and not compelled to install/use all these retarded hypersexualized mods in the slightest
feels good man, you should try it
Are you even trying?
And this is just mods. Skyrim folder itself is 8gb.
>tfw stuck with 1-2k texture packs to retain at least 40 fps with a good enb
How do you get your frames capped to 60 in borderless window mode? enb vsync, fps limit and driver vsync won't work.
Skyrim folder is 29.2 GB, MO modfolder is 35.7 GB.
Skyrim Folder is 20.9GB while my mods folder is 16.5GB.
Main reason why it's small now is due to reinstalling my game.
Does the bulk of that size come from mods that add entire new questlines to the game or something? I've got 4k textures for pretty much everything in the game and I'm nowhere near that.
>mfw when a program files installer was near me
I have several worldspace mods installed so that's a huge part but there's are also lots of dead stuff in there .
It's basically still my Skyrim folder from 2013.
A lot of it is probably mainly textures unzipped but:
UI 90~ MB
ENB, SKSE, Patches 650 MB~
Replacement sounds 10mb~
Textures 5.64 GB~
NPC Textures, 4~ GB
Gameplay Changes - Minor 10MB~
Gameplay Changes - Combat 100mb~
Gameplay Changes - Major 100MB~
Gameplay changes - Immersion 5.5 gb~!
New items 31 mb~
Followers 1 GB
new armours 4.7 GB~
of my folders that are zipped up for installation.
I just installed high resolution textures to armor, weapons, body, and environment. Coupled with an ENB which enhances lighting and an assortment of other visual effects, it make the game looks 100x better than out of the box.
In that screenshot I'm probably running around 50 FPS. When outdoors, and depending on the location, it can be around 25-40.
I could do more to it for sure, but it'd drop my FPS into the ground.
What the fuck is this line down my face?
Trying out Molag Bal's Inferno, I started off with lust, got to the boss and the bastard absorbs health so quickly. I'm playing sword and board and can't damage him without him quickly replenishing his health. It could be a combat mod but I have my doubts. I tested out with setav my one handed to 1000 and I only just killed him. Is there a trick to it or is the modder a fucking retard that thinks everyone uses exploits and ranged?
Playing mostly vanilla, a few improvements here and there.
I dropped a sword for him, didn't work.
He likes pain, he moans when he gets hit but as I said before, there's no way I can 'satisfy' him without boosting my level to 1000. There's got to be a trick to it.
Does colorful magic add a shit load of OP dragons that start spawning from the start of the game? They come honing in on me and kill everything in town. I get trashed, it's kind of funny but annoying at the same time.
>locking you into the kind of person you can be.
This is always going to be problem with voiced games. In the good old glorious 90s RPGs where spoken dialogue was sparse, you could often choose the tone of your response from a handful of different options. You could choose to be a total asslicker, a sarcastic smartass or a manipulating villain and so on. However in fully voiced games, like Skyrim and FO4 for example, your options are limited because it's too much work to record responses for many vastly different options which ultimately locks your character into what the developers want and kills the illusion of roleplaying.
>Does colorful magic add a shit load of OP dragons that start spawning from the start of the game?
Colorful Magic places a few OP dragons at certain locations, but they don't randomly spawn so they shouldn't be coming for you in towns. So it's probably some other mod you have.
If you get the mfg console mod you can click on the dragons with the console open and it'll tell you what mod they're from
I'm not sure, I can only say that I indeed had some other dragons mod and dragons were bullshit: barely killable, spawned in the randomest locations, and appeared even before I started the dragonborn questline
Not to mention the same line can be delivered in many ways, with vastly different results.
With your imagination, you could deliver the same line in many different ways. In Fallout 4, every single player is going to hear the same line the same way... and with a shitty delivery as well.
Colorful magic only adds level 50 unscaling horrendously OP bosses to the game along with its spells and weapons, unless you used ASIS and some random necromancer chucklefuck got one of the dragon summons
That's the new Skyre right? Why do you want it, if it's for the perks I think /tesg/'s current go-to is Ordinator+SPERG.
PerMa, like Requiem and Skyre before it, tends to conflict with everything.
Who is this semen supplier?
>Use LOOT to make sure load order's good
>Suddenly problems with FloppySOS
Fuck. I don't suppose someone knows if it flailing around like a soul escaping hell when looking in certain directions is caused by?
Also had a weird thing of HDT capes, hair and items getting jittery in certain directions as well beforehand but FloppySOS was fine until now.
By SOS, you mean Schlongs?
After you sorted with LOOT make sure you double check it, edit it yourself, then add metadata to the plugins in LOOT to make sure it has to sort it correctly.
It ain't perfect.
>In Fallout 4, every single player is going to hear the same line the same way... and with a shitty delivery as well.
To be honest, instead of quest expansions, I wish FO4 would get DLCs with different main character's personalities or even different completely different settings for the main character. Having to be a parent and a vault dweller makes imagining your characters back story kinda constricting. At least Skyrim lets you ignore the fact that you are a Dragonborn most of the time and mods can completely remove that.
That's a new guy I made, his name's Tristan!
Problem is I can't remember where the SOS stuff was so whatever load order that worked fine beforehand I'm not real sure about. Placing the SOS esp around yields either a crash if before addons, or no fix for the hellish flailing if afterwards now.
I'm wondering if it could be tied into the HDT jittering that other things have when looking in a certain direction. Though it doesn't look like they spazz out when FloppySOS is, more like it's moving around so much it smacks into everything.
Well the thing about being a Dragonborn is that besides having a special snowflake soul, there's zero restriction on what your character is like.
What kind of person is he or she, what race is he or she, what does he or she care about, none of it matters and you can even ignore the entire main quest for a good while at little to no demerit (and your character doesn't constantly bring up BUT I'M DRAGONBORN in dialogue)
In FO4 we have a set personality to be a goody twoshoes, to give a shit about nothing but the kid, and even a legit backstory where the dude is an army vet (and the girl was a lawyer or something?)
More importantly he or she never fucking shuts up about the kid and the main quest is shoved into your face whereever you go.
Yeah, alternate start is going to be harder to do in Fallout 4 and will probably take a while to make. Alternate Start was so critical to actually RP'ing your own character in Skyrim.
For example, you literally cannot NOT tell Piper you're looking for your son if you want her as a follower. The way I was playing, I make it to a big city, ok, gonna try to keep a low profile, tell nobody anything, gather information on the down low, nope all the options lead to the same thing, you gotta tell the bitch and then it gets printed in the fucking newspaper so everyone knows. That is the diametric opposite of my RP intention. That would have to be removed in alternate start. There's tons of dialogue like that in the game.
Seems they put a huge chunk of effort and development resources into the new dialog system, voiced PC, and settlement building. Those are three things I would not care for at all in TESVI. I would rather they spend all that effort and hours elsewhere. I would even rather they leave it like Skyrim and work on graphics and animations over any of that.
I just hope we don't get some kind of Dragon Age bullshit, fucking hated those games, I tried to like them man I don't know why but I tried
How do you do that exploit in Morrowind to create super constant effects items? I've never done it before and I think it may have been "fixed" in the Code Patch, because raising enchanting or intelligence to extreme levels doesn't seem to affect the magnitude of items you try to enchant. 4000 int still only let me create a fortify int +8 belt.
It's a cool gimmick but it takes away from the world imo. I would have give up settlement building entirely for a couple set-piece towns like Megaton or Rivet City with a theme + NPCs, nothing in FO4 appealed to me, Diamond City and Goodneighbor scuked. Settlement building just feels empty and underdeveloped, generic NPCs barely do anything except walk around, oh wow a trade route (it just lets you share inventory lol), jesus they have a foundation for a cool RTS-like side game and they did nothing with it.
I think the reason "immersive" and "lore-friendly" became buzzwords in Skyrim modding is because people recognized Beth built a good world and modders would put in extra effort to integrate their content in a way that doesn't clash with what Beth established, and it's something that other people care about too. In Fallout 4 it was like - here's 12 pieces of land, just fuck our shit up.
>bethesda knowing how to strategy
>strategy being important in bethesda games
Literally even Dinasty Werriors is more tactical / strategic since they at least MENTION tactics and strats, I mean shit look at the Civil War for all of Tullius' supposed brilliance he wasn't much of a strategy master
Hell where were Ulfric's troops getting their food for the campaign? Is that one fucking blacksmith the one who supplies all of the Stormcloaks? Where ARE the fucking soldiers, the entire civil ''''''''war'''''' is like a hundred dudes on each side, if that passes for war in the Empire no wonder the thalmor are winning
If this mod is just a mesh and texture replacer, why would it require a Perkus Maximus patch? In that case, would it require an ordinator patch?
The entire civil war involves fewer people than the average band o' vikings irl and all of Skyrim doesn't add up to the population of a single county in the middle ages.
What's Skyrim's governing title anyway? I know the ruler is the High King, so is that like a duke or something?
The problem with Skyrim is the fact that many of the quests only give two choices; doing as you're told or ignoring the quest. For example, there is no way to report Jaree-Ra to the authorities or stop him, either you do as he says or you ignore him. Or kill him, I suppose that works too.
At the moment I'm not playing Skyrim because whenever I come up with a character I want to play, I realize there will be tons of quests I need to ignore in order to not break character. Guess I'll just make an immoral slut who's willing to do anything for reward.
I'm looking for an image.
I remember early in the Skyrim modding scene there was some Japanese modder who made an "infographic" of sorts where he had an overlay on his character's face. It broke the face down into the "ideal" mathematical proportions and angles.
All I remember is that she was kind of average looking, with blue eyes and brown hair. The image itself had good information.
>Is that one fucking blacksmith the one who supplies all of the Stormcloaks? Where ARE the fucking soldiers, the entire civil ''''''''war'''''' is like a hundred dudes on each side
I'd say that's more a limit of the scale and scope you can do with 3D graphics given today's computer hardware
If you count all the corpses in the battlefield at the beginning of Witcher 3, there's something like 100-200. Yet in the lore armies of thousands clash. Novigrad is either the same size or slightly bigger than all of Skyrim's cities combined, yet it still has maybe 400-500 individually rendered NPCs, of which you can meaningfully interact with about 70?
Not just RPGs, the armies in Total War cap out in the thousands and may approach accurate manpower levels of medieval battles, but definitely not classical battles
It will be decades (if ever) until we can have game world cities with NPC populations comparable to historic real world cities. Do we even need it though?
I'd be happier with slightly more dialog choices under the Skyrim/Fallout 3 system, more skill gating like [Barter 75] or [Medicine 40] or [Charisma 7], more actual illusion of choice and RP than the 4-choice 2-word heap of shit Fallout 4 provides.
Hmm, that's a standard load order really. Maybe you have too many high-intensity OR settings active? Have you tweaked all your inis for it yet?
Perhaps your computer is just weak.
>Perhaps your computer is just weak.
I don't think that's the case. I have minimal OR stuff active and I can run Skyrim perfectly with 200+ mods.
I guess I'll just keep tweaking it.
>but definitely not classical battles
That really depends on which game you're playing. Rome II doesn't really work since legions were fuckhuge but Shogun does a pretty good job. I just want to see
Total War: Spring and Autumn with realistic troop numbers
Total War Renaissance (1500 - 1700) would be cool as well, I don't think any of their base games cover that time period for Yurup yet
Pic for ontopic discussion. Anyone know this character's name? 90% resembles my cousin
>Use CBBE for lods of clothes and armors
>But not a single one with the nice dwarven armor's purple skirt piece
I'm jelly UNP gets the mod that splits armors and outfits into lots of pieces. I just want that lovely purple on top of other things.
For the most part, yeah, but the numbers they try to give are plainly ridiculous and given for effect rather than historical accuracy. Most cases, it wouldn't be unwise to just drop a 0 from most of them.
Use UUNP, generate UNPCM preset. Halo confirmed its exactly the same down to a polygonal level except with HDT support and shit. The weighing is a bit different that's about it.
After that you can download hi poly vanilla armor for UUNP, export that as UNPCM, etc, and use whatever UNPCM mods are available.
Yeah. UUNP is a bodyslide enabled UNP, which means any UUNP outfit is designed for you to be able to open up Bodyslide and export it in any UNP type you want.
That being said, you don't NEED your base body to be UUNP.
Example, I have a sevenbase character and used gamefever's UUNP edit of Daedric Reaper to export a sevenbase variant of that.
It does have really nice weighing though, and you can export any body type you want with full HDT support, so it's pretty cool.
>Want to start a new game
>Download a draugr mod
>I don't even want to play a draugr
>going to have to spend 40 minutes in the MCM configuring mod settings
fuck starting a new game god damn it
Trying to get ideas for a new playthrough, I downloaded the draugr mod because I thought it would be cool to what you said about the ancient draugr, but then I decided I didn't want to do that.
I was wondering, does Suu fite?
Oh wait, I see it now. My apologies.
i have been diagnosed with paranoid personality disorder so please don't take this question too seriously but has anybdoy here hacked my computer to make my elder scroll installations unstable? they seem to be acting up more than usual recently
>buy powerful new CPU + GPU
>want to start new game
>want to RP like always
>redownload and start modding from scratch
>can't come up with a character I want to play
>can't come up with appealing character concepts at all
>want to play old character with new graphics
>don't want to play old character because played out 100 hours
>keep adding mods
>launch game to walk around for 10 minutes and AltF4 out
At most it might chew a couple FPS in areas with lots of NPCs in a shadowcaster with a lot of objects already in the room.
My personal experience is normally high poly models don't really hurt performance, they just take a tiny bit longer to equip. So your loading screens might take a bit longer when entering cities and shit.
Physically, no. She primarily spawns skeletons, raises corpses, and occasionally shoots out magical spine projectiles in the unlikely event that something gets through all the dead things.
Also sometimes turning corpses into putrid landmines is fun.
Check your load order for Civil War Overhaul. If it's not there you should be good.
Don't let your dreams be dreams, embrace your inner waifu.
>>launch game to walk around for 10 minutes and AltF4 out
Oh fuck I do this, man do I do this, constantly just fire up the game and toggle god mode and run around for 10 minutes killing bandits while trying to think of a character idea
Maybe I need that character roll sheet if anyone has it
>this happens as soon as I start really getting into Dragon's Dogma.
Oh, that's awful. Suu should change her ways and turn her back on Suzette, and begin her path towards the light and become a Priest or Inquisitor!
Also got dayum low light sources look bad
I think you are greatly overestimating her mental facilities.
>the average band o' vikings irl
Eh, not that big, unless you're a really big chief you've got one ship and you can only fit so many dudes in it and leave some space for supplies and loot.
I think it's safe to say that you don't absolutely need more than the bare-minimum to be a righteous zealot.
I suppose that's true. As long as she still gets to eat people.
>download all the mods necessary
>ENB, mesh and texture replacements, all that
>decide I'm going to RP
>Set my things, limits, all that
>Play for five minutes
>Okay this run I'm doing a X run
Insert X as what one could roleplay as.
>RP for a while
>Later on just think "Fuck this I'm just going to do everything again"
>Make the same character as always, cute with red (not ginger, proper semi-dark crimson red) hair
>Stop RPing and just do all the quests and guild again
Man, the only time I actually did RP was when I played a female Altmer, wore Thalmor robes, and joined the Stormcloaks, roleplaying as a Thalmor infiltrator to weaken the human provinces.
Then I got bored.
Skyrim is out of scale in so many ways. Whiterun is supposed to be a "major commercial hub". The path to High Hrothgar is most definitely not 7000 steps. There are only three students at the College of Winterhold and so on.
I guess that means she has to eat Necromancers, and other users of perverse magic. Poor Suzette will probably be her first dinner after turning over a new leaf.
Really though, I'm a little curious about where her path is leading.
Right now they're at the College; the idea is Suz will be trying to find a way to better preserve Suu before her limbs crumble away, maybe screw her brain in a bit tighter. But her pact with Herma Mora prevents her from ever retaining knowledge on Necromancy.
>want to make qt female character
>remember how much fucking around it took to set it up last time
Are there any small mods that make female characters look prettier in general? Hell, just a simple face replacer mod would be good.
Installing the Remodelled Armors for UUNP means I don't have to convert them to the proper body in BodySlide, right? It automatically adapts to it in-game? As I just finished sculpting my body from the UNPCM base.
Or am I just an idiot and I'm going to need to sacrifice my time to adapt them all?
>tfw have a delicious body texture, combined the sweaty + muscular + creamy skins
MXR reviewed just such a thing in his latest skyrim video
starts at 6:35
not just whiterun though
personally, it's interesting but I don't think it looks all that great
i guess you can say I'm no-lore and all-waifu
Yes you do have to bodyslide them
The largest discovered longship could've housed some 80 troops max, the average ones around 50-60. But yeah, great to see a 'battle' with maybe 20 dudes per side. And your side respawns infinitely until the fight's won.
Fuck the civil war is shitty.
fuck you that asian is broteir
i doubt you sound any better faggot
>Yes you do have to bodyslide them
>Might be worth mentioning that my custom race for the player-only and normal races have different body meshes.
Fuck that shit.
Fuck you, fuck your waifu, fuck Skyrim, fuck modders and most of all, fuck Bethesda.
What injury mods do you guys use? I'm trying to use More Dynamic Injuries because I like the idea of bleeding to death, but the scripts are always delayed so by the time bleeding matters everyone is dead.
Realism and proper scale is not happening on integrated circuits, unless you want asscreed unity where the NPCs exist purely to be killed and add volume to the city. But that's not even realism.
maybe if computers make a jump like from mechanical to vacuum tubes or from vacuum tubes to circuits we can have huge cities with tens of thousands of NPCs and AI powerful enough to differentiate them to a level sufficient enough to be interesting instead of carbon copies that look the same and spend their lives repeating the same 10 lines in the same voice in response to the same triggers.
Just batch build them, anon. And even if you don't batch build, it's just selecting from drop-down menus and hitting a button. Shit ain't hard. Custom player races with different bodies is easy peasy, too, if you use the Custom Race mod.
This is the kiddy pool of Skyrim modding, guy, I don't know what you're on about.
What I'm on about is that my race with a custom body uses a different body, thus batch-building them means that either my armor has the same shape as those NPC's wear, and the other way around.
Which means I'm not an unique special little snowflake.
Find the armor that you actually want your shit waifu to wear and then make sure it used the same body type as your shit waifu, using Bodyslide if necessary.
Batch building is stupid easy. Hit the "BATCH BUILD" button and then check/uncheck the boxes of the armors you want/don't want to build with the body type selected.
This is what I argued with some moron on the Internet. People these days are far too concerned with graphics, when downgrading the graphics and allowing for more shit to be drawn on screen (NPCs, buildings, etc.) makes for a better game.
Take Morrowind, for example. Cities bigger than Skyrim's (Vivec), all in 2002 hardware. Imagine if a Morrowind 2, using the same graphics or slightly better graphics (texture wise) was built on modern hardware... we would have amazing towns.
i require assistance /tesg/ this one is one of many khajiit traders in this land of skyrim, however poor ri'ssara have lost her horse as soon as she has entered this province of harsh cold, what should she do? i fear i seance a blizzard approaching
I guess it has its benefits if you're averted to ENB
That's the fucking thing, when I open BodySlide, I load my preset, I press Batch Build, I get 6 options;
No option to choose outfits or armors.
I deselect NeverNude and NeverNude HDT then press OK. It processes *something* it just says "OK".
>mfw i started trying to play skyrim 12 hours ago

random CTDs for no reason
>i am mad
>it has been 12 hours and i havent even been playing, just trying to fix the fucking game
i'm starting to lose hope
Yes, I meant 350. It wasn't that hard.
Sorry for shitting on your struggle, but you should have just asked :^).
Turns out I didn't.
Installed with ModOrganizer, it didn't.
God fucking damnit.
Thanks for your patience, anon.
time to replay Skyrim, time to bug you about mods
I'm not really a waifufag so I don't need extensive CBBE skimpy whatever, I care about content enhancers, good quests and storylines and so on
what's the current must-have?
>you will never ravage novameme's boypussy while he screams "memes" in ecstasy.
He's playing FF14 now and doesn't care about Skyrim anymore
I never thought he would forsaken us...
Did anyone here get Dragon's Dogma?
Kinda curious what /tesg/ thinks about it.
Pretty sure that armor has glow maps.
Off the top of your head, what are some script intensive/badly scripted mods that are at least somewhat popular but can be avoided?
Seeing a blacklist of mods might be useful so I don't fall into any more traps of saves getting ruined down the line.
But I don't want to create fully new textures. I just want to replace a part of a texture.
I don't understand how to make it blend in with the rest of the original texture though.
>tfw you have no reason or any long dungeon that would necessitate camping with your three companions in utter comfort
feels bad man
>Did anyone here get Dragon's Dogma?
I did a few days ago when it got leaked. It's been a lot of fun so far, I just started my NG+ playthrough today too
It is not usually any one single mod, but the user going overboard with multiple ones.
>Look, we all want location damage, footprints, a complete old school overhaul plus every single minor addition that makes the game more immersive. Papyrus, the scripting engine, can't handle too much. It's simple logic that too many script mods will overload the engine. Mods that are really, really old, or have a comment section with 500 warnings saying don't use this mod, they have scripts that will kill your game eventually. ESPECIALLY if you use uGridsToLoad (two additional grids in your radius to process scripts from.) Be careful with these mods.
That doesn't matter. Get used to using multiple layers, the smudge and fuzzy erase tool, crap like that. Shit takes time to learn, so any tutorials on texturing (or really just using an image editor like Photoshop or GIMP) will help.
>Get used to using multiple layers, the smudge and fuzzy erase tool, crap like that.
So it rally just comes down to drawing skills or what? I was hoping that I could just use a aprt of another texture and paste it into the other texture, but then the tone of the new texture doesn't fit to the orginal texture. Does that even matter?
I know and I think that's the biggest problem of open world games. When you design the game in a way that players can go everywhere, areas that should be huge often end up very small. Sometimes it's better to just show the player that there are hundreds of buildings and thousands of people in the city, but you're going to interact with only a handful of them instead of designing the city in a way that only the handful exists.
It's a matter of preference really. Some people prefer a few pretty things to lots of interesting things.
Anyone have any ideas how to convert a non-standard armor to UUNP?
Always liked this one, but it doesn't have a proper body attached to it.
Increasing the volumes makes it blocky.
No, not drawing skills at all. More of...blending skills. Once your overlay is on its own layer you can mess with its color, contrast etc until to blends well with your base texture, then merge the layers together.
GIMP has an entire section dedicated to tutorials.
I am also a walking GIMP tutorial repository but these things require lots of typing. My best advice is to be patient and learn the ins and outs of the program.
Oh, and you'll have to install a few plugins.
Novajam couldn't care less about Summerset. Stop spreading this meme.
He only put a trailer together tho. That and had early access to it.
The only reason he's gone now is because of Final Fantasy XIV. Not because some kid made a video badly impersonating him.
ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkk how do i into ENB?
No, crazybump's is much more versatile, but the GIMP plugin can be useful on the fly. If you're satisfied with one you already created you have no reason to generate it again.
first you have to install one
Nope, you'll either have to get different grass textures or a mod that resizes the grass meshes (not sure if any specifically makes them shorter.)
Go here : http://pastebin.com/75fzM5te, there's a torrent linked that includes all the DLC in it. I'm not sure if any torrents exist of JUST the dlcs for the game, sorry.
Also there's no DRM for any of the dlc, don't worry about it not being compatible with the Steam version or anything.
Install ENBseries then a preset you like.
>Been using Random Alternate Start since forever
>Want to make a new character, since my current character is an old hag (by design) and I want to make a new one
>Get the Helgen intro
>Disable, get the one on Steam Workshop
>Disable that, get Live Another Life, run LOOT
>After hitting "New" it just shows the imperial logo ad infinitum
>Have to turn on console and type "coc whiterun" in order to get into the game
>Not all my character creation mods are working, after choosing a class it just leaves me with full iron
WHAT IS THIS SUFFERING
I really don't think any tattoo, MUCH LESS a video game related one, is a good idea, ESPECIALLY on a highly visible part of the body like the wrist.
Think long and hard about how you'll feel about it in 20 years, will you regret it then and want to get it removed?
There's nothing wrong with it you absolute numbnuts.
It even has an internal debugger that dynamically disables parts of it, if it detects things going bad.
Is LIL at the LAST (save for the bashed patches and SkyProc patches) of your load order?
Yes, after running LOOT I personally dragged it to the bottom of the list. I also tried this with both versions of RAS. When I was using one I made sure to turn the others off.
>what are some underrated quest / actual gameplay content mods?
Quest mods that I thought were cool were:
Wheels of Lull
Fave quest mod that I've played was Vigilant. Although the english translation is terrible since it's machine translated.
There's a translated version only for the first episode though.
At which part did I say there was something wrong with it? It used to be bad, but said it's supposed to be more stable. Anyone thinking it was fine before V4 is delusional.
What mods are essential/good to play as a true Paladin? Skyrim lacks heavily in holy spells/equipment.
CWO still doesn't fit to the game though. It's just annoying when you can't walk 2 minutes without umpteens of enemies chasing you. Plus it makes Skyrim feel even smaller and doesn't fit to what is going on in the towns.
I'm trying to track down a particular mod, that changed the smithing recipes so that you needed more skill to craft armor you didn't have a racial affinity for. Altmer could make elven gear, orcs could make orcish gear, dunmer could craft chitin armor, and so on. To make dwemer gear, you'd need to delve deep in some lost cities and reclaim a couple ancient forgotten secrets.
I can't remember the name, and searching for "skyrim smithing mod" doesn't return anything that looks like it. Most mods seem to ADD options, whereas I'd like to REMOVE them.
Anyone here remember something like that?
>male wares nothing but a bandolier
>wow so manly and brave
>woman wears anything that exposes even half an inch of skin
>wow what a slut, just stab her in the stomach lol
Equality in Tamriel when?
i think i got it but the red text keeps telling me to put shadow float =1 or whatever in skyrim inl. when i already did that but the message is still there
Even with Vigilant's no voice acting, it's still good.
And Darkend doesn't really have NPCs to talk to at all.
It's good but I wouldn't call it underrated. Feels like a skyrim expansion that still needs a lot of polish.
>Souls games don't fit to TES
yes it fucking worked thanks again dude
its fucking glorious
Is SG hairpack 350 newer than my current SG hairpack 268?
Numbers in skyrim mods always confuse me, it sounds like it has more hairs but i could be wrong and could be some arbitrary retarded number.
Can someone tell me if it's the same or if it has more?
Does it have more for males?
love the ENB but i got to get rid of it or reinstall it its got to many glitches it in
calm down man.
>its got to many glitches it in
From what I can tell the 350 is the original and then the uploader of the files took it down after being harassed by the people whose art she ripped off and for some reason only the 268 version has been available since then.
The number is just the number of hairs.
For 1 It does this thin whenever you in a shadow like at night it just makes everything darker like adaptation but it not adaptation i've tried many other ENBs and they dnt have the problem. This is the only one I like
>loss for words
i didn't say that.
Also just because the person who created the mod is a greedy jew doesn't mean that the mod itself is terrible. Forgotten City is sorta unique.
Right now I have a AMD FX 6350 as my CPU and a GTX 660 for my GPU. At the moment i'm using vividan's enb along with the 2k HD texture overhaul, RCRN, Vurt's Flora, and gameplay mods. Right now I get about 20 fps when walking outdoors, 40 in towns, and 60 indoors. I'm wondering which of the two I should upgrade, only can purchase 1 hefty upgrade for either. I heard that skyrim only uses 2 cores so I'm thinking of buying a new motherboard along with an i5-2500. Or the other option I'm thinking is getting a GTX 970 instead. Which one do you think will get me more mileage from skyrim?
Thats more than most video game developers would make in a year of work which is about the same time he spent for his mod
>100,000+ people played it
The most I see are half that much on Nexus, the other numbers are way lower.
>I should get payed for my hobby, waah!
So this guy is both greedy as hell and a liar? I knew this guy seemed kind of like a fucker, god dammit.
>Not everyone makes things as fast as trainwiz, big mods would take that long.
Steam logs how long the CK is open for, not how long one has worked in it.
if you take the math of 1700 hours and divide it by 8 hours a day, that is almost 215 days spent on it.
- one cell duplicated with minimal clutter.
- one new assets imported
- about 29 scenes
- importing voice work.
- compiling a few scripts.
trainwiz could do that in under a month, waiting for voice actors maybe 4 months of not actually working. He could do it in under 200 hours.
most modders could make that in under 300 hours. He is a liar.
The end goal is to make her look like an older, more womanly version of Nagatoro. My process has been halted because of her complete lack of cheeks. Racemenu doesn't have a cheek slider, and the closest thing is face weight, which makes her fat by the time it does anything.
This isn't just this one character, by the way. All my other characters have a similar issue and I've had to deal with it. I've never had this issue with character editors in other games, so I don't know how to begin in Skyrim.
The weather is freezing today, perfect time to relax in the warmth of shelter. How are you keeping cosy, /tesg/?
>Racemenu doesn't have a cheek slider
yes it does.
