I've been trying to Pure Platinum Operation 002-C on 101% Hard all day today. Most I've been getting is Gold because I keep getting hit. I mainly seem to screw up at the Morph Counters and when the boss does that hand-slam to the center which creates the shockwave. Also the Pink Leader assistance portion (thankfully optional) isn't something I do anymore because the gaps created by the planes are stupid to see when you have 100 people in that enclosed area. You don't even really do that much damage there.

So close but so far. Someone put me out of my misery.

How the fuck did Dante beat Vergil? I feel fucking robbed like when Solid won against Liquid.

Like >>128739728 said, it is very simple to understand. Dante lost initially to vergil because he wasn't in terms with his demon side, while vergil accepted, and embraced it. At the end, Dante accepted who he is, a half human, half demon, while vergil was lost in his lust for power, and also was ignoring his human side, thus not making him much better than any demon.

I've seen some material trying to give some explanation, and it seems that it is mostly cultural, the idea is that Japanese players trying to become the best at their games is some sort of leftovers of the old samurai culture or some stuff like that.

I'm not sure if this is truly the case, but it makes sense from a certain point.

The rotation is a bit random, not sure what will happen next. We got Odin Sphere, so the "is X game cuhrazee" happened. We recently got a new NG3 Bro, with NG being a heavy topic lately many topics like DMC vs NG arguments, NG3 sucks, HWA!, and anything else related to NG has been discussed, so that X's them off the list too. We also had the casuals conversation again. And Itsuno's twitter bringing DMC5 hope, with that came DMCLore. There's also one autistic faggot constantly hating on Sengoku Basara as of recent.

Oh yeah, the closest thing to Cuhrayzee i've played in a Racing game was Daytona USA, to drift in that game you either uses the brakes, or you change the gears, and as far as I know the drift is different depending on how you change the Gears, some people gear drift by going 4>2>4 and others goes 4>1>3>4

This has been discussed before and the answer always ends up being no.

F-zero - hard and technical but there's not exactly an element of freeform or style too it.

Fighting games like Mahvel or anime fighters - Combat systems are open and they offer just as much if not more in terms of depth, but the focus is geared much more towards PvP rather than PvE (higher level AIs almost always input read/have frame perfect reactions anyway, making you fight them in a similarly robotic manner). Being good at a fighting game means being able to win. Playing with the intent to try to style on someone will 9/10 result in you getting blown up, so you end up failing to be good by normal standards and your own self imposed goals. Unless you're just a netplay monster that bullies mashing scrubs.

Vanquish is still a 3D action game, it's just fast paced gunplay rather than fast paced melee action so it manages to squeeze in.

The entire EA Big collection? SSX Tricky? Freakstyle? Trickstyle on the Dreamcast? NFL Blitz/NBA Showtime from Midway? Those game are technical cuhrayzee by definition but they lack any form of depth or skill. Pretty much any classic arcade game that didn't take itself serious.

Didn't oneechanbara win three polls? kek. Why isn't Gundam Extreme VS a cuhrayzee game? It IS a 3D action game with tons of depth. I've never played the Senran Kagura series but the latest one is coming out for the PC. We'll find out soon enough.

You also said english speakers are bad. Those two both have extensive knowledge and high execution skill in the game they play, so they aren't bad. It's not complicated.
