Posting again from the last thread. I took your suggestions and just messed around with some of the presets. First image is what I did on my own, second is the preset. The profile on the preset looks good, but dead-on it still looks like a frog. Any way to remedy this, or just keep throwing crap at the wall 'til something sticks?

I'm having this weird technical issue, I've tried googling to no avail.
Everything runs smoothly at 60 fps at max setting, which is exactly all I wanted. Except, once I got near the Gran Soren outskirts, my framerate will stutter and drop to the single digits, along with a loud fucking beeping sound. Exiting and reloading the game helped, until just now when I went into the Everfall the first time, where after a minute of reloading the game the same shit happens. Anyone have a similar problem, and a solution?

Go into the options for DS4 and go to settings then make sure "hide ds4 controller" is checked. You need to exit out of steam/teamspeak/discord whatever completely and then replug your controller.

If that doesn't fix it then dig up the button input dealio in the mod pastebin up in the OP and replace the .arc files in your steamapps/common/DDDA rom folder.

I know it's a typical fanboy response, but seriously... looking at it as objectively as I can, I can't see any major faults with DD, especially given a 30 dollar price point.

Sure, it's clunky, but it easily stands up with any number of other open-world RPGs. Shits all over Kingdoms of Amalur, for example, and KoA was fucking licked up by the masses.

It's really just the ones with the shields that are challenging. The other's you can just stunlock and kill like anything else but the shielded ones require some level of tactics and hoping that one of your pawns grabs him and holds him for you to attack.

This game is an absolute cult classic and many people don't understand what we like about it. Every game has it's list of problems but this one tried something different and corrected many of those issues of other rpg's while creating new one's in the process but it's something new, and fresh as a game. Also, its pretty cool that you can keep the fighter swords skills when playing MK. I leveled fighter to 7 to take prescience, switched to MK, then had the pleasure to see that I can still use upgraded Toss and Downthrust, even if I'll probably ditch them soon when I level MK or switch to using a mace.

The Militant Dove in the Black Cat is the strongest bow available until you get a Herald's Helix, though it's expensive and you take more damage by wearing it. On the upside it looks cool as fuck and it regenerates your health.

If you sell your Monacle you should be able to afford it.
