Can you give tips on how to enjoy it? I only got to play in the stress test weekend and every game was just pure turret spam on the control points and nothing happened. Whenever I tried to play a tank and motivate my team to go in they just watched me die and if I played someone to deal damage I just died instantly, just zero fun all around.

How do I play the archer of many crossmap stuns

The further we get into the game, the shittier I feel like I'm doing, and I'm not even that great in lane. Occasionally I can assist mid with an arrow from bot, but other than that I feel like I'm outclassed by every other AD opponent.

Bruh, it's not that bad. It's just overwhelming at first, especially if you pick a champ that is very build reliant or has a hard role.

Don't try to jungle without Smite/Runes/etc. In fact, just ignore jungle entirely right now.

The easiest way to learn the "gist" of things is Bot matches, picking Garen, and going top.

The first "phase" of the game is laning. Basically, just kill the little minions that come out and stay away from the enemy tower. You're too weak early game in most scenarios to enter a duel with an opponent champion and win, and same for them. You'll mostly poke at each other a little bit and then run back to your towers.

Basically, you want to stay in lane as long as possible, gaining levels and gold. Each character has specific skill builds (what skills you should take in what order), and item builds (what items they need to be using, and the "optimal" order to build them in).

Everyone is going to tell you that skills and gear is flexible and can be built to counter specific champs/situations, but fuck that shit for now if it confuses you. If you're a tank, build HP/DEF. If you're a fightan guy, build Attack Damage. If you're a wizardy guy, build Mana/Ability Power.

Because you need the runes to be able to clear the jungle easy, weedwick is probably the only pre-rune jungler. Jungling is pretty easy when you actually get runes though.
