What do you think Capcom is going to do with Sagat in SFV?

What do you want Capcom to do with Sagat in SFV?

While not a true "Shoto-clone", Sagat has a reputation as being similar to the Shotos due to his fireball, uppercut, and Tiger Knee that is similar to a Tatsu. Furthermore, his conspicuous absence from the vanilla roster in SF5 prompted Capcom to explain that they didn't want a lot of similar characters in the initial roster, seeming to suggest that even Capcom sees Sagat as a "sort-of" Shoto.

Since SFV appears to be the game where Capcom feels comfortable with going back to the drawing board with certain characters, this would be the perfect opportunity for Sagat to maybe branch out and become a more unique, more "Muay Thai" fighter. The problem with this, of course, is that some of Sagat's move such as his Tiger Shot and Tiger Uppercut have become so iconic and synonymous with his character that I'm not sure you could cut them out without completely changing the character. What do you think?

Melee is the best fighting game.

Sick techskill and both flashy and fun combos, edgeguarding is cool, and in general it's insanely deep while still being fun as hell.

The neutral is pretty much beyond any game ever (except maybe Starcraft 1, lol), plus the tech you can pull off is quite impressive too. I don't really understand why you'd hate a character just because he's really good in one installment. Zato has been consistently top tier or close to it for almost every installment except Slash.

Zappa is difficult to play, as well. Well, he was in the past, anyway. His normals are extremely limited and situational, especially his HS button. Controlling the dog isn't easy, he's very weak without any spirit, triplets used to really suck dick and relied heavily on FRC, sword used to be really fucking bad, blah blah. I could go on all day.

So is the saturn pad, and that's generally considered the best pad for fightans. It's actually great, because unlike d-pads like sony/nintendo use, they actually don't brutally kill your fucking thumbs. The 360 d-pad happen to be god awful, but it's not not a bad concept.

Don't let him do that command grab for free because he's not invincible at all during it, and eating a counter hit as Chipp is practically a death knell.

His ground-mix ups are pretty bad. He only has two overheads (6K and the last hit of rekka), and both are slow.

A lot of Chipp's go for tech air throw frame traps, so don't just tech at the earliest possible moment every time.

What's the best way to block against Leo? When he's up close, his overhead and that little low hit kick both come out really quick, so it feels more like a pure guessing game than it does with any other character in the game.
