Im the guy who you quoted, ill make it really simple. Solo queue used to be the place where competitive non pussy people played the game to see whos better at it. Riot decided that for some reason, they wanted to completely demolish this system and have made it so solo queue basically doesnt exist anymore. Ranked should be 5v5 premade only. It was originally like this in DOTA2 but casuals made valve remove that.

This game is balanced around 5v5 premades yet 99.99% of the player base plays soloq because it's allowed and easier to just soloq over and over than it is to find players oto form a team with.

If people were FORCED to find others to group up with to actually play and compete in ranked, not only would the ranked experience be VASTLY better and more enjoyable, the overall community would be much nicer and friendlier and this game wouldn't be filled to the brim with 11 year old autists.

It's like how in old MMO's everyone was nice and friendly and helpful, because they were forced to be. The same would happen here.

You are confusing where they got most of their revenue with relevance. "Pro" players in NA, EU, etc. don't take soloqueue seriously at all. They goof around because it isn't actually league of legends. It's casual pandering bullshit like >>128656851

When they "did" take it seriously they always, and I mean, ALWAYS duoqueued at the very least.

Top pro players can dumpster nearly everyone with almost anyone because the standards of play are so much higher when you worry about your individual skill AND how you coordinate in advanced strategies with a team. The "skill" in this game doesn't come from autistically maining one champions but from getting your team the win every time when both teams are coordinated.

Soloqueue retards would get TRASHED in those kinds of games.

The way for soloque to become serious is through people taking it serious. Regardless of whether or not it is a good competitive environment. Not taking soloq seriously because everyone else does only helps to further maintain the status quo.

People ALREADY HAVE plenty of options to play as a team. Ranked 5's custom games with and against anyone you can gather. and duo que. forcing 5man premades for ranked will literally kill the game as you're forcing those who 1) Don't have friends 2) those who have them but not online 3) those who have them but don't want to play with them. To make teams simply to play the ranked mode of the game. You're alienating too much of the playerbase in order to REMOVE options. Removing options is almost never the answer to anything.

I'll give you that riot should make the 5v5 ranked system more attractive and useful, but they should do so seperately from soloque.
