I'm not Michel. And I don't care about anything that he is trying to say. I had my own experience with Life is Strange and it's the only thing that matters to me.
Here is my post from the previous thread:

I don't hate the ending(s). I didn't expect this game to have a happy ending anyway. What really bothers me is the lack of proper explanation for a lot of things and overall lack of content in EP5. But I can live with that.
Michel's bullshit about "Max isn't really a good person" doesn't count. If this was his "message" then he forgot to actually put it in the game (and it's fine, we don't need something like this). I'm only getting two "messages" from the ending:
1. You can't fix absolutely everything, no matter how hard you try. This sucks. And it doesn't automatically mean that you did something "bad".
2. One person can be more important for someone than the whole city of even the world. When Chloe decided to sacrifice herself for the future of Max and Arcadia Bay, I actually realized that I can't do this.
So yeah, I chose the Bae ending and I'm glad that it exists, despite all the flaws of EP5.

Fate is usually meant with negative or tragic consequences. As in the "fate spinner" (the universe) forces the will that Chloe has to die.
Destiny, on the other hand, is how the events have played out, i.e. with the protagonist's influence.
It's Max' destiny to save Chloe. Therefore BAE = fulfilling Max' destiny, BAY = leaving Chloe to succumb to her tragic fate.

Hopefully those Max and Chloe liked and cared about were smart enough to either run or seek shelter (Two Whales probably has a large walk-in freezer or David got there in time and brought them to the Dark Room), but if they didn't it's nobody's fault but their own. Most of John loc godard's shit has a bad ends often, like Pierrot le fou ends with the main character killing himself. The 400 blows, another piece of famous french cinema ends with the main character sent off to boarding school his mom sent him to. Their is a very famous french film of called the passion of joan of arc, you can imagine how that one ends. Rules of the game ends with one of the main characters being shot.
