Thought this one was neat.
Hope they open up the Tower for the event in February.
Or even for no reason.
>Rift on Vertigo
>our Runner carries the Spark through the Warp Gate to the other side
>we get to their Rift and ignite it without ANY opposing resistance
>three fucking times
>win on Mercy Rule
They never learn(ed).
I wish they'd keep that open even without an event. Those mountains are fucking pretty, and it's a shame that when Iron Boner isn't going on, I have to look at them through the shitty glass in the Vanguard hall.
It feels like there was way more variety in class items during Y1. It also didn't hurt you to use a "lower" cloak. Maybe part of that is because the VG/CR cloaks all appear to be the exact same model with color swaps.
>not using vex mythoclass and first curse on oryx
Baka desu senpai
Well, add one Defender Titan with Blessing and you have a free health bar to keep shooting.
That's why its become so popular. Pretty neat though I agree.
Good light and a scout/sniper with reload gloves, + you should be just fine.
>tfw the real meta is auto rifles and no one knows
get rekt noobs
>WE WERE GOING TO FIGHT ATHEON ALONGSIDE KABR IN VoG
Oh yea, found this from ages ago.
Fuck off deus nobody wants to hear about your FAGGOT SHIT FUCK ITS ALL YOU TALK ABOUT YOU NIGGER DUMB SHIT
I'm going to your house right now in Cali to cum in your parents and raise your own sister and hate fuck her on your wedding day
Most of these ideas are really cool and make a lot of sense, it really is a shame we got Destiny as it is now rather then would could have been this, a raid under Mars about a rouge Guardian working with the Cabal would have been tight.
>trials of osiris
>not the multiplayer mode
Wait, so is the Trials mentioned in the Grimiore for Osiris separate from what we do in game? Or has that been completely reworked into the current Trials?
Here's the reference for this as well
I'm running the NM Sidearm with Shoulder Charge and the Insurmountable Skullfort
If I see someone I can't Shoulder Charge I pop 3 shots with the Sidearm then just hit them with Stormfist.
It's like Destiny is fun again.
I suppose the Charlemagne thing explains why all of a sudden Rasputin is involved with the dust palace mind flayer strike. Although I still don't understand why or what our how Rasputin is protecting on mars.
I'm doing the NTTE exotic quest. I have the first two ghosts and I killed the hydra. Now I'm at the part where you scan praedyths body.
I know I need to get to the jumping puzzle but I can't find it. I've only done vog twice and that was a long time ago
>Finally get rank 25 for New Monarchy
>Finally get my beloved Comitatus
>Finally get quest for exotic Warlock bond
>Read quest criteria...
>Do a lot of shit while having a New Monarchy emblem, shader and class armor equipped
>Realize I don't have New Monarchy bond.
>Find out one costs 75 legendary marks and is only 280 light
>No way to earn more marks until tomorrow because I've exhausted every imaginable method of getting marks already
>Having to grind dailies and Trials bounties just to buy a stupid ass bond so I can grind some more to get another bond...
The food part gets me everytime
>I've hilariously misnamed food
Was going to explain but I found this.
By this time you probably watched a video.
The exotic weapons only drop as a reward at the end of a crucible or something? cus i always use 3oC on strikes and oryx and fucking always got boots, gloves or head and never a fucking primary weapon
Would an Anon kindly help me get No Time to Explain while there's still time on PS3? I'd only like help so that the firefights could be less of a pain in the ass. Those four waves of Taken drive me crazy in the first place, I don't wanna' try going up against that stupid Minotaur alone...
I have a mic if it counts!
Comitatus was the last ship I needed. I have all of the shaders and emblems. The Warlock bond is what I really want. I don't mind the grind for it, but since it does require you to wear a class item, they should have given it to you instead of assuming I had it. Unlike Y1, faction class items don't give bonus faction rep, unless it's the exotic one, which at that point, doesn't matter unless you're still missing a shaded or ship
Once you get the three ghosts you can wipe as many times as you want. As far as that fight with 4 waves goes, get up on the platform directly across from the cave with the spirit bloom chest you get from VoG. Every once in awhile pop down, but make that your safe zone. Good luck, buddy.
>Anon doesn't sound like he's complaining
>Having to grind dailies and Trials bounties just to buy a stupid ass bond so I can grind some more to get another bond...
It's the use of the word "just" that gives it away. These tricky subtleties aren't always obvious if your first language isn't English.
Give coins to Xur for heavy ammo
Give ammo to faction
This is the most cost effective way to get ranks. I would give anything for the Y1 rep gains to come back.
Ranks in Y1 were easy as hell. Every week started with a free 950 rep and a bonus to all rep earned for the rest of the week. Bounties and Crucible/Strikes also gave double and in some cases even triple the rep they do now. And if you were autistic enough like me and a few others you could grind VIP patrols for multiple ranks a day.
>Each beacon gives you 250 glimmer, VIP's give you 500
>Use purple ghost shells with enemy kills grant glimmer
>Earn engrams from killing enemies for loot
>Buy heavy ammo from Gunsmith (Variks, or Xur)
>Trade to Faction
>There you go
After ensuring I have enough 3oC, Ill spend the rest of my coins on Heavy.
Any coins I earn over the weekend I spend on heavy while Xur is around, just because.
I'm still pretty new to Destiny, I'm level 18 right now. I just noticed there's a lot of missions on the different planets that apparently I've never even finished, along with 2 strikes. Are these completely optional?
This. I don't really see the point of tlw, and I've used it a lot to get the chaperone. Seems to me that I'd someone's close enough to kik with it then 9/10 times I could also kill them with a sidearm.
If the last word had a smidgen more range it would be something really special. I'm not much of a hipsterfire guy so I don't get a lot of use from its main perk.
What exactly makes them so bad.
I don't know why the fuck I suck so hard with Handcannons. I can keep a bead on almost anyone with Scout Rifles but holy fuck I cannot aim for fucking shit with Handcannons.
I've been using a Hung Jury with Hand Laid Stock in PvP for the last 4 months. I try and try with Handcannons and I cannot get the hang of them, I don't fucking know how people get kills with them.
it's always been the same, we've just been too delusional to believe it
I got some good friends that are into drag. It's pretty interesting stuff.
There has never been substance, yes, but it's the community which makes the game, with none you have nothing.
If you want a better way to get Heavy just stockpile Ether Seeds, got to Variks and buy Heavy Synthesis for 250 Glimmer a pop. And I mean leveling up Factions takes so fucking long, I'm so fucking insulted that the exotic class items you get from them aren't atleast 310 Light. Then again that's everything about Destiny, the time you put into it is barely rewarding at all.
It's 25rep per 1 heavy and its 2,500 for one faction rank.
At 3 heavy for 1 coin you can get 30 heavy for 10 coins and 300 heavy for 100 coins.
300 heavy synths would yield 7500 faction rep enough to rank up 2 and a half times.
You need 2500 rep to rank up which means you need 100 heavy synths to rank up.
And to get 100 heavy synths you would need
>34 coins! for a total of 102 heavy synths
i just want a fucking primary exotic
FUCK YOU RNG
hope Xur get some primary or i'll kill myself
Quick, Vote on what Bungie will talk about next weekly update!
>just with a weird perspective on gay sex.
I have been sitting here trying to understand what this means, what the fuck?
Guys cant sign in so someone will need to post Xur inventory tonight.
No. Pule Rifles had their damage and range nerfed last update. Before they were top dogs along with Scouts now you should just be using a Scout. You can still get away with Red Death and Bad Juju though since their perks are so so good.
The pdx 41 Banshee has atm with spray and play might be alright for pve. If you don't like scouts, use what you like. Why would anyone ever do anything else?
I mostly use auto rifles or hand cannons in pve because why not and fuck you if you don't like it
This shit is so random.
Thanks for the Shard I guess.
Everything works in pve. Autos and Handcannons work great close up, pulse/hc/autos all perform well midrange, then Scouts have the highest range. I think you just need a good purple weapon to drop that's not a Scout. Lot of weapons work well for pve. When a roll drops for you (or you find one) and you level it up to find you really like it, that's the best.
There are just different stats for weapons for variety.
Impact is how much damage the gun deals.
Rate of Fire is how quickly you can deal that damage
Meaning lower impact pulses and autos fire really quick
but they will put out as much damage as a low rof high impact weapon.
Again, whatever you like really.
Low impact means you hit headshots.
>Start out Y2 preferring dead orbit for the ships, shaders and disc/str focus
>Finally get my exotic, but now I prefer voidwalker with nothing manacles
>FWC does Int disc, and it's exotic bind might better suit the manacles
>Plus everyone and their mum has the dead orbit exotic at this point
>Switching to FWC means I can't use my DO exotic
Arrrrgh I hate being this indecisive
Stay at the back and let others do the dirty work. Quit before final screen pops up showing your K/D. Or be upfront about not knowing what you are suppose to do. Every time I do KF there are atleast 1 guy who has absolutely no idea what is going on and he screws entire fireteam over.
Yeah definitely let others know if you're new to a raid, or not clear on what to do in a certain part. Successful fireteams usually have a clear leader, usually just the most talkative person, that is narrating the fight. Some parts one person needs to be saying a countdown, or calling out when they have the relic, etc.
I suck ass at pvp, like .85 k/d, and the times I'm doing well I notice I'm not sprinting blindly through the map looking for enemies but instead staying put much more. Stay with teammates, sink a bullet or two into an enemy and hide while your teammates finish them off.
ok boys what do you guys think it's going to be?
got 2 of this
I like how you can piss the game off during pve fights, and it tries to kill you. Halo did that too.
i got Monte carlo and hawkmoon
>read it was Y1 weapons
>already bought it before reading that
>thinking about killing myself for being this stupid
>remember the kiosk
now i can go sleep with a smile in my face
Here's something you've never been asked:
Most of us know the sensation of being watched, like we're walking and all of a sudden we feel eyes on us. That shit's real.
Have you ever felt that ingame, like someone sees your character and you feel it?
If you're too good, like you kill too many enemies in too short a time, the intensity of enemy fire increases noticeably. The game tries to kill you. Happened to me during yesterday's daily, in the spot where you fight the templar during the raid, most recently.
Fuck, all the time. Happens the tower or patrol but mostly in pvp. You have a feeling youre being watched, you probably are. Think its for your own good, shows your instincts are working and youre trying to stay alive. All depends how you act (or dont) on moment.
Thanks for your input, I'm trying to think of what could physically cause that, like if the info is somehow encoded into the light leaving and entering our eyes, or if they're brainwaves or what. How is the watched person's brain receiving that information, is the question I'd like the answer to.
I'm kinda thinking that the exotic effect proccing depends on its position in your inventory. Like if it's in your middle slot, then your chances are higher.
Then again I am just getting back into the game, so basically just making a supposition regarding my first times using the Coins and the curious movement I've noticed in the inventory.
The feeling could be interpreted as anxiety. Though anxiety doesn't have to be a bad thing it's all how you act on it. That's just my initial perception. Playing in an online with other people you notice moments/feelings that would happen in real-life the game, feels natural but its a cool experience.
Nope. Even when I played Rumble regularly I made sure that nobody was ever in a blind spot which is very easy with the radar. If you can see me I know you're there and 99% of the time I see you too.
please kill me
Okay, but please understand I'm trying to figure out metaphysical Jungian collective subconscious type shit here because down that road lie some of the greatest secrets of the universe, and you're arguing that you're good at a video game.
>go to do some mayhem clash for marks
>entire enemy team is using the mida and lag teleporting
why are the servers terrible on xbox?
All I saw was a question that if you could feel someone looking at you in game and I answered in a way that pertained to the game. If you're actually paranoid about digital eyes on you it's time to cool it on the drugs or seek help.
this one and the one that's literally a chunk of the First Wall
Now i can leave without fear of squidface selling it while im gone.
>reposting old shit proven to be fake
>not even striking out shit which is already disproven by the game itself like "hurr cabal and fallen are allies when they make a massive shootouts on mars"
>The only exotics left that I want are thorn and obsidian mind
>Both helmet engram and legacy primary come up in the same xur
Fuck everything. Anyone know a good way to farm strange coins?
Anyone want to do a raid or two? Haven't done anything this week
>It would be interesting if classes ended up sharing weapons
All Solar subclasses could wield the Hammer of Sol
Void Subclasses the Bow
Arc Subclasses ArcBlades
They would be implemented as heavy weapons
You would complete a mission to get each one
Subclass determines the weapon you can wield
>Hammer of Sol would have a melee attack with R1. Able to be thrown, and charged, with R2. The longer you charged the more range on your throw, and fully charged shots that hit an enemy chain damage to enemies nearby.
>Voidbow would aim like a gun. Ready it with L2 to zoom in, press R1 to do an instant quick shot, and hold r2 to charge a shot able to go through enemies.
>Arc Blades would increase agility and works differently than the arcblade-super. Less tracking and you rely more on combos to take out the enemy. When equipped your attacks are L2 and R2, and your R1 and L1 become strafes that use up you ammo.
>pop like 5 coins during crucru
>get two exotics out of it
>xur now sells helmets too
its amazing really. This game knows how to ruin your day even if you actually got pretty lucky
Oryx. The encounter is so long and relies so hard on people NOT fucking up.
It speaks volumes that the generally accepted easiest method is the challenge mode version, since it requires people to only attempt coordinated detonation once (which is incidentally also why no Knights is seven as too hard to be worth it)
Of course the woman leaves.
Can't handle the heat
Stains and I + LFG chucklefucks
It's as fun as it sounds.
>oi m8 u got my playstation name from a forum or somewhit?
>entire point is that the game was massively different
>old as fuck post
>fallen/cabal shootout is literally because said group of fallen are desperate religious fanatics trying to claim territory
>the Wolves are representative of all fallen
Do the Hard Mode King's Fall challenges if you want one. It's a guaranteed 310 and 320 Legendary artifact every time you complete one.
You sound new, famiglia. Any other questions? I fucked my day up so the least I can do is make yours better.
>Ultimate challenge mode
>Reward is an exotic item that allows you to imbue a Legendary primary weapon of your choice with one of the elements
>The challenge is to run the entire raid with a Warlock-only fireteam
Blessings is helpful in there anyway, just in case the Shade nicks you.
Sounds like a good combo.
I guess I'm just worried some squeaker would call for a kick if he doesn't see everyone using the exact same primary.
Yeah, still slogging my way through high 290s while trying to infuse the two exotics I've been using. Not having a mic makes it tough to get a group for raids, and it's a slow process just hoarding and decrypting engrams
There comes a mic with every PS4 and you can buy that shit for like 15 bucks. There's literally no excuse.
And yes, you can easily complete the raid without one but it's way better for coordination if you somehow have trouble with something.
I had that once, some dude on ogre duty didn't put out the damage he had to so we switched around a bit, and i had to literally watch one guy nod or shake his head because he didn't have a mic.
A quick tip: not having a mic means you'll never get into a raid.
Destiny is an easy game for the most part, I'm sure you've figured that out by now. But Raids (when they're a high enough level to be a challenge) are one of two things that require some degree of coordination from everyone involved.
I would suggest investing in a mic if you can afford it. Not only will it make people more open to including you in activities, but you'll be able to interact with /dg/, for as little as that might mean to you I guess.
>not even if it were NM
Oryx NM is easily doable at 297 if the group's somewhat decently geared or if you've got, like, one carry for ogre duty and shade.
I don't know how Bungie does it but it seems like lag has gotten worse on Xbone. I had a game of Inferno Clash yesterday where this Ram user was literally teleporting around shotgunning people to death. You could not stop him other than a Super or Heavy.
>farm for exotics because wanna do ramlock
>don't get ram
>buy ram off xur during christmas and infuse it
>two days later get 310 ram
Same shit with Alpha Lupi, Invective, and that shit that grants headstrong on striker.
Fuck this game's RNG. At least he's got Primarys this time so i can finally get Red Death and NLB for my collection. Not that i'm gonna be using either.
I keep seeing people talk about The Last Word. Is it that rare? I just got it from doing that first arena strike in the Reef. Or did I get an inferior version of it.
Also, as a new player, is Celestial Nighthawk worth it? It seems like in PvE group content I'd mostly go Nightstalker for the added support.
Last week turned out pretty fun. Everyone and their dog was staring down the middle lane at all times, all you had to do for three shotgun kills was flank them. I had one game where i actually killed off one after the other without his teammates even noticing because they were too busy looking down their scope. This is also why you use mics.
You got the Y1 version then. You can still use it in Crucible no problems, just not for IB or Trials where light matters. For those you can however get the Y2 version at the iPhone at the vanguard now that you've unlocked it.
Don't have it myself so don't rely on it. For Raids you sure want to shit out orbs with tether, but i think it's useful for strikes or other PvE stuff where you just want to get shit done fast. You can apparently oneshot the spider tank in the Taniks strike while using it, for example.
Just got the game and I get to play it solo for a month before my buttbuddy comes from vacay. I wanna surprise him by actually getting good so he doesn't have to babysit me.
May I please have general tips on what to get good at and how to progress quickly from 0?
I'm a Hunter, if that helps.
finish story, should get you to 40
dump all your motes of light into dead orbit
do taken war questlines on earht, venus, mars
use legendary marks you get out of it on a vanguard ghost, vanguard 1000 yard stare, dead orbit hung jury or other meta shit
do Court of oryx questline from eris morn
grind vanguard strikes
grind vanguard heroic strikes
I just cannot take getting memed on by the 1KYS. Couple weeks ago I had a game where my team couldn't even revive me because every time they did I just got instantly sniped headshot again. We won the match but holy fuck man Trials on Widow's Court was one of the most unfun things I've ever done.
that would be pretty bad.
the radar is important. you can use the radar as a weapon. having no radar would result in some pretty ridiculous camping games where teams would purposefully hide themselves when they know they are outmatched.
Just rolled Last Word and Monte Carlo from the legacy engrams. I've heard good things about LW, but is MC any good? I've already got Zhalo as my main primary right now and it hasn't let me down. Should I break MC and try to buy LW at Y2 value? Also, I already have Hawkmoon and Ace of Spades for handcannons so idk if I really need another one.
For PvE stick with what you have. For PvP just try the Y2 version in the crucible, if you like it go for Y2
MC is neat and my primary AR, but i think if you've already got a Zhalo it's not worth the marks if you got something to spend it on.
Not saying one's better than the other. They do have their differences, but in the end they're both high RoF, close range ARs. If you got one you don't really need the other, i'd rather spend my marks on other stuff.
At least that's for PvP. For PvE i prefer Zhalo by a long shot actually. Elemental AoE is just great.
>Widow's ("Apple's) Court
It should be expected though since not having a sniper puts your team at a disadvantage right off the bat, unless you have a sidearm with 12 instead of 15 rounds.
Zhalo and MC are my two main guns, keep them both.
Zhalo is obscene for arc shields and raping groups of lower enemies and for when you just want to mindlessly kill things. It's probably better in that of the two 'hold down trigger to kill everything 15 feet in front of you' rifles it's the babbiest-tier to use.
MC is for when you want to have fun with your melee build; the MCM goes off all the fucking time, put on melee perks and you got melee charge up almost constantly. You have to place your shots a little better with the MC than the Zhalo tho.
Don't listen to him, Monte Carlo is insanely good if you have two melee charges especially because when it procs it give you 100%/200%, meaning that if both melees are uncharged but your first is 90% charged, it will give you one full charge and 90% on your second charge.
Use it on Hunter for infinite smoke bombs with Grasps, Titan for infinite Force Barrier orbs or Warlock for infinite Flame Shield/Perpetual charge.
It's also just an extremely solid AR all round, very good stats and middle tree.
Is he in the Rift again?
Fuck's sake Bungie
I don't know if this gun is good or not. Its rate of fire felt like shit when I played around with it in patrol, but things died pretty well.
Army of One, Counterbalance and Small Bore. It has surprisingly little recoil for what its stability is.
>decrypt blue engram
>1000 Yard Stare
>babby's first legendary drop
>decrypt legendary class item engram
>1000 Yard Stare
Is it really Osiris he's talking to?
And is Osiris some kind of god-like character that people worship or one of The Nine?
>low RoF auto
>actually + stability instead of just rifled barrel when you even have counterbalance
>no reactive reload/crowd control
You'll kill patrol mooks just fine with it but it's shit compared to a decent roll.
So he's just taken up the name "Osiris" because he's powerful and many respect him for his strength and wisdom?
Do we know much about him or just that he's seen as a god? I wish we knee more about the nine...
Anyone else feel like they didn't go far enough with the setting ideas in Destiny?
Like, it's not full "What if Tolkien had technologically advanced by a 1000 years", but it's not proper Marathon/Halo esque sci-fi either. It's a weird, boring and inconsistent blend in between,
I agree that they didn't go full on when they should have. However I still think they've made a very interesting setting and lore. I'd rather have what we have now than have them go full on but it end up stupid. There's so much non explanation of things that there's a huge layer of mystery and intrigue to the lore but they definitely went too far with not explaining things.
I just hope they don't fuck things up in the future.
The environment design and themes of the game are stellar, I think. I love the setting so much.
The problem is that story is EVERYTHING. Without a compelling sense of history and lore behind everything, it stops being mysterious and that ultimately makes everything less interesting. The game needs less action and more just exploration and reason behind your actions.
It would be so great to have larger interconnected maps. To have not just hallways and corridors, but vertical exploration as well. Climbing towers (like the Ishat Collective building or the Freehold Towers) or descending holes (like hive burrows in the moon).
And then there could be stuff to find. Hidden doors that can be obtained only through subtle hints in the grimoire, which should ge integrated into the game (as a ghost function, would work and make sense). These hidden paths lead to chests with actually loot worthy content, or to hidden areas with unique enemies or turn out to be shortcuts, or just really nice places with amazing views over the pretty areas and their skyboxes.
Wouldn't it be nice if you were exploring some place, and came across he hidden remains of a long dead guardian, who is still tightly clutching his weapon. You then take the weapon and it's your.
Lots of Destiny characters and concepts, real or legendary, are named after mythical people, Osiris just happened to be named Osiris and have Egyptian-Esque gear themed around him
>he doesn't have it atm
I must be special then because I got one on Wednesday. It was last week's order. It's pretty ok. This week's pulse test weapon is basically a stripped down pdx 41.
I think it would have been interesting if the game's ten years plan had arched the great reclaim of the golden age. Imagine this:
The traveller came and gave humanity science so advanced they could do technological wonders, tinker with genes, alter their appearance, make colonies in space, have weaponry that fucks with the basic laws of physics.
Then the darkness comes and fucks their shit up big time. Fucking BIG time. So big that earth is basically reduced to a medieval state. The coming generations find remnants of the golden age but don't understand their technology, so everything hyper advanced is deemed magic and any alien species is magical, supernatural or demonic.
Over these ten years then players would discover just how far mankind has been before. Gameplay wise we would start with swords and shields and end up with firearms, lasers and hyper magic. And at the end, players basically put earth back to where it used to be. Just before the darkness returns for the finale of the whole game.
Yeah, they need to push the whole "discovery" thing more. More open environments, less "missions", and more simply exploring and finding awesome stuff.
>I'm kinda thinking that the exotic effect proccing depends on its position in your inventory.
Wow. And I thought the theories couldn't get any more crackpot.
It's not actually magic guise, it's just computer pixels an shit.
It's a real shame that some of the prettiest places, like raid dungeons and PvP maps, are locked behind multiplayer activity and can't be visited just by going there.
Did you ever take the time and look around in crucible arenas?
Crossroads is fucking beautiful, with that vexxed mountain in the distance.
Or take a look at the colossal cave that the cauldron is in. There are tons of structures, temples and bridges erected or carved into the walls. It looks like the hive version of Lotr's mines of moria.
The original plot to Destiny had the Traveller as the bad guy. It was what caused the fall of mankind. It was just about stopped. Hence why all the damage is at the bottom of the traveller: We were blasting it.
Clearly Activision wanted an iconic image for the series though, so they gutted that.
World bosses randomly around new environments would be awesome.
instead of a specific story mission to find, let's say the Kell of the House of Kings, you stumble upon him in the European Deadzone in a massive open environment where a dozen other guardians can be patrolling and roaming around exploring as well.
Mini bosses, ultras and majors, sprinkled throughout different environments and an increase in engram drops from said enemies would make exploring worth it.
Also they changed one of the trials bounties. Now instead of 3 legendary mark rewards and a bronze, silver, and gold reward you get 2 legendary mark rewards, 2 bronze, 1 silver, and 1 gold
>"Do you like it more when Lord Saladin oversees these matches?" Do I look like I care?!? get back in there!"
Holy shit this tsun as fuck Shaxx
>where a dozen other guardians can be patrolling and roaming around exploring as well
Man, open patrols and raids is what I'd like.
You know how you join a public event and everyone participating in it when you decide to throw yourself in?
Imagine that would work with larger scale activities such as strikes or raids.
So I was under the impression I'd obtain the relics I need for the Sleeper Stimulant quest over a period longer than a week, but here I am with my 3rd relic, 2 days after the first. But it won't matter because I need to wait 3 weeks?
??? ???????/? ????
I did that recently with VoG.
Man, VoG is a fucking work of art. They put so much effort into it.
And to think only 1/4 of players have ever finished a Raid, that's such a shame.
World bosses are what Public Events should have been. Man, PEs were such a big selling point for Destiny and they just fucked them up.
Well in the official Bungie ride alongs of earth they did say that each planet was originally a massive open area but they downsized them like 6 times and added different zones to make the game work on 360/PS3.
But then again Bungie lies all the time
Anyone running CM or NF?
Come one it's friday night in euroland, someone's gotta do something on here.
>DIS-43 is a superior gun depending on rolls
Can confirm this is accurate
Trials or is everyone dead?
I fucking must be. Christ. I kept looking for him NEAR Amanda and in places that would make sense for him to show up.
Didn't expect him to be in the dead end at the farthest part of the hanger.
He's been there like three times in the past two months
Don't sweat it tho, it only means you've got other things to be looking forward to the weekend than googling what xur sells and where he is.
Let's run a NF then, maybe once we're done some more people show up.
He is also selling nothing of interesting, except for those stormcaller gaunts.
Is it normal to just start buying shitty exotics for the purpose of just getting shards from them? I feel like that's just the next step for me to do.
it all depends on how much PvE you play. When TTK hit, I was playing nothing but strikes and got all the relics for my main within the first couple of days, if not all on the first day. With my warlock that I neglect, I just got the second one, and I can't remember when I got the first.
>Is it normal to just start buying shitty exotics for the purpose of just getting shards from them?
Doesn't seem very economical to me. You'd be better served with 3oC and sharding the trash from that.
I barely get anything; or I usually end up using it.
Got Alpha Lupi, those Barrier Titan gaunts, and some decent Haunter boots from them, which I use. Though I may end up sharding the boots.
While on the topic of exotics; would you think it would be worth it to upgrade my Y2 Mida?
Good on you, anyone who calls it otherwise is an enemy of the thread!
>random in tower messages asking for help with agonarch rune
>I still haven't bothered with it so I need the fragment
>join him, he takes us to dreadnaught
>starts doing court of Oryx
>ask him wtf he is doing
Christ, the player base is retarded.
>blue engram as NF reward
You did the weekly already, right?
Think I might do a little casual CoO if anyone wants to join up.
I also need to do 2 Antiquated Runes in under 2 minutes if anyone wants to help out with that. Would be a good opportunity to get some engrams and use 3oCs if you have them.
>cba with lfg and shit so no nightfalls or raids
>hear Shaxx gives out nightfall quality lot for bounties
>plough through undoubtedly the longest questline in the game
>finish the mountaintop today head back to the tower
>Shaxx gives me some ridiculous piece of shit rocket launcher
>to finish all five bounties I need a fireteam anyway
Why is the Tower so comfy?
>not leveling the 2 best titan classes first.
Sunbreaker is really shit, the only fun I get out of that class is sun charge.
I don't have my sunsinger/stormcaller or my bladedancer leveled yet, but my alts are really new and I'm grinding through them with daily bounties and shit.
Really not a fan of hunters though, just can't enjoy the class compared to warlock and titan.
>>not leveling the 2 best titan classes first.
Not him, but if you're a post-TTK player, the game kind of streets you to the new subclasses, especially when you use the spark. Going sunbreaker seemed like the obvious thing to do with my titan from 25-40.
