>Can I make enough ISK to PLEX during the trial?
If you have to ask, you can't do it.
>I just started, what should I do?
Do the Opportunities then find the Career Agents & run all of their missions; they give you ISK, ships, skillbooks and teach you basics. Talk to players and try to find a corp. The game is only as boring as you are.

>Foozie makes a bunch of stupid pointless changes (don't ever remove this from the OP, because it is always true)
Old EVE player, played from the end of Apocrypha (Just before Dominion) and left right around Incarna. Came back for a little around Odyssey, but left again.
Are the Citadels actually a good thing? From what I read, it sounds like they're trying to further fuck over Nullsec (First the "rebalance" of the sanctums, then the removal of Jump Bridge highways, then the redistribution of moon minerals) or am I just being a bitter fucker about the whole deal?
Outposts can usually be toppled with a couple dozen dreads. Not supers (moms, titans) though they do speed it up.
I mean, Citadels sound like they were originally going to replace Towers (POS) but the way they make them sound like they're replacing Outposts instead...Which really rustled my jimmies.
Guys help me find a new char. I have about 6-8b to spend. And i want something around 10m sp.
Pic related. A meth head that goes to my gym who legally changed his name to cobra deathray. I dont want a char named like that.
christ people get your shit together this is literally in the OP
What is a Citadel?
It is a rather large upcoming structure that functions as both a Market and Office hub
How are the new structures (Cithadels and others) classed?
Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large
Citadels will be what sizes?
Medium, Large, Extra Large
What will be released first?
Medium and large Citadels will be released first.
Why are there no small Citadels?
Small structures are going to assimilate existing deployables, cargo containers and mobile warp disruptors. Citadels are much larger.
What do the size differences mean for Citadels?
Medium sized Citadel structures will be around 5-25km in diameter and are tailored for individual or small groups of players. They will be able to fit some appropriate defenses to offer resistance against most kind of assaults including capital ships. Moreover, players can dock inside them with sub-capital ships.
Large sized Citadel structures will be around 25-50km in diameter and are made for corporations or even small alliances. They will offer more advanced functionality over medium-sized Citadels, mainly in the form of area of effect (AoE) defenses and facilities that are more tailored to support large fleets. While players will be able to dock with sub-capitals, capitals are still up to debate at this point.
X-Large sized Citadel structures will be around 100km in diameter and are specialized for high-end alliance gameplay. On top of the mechanics listed above, they will have the best defensive options to face against particularly large groups and allow capital ships to be docked (even maybe supercapitals--to be discussed).
Fucking christ. I mean, I guess I'm okay with the ability to dock in W-space, but to be able to deploy in highsec seems stupid. I'm gonna guess CCP will do the smart thing and scale their deployment ability (Highsec can only handle Mediums, with an upkeep requirement, Lowsec can handle Larges, with anything 0.3 and lower requiring no input to CONCORD, and Nullsec for the X-Large as a replacement for Outposts) though if they're taking no input from the CSM, or the CSM is full of highsec crybaby carebears that want nobody to live in null...
8 bil is not a lot, when I ditched a old character due to some circumstances and liquidized them I had about that much, right now I am using it to train up three characters into specialized roles such as a trade, drones, gunnery. Having a dedicated trade alt is making me around 100 mil a day so far and I can start ship's skills on them soon since getting trade skills up is pretty easy. used the extra for things such as trading capital, practical ships, Training implants, cute cloths. If you do buy a character you could end up with lots of unwanted skills or they could have a reputation as a awoxer among other things.
Certainly not Valimor. Sort of blacking out a ship is cool, but a lot of AUR for something that isn't really that visually interesting against the blackness of space. Amarr advanced frig bundle if you fly them.
yeah, that's what i was thinking
gallente skins are shit, they barely change the look of the ships
amarr skins are.... weird, iono how to describe them, but the white/mahogany thing is weird
but the sanctuary one looks pretty nice
oh damn, you weren't kidding, these are fine
sucks there's no bundle for them though
>unironically using anything but Interbus, Intaki, Raata, Police or Blue Tiger skins
man, just seeing that makes me even more disappointed at the Valimor skins
the myrimdon is nice though
Valimor skins are without a doubt some of the worst in the game. It's like whoever made them just shifted the brightness, hue and saturation about 20 to the left in Photoshop.
Here's a China exclusive Ishtar.
No idea, but here's a Chinese Rattle.
inner zone shipping is ok as well. I like interbus when the hull isn't all dull and gross. it's nice on the atron, it's eh on the catalyst. I don't get why people like intaki.
please don't post this on eog
I'm not sure, but it could be to do with Chinese new year.
....yeah, okay, i'll give it that
it's a fine skin for the blops
but everything else is so fucking disappointing
not to mention, how hard can this be? just fucking tweak some hues and saturation
Reminder that the new skin for minmatar is literally rust treated stock with a few blue patches.
They even delayed half of them.
Yup. I fucking love the Guristas Ferox.
yeah, we should have access to all of them, ccp just need to start selling all this shit
How to fix this fucking game:
>Put people who actually play the game and know the mechanics properly in charge of balancing
>Remove SP but keep SP bonus
That way people will be able to fly whatever ships they want, but it will be shit for people without skills (think the stats of an EFT fit with no stats). Keep some requirements for T2 and capital ships for obvious reasons.
>Make skins cheaper
That way people will buy more aurum, 600m for a fucking skin for just one ship is way too much
using the link function lets you find all kinds of unobtainable items
>Make skins cheaper
it's too late, people will bitch about having already paid the retard prices
Maybe it was a 10 minute job, but yeah. When do I get my job, CCP?
this is kinda fun
post dream color combo and ship and i'll try my best to help you realize it'll never happen
>on a ship with 25% bonus to damage and rof for large turrets
>meta 4 scram
>on a 900m pvp exclusive hull
Easiest one yet.
Because the Guardian, like most T2 Amarr, are Sarum skinned by default.
its the same range and heats better
>missing the point
I bet you fit a t2 tank too because you're obviously blobbing
Blopsing happens to some stupid targets because there's a bunch of guys sitting looking at a blops at a pos while the hunter/s are out there playing eve. I sat for an hour looking at a Sin's ass and swore never again.
Get so bored they'll drop the world on a tackled Thrasher.
Also explains some of my shitty losses, 2hours looking for something that isn't a noobship or bait for a blob and i throw everything at the first valid looking target i can find. Just to not have to drive back to base.
Vexor has a turret bonus, so it can pve more effectively. However, both the arbi and vexor will often fit neuts in their highslots for a pvp fit, and the vexor does this more easily because it has a shitload more powergrid.
Arbitrator is probably only the superior choice if you're looking to make use of its tracking disruptor bonus, either through supporting in a fleet/small gang, or by choosing your solo targets very carefully.
Please don't sexualize Artemis. She's pure.
>photoshopping when jeremy exists
>try to do lvl 1 mission
>3 mean bully miner drones
>poor ibis-chan couldn't take it
>destroy two and get out as dmg hits structure
that was a close call
>get a real ship
don't you be dissin my Ibis
this is where I'm at right now, I only got around 50k isk right now
I am going to make it through this without using a bigger ship
le wew lad ur gay pwned get a good post oy vey goyim Trump 2016
>Only director currently active

I am going to so get grief about doing other peoples jobs because they couldn't be bothered to log in and do them.
>restart PI extractors
>pick up products and move them to factory planet
>tfw churning away while I sleep
>mfw literally free isk
It's a T2 battleship, therefore it gets blinged out.
That is enough reason in itself. Mine was full faction before I sold it.
Any of them, the difference is about three hours of skill training.
>It's a T2 battleship, therefore it gets blinged out.
>That is enough reason in itself. Mine was full faction before I sold it.
there is no reason to drop an extra 4-500m on ewar that gives you 2km more range on it when its already hard tackled by a scout
Blinging based on bonuses is what you do, not based on lol its expensive so i must bling
That extra range can make all the difference
The extra web range will allow you to pin shit further which means transversal is less which means you hit harder
Extra overheated scrams allows you to stay farther away while keeping it pinned
You need that cloak and MjD to escape your fit is literally trash and can't accommodate for a rescue squad coming in which means the lack of faction point or web puts you in enemy scram range as well because they sure as hell don't fit faction mods like you should
>You need that cloak and MjD to escape
just kidding, i'm feeling an itch i need to get back in after a few years
hao 2 huff gas?
Hop in scan frig, scan down c3+, scan down gas sites, fly back and grab huffy venture, huff profitable gas pockets for 10-12 minutes per site so slippers don't show up and fuck me, run like hell. Is that all?
What do I put in the non-essential slots, cloak or probe for the venture, any sense bothering with a tank and anything I should fit instead, etc? I saw some recommendation of a survey scanner, why would you need one of those?
lowclass gas is poop
vitals and instrumentals only
That's about it. While there's more steps to it than just AFKing in a belt, you can still get 60mil+ from one site per 10 minutes.
And on the non-essential slots, just fit as much tank on there as you can and probe scanners in case things go south and a wormhole closes/gets rolled. Most importantly you just need two huffers.
>camping gate while we move stuff through it
>Eos heading our way guys
>flying stilleto perfectly fit to tackle it
>no anon don't tackle it here, wait for our HIC to undock to get him in a system ahead somehow so he can light a cyno and blops him with 30 blops
>b-but hes right here and we've got ships ready to kill him
>no anon thats too simple, you see...
>HES RIGHT HERE I CAN GET HIM KILLED RIGHT NOW HE KNOWS ABOUT SHIT YOUR TRAP ANYWAYS
>no anon let him go he's heading right into our clever trap
>Eos warps opposite way and docks up
I fucking hate blops faggots
you don't get buttfucked either, they're all cheap skins
really wish the stabber was better, literally takes a day of kiting to kill a vexor, or a thorax, or even a brawling rupture
How do you wormbros keep your bookmarks organized while scanning and exploring? A folder for each system, naming conventions? I've only been doing some really light exploration so far and it still becomes an absolute mess in no time flat.
just name them after the sig, maybe [sig] [destination], and every time you log in you sort by date and delete the old ones. there's no point making folders and shit, the metadata is enough to keep them organised
as long as people use the trasher to get 5bil pods everyday, and the maelstrom for meme alpha fleets they won't buff them
also they buffed the rifter but I bet you can't even tell
I've not even bothered to look at this turd in eft since the buff, it's pointless. give it all the fitting you like, it still has shitty slots shitty attributes shitty bonuses and shitty weapons
>He doesn't fight newbros in a rookie ship
>He uses his blinged deadspace orth to kill ventures
y-you cannot prove that. M-MUH KILLMARKS!
>still no garmur nerf
>still no orthrus nerf
>still no barghest nerf
>still no worm nerf
>still no gila nerf
>still no rattlesnake nerf
>still no svipul nerf
>still no confessor nerf
>still no T3C nerf
>still no rapid launcher nerf/removal
>still no light missile nerf
>still no links redesign/removal
>still no logi nerf
>still no ecm redesign
Where can I find some music that's actually similar to the Eve soundtrack? Especially Below the Asteroids. I've tried looking for similar stuff, but that kind of combination of atmospheric and groove doesn't seem common at all.
But I love that shit, and I want more of it.
You get isk, bounty and asked to join all-out.
get a nice ship like me, this fit does pretty well
>damn destroyers are tough
just you wait
Well he didn't necessarily say PvP. But it at least gives him some groundwork to see what guns do what, what ammo does what, and all that shit.
which is why i'm saying best he can get and pve = no need for fancy t2's just yet.
>camp pirate relic with svipul
>astero warps in uncloaked
come on, I'll give you enough to buy 40 condors
And now all-out uses it, with a tool that parses it.
this man speaks only the truth
if you are insufferable then we begin to consider tracking you down and killing you after we kill you and if you are genuinely contrite, we continue to ask you to join all-out
is a merlin such a big upgrade? I really like the ibis's design. I have 2 million isk right now and I got 0.6 standings with the ishukone watch, I only want to do missions for them since I liked them in empyrean age
these are my skills at the moments, besides gunnery I've trained nothing else.
show Spaceship Command
lets see if you even have the skills
if you want to get into PvP, you can do well enough with Frigs V and piloting Faction frigs like the Comet, Firetail, etc.
Destroyers are alright, but expect to lose a ton early if you're not good at fitting properly
bruh, everyone after like August 2015 starts out with these
if you made a character before that, you get like 300k unallocated SP, but all new ones get this as their starting
pic related, fresh Amarr character, day 1
going to jita to upgrade for lvl 2 missions, what should I get?
probably antimatter for most things that you will be doing for the next few months, but i don't have a single point into hybrids on my main so you should probably wait for someone else to answer as well
the Sisters of Eve Epic Arc named "The Blood Stained Stars"
it's designed to be complete-able after you've done all the career missions and most of it is easier than level 1 missions. the parts that are harder aren't going to kill you, only make you ask for help (which is what it's supposed to do).
also the rest of the eve university wiki is an excellent resource
Post your name faggit, so we can bully you with isk and advice.
Tbh, you shouldn't do missions at all. Just do every tutorial mission, the SoE epic arc and ifyou actuall want to make money, do combat anoms/sites and depending on your skill, lowsec belt ratting.
I can drop a can with password with stuff if you want, in Jita no questions asked.
I'm going to start soe missions so nowhere near jita, I don't need handouts.
Don't be such an autistic loner and just fucking accept the help. Omfg, choke on a dick.
>Omfg, choke on a dick.
>mfw some /dog/ sperg wants to bribe people into being friends with him, and then spazes out when they don't want to
>ship instantly shows more damage than it did in space
funny way of saying goons renter
shut the cuck up Caleb ur dum
This might be extremely vague but I figured I'd ask anyway, what's a decent ship to get and fit without murdering my wallet. I also have an point in battleships but those are way out of my price range anyway. I'm looking for a ship that is just well-rounded because I'm not 100% sure what I want to do with it yet besides start on some combat related agents (this is definitely going to be for PvE).
