if there's something the admins don't want the players doing regardless of circumstances, code it out. Knowingly abusing exploits or violating written rules is something separate. Banning over something that can be done within the game itself is akin to having unwritten laws that still carry the full weight of law.
There's no good argument for secret laws, and things the thread has discussed and what is public knowledge are not the same things. If something is bannable, it needs to be stated in the server rules. To the best of my knowledge, there is no written prohibition against stealing the shuttle that can be found in the expected locations.

The TEG was fine. It had a 2/3rds reduction for good reason. It was easy to setup a 1 megawatt TEG in 10 minutes. Sprites don't add any performance hit mid-game, although they may add maybe 1/1000 of a second per sprite in loading time at the very beginning with the serb boots up a new shift.

So as pAI, trying to download the universal translator crashes byond and gives me a window that says "Dreamseeker has encountered an improper argument"
Upon relogging, attempting to use the pAI software interface gives me the same window and crashes again. The only way to fix that is to wipe the pAI and redownload the personality, but attempting to download the translator again makes the same thing happen.

I've already tried to uninstall byond and clear the cache. I'm using windows 8.1 (fuck forced updates) if that matters. Any idea how I can go about fixing this?
