What does an Ash Estus Flask taste like?
What are some cancerous level ideas that can be in DaS3?
>Valley of Blightgutter in DaS3
>even more swaying bridge
>poisonous leeches that attack one more time after dying
>hidden blacksmith that has 75% of all the boss weapons trading/creation
>poisonous leeches can aggro onto the blacksmith and can kill him without you being there
>NPC dark phantom that spawns on the other side of the map and waits for you in a hidden area
>only 1 bonfire
I literally just shivered in fear reading that. Fuck you, man.
>greatbow that literally just fires small trees covered in poison
>during a swaying bridge part
>miss a dodge and you die, block it and you get poisoned and panic
How absolutely devilish.
Summon sign mimics.
A giant swarm of dog-sized gargoyles as a bossfight.
The obligatory level up waifu is actually just Maldron the Assassin crossdressing. He riposts you right as you kneel to him, then goes to kill every NPC in the hub area.
seath = a bitch who did everything wrong
is there a list somewhere for all of the 1H/2H weapon options for every base-SL DaS1 class?
i'm trying to figure out something interesting to do
thinking of maybe an SL3 Wanderer with 2H Gargoyle Tail Axe
I mean, I agree, most of this place is complete cancer, but it's still nice to have a dedicated place to talk about souls 24 hours a day.
even if most people hate me for daring to enjoy ds2
It's pretty common
Ask debug anon for a pic next time he drops by
>Malyurt the Silent Assassin appears as an actual NPC for the hub area
>doesn't do anything besides giving a gesture and the occasional summon for an area
>hub NPCs start dying errywhere
>kill Malyurt because sinister yet godly voice acting and he's using a shotel
>Turns out he's completely fucking innocent and was hunting the hub NPC assassin himself
>Letting Malyurt live eventually yields a badass ring and armor set
>Killing Malyurt before all the hub NPC are murdered yields nothing
>mfw seeing someone write a shitload about how they think the legends concerning artorias are fake since when you meet him he's a berserker who screams
how can you miss the point this fucking hard
Is that pic supposed to be Artorias talking to Ornstein? I know the helmet thing doesn't look like Arty but the sword kind of does and there's the lions mane thing on the guy he's talking to.
Bitch please, ive had this idea forever. And so has everyone else.
Fuck me I've seen the "shit dude you only got 10 int" for years and never saw the source, thanks anon.
There's actually a full version of the 10 int edit.
I know this is just a fluff comic but is there anywhere that it's said that Artorias likes stuff like cats and mushrooms?
I guess because Alvina (or the illusion of her) leads you to Sif?
I think it's just because of Sif, people think Artorias is friends with animals. The game doesn't mention this at all.
I think he is an interesting character
he is smart, the discoverer of magic, has a huge library, and performs perverted experiments like Mengele.
The other dragons, apart from the serpents, just seem to be dumb big animals.
So if you were a npc phantom what boss/area would you be found at?
Friendly or hostile?
Would your AI fall to its death constantly, charge into mobs of enemies with little regard for the host? Maybe it would just spam HELLO carvings.
Because all the other "dragons" are imperfect dragons or distant kin.
Seath, Kalameet, and the stone dragon are the only true dragons left.
>would be npc invader
>Ugs or halberd, a few offensive spells, greatbow on the side
>plays opportunistic as fuck, if spotted early will bow, then attack the host if you guesture, otherwise will try to ambush the host.
>will almost kill host then find a way to choke and die.
I remember some guy suggested that 4 Kings are actually Death Kings. Any evidence/lore supporting this?
seath was a faggot but his contribution
to faggotsis unparalleled
i'd be a very helpful phantom, showing the major traps of an area, protecting the host, showing him shortcuts. then i'd drop a warmth on the boss and stand there spamming "i'm sorry"
Shulva or Pharros
Yorgh's Spear or Santier's Spear
Pharros Mask, Engraved Gauntlets, and Northwarder Trousers
Wildly swing the spears around and sippy whenever I get below 75% hp
Rosie turned out to be a dude
Ipikku wasnt good ever
Afro is a slut
Lucy is shitposting here
Emarrel is the only one i mourn, but he is having fub with monster hunter sp who cares.
The main reason that guy thought that the Four Kings were supposed to be called the Death Kings is because in Japanese the number four and the word death are both pronounced the same way. He was most likely trying to rationalize the fact that there are in fact five Kings in the boss fight (the last of which shows up if you don't defeat the penultimate king quickly enough), but the theory falls apart when you realize that while the two words might be pronounced the same, they are written using different characters, which is what FrogNation looks at when translating the names.
The moral of the story is that From is an incompetent developer
Ignore it saying Fire Tempest, I clicked Black Flame but it insists on putting Fire Tempest there.
>the two Wolverines with infinite stamina after Twin Dragonriders
HA HA HA VERY FUCKING FUNNY FROM
FUCK OFF AND DIE
>one of the best Souls games in regards to PvE
Fuck no. It has some great environments, but way too many gimmicky bosses. If you include the DLC in both DaS games they are head and shoulders above DeS
and that's my cue to get the fuck out. Enjoy it, faggots.
it feels like I do shit damage to snakes in sens
how fucked am I if I don't go farm green titanites for +5 divine?
>try to do spells builds
>they fucking suck
>want the achievements
you're supposed to critical abuse the snakes, much like the rest of the game. got through the area fine with a +8 mail breaker (lucky 2 shard drop on the first bug, no farm done)
you don’t need to use the spells, just have them. also, divine sucks major ass, only good for the despawning property. go to the depths and get the large ember if you haven’t already. or, if you wanna go full fag, go to demon ruins, get the the large fire ember, farm a few greens in blighttown and go back to the asylum. then go to vamos for a "quick" +7 fire weapon that will shred most enemies
Have you ever considered NOT using a trip?
>buy Das2 in sale
>play for roughly 50 hours
>literally zero invasions
>start new character because lol soul memory
>get invaded in Heide's tower of flame
>cool, some low level pvp!
>it's a cheater
Don't suppose there is anything like pvp watchdog for DaS2?
Fire weapons are better early game because you lack the stats to boost the scaling. Even at end game you are better off just having a regular +15 weapon and use miracles to buff your weapon as opposed to using faith weapons.
I'm worried Dark Souls 3 will be -too- action oriented.
Bloodborne was understandable since they're all wearing leather stuff, but with knights?
How do I git gud at pvp in DaS2? It feels fucking aids compared to DaS1, fucking rapiers are broken as shit with their god damn fucking retarded damage and shitty fucking hitboxes.
Tried the Zwei and holy fuck, literally 440AR at +9, what is this cancer.
Honestly so far seems to be nothing but a fucking rapier/straight sword meta shit.
I tried that Nil Curved Greatsword thing, and upgrading from base to +5 only nets 100 AR. what the fuck is with this game.
>A dragon literally 50 feet away from him that he's not slaying
i-frames and animation cancelling are key. You can win with ultra weapons, but there really isn't any reason to use them unless you want to get actually good and have fun with the game.
Is Crystal Soul Spear worth the 2 slots I use for just regular ol' Soul Spears?
They aren't that high. 15 for arrows, bolts and throwing knives, 30 for rapiers and longsword 1HR1, but that's invalidated if they have stone ring so it's a shot in the dark. All in all I just like to wear fume mask because my waifu is a monster and gyrm gloves because that poise to weight ratio is ridic.
>Dark Souls 2 has "memories", where you enter a mind-space where the final events of a creature's life is played out
>Bloodborne develops that idea into Nightmares, where the environment and architecture can be twisted and abstract.
>Implying Dark Souls 3 won't have a development on the concept, and this isn't a representative screenshot of the concept in action.
After The Old Hunters, that's the only way I can interpret it, and a version of the concept was already in Dark Souls 2, if not Dark Souls 1's Kiln of The First Flame.
Anyone have that video about cracked red eye orb farming? I'm retard and didn't save it when I had the chance last time
Reading Claymore was one of the things that got me into dark souls 1, I used it to kill everything.
I wish, Gym Gloves only got 8 Poise and 3.6 Weight vs Gym Warrior Gloves' 14 Poise and 5.4 Weight. BUT
Perfect when you're out on the side of the road to Drangleic begging for Souls so you can get your next hit of Elisabeth Mushrooms or a bottle of Divine Blessing.
>invaded the world of-
>Buttbudy Pussout has been summoned
Why doesn't everyone just use offhand
Bandit's Knifewith a Reaper
mace looks pretty good in 3
predict when a guy's gonna run it, use your battle art, win trades
>shield bash at opponent
>he puts his shield up in habit
>tfw seeing the power creep in vids of DaS3
I'm really not a fan, I loved how a lot of the stuff in DaS was very grounded in reality, as in most stuff behaved how you would imagine it would in our world, and swords taken from reality were accurately depicted.
Now looking at DaS3 if you powerstance or whatever you can perform an attack that launches people 5 feet straight up into the air.
Longsword, legion scimitars, battle axe, spear, greatsword, mace. That's it.
Only other shown weapon so far has been the shortbow, which wasn't in.
Host doesn't have his shield up, you go into the animation for shield bashing and he automatically thinks it's an attack, so he puts up his shield. The bash connects, and you kill him in the riposte. It's pretty simple to understand.
No, I never used them. And I'm pretty sure you can perform that attack I mentioned with just a regular greatsword which I'm assuming doesn't require the same stat investment as the BK weps
>have 99 Agility
>35% Equip Load
>still get backstabbed and ghostranged while rolling
U N I N S T A L L E D
Yeah, I just re-read it and I feel like a fool. I thought he was talking about bashing someone with a shield, since I heard there was one shield that could do massive damage when buffed or something like that. Thanks for explaining anon
>excited to fight aldia for first time
>its literally just dont stand in red shit the fight
doesn't matter, level to whatever you like, your SM matters more
if you are a brotherhood of blood arenafag, 150. outside of that, SL doesn't matter. blue arena doesn't have SL matchmaking.
Don't even fuck with this opinion senpai. This is official.
>farming in DS2
>not in company of champions
>No Ornstein armor in DS2 but his spear is
WHY EVEN PUT THE SPEAR IN IF I CAN'T COSPLAY AS HIM FUCK
So you can roll in the Ironclad Set and pretend you're Brer Terrapin.
What do you mean too late? Start now so you dont end up on NG+6 tryna farm. CoC NG+2 is significantly easier than that.
Kill them outside of CoC till they despawn, joining will respawn them
>speed leveling for pvp in SotFS
>see a dragon sign in no-man's warf
>fully expect shitshow
>spawns in wearing full havels
>I take off all armor
>he lights a torch and proceeds to light all the fires in the area
what a swell fellow
he wouldn't fight me after I got what I came for so I killed myself to give him a victory for helping
>Get to 1-3 for the first time in DeS
>He kills all the enemies
I would be fucking glad, I'm sick of paperfags in BB. However it doesn't seem to be the case as of the last gameplay preview, the guy buffed his murakumo for a minute with Charcoal Pine Resin.
lmfao and I just realized I need the flexile soul for my build, welp gg dragon bro's kindness made me forget my purpose
Hmm, maybe it was updated like the difference between Estus healing instantly in the preview videos and Estus healing fast like DaS1 in the Network Test videos.
Thank fuck in that case.
So I got myself Forbidden Sun and found it doing really pathetic damage, I don't know what's wrong. I have about 20 Int, 20 Faith, and a +10 Pyromancy Flame at the moment. Fire Orb is hitting a lot harder. Keep in mind, I'm using this in PvE, don't care about PvP.
Forbidden Sun just isnt very good. I think it was considered OP in vanilla (high speed, high radius, high damage) and it was one of the things that was irrepairably destroyed. Similar to Avelyns, broken santiers, and mundane infusions in general
That seems to be a bug or whatever in the network test. In the newest trailer you can see the charcoal pine resin being active for ages:
Welp, finally did it, beat all three games; took me ages to get around to finishing DeS.
Now it is time for SL1 runs.
If i remember correctly, forbidden sun either oneshottet you or took like 80-90% off of your hp bar.
I kinda miss the old meta. Buffstacking haveljesterhexers with monscim and syan halberds. Now we have robflynn poke meta.
Tranquil Walk of Peace can still be used, but it's basically a giant bluff.
Claymore was also nerfed but by no means is it useless, still wrecking idiots with it, poise break or not.
Red Iron is the best. Gigantic damage. They call it the Winblade, because you win with it.
Santier's Spear is next up there. Very versatile moveset, good reach. Make it Raw. Don't just 2hr1 mash with it.
The actual Twinblade and Stone Twinblade are about equal.
Despite the Stone's higher scaling and AR, it has a 0.85x damage multiplier and does only about 5 more damage while costing far more stamina.
While you can get the Twinblade early on, it's a STR weapon that requires 26 DEX, and doesn't do damage until fully upgraded and with high STR.
You can't really build around it.
In PvP, they're very average. Requires a lot of skill to use effectively but doesn't reward you much, though they're not bad.
Sorcerer's Twinblade might as well not exist.
So, grab Santier's Spear, break it on the crow's nest, and use that until you get the Red Iron.
>have specific build in mind
>plan route to get all the gear asap
>get tons of souls along the way from enemies dying by falling to their deaths
>get tons of soul items
>get required stats for the item I'll need before I fight a boss other than asylum demon
>feel so overpowered
even if I were to play the game naturally and gather the build's items naturally I would still get overpowered and the victories would feel empty.
I feel like I've become so skilled that this game is finally below me. And I've done an SL1 run, and an SL1 run without spells, a perma gravelord aggressive mod run, etc so don't suggest those.
I can't wait for DS3
Oh, and the Dragonrider Twinblade is pretty good.
Straight upgrade to the Twinblade and Stone Twinblade if you can handle the weight, but not as good as Red Iron.
Same moveset, but actually does damage.
Don't infuse it, but do buff it.
Magic Shield and Strong Magic Shield used to be 30 seconds long.
Strong Magic Shield used to make you completely invincible while your shield was down.
Now it lasts like 10 seconds, and Lingering doesn't work on it.
The Pickaxe and Warpick both had their poise damage reduced to the level of katanas.
This + the hammer stunlock nerfs made them suck ass outside of high damage leo counters.
Which halberd did better and still infinitely stunlocks with.
>Tanimura: Yes, this game actually went through quite a troubled development process. Due to a number of factors we were actually forced to re-think the entire game midway into development.
Well, it's got 20% str, 25% dex, 40% int scaling.
The phys scaling is laughable, the int scaling is better than most infused weapons but still kinda low.
I'd at least have enough for great magic weapon.
Its strength comes from its high base damage (for a twinblade) and RoBFlynn + a buff.
>Give Rosabeth a full set of clothes
>Decide to change one part of the outfit
>She takes everything off but that one piece
Rosabeth? Honey? That's not how clothes work.
She has the autism
Also, this is my first time pvp'ing with magic. Most of my ranged spells seem to hit the opponent in the face but do no damage...is that lag? is it pretty much par for the course?
Yeah, try to use magic to get them to roll into a setup with your weapon, homing soul arrows are king for this and soul shower too. The soul spears are really great for killing runners as it has insane tracking
Magic build effectiveness is determined by how many projectiles you can toss at an enemy and how lag happens to interact with them
Imagine there's an invisible luck stat affecting it
Maybe it's that I just end up being overleveled every time I play a Souls game (I tend to finish Scholar at SL 190-200, PtDE at 90-100), but I rarely see any co-op once I get to the Crown DLCs.
alright thanks. I'm doing a fucked up blue flame hybrid build so my ranged attacks are mostly to bait them into soul greatsword anyway. Thinking of using soul barrage because why not.
It's really a shame because the DLC bosses are great for co-op
I only summon for Elana and the optional trial zone bosses, the former because of the multiple enemies and the latter because of that reason for two out of the three of them and the fact that I don't want to have to do the run back every time when I get killed because the fights are bullshit.
This shit is annoying.
If someone dropped me a trident would I still be able to get the achievement or does it not count it unless I got it myself?
Is Drakekeeper's Straightsword still good? Did any of the DLC's add a better SS? I fucking loved that thing in base DaS2, dat poise damage and range was great.
It's still good in my opinion. As for the DLCs Fume Straight Sword is basically a greatsword with the Sun Sword's moveset. Slap on a dark resin and get the damage of a greatsword too
Sheeit sound pretty good. What's a decent build for that?
ATM I'm just 30/30 fth/int infusing my Drakekeeper's with Dark, I'm assuming this wouldn't be very good for Fine SS? Hell I don't even know if it's realistically good for Drakekeeper's, but I get better AR on this build than I did with 30/30 str/dex. Bit confused coming back in.
It's still one of the best.
The DLC added Fume Sword, which is a Sun Sword with long range.
But it's DEX / Dark, with low split damage, 40 durability, very high stamina usage.
Longsword's still better.
There's also Ashen Warrior Sword and Possessed Armor Sword.
Ashen Warrior Sword has the Short Sword moveset, long reach, low durability, and built in bleed.
Possessed Armor Sword has an ungodly amalgam of the worst straight sword / axe moves, including the Red Rust Sword's 1hr2.
It's cool looking, and has a L2 self-buff which is the best looking in the game, but it lasts a sad amount of time.
You will likely never see them used by other people.
Does the Daughter of Chaos outside the Bed of Chaos have a unique face? She uses a player model so I'd assume so.
>on my third playthrough of Scholar, now capable of beating the Ancient Dragon in one try
You know, it was always a really shitty fight, but at least the bullshit level made it tense, even if that's a bad reason for tension. Now it's only boring.
I WANT TO GET OFF THE RIDE
elemental resist is way more important than poise or phys def in DS2 IMO. Also the way elemental resist and physical DEF works is different. I believe 10 elemental resist = 1% resist while phys DEF isn't percentage based and basically sucks. You're generally better off putting points into VGR instead of pumping up VIT so you can wear armor.
Poise is important if you have a really slow weapon.
Okay, it's still a good idea with the falchion anyway
Check the op for a more detailed explanation, but armor is pretty useless for anything but elemental defense and poise
>play Demon's Souls for the first time
>get to Maneaters
>had 10k souls
>fall off the fucking stairs on the way back and die
I haven't played since. I feel like Souls are hard to come by in this game and losing 10k was a big set back especially when I'm trying to get enough stats to use this fucking Meat Cleaver.
I played the shit out of DaS1 on console for pvp
I got DaSII on console also, but stopped when I got to the poison valley place.
Is it worth picking up again and rolling through if I'm a twink tryhard faggot who's just in it for the pvp?
Should I just wait for DS3?
This isn't a good place to ask. Everyone will tell you that DS2 is fanfiction and not worth the time of day
I personally really love DS2, sometimes moreso than DS1. Just play it to figure it out man
You finally find the corpse of Leeroy, the great and mighty and brave paladin of the Way of the White. It's half-way inside a little tunnel in Nito's chamber. He died crawling into a hole in the ground, terrified and desperate to escape
God. This fucking game.
In the undead asylum, during the first visit, what causes the slamming noise when you're by the hollow soldier near the gate to get the ring? Is it the Asylum Demon or the Stray Demon?
I'm looking for the DS1 hylian shield mod (pic related).
Not the dirty one from nexusmods.
If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it.
>Hey you know what Dragon Aerie really needs to make it more fun?
>bout 2 dozen more durability damage mobs
>Got everything from the Drakekeepers except for the boots
I give up, I'll just use Velstadt's and call it a day. Thanks for reminding me to use CoC, at least. I did end up with the gauntlets
Not seeing it
I'm at SL120 now
If bone of order cant be used at all it means youre in the safe from a softban right?
Cool, did not know the Painting Guardian robes would have its sleeves rolled up when using long gloves like the Moonlight gloves.
I think that means you're just offline, desu. I might be wrong, but I remember a friend thinking he was softbanned because his bone was useable, but he was still getting summons and stuff
Well, it's there. I can restart to get a new pool of nodes if need be.
I also had a minor heart attack when I saw the double sanctuary guardians in the pond since I forget they existed
This happens to a couple armor pieces
VIT is your equip load. Your stamina refills faster if your equip load % is lower, so levelling VIT will increase your max, which decreases your percentage.
Also wear a chloranthy ring, and the shield that increases stam regen if you're desperate.
>SotFS Iron Keep
WHAT SINS HAVE I COMMITTED TO DESERVE THIS HELLISH TORMENT
>here a Knight
>there a Knight
>everywhere a Greatbow Knight
>three at once
>have an Old Ironclad
>don't fall lol
>btw NPC invasions
I want to make a mid - low level DaS2 PVP char with a simple longsword build, what's a good soul memory to stick at around, say level 60?
>no iframes at the start of fog door animation so you have to kill every single one of them, every single time
>that fucking retarded tracking the alonne knights have
I want off this ride.
I already have a low level DaS1 build for anal rodeo, I just bought SotFS a few days ago and high level PVP is boring me, nothing but havelmonsters so far so I wanted to make a mid-low level PVP build to see if it's less gay.
I make sure to awaken ALL the butterflies before I deal with the host.
Music included if I know the host isn't at the caves yet.
Okay I went ahead and killed the guardian
Can you place a sign down here instead?
No tracking is more retarded than the Undead Purgatory NPC phantom
>hefts up his greatsword, begins to swing it down
>roll diagonally toward him
>pivots Lazy-Susan-style 90 degrees to the right mid-swing to bring the strike on top of me
W A K E
Will I get softbunned in SOTFS for cheat engining in 99x cracked orbs? I really cannot be fucked farming this shit.
No. Only shit like exterior mods, dll injectors, MAYBE poison binoculars and impossible infusions (didn't ban me), and outright cheating your stats / SM to impossible levels will.
I've never bothered with going offline. Honestly man, go nuts.
If by off-chance you do get banned, and I don't know how you would since I've never been even with all the shit I've done, you can always family share and even drop your save over.
I hear certain things like itemswapping an agape ring below 30k SM can get you softbanned, is that true? I also wanted to know how safe it is to give myself two Key to the Embeddeds, or if goofy stuff like moveset swapping is still okay.
I don't know about the first two. I would just freeze my souls instead of trying that.
Moveset swapping is definitely okay. Did it all the time in vanilla DaS2, though I don't think there's a table for it for scholar.
I did it guys. I finished Dark Souls 2. I sat on the chair.
...now what? I didn't even get any bowing penis monsters.
>being this much of a faggot
I don't know what I was expecting honestly.
what do you knaves listen to as you smite filthy saracen filth from drangleic?
You know, when I first started playing DS2, I thought it couldn't hold a candle to DS1. But 100 hours into DS2 and about 50 into SotFS, I can't help but love it equally. I gave it way too bad a rap at first. Game's fucking good. Sure, it doesn't have quite the atmosphere or story, and some of the areas give me fucking ass cancer, but it improved on so many other aspects.
I hope DS3 is just as good.
I like DS2 but I also feel like it tries really hard to make me hate it.
DS1 had its issues but I can look past a lot of that because the path from firelink shrine to anal rodeo is probably one of the best examples of video game level designs ever.
Then I play DS2 and although it's fun I can't help but get annoyed at some of the shitty design decisions - and how the hell am I supposed to look past those when I'm going through, say, the fucking shrine of fucking amana?
I also did a playthrough blasting heavy metal while playing this character
The way I see it, DaS1 has better design (aside from post-Anor Londo base game) and DaS2 has better mechanics (aside from ADP). I consider them both roughly equally flawed but still excellent.
>how the hell am I supposed to look past those when I'm going through, say, the fucking shrine of fucking amana?
DS2's level design is easily its weakest point. Which is probably the biggest reason for the negative reaction to it, since the first half of DS1 is absolutely flawless in level design. When you come off something that memorable into the fucking Iron Keep, the Shrine of Amana, or even goddamn No Man's Wharf, you're gonna get mad.
It takes some time for all of DS2's good points to sink past that initial revulsion.
Can I use CE in DaS1 without being banned etc? I want to get 2 bonewheel shields for my skeltal build right as I get to firelink, the earlier the better
DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE
Atmosphere was fine, even great. But Amana was almost purposefully designed to be a fucking cancerous chore to slog through, pretty or not. Hidden falls, slow running, tracking spells from miles off, and not even a rewarding boss fight at the end of it.
Wharf is just egregiously long, to the point that I need a Repair Powder almost every time I go through it. And in SotFS, as much as I absolutely love the lighting changes, I pretty much need to use a torch.
Also, Wharf has dogs. FUCK dogs.
I also prefer DS1's pvp. DS2 pvp works better when it comes to control inputs and being smoother overall but the way the character stats work in DS2 really limits viable pvp builds IMO.
I find amana tedious just for the point of being tedious. I've completed 5 or so playthroughs and most places I didn't like I've learned how to handle or run through but amana is always still a stupid kiting slog.
I hope to god that you don't have to farm fashion in DaS3. It should be like in Bloodborne where all your fashion comes from the shop or guaranteed drops
So why were hexes and pure INT builds hated?
I never felt like doing relevant damage despite full upgrades, infused, 50INT and you basically are oneshot if you misstep once, your cast times are long even with equipment + stats giving "maxed" cast speed while locking you on the spot.
Pyromancy felt far more faceroll.
From the little I understand about infusions, it seems like it would infuse well with say, lightning? And use SLB with it? Or just go standard? Also the estoc seems like it would pair well with it for say, pvp...
Why is my status thing showing 8 ADP when I'm level 1 on a new defiled character?
Is this some sort of counter measure that kicks in when using a cheat engine, it fucks your stats so your 2 SL's higher than what should be possible and they can detect it then?
>going through the rat tunnels
>being summoned as Gray Spirit
>summoned between a Mastodon and two rats in waist-deep water
>host right there with a Dark Weapon-buffed katana
>and infinite HP
Why? It wasn't as if I was going to win. If you're going to give yourself every cheesy bitch-mode advantage in the book, why throw infinite HP on top of it? Doesn't that make all the rest seem like overkill?
I understand that. I wasn't mad. I'm just highly perplexed. If you're gonna hack for covenant stuff, at least have some fun with it. Beat my ass with a Ladle or something.
>invade some chaos blade fag
and failingto parry the silver knight
>let him at it
>finally gets it off
>as he’s healing, i run up for the bs
>fail it but still hit him
>get another hit off
>he attacks me
what was his process of mind? "this thing drains hp on hit but there’s no way it will kill me"?
How is this Leo Ring build? Should I commit to either DEX or STR and go to 50 if I want to pvp at all? Using a Chariot Lance and Spear, soon to be partisan. Kind of fucked myself upgrading a DEX and a STR weapon.
I'd thought it may have been something like that but none of the rings I'm using have an adp effect listed from what I can see
Well fuck, right as I was typing that, fucking Mad Warrior's Mask is what I'm wearing, thank you nigga I'm dumb as fuck.
>invaged in ds2scolar
>first time in 10 hours
>first online interaction in 10 hours besides being summoned with white soap
>i was afk
wtf with this scholar edition, i got no one to invade me and i have no one to summon..
Nice, I have 4 of them from farming the fume sorcerers for the chestpiece. Thanks
>unironically defending farming
There is nothing fun about that. Its literally just fluffing the time on the game.

Anyway, you should've learned by now that raising str/dex past minimal requirements for wielding a weapon is pointless in 90% of all cases.
They not red, but orange...don't know if that any diffirence or the same thing. Literally every zone im in is orange border and i get summoned really easy but no invaders, no summon signs, nothing...
But there is shitton of blood puddles, neven saw that many even at ds\ds2 start, lol.
