Matter of personal taste maybe. The luxurious seduction bodysuit to me looks odd with the heavy armor pieces. It clashes.
But how about skeletons
>TES: Redguard has a dragon and a sick ass dwemer ruin with cooler shit than Morrowind and a working airship
If only the controls weren't so shit.
SERVE OR DIE
That is what I was using, the Bella's version of the make-up specifically which is listed among the ones there. But he sent the lip masks only to me so that might work things out a bit better.
Really want an actually worthwhile as in proficient in combat follower. I heard nightblades are good in the game but the only female nightblade is eola and she dead.
Are there any other follower nightblades or mods? What are some efficient followers for combat?
The guide is shit because it recommends obsolete mods, calls shit like Oblivion XP "essential" and is generally barebones as fuck
Just because the TESG guide is shit doesn't mean demwaifus is good either
fuck off with this circlejerking crap
thats racist, skeletons have rights too
I wish there was a way to somehow have a hybrid grid/list inventory system. The grid is really nice because it can fit almost the whole inventory on one screen, but for potions and books it's annoying that you can't see the names at a glance. Life is suffering.
demwaifus can't be called a guide, it's just a link dump. But it's a good link dump and all of the circlejerkers in this thread are cancerous as fuck.
I've been looking for a mod that lets you challenge orc warchiefs for their position?
Does such a thing even exist? Im assuming with the whole stronghold being the chief's harem someone would have played with the idea.
>demwaifus can't be called a guide, it's just a link dump
What's the difference if they're all link dumps?
> But it's a good link dump and all of the circlejerkers in this thread are cancerous as fuck.
thanks faggot :3
Clarity is "okay" but kinda ugly.
Did you try NLA?
>thats racist, skeletons have rights too
The right to serve!
>What's the difference
demwaifus is full of "here are mods that I haven't tried and they may be good or they may be shit idk :^)"
It can't be recommended to someone who doesn't know how to mod
>Have you even looked at the tesgeneral guide lately?
Yeah, it's still shit. Here's one from 2015
Demwaifus isn't helpful at all, it doesn't do shit. Calling it a guide is just wrong.
It even lists mods that Izzy says or thinks are good but he hasn't even used so he won't know if they'll fuck up someone else's game. As a modding veteran I can't recommend it for new modders which is why I always direct them to tesgeneral's guide. Sorry, that's just how it is.
Yes, I'm literally one of the only people here who actually plays and cares about Oblivion
quit yer shitposting
NLA is actually rather light in terms of performance
Do you play with DoF and Ambient Occlusion disabled?
It does have guides and it only recommends good mods in every article. Why are you being cheeky cunts? I've been using the guide for the past 2 weeks for modding my game and there's nothing better out there.
Are you falseflagging or something, trying to perpetuate this le "hi izzy :^^) XDDD" meme?
I like demwaifus, it's a good resource. But it's not a good guide. Neither is TESG.
It links guides, but the site also links mods where it literally says they haven't used it
That's like if i made a guide for pokemon by listing some popular pokemon and said to use fire types even though i don't use any fire types
To be frank, both have their advantages. HD is infinitely superior, as long as your game is covered in HD made by the same team of persons instead of having Darknut's awful grime textures contrasting with Saint_Jiub's beautiful armor retextures (like in the pic).
But I'm liking it so far.
Post a screenshot of your newly modded game from within the past two weeks then. Oh wait, you can't, because you're just izzy and all your screenshots are outdated by at least two years.
Inb4 you try to change a filename to fool me, I can just check the archives and see what you've posted before.
Inb4 you just post nothing more at all because you've been BTFO, exactly what happened when you tried to pretend that you knew how to get a feature from a mod to work and then just shitposted endlessly pretending you were right when you were really just full of shit.
Izzy posting format
<clarification of his point and defending of the current subject>|<insult paired with question that is made to make the quoted poster look bad>|<praising of the subject and talk about personal accomplishment or attempt to devalue others opinions>
This. Don't you idiots see he's trying to make you angry? He's never had anything useful to say, he only wants to shitpost endlessly for attention because it makes him feel alive. Stop taking him seriously already and just ignore him like the child he is.
I've never seen this mod recommended much, but try Vivec Open Air Plazas.
Kill yourself because the 3 posts you quoted are absolutely true and you will never, EVER be able to refute them without deflecting, backpedaling, and spouting ad hominems.
>And how is linking a good mod a bad thing?
Only if they haven't used it, because then there's no assurance from the linker that it's good or decent or even works
>Where does it even say they haven't used a mod?
>Unofficial update to DarnUI - I don't use this but you might want to
Especially with the word "update" in the mod title, the reader loses all assurance from the linker that it's actualy worthy of use and the title
>Alternative Start Arrive by Ship, Alternative Beginnings, or New Beginnings - I don't know which one is the best to use
The fuck is that, what kind of guide doesn't even know which mod to use
>Elz - Unique Footstep Sounds - I don't use this but it's worth a mention.
WHY is it worth the mention, WHY don't you use it?
>Grab Companion - I haven't used this but from what I can tell it improves the above's carry companion feature
>Oblivion Character Overhaul v2 - haven't used it but it seems to be all the rage
I don't know. I'll stick to Seasons I guess. From all the ones I tried at least it isn't eating away my vram or making everything fucking dark or brown.
n-nothing against redguards
I haven't done any of that, just asked questions. You're projecting.
>then there's no assurance from the linker that it's good or decent or even works
But if it is good or worth noting why wouldn't it be on there? Fair enough but I don't see why you're so bothered, you must be an asperger kid.
>But if it is good or worth noting why wouldn't it be on there?
How does the reader know it's good or worth noting without spending time learnign the history of that mod, other mods like it, and other bullshit stuff they don't care about?
They read a guide for that.
But by not using it yourself, the reader loses all confidence in the linkdump/guide/whatever the fuck you want to call it
This usually ends two ways
Smart people just dont download it at all
Stupid and lazy people download it with all the viruses and mp3.exes they got from other recommended sites
>Fair enough but I don't see why you're so bothered, you must be an asperger kid
It's not assburgers
It's barebones and clearly the person who made it does not play Oblivion or hasn't in years and is going off of bad information provided by other people who don't know what they're talking about.
BOSS is nowhere to be seen but LOOT is recommended. BOSS is the load order manager to use for Oblivion, end of story.
Oblivion Reloaded makes it obsolete.
There is absolutely NO reason this needs to be listed as essential. It's an option, but it's in no way essential. Calling the Oblivion leveling system bad is literally a meme; once you remove level scaling mobs, the problem is fixed.
>Enhanced Hotkeys but no Hotkey Pro
>Think To Yourself Messages
Oscuro's already does this.
>Realistic Player Dialogue Overhaul
It's a bad mod. "Realistic" my ass. It does nothing but limit roleplay options. Pic related. How is that better than vanilla game? "Resist Arrest" leaves it open to interpretation, but the mod just adds needless dialogue and kills any sense of character.
>HUD Status Bars
HUD Status Bars Enhanced exists
>Reneers Guard Overhaul
Notoriously buggy, causes game breaking bugs.
>"the best magic mod"
Nice opinion but it's wrong.
Vanilla Combat Enhanced already fixes this, as does Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul, and Oscuro's to a lesser extent.
>Better Dungeons hidden in the Quests section for some reason
>Insanity's Improved Armory
The mod is literally just upscaled textures, it's a waste of a giant download.
>Oblivion Reloaded under graphics
It does much more than graphics and should be in the Essential section.
There are tons of mods that should be added as well.
that's not the picture I meant to post, oops
Great post dude, have an upvote
Why don't you ask him? I know they are good though and wonder why you're being autistic over this.
There's always this 1 autist who thinks he knows shit but his screenshots just look like sprinkled shit.
>screenshots just look like sprinkled shit.
Who cares? Who is playing Oblivion for graphic whoring shit? It's 2015 and you might as well be playing Skyrim. None of the points I made were about graphics. Completely irrelevant.
The mod is really old and he did not do that with that mod. His other mods like Weapons of Morrowind and Weapon Improvement Project are really great but Improved Armory is absolutely not.
Sorry for backing up my arguments instead of continuing to fling shit around.
>Why don't you ask him?
Because that defeats the purpose of keeping a guide up instead of a chatroom
>I know they are good though
Then you get the obvious and already stated problem of "if it's so good why don't you use them"
Oh jesus christ I forgot that existed. I figured you were talking about the Improvement Project, I apologize for calling you a mong.
Anyway the tesgeneral guide is limited based on the suggestions from this thread, and I think it was pretty much just one or two guys feeding him what to put since few people are really in-the-know with the current state of Oblivion modding.
If you have suggestions for improving it you should really, really message Guardly. Mention the changes you'd want to see, and maybe even give him your steam name so you can talk to him more in private. tesgeneral.com is only as good as its contributors.
why would it organize mods any differently? Both apply from the same group of masters lists, LOOT is just BOSS 3.0
fuck they should never have even changed the name and confused people jesus
maybe I'm going to be BTFO because of something I don't know but seriously even then it would be a serious oversight on their part, not mine, there's literally no reason for it to be worse
I'm pretty sure LOOT uses a different logic to sort mods in a "smarter" way than BOSS does. It definitely sorts the mods in a different order.
Oblivion's BOSS masterlist is still updated regularly, it's still the standard.
Boris says the default settings of the skse.ini patch is invalid, that Skyrim's default scrap heap can only be about 680 tops because its still a 32 bit application, so the default 768 can sometimes lead to crashes.
Has anyone ever had to adjust it down to 512 to prevent CTDs? Just curious.
That's why I wanted to talk about it, mine's been 768 for ages and I only get an occasional CTD but I never considered that it might be because of my DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB
water flickering is usually caused by some sort of cell conflict, usually because something is editing the water that RWT already edited. Either that or its a GPU anomaly. Reloading the game may or may not temporarily fix it.
I've seen it happen around Morthal a few times
Means you need to cap it so it doesn't go over 60 because then havok bugs out. You can do it by enabling vsync, turning on the limiter in ENB, or (ideally) using nvidia inspector or something similar to cap the FPS right from the GPU driver.
the physics break when you have higher than 60fps. Have you not noticed any weird physics shit? Like people lifting flying off into space when they ragdoll or attacks coming out abnormally fast? Turn on vsync or use a framerate capper. Also turn off depth of field and ambient occlusion in your enb and see if that helps the framerate.
Also which enb are you using? Some presets are not meant for gameplay, they're just too intense.
Is the HESU mod and skyrim sindem a good choice instead of UL? What if I merge them both?
Dungeons seem pretty good.
Is there a mod that makes Skyrim's drinks useful? Or even the same effects as they were in the previous games? I imagine things like Skooma might be hard, but the Dunmer drinks are so worth the effort of doing.
>there are no cool weapons with unique stuff
Tons of mods add cool weapons with unique stuff. Like Vigilant or the same author's BB specific mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/3863233/
Post yfw first time you saw Snowy "The Man with the Plan" Granius
How do I into editing follower tattoos with EFF when having the racemenu mod. Tried it and it didn't work but EFF says I only need racemenu, right?
And what is the proper FOV to be using?
most creatures have 10/10 replacer mods out there, like the great one for nix hounds, so darknut creature textures are really not needed. Most armor is taken care of by http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/41947/?
I haven't found a definitive replacer for weapons yet though. Darknuts are alright for the most part.
whole gang over in that region tries to kill me without saying a single word yet they're all named
>keep thinking i fucked up and broke a quests since they have names and therefore must be important
Jaxonz Real Names is a Skyrim mod that will allow you to rename things and people as well as procedurally generate names for bandits/guards/dragons and anything in need of a name
It's much better than MGSO, sadly, a lot of content clashes a lot aesthetic wise, mostly because of the many different authors.
It's not a critic at guidefag, instead, it's a critic towards Morrowind modders.
In other games, like New Vegas, modding the game is far less noticeable because it is a 2010 game after all, so textures are naturally more detailed than Morrowind's, plus it's hard to go wrong with desert+rock+metal textures.
I will stick with vanilla/watercolored vanilla from now on, because no matter how hard I try, I find it harder to like modded Morrowind than vanilla.
Yes, cue the "is watercolor fag the retard of the month?" poll.
There it is! There it is again!
Read the fucking descriptions, mate. It doesn't hurt.
The fact you can pick Master locks in vanilla with 1 point in Lockpicking already makes the entire tree pointless.
There is a mod that gives you a power that lets you remove equipped spells, so you can at least get rid of them two at a time.
The author also has a power removing spell mod as well if that tickles you.
Makes sense, especially with Morrowind. Even in Skyrim some textures clash too much, like Tamriel Reloaded and its baked-in mid afternoon shadows on stonewall textures.
have you ever looked at Permas Perks or Ordinator?
Dude im not saying vanilla is better but holy shit requiems perks are bottom shit tier.
Like seriously, please stop spouting nonsense and take a look at SPERG, Ordinator or Perma. Thats how you make perks
Not him but everyone knows how bad Vanilla is. Its just that Requiem doesnt really tries to fix that. I love how Ordinator and Perma turn lockpicking into a Pacifist tree. On the one side you have your lockpicking and loot finding Perks, on the other side you have your non-lethal takeouts and stuff like stealing weapon out of the enemies hand and knocking him unconscious with it, all this kind of stuff. And thats just the lockpicking tree as example
You mean the perks like "everyone around you turns on fire"?
If you want high fantasy stuff, it's ok, but some of us prefer perks that make sense.
Requiem is a balance and difficulty overhaul, not a "look at all these cool spells" mod.
That's right. Moreover, it is especially noticeable because of the different quality. Like I said, Tyddy's work is fantastic, but then you have Darknut's armor textures shitting on the aesthetic.
If only CaBaL bothered modding Morrowind. I keep dreaming one day Todd will call me into his bedroom and whisper into my ear "you can build your own team of people who will help you modernize Morrowind", and then I name:
- Trainwiz (top kek)
- Melchior Dahrk
before Todd whispers "your wish has been granted" and fucks me in the ass.
>mfw the mage trees
1: Make Spells stronger
2: make them cost Less
3: increase duration
4: Vanilla effect (soultrap, fear, absorb effects)
Not exactly revolutionary or offering lots of customization
Why did you make her Bacon. Only Aurururururururun is bacon.
Hey, Eiries. If I want to say install SG for all the default races, but then replace 3 of the races with another skin texture manually, how do I do that? I just tried copying over the femalehead_msn for the appropriate races but nothing changed.
Basically what I want is a few races for SG and a few for Pride of Valhalla.
It's funny you say that, I find a lot of Cabal's environment texture to be very hit-or-miss. Out of all of them I think I only use one of his landscape textures.
Hein84's my man when it comes to environment textures. Cabal's a beast when it comes to armors and such though, I just get the feeling he wasn't sure what direction to take many of the landscape and city textures.
The color? It's just the point lighting; she is quite pale.
All non-beast races use the same textures by default, the only difference is the face msns. You would need a mod that seperates them. I'm pretty sure there's a few out there.
>Requiem is a balance and difficulty overhaul, not a "look at all these cool spells" mod.
Thats not what these mods do tho. They take the fantasy of the Perk Trees and the magic of them and make them better, more fun, and much more indepth.
The Speech tree in PERMA allows you to turn into a member of the opposite faction when you wear all their clothes and your faces is hidden, then you take illusion and inject nightmares into everyone, watch them go insane while you proceed to your target. A simple touch of the target when he sleeps sents him into deep depression and makes him kill himself. Or dont use magic at all, walk by them casually and slip Paralyze poisons into their pockets, add some poison and watch them die never knowing what hit them.
There are lots more of these examples. or like how they make enchanting a viable tree for a pure enchanting playthrough. You say your character is Unable to cast magic? No worries, with those perk trees you can craft almost any spell onto staves and scrolls and play with that. Just another example.
The Smithing tree from Requiem is the same as Vanilla. Allow to craft X and then improve X. Thats it. Nothing fun for people that love smithing, nothing exciting.
I like most of Requiems features but the perk trees are severely lacking in variety and depth.
What does that even mean?
Like I said, Requiem doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. They only bother about fixing certain things that really sucked about vanilla, while adding a few neat twists.
For example, if you don't have any perks in magic trees you just can't cast the spells. It is a necessity to put points into them if you want to use them effectively. Maybe I'm wrong, my last vanilla playthrough was 18 months ago, but I don't remember vanilla magic being like that.
Mostly because of his content mods, I'm sure he could provide some insight on overhauling the endgame and such.
I absolutely adore his armor and weapon textures, and his Imperial Forts are beautiful. I would assign him to that post. Then, Tyddy and Lougian for architecture and environment. Arukinn, Psymoniser, InsanitySorrow and Melchior Dahrk for everything clutter related. And Flash3113 for clothing, along with Saint_Jiub (totally forgot about him).
>see UC update in my tracking center
>not the FNIS 6 patch
Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?
It probably didn't work quite like that...
Just the roads, which is why you have to make sure it'll work right with your snow textures.
>tfw finally finished the follower
dont think i ever procrastinated with something this long. Now just editing the Skeleton in nif and im done.
>not recognizing Chrysamere when you see it
im a pleb with swords
Is that an Anne follower?
must b nice
Check out frank's other works; his Ice Blade of the Monarch is god tier and I don't think I've ever seen someone use it here.
I would have but I don't have many two-hander specializing characters and they already have their pretty swords assigned.
in fact im already looking through them, some really good looking shit
Yeah, I meant Anna. There's too many waifus with similar names.
>Northern country with snow and ice errywhere
>everyone posting girls wearing chain bikini and skimpy clothes.
This was good in Morrowind and okay in Oblivion, but in Skyrim this is shit.
>playing as hunky vampire
>mfw altmer qts talk down to me
>mfw they don't know about that cold vampire dick
Why they gotta be even colder, man?
They should be warmer
in the base game
No snow in Whiterun. And she lives in Falkreath :^)
I used to have more but I can't find them for some reason. Or I'm just imagining things.
>uninstall a mod that changes a UI component
>need to reinstall DarnUI after to restore elements
>mfw realizing how many files I overwrote and how much shit I need to fix now
Skill/Str/Blt build, Reiterpallasch and Hunter's Pistol. Gonna face Shadows of Yharnam soon. Hate that fight.
You never specified which game, you plague ridden rat. :^)
Just posted in here the first time
vampire black knight
two handed, dark armored with better vampires mod
never go out in the sunlight
refuse to kill anyone begging for mercy
until they get back up and attack me again
immediately target enemies using fire until one of us dies
focusing more on blocking/parrying and counter attacking than straight up left-clicking all day
Pretty decent so far
if only the fucking combat mechanics weren't so fucking floaty and the RPG mechanics actually existed
the controls are a real shame, especially since it's one of the few elder scrolls games with a good combat system
also Redguard had the best Necromancer
Lucky you then. And thanks.
I seriously hate this character so f*ckin much lad
I respect that. That's why I'll exclusively post him from now on.
>watercoloring some textures
>dad comes closer to me
>switch windows so that he doesn't see me doing nothing
>had that pic at full size
>"so this is why you were cumming blood"
Skyrim is shit because all of its faults (boring world filled with only 3 house templates and like 2 architectural styles for cities, terrible main story and quests, lack of rpg elements, etc) can't be fixed with mods like all the faults for Oblivion could.
begins with the thieves guild as a new immigrant to Skyrim, a love of locks, traps and mechanisms blossoms into a tendency towards tinkering, alteration magic and enchantments over true stealth. Once she has the gold for an education, leaves behind her low birth to study magic and the dwemer. Becomes a premier scholar with a shady past, occasionally will go back and do a job as a favor, usually only when interested in particular locks or traps. She grows into a powerful alteration mage with a merely practical understanding of destruction, and no other magic.
Lots of dwemer questing and scavenger hunts (Egg of Time, Morrowloot, Wheels of Lull, Lost Wonders of Mzark, Aethernautics, Blackreach Railroad, and many others) after theives' guild and mages guild. Never acts as more than a consultant/historian to the mages guild or a consultant to the Thieves' guild.
>watercolor anon is cumming blood anon
what? were the textures too
You don't really get literally any choice in doing anything, it's all fetch quests, it's rushed but no punishment for not rushing it, eveything is a locked door, final boss is almost literally just a scripted random dragon encounter with forced allies so you don't do shit, and it ultimately means NOTHING for the world.
Not even mentioning how fucked up the story is.
Vagabond Hunter (Bloodborne)/Ex-Pirate
Primary: Sneak, Speech, One-handed, Archery, Light Armor
Secondary: Two-handed, Restoration/Destruction, Block
Well for one there was more than one option for which daedric artifact you used
And was less fetchquest more "go here and talk to the person and do something while getting the item"
Plus the gates actually fucking did anything on the map and had some kind of impact
But it still suffered from "locked door" syndrome
So does anyone have any experience with Oblivion crashing whenever it attempts to save? It seems like after I start it up again I'm able to load the new save file just fine, so I suppose more than anything it's just annoying.
Also, am I not supposed to use autosave and quicksave? Apparently a lot of people have issues with non-manual saves corrupting.
>tfw addicted to skyrim
it's such a massive waste of time but i can't stop
someone help me
>So does anyone have any experience with Oblivion crashing whenever it attempts to save?
Yes. It's the latest version of Oblivion Reloaded. I had to go back to version 2.2 because of this.
>Also, am I not supposed to use autosave and quicksave?
Yeah, bad idea. Just manually saving a new save every time is the best way to do it. I save a ridiculous amount so it builds up quickly but every once in a while I just go to the save folder and delete most of the old ones.
If you find typing to be quicker than opening the menu, you can open the console and type
<name> being whatever you want the save to be called. A nice way to keep track of things, too.
>get free minerals and crips, chat to qt nurses
>drink one can and im absolutely locked
Why isnt alcohol more potent the less health you have? Is there a mod for this?
Blood is more potent than alcohol, you know.
Just fill vials of your own blood, freeze it and then drink after a week. Shit's great.
Man, you're talking to the wrong people.
what do you mean
im not wacking it the whole time, it's off and on
i try not to treat it exclusively as fap material, i actually play it
not like a truly want to stop anyway, but i wanted to make sure i know that it is a real probelm and admit it to someone
my cat didnt say anything when i told it
>ask Eorlund Greymane to get my restraints off
>he puts more on and dumps me at fucking Morthal
>I have to run back to Whiterun without sprinting or being able to defend myself
>get back and he takes everything off but my piercings and my corset
>literally seven seconds later "YOUR DESIRE FOR BONDAGE OVERWHELMS YOU"
>character puts everything right back on
I wasn't even doing it for the fetish. I wanted to roleplay a Dunmer slave that escapes her captors, kills them, and becomes a badass bounty hunter/assassin. Now I've got to figure out which of these fucking Loverslab clusterfucks is making me put that shit on two seconds after I take it off.
>I wasn't even doing it for the fetish.
sure you weren't.
>namefagging but not avatarfagging
You disappoint me.
>he takes everything off but my piercings and my corset
Skyrim, where gay bronies can live out their trans gendered furry fantasies.
This thread needs more spicy materials.
So how do I get those Lazy:Moment animations working?
How do I initiate them?
I wanted to try them but I can't find out how, my moonrune isn't that up to par nor is Google's.
Talking about these:
/tesg/, where autistic shut-ins who can't even find their own dicks anymore can pretend they aren't a waste of oxygen
>You disappoint me.
I do that a lot to people
at least do me the courtesy of putting effort into your b8, anon.
Is there a single one-piece swimsuit mod out there that isn't of the japanese school design?
I just want a regular western onepiece...
I remember the days when people used to post attractive Altmers.
>needing anything other than japanese school swimsuits
>Pure Weather or CoT? Why?
Purity and load realistic water 2 after it.
Well, I use unbleak so I prefer a realistic but slightly bleak look that isn't desaturated and still has moments of beautiful colour. Pure Weather with unbleak and ELE+RLS fits that look better. CoT is fancy vanilla-looking weather.
Well one of them does
since he's a bastard and was never told. Irileth is just an over-protective housecarl to her life-long friend/king. Might as well be married with how they bicker with each other
Well Igrod is married. Her housecarl is her husband and they have a son and daughter. Elisif WAS married as well.
>If I had a sister, I'd sell her in a second
Did Belethor mean he'd pimp out his sister on the corners of Whiterun? Are Bretons the Jews of Tamriel?
The one in Morthal isn't
>you will never ever learn how to cap your FPS on amd card
>you will either have a gonzillion fps without ENB or 2-3 fps with ENB
What is a good ENB that will help me keep my FPS' capped? I've tried the "good" computer ones but seriously my computer is "good" but they eat away resources like anons working at a glory hole.
Oblivion was the awkward middle child between Morrowind and Skyrim. Evidenced by the fact that Skyrim and Oblivion were released within the same console generation yet Oblivion looks like it was supposed to be for the previous generation but got moved to the next.
Belethor is just a lovable sleezeball from high rock
>by objective standards I know it can't be true
It is true. I played Oblivion first but Morrowind's world and graphics seem to have a special kind of charm. Cyrodiil is too much fairytale shit while Morrowind is much darker. In Oblivion you see all sorts of generic beasts, but it's in Morrowind where you actually feel like exploring an strange and mysterious world. Though Oblivion has great quests and the oblivion planes look awesome.
Any of them, just enable the FPS limiter in the ENB GUI
Correction, Belethor is actually a loveable sleazeball from The City and his name is actually Garrett, a thief.
>tfw a Garret playermodel and weapons mod exists
>tfw you can equip Mercer Frey with it
>Oblivion and Morrowind's main quests were great though.
Nah. Bloodmoon is much better and more engaging than Morrowind's MQ and shitty final dungeon crawl. The fact that you can beat all of Oblivion at level 1 is a testament to how shit it is. There isn't even a last boss in Oblivion you just run and trigger a cutscene where Martin kills him.
this doubled my fps on amd
also if you're having issues with modern enb, use an old version of enb and force vsync through your card. That caps essentially caps it. I recommend enb versions 108.
the fps cap setting in the enb ini isn't accurate and can actually hurt your framerate.
Where the hell is the SKSK folder?
I'm fucking going insane.
I'm trying to place an NPC's .NIF into the FaceGeom folder inside the SKSE folder so that I can import it, but have no idea where it is.
I've done it before successfully but for some reason I CAN'T FIND IT.
I've checked everywhere and am honestly astonished I can't find it, as I've been inside the folder multiple times.
Please help I'm going insane.

I kind of think Skyrim's is decent. Not better than Morrowind's, but there's potential, if Bethesda wasn't lazy.
But maybe it's just been too long since I bothered with either main quest and my memory's fuzzy.
if it isn't there you have to create it yourself
My setup is pretty low-end but I happen to have 10GB of ram however closing out of the game I noticed that it just doesnt use very much ram. Is there a setting I could turn up to actually take advantage of my available ram or is skyrim just way more GPU/vram bound?
Copypasted world and dungeons, even less unique artifacts than Skyrim, the worst level scaling in any Bethesda game, garbage dialogue that doesn't even sync up correctly so you have beggars randomly switching in and out of posh accents, and ugly armor and weapon design. The only redeeming factor is the side quests and KotN.
I think I've seen this before but it must have been a while. A mod that just adds a floating mountain outside whiterun for some reason by mistake. I delete it but the LoD texture is still there (the thing disappears when I get near it), but it would be nice to know what caused it.
Sword and Shield with perks dedicated to one handed, heavy armor, smithing, and blocking. I'll use Bows/Crossbows for fun but I don't invest a lot of points in them. With this character, I also joined the Companions guild and I decided to roll as a werewolf as well for variety.
With my other two characters that I have,
For Nisrrina: I focus on stealth and minor illusion magic.
For Kal-Meena: Conjuration.
I checked my map and the thing is even there too. I can't help but feel "A Quality World Map" has something to do with it, but it seems strange to me why that would affect this. I don't know why this mountain keeps getting generated even after the object was deleted. Everything else is fine (I fixed everything else but this remains).
I wouldn't go that far. You were the hero. It's more like a story where the "hero" and the "Chosen One" are two different people. Because while Martin did deal with Mehrunes Dagon, the PC did the vast majority of all the bloody work and "hero"ing.
That was a good thing. Your character in Oblivion didn't need special snowflake powers to save the world, he did it by outmaneuvering the antagonists.
Skyrim would have been a better game if Ulfric were TLD, and you had to pull his head out of his ass one way or another to defeat Alduin.
Just checked and the last mod that referenced the object was the stryker patch for JK's Skyrim and Expanded Towns and Cities. Checked the patch page and found this:
A stray edit moved a mountain from Winterhold to the sky near Whiterun. A hotfix file is provided to fix this. Load it after the Stryker Patch files."
Looks like a stray edit. I was using this mod some months ago and was probably where I thought I saw it before, but forgot about the hotfix.
>This is the only way to stop this invasion from Oblivion? I must confess, you are the first person to speak of victory against these daedra. This war has seemed hopeless to me, but what else was there to do but hold on and wait for a hero to arise to save us? And now it seems there is an heir to the throne after all, hidden at Cloud Ruler Temple... and perhaps a hero as well.
Do goblins have their own name, the way "Dark Elves" have Dunmer, "Wood Elves" have Bosmer, and so on?
>activate a single mod (in this case it's the Beserk Black Swordsman Armor)
>"This game file relies on content that is no longer present."
How does activating a single mod somehow remove something?
What is happening?
A certain group of beast-folk, to be precise, including goblins, ogres and gremlins. Orcs are also sometimes counted as 'goblin-ken', but not other beast races like Khajiit, Argonians, Imga etc.
>What is happening?
Who knows? I had to ditch my last play through because Skyrim would crash on any save I loaded. Even ones after I started a new game
I didn't add or remove any mods either
Kirkbride'd be gold if he learned to be more self-consistent, played less fast and loose with imagery and word meanings and lost the obsession with bland word salad "sci-fi" and transgender mary sue husbando.
So luckily I had a previous version of OR downloaded, and after rolling back saving seems to work again. If anyone's having a similar issue of CTD's after saving, here's Oblivion Reloaded 3.0.2
>crash on load
You had no mods installed at all?
no, I had mods. I quit playing one night and the next day I couldn't load any saves at all from that profile. nothing was changed whatsoever and I lost a character sunk 60 hours into.
Glad you fixed the issue. It was driving me crazy for the longest time, too.
I've got every version since 1.4 stashed like a hoarder. I don't know why Alenet doesn't make them available on the page.
What he does is like a mathematician telling you you're allowed to define a set but not the concept of equivalence. Or telling you something is an axiom despite being derivable from other axioms. It's not so much contradictoriness but redundancy and arbitrary choices. Like the whole "Yokuda's in the past" fiasco.
If you had poser mods, then you probably could have coc elsweyr/qasmoke.
Behavior files don't really load up all that well when loading from a save file. So your best bet is to coc somewhere then load your save file from there.
>watching a cutscene instead of an interesting final battle is a good thing
Off yourself. You don't need to be the chosen one to have a decent end game battle and dungeon.
I'd void her warranty, if you know what I mean.
If you do, please tell me because I don't.
I'm not saying there shouldn't have been a final battle (which is probably what that pansy-ass high elf was supposed to be). I'm saying that being repeatedly told you're only capable of killing shitty dragons because you have special snowflake powers is obnoxious and stupid.
>beast races no longer digitigrade
Morrowind is the only game in the series that did this.
>stamina being called "fatigue" in morrowind
Skyrim is the only game in the series that doesn't call it Fatigue.
What the fuck kind of shitposting is this
