No. Merc unlocking system is very similar to LoL's champion unlocks.
There are also loadout cards with different rarity, but those aren't going to make you less shit at the game, and everything above bronze is purely cosmetic

The game has shit-tier directional audio so it doesn't really make a difference. There is no smooth transitions in audio volume, its either on or off. Close your eyes and you can't tell the exact direction of anything. Important sounds that should play are randomly deleted and you hear irrelevant stuff from the other end of the map. Footsteps audio is trash.

Red Eye is more of a mid range sniper with the Grandeur and Dreiss so him having more HP makes sense. PDP makes him longer range, but the other two guns are more mid range since they lack scopes.
Vassili having machine pistol secondaries it's a bit silly though I agree. If anyone should have them, Red Eye would make sense having one of his three secondaries being a machine pistol and for the Grandeur and Dreiss loadouts.

Tbh I'm pretty disappointed Sparks REVIVR is getting a damage dropoff nerf
In pubs when she's hiding behind a wall of teammates she's frustrating as fuck to play, but in comp she can get shutdown pretty fast and becomes an almost necessary evil with how quickly people follow up kills with gibs. I feel like the nerf to 1s getup time was appropriate for such a powerful ability, but nerfing her ability to contribute beyond reviving in a teamfight is just gonna drive more Sparks players away into being a 2nd Sawbonez.
Guess we can replace Sparks with Fletcher and add her name to the grave markers soon, because people refuse to accept the concept of a sniper/medic hybrid and keep falling into the same endless trap of being wounded or killed by her

Stoker is great. He's strong, great guns, each gun has a Drilled card, ammo station blocks, great ability with reasonable cooldown. His ability is weaker on more outdoor maps, but he's great on most maps. Good at clearing out clusters of enemies, taking down generators, and blocking doorways.
I usually take him and Kira/Arty. Stoker comes out for when I need to push or clear out things in doors.

He's streamed before and it's pretty obvious he doesn't. If you notice, he just plays behind everyone. I've watched streamers go against him and you basically never see Subz.
