The later you build mystical mail, the less useful it is. I don't think you should build it unless you are doing it 1st or second. I also don't agree with soul eater (especially with ninja tabi). as Amaterasu's auto attack damage doesn't warrant lifesteal.

I'm really liking warrior tabi>ichaival>defence (usually BoV)>frostbound>defence>executioner. I think that makes you hit hard enough & with the sustain from your heal & your 2, you can 1v1 fairly easily and sometimes if you play it right, 1v2.

Ichaival will be better for 1v1 boxing due to decreasing their damage while increasing your own & cooldown ratio will allow you to heal and switch auras more.

In a physical lane where you can bully, I might try rushing mystical mail into boots, frostbound, more defence, then executioner & Qin's.

The last 10 games I've played the enemy team has had Ares.
What the fuck is up with that?

If you have your sword+shield out (from the 1) you reflect the enemy's basic attack damage back at the enemy.
If you have your scourge out (from the 3) you heal yourself every third hit.
You generally want to use these.

Also, Amaterasu gets free 30% damage boost from her passive and free power from her 1. She will probably receive some nerfs.

Bellona's hammer isn't good for 1v1 boxing. Amaterasu will out sustain you with her passive that weakens you, 1 that heals and powers her & 2 that gives her damage mitigation and sets up for her burst. If Amaterasu had ichaival and you didn't that would also factor into it.

Bellona's 1v1 against auto attack gods is pretty much disarming them & using the sustain from your 3 until they turn to run when you use your 1 and just walk them down, ulting if they flee or if you want to initiate with it.

Fighting an amaterasu feels similar to fighting a nemesis, where she quickly tips the balance in her favour even if she's losing to begin with and fucks you bloody.

Speed buff thing is probably indirectly a Mercury nerf. Are they changing the actual effect of the buff as well?
Moving the blue buff further toward mid means it will probably be able to steal or deny. Potentially the shortlane will see more hunters since they need less mana to farm well. Maybe also a buff to sustain items, I dont know what the item changes are going to be in that regard.
GF pit and the mid harpies look like they will have more dynamic fights because of the side entrances, i like the look of it.
Purple buff is finally gone, yay.

I think we'll see more fights and shenanigans in the other teams jungle since for the most part all the walls are shorter and there's lots of paths. expect leaps to be even better. Also: looks like maybe you can't leap over the mid harpy wall to mid anymore? at least not from FG side maybe. Idk.

If you want even more defense for your last item, Hide of the Nemean Lion is a good choice. Alternatively you can buy Soul Reaver and your Yawn > Uppercut combo will probably one shot some faggot ass Mage.

I play Kumbha like a bully. Once you've got Breastplate online your cooldowns pop so fast you'll be CCing people non stop and it'll take the whole team dog piling you to take your fat ass down. His damage is also pretty impressive for a Guardian even when building full tank. Most people don't expect it

Nothing feels better than spamming VER to the solo laner who had the good sense to get in between you're snoozing ass and tank some hits so you could wake up and run. My experience with the game so far is positive compared to the mobas, but no one is safe from the kiddies and turks..
So far I've been enjoying kumbhakarna, geb, afrodite and ares.

As far as supporting goes, Kumbhakarna's CC is mostly pretty soft outside of his Ultimate. Put a point into his 2 because the root is godly but focus on leveling his 1 and 3. The mez/slow is more helpful for peeling people off on a retreat, but if you have them dead to rights it will have them as sitting ducks. The 1 just does a shitload of damage on its own, but at about rank 3 it can leave a minion wave at deaths door for your ADC to pick off, and at higher ranks it'll clear all but the strong minions instantly. Obviously level your ult every time it comes up. It's a great way to disrupt the enemy in a team fight or get an almost guaranteed kill on a Mage, Assassin or most Hunters

That's for the people who haven't seen how smite works.

There is some vagueness to how the fire giant works & the symbolism of the eyes which could've been missed by people who haven't played smite & don't know how those things work.

The drama is supposed to contrast with the fight in the lane where everyone on Bellona's team is light-hearted and almost toying with the enemy. Certain points were a little too tacky, like Bellona crying for Ymir, but otherwise, it did well enough.

The only real problem I had with it was the timing at the end. The final crux shouldn't have been killing the fire giant and getting the buff, it should've been the smackdown on the enemy team which happens after the fire giant 'reveal'. It was kinda odd in that I felt like I was supposed to wonder if they beat the fire giant or not, which would reveal whether they would win the fight or not, but it was completely obvious with the red eyes and the fact that they were bodying them from the get go, otherwise there wasn't really a narrative there.

Even after that though, I enjoyed the animation. SWK was animated really well & I'd love to see some of that character transferred into smite, instead of the gruff, no-nonsense voicepack and very human character we have currently. Bellona was perfect, the rest were good enough.

I don't get the issue with the loki face, I would've liked to hear him laugh or look a little more 'traditional handsome', but he was perfectly fine anyway.

You have to factor in protections and their abilities as well imo.

Athena and Ymir lack things like shields or protections(Athena can absorb a few basic attacks but thats useless against spells or abilities), they compensate by having high damage and high base stats.

I think the overall tankiest one is Bacchus. He gains 14% damage reduction + 35 protections while having a solid 2.2k health pool. Not to mention Bacchus shits out damage.
