Life is Strange is an episodic interactive drama from DONTNOD Entertainment. Set in the Pacific Northwest in the town of Arcadia Bay, the player follows the story of Maxine Caulfield and her seemingly newfound ability to turn back time. At the prestigious Blackwell Academy, Max must prepare with Chloe Price for the incoming storm of returning to her hometown after five years. Available on Steam, PSN and Xbox Live.

Posting dadpunk rock for Chloe!
and I could totally see Chloe and Rachel and then eventually Max rocking out to this classic
and some Bowie because it just works for her
Some modern punk for Chloe too!
Some music for Max!
It's a video done by a Renderanon (They go by Strangimation on Tumblr if you want to see more of their stuff)
But it's an epilogue that adds a little bit more closure to the ending where Chloe lives.
There's also this fanmade ending which uses that render posted above with some of the unused lines from the game and music from KoetheKoethe (He writes music inspired by LiS, look him up)
inb4 people whining that Max and Chloe kissing in that moment is bad
>I got into a convo with someone I didnt know though.
>He wants me to come out clubbing with him and his m8s on the weekend. W-what do
wtf, is this really what happens when you dare leave your room?
Man, I'm all frustrated and antisocial for you.
Next time put on headphones like anon told you to. Big ones, so no one will miss them.
I WANT ALL OF YOU TO GET UP OUT OF YOUR CHAIRS. I WANT YOU TO GET UP RIGHT NOW AND GO TO THE WINDOW. OPEN IT, AND STICK YOUR HEAD OUT, AND YELL, 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I WANT YOU TO GET UP RIGHT NOW, SIT UP, GO TO YOUR WINDOWS, OPEN THEM AND STICK YOUR HEAD OUT AND YELL - 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' THINGS HAVE GOT TO CHANGE. BUT FIRST, YOU'VE GOTTA GET MAD!... YOU'VE GOT TO SAY, 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!'
to wound the autumnal city.
So howled out for the world to give him a name.
The in-dark answered with wind.
But I still hear them walking in the trees: not speaking.
Waiting here, away from the terrifying weaponry, out of
the halls of vapor and light, beyond holland into the
hills, I have come to
>cant save everyone
is Max Superman?
I'm actually whore enough to be capable of putting a BAY sticker on my car. Hmm.......
Sure beats "Nürburing" stickers that I see so often around here.
Dre Beats headphones perchance?
"When I see Dre Beats heaphones, I flip the safety off my Browning" to paraphrase old funfart Hermann Göring.
>"quality" doesn't even necessarily sell in storytelling. A look at the entertainment industry overall should make that obvious.
Shitty entertainment is rarely shitty by accident. Lowest common denominator shit is very specifically formulated for financial success.
There's a big difference between successful shit and amateur shit.
LiS's shittiness can be put down to cost-cutting and pure amateurism, they're not compromises to draw in a larger crowd but simply to be able to make a profit off the niche crowd it can attain. They're not shitting it up to make money, they're shitting it up to prevent losing money.
That was a fun conversation last night about character music and how Max and Chloe were as kids. I ended up listening to some punk stuff and it was good.
We should try to do short lists of what we think each character would listen to.
Random remarks are traced by little boys

Him I cut off, who turn his world to straw,
Making him know Me.” So speaks the nomothete

JAPAN MUST NOT DEFILE THIS TOO!
>find a doujin "Life is Hard"
>Max wakes up from tornado dream as a dick girl rather than with time powers
>Needs to rush to the toilets because she saw Victoria shaking her ass while leaned over Jefferson's desk
>Tries to calm down by rubbing one out behind the stalls when Chloe and Nathan burst in.
>Chloe's really hot. Max imagine's it's her that's pinning Chloe to the wall with her 'weapon', not Nathan.
>Dick gets even larger, breaks glass, triggers fire alarm, saving Chloe
If Japan ruins Pricefield, or any of the other girls, with their old ugly man on girl bullshit I will go back in time and ensure more than two nukes are dropped on them.
I don't think it will be a problem because I only really see younger adults and teens even liking this.
>Later have to go up to roof to save Kate.
>Normally would be easy, could just wave enormous feminine dick around in front of any girl. They'd be reduced to a drooling incoherent mess and forget their suicidal problems (as all girls do when they see a glorious feminine penis).
>But the stresses of the situation have temporarily rendered Max impotent
>Have to talk her down the conventional way
Wouldn't be the first time something bombed in Japan.
> Then suddenly tentacles come out the principal's office.
> "You wanted to say something, young lady?"
> "No, I..."
> "We will see about THAT...."
> Max begging and sobbing in fear and pain while
Jefferson is watching
I do think it will work out.
Cultural cross-pollination is big.
Twin Peaks was very hermetic and quite a success I hear, and this game matches that series to a not unconsiderable degree.
Twin Peaks was huge in Japan back in the 90s. They even had a bunch of coffee commercials.
I don't think LiS will become a giant hit and we'll see an anime series or anything, but I think it'll carve out a niche but loyal fanbase over there.
They'll just make Victoria tsun-tsun as fuck, and Kate alll aguu~~ moeblob.
Real problem is Chloe doesn't really fit into those archetypes. I guess they've got ultra rude girl stereotype as well, but the Japs don't really like that in waifu. They'll wonder why the main character isn't hitting on tsundere and pure-moeblob.
>Chloe Price made history by becoming the first Astronaut to evaluate the effects of alcohol and marijuana on the human body while in space...because this experiment was not sanctioned or planned by NASA, she was terminated. She now works at a tattoo shop in Seattle.
>Twin Peaks and never actually finished it
Holy shit anon what are you doing here? Go finish it now. I know the show goes downhill after
Laura's killer is revealedbut the final 3-4 episodes are great. Max's nightmare is basically a tribute to the finale.
Laura's killer dying is the best scene in the entire series though. I'm being deliberately vague in case that anon hovers these spoilers by accident. Best sequence is the Black Lodge, but the resolution of Laura's killer is the most emotionally affecting scene in the series for me at least.
I hate James and always will. Every scene with him in it is awful, more or less. I can't fathom how bad he is; every re-watch only solidifies it further for me. Leland's death made me cry though, I've never seen filmmaking quite like it. It's truly something else. Lynch has such a unique style, it's absolutely incredible especially for the time and given the show's often goofy tone.
Lets do it, Anon! I think Chloe would be a big fan of the YYYs. I also love sharing music!
>you will never see Max grow up to be a total weird hipster
>you will never see Brooke becoming the hot nerdy girl
>you will never see Victoria becoming the ultimate bitch
>you will never see Kate looking sad as fuck
Why do you torment us, DONTNOD
>You will never see Kate publish her children's books while Max provides the photos
V-Victoriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! Max and Kate look super qt! Brook's hair looks awesome.
>>you will never see Victoria becoming the ultimate bitch
To everyone else except Max and Kate.
>game called Life is Strange
>they tease actually saying the title several times
>they dont even play the song Life is Strange
i'd much rather play as one of the roof koreans
-Seattle, 2015 or later
-Comfy hipster stuff, punk, a little bit of metal
-Recovering from traumas, dealing with you own mental doubts/ insecurities, moving on in life with your girlfriend
-Ability to rewind time, freeze time, and jump into photographs
But Anon, Max and Chloe will never return in any official capacity.
tfw you saw a cute Chloe/Max duo at NYCC this year but were too shy to ask them for a picture or talk to them about the game. I regret everything
Time travelling roof Koreans. You use your powers to know when and where the next riot attacks will be and you can choose whether or not you want to protect those businesses and individuals.
>Rural small China town, probably one of the lesser known cities, 2013
>18 year old boy, name is Wo Ren. Dreams of moving into bigger cities, probably Beijing, Hong Kong or Shanghai
>Chinese pop music, traditional Chinese music, and occasional western top 40s
>A boy leaves his hometown to study in a big city, always been his dream to live this small town. He finds out that he is not welcomed there, due to the huge contrast in culture practises. He understands the dark side of city life, but a good friend, a female called Mei Xi, guides him along and shows him the beauty in city people.
>Has the power to predict the future, although it changes depending on his course of action
Setting: New Orleans, February 2015 (A year and a few months after Arcadia Bay is hit by the tornado) right around the time of Mardi Gras
Main character: A girl that loses her best friend shortly before the game starts. There are little details about her death. the MC is really into music and is going to school for it similar to how Max went to Blackwell for photography..
Soundtrack: Stuff from any genre and any time period
Power: The MC can see and communicate with ghosts. She's always had this ability but never mentioned it to anyone because she didn't want them to think she was crazy. But the ghosts appear if she plays their favorite music (Example, you play something jazz and the ghost that appears will be from the 1920s. Play punk and you get a ghost from the 70s.). Once the ghost is there you can talk to them about their own time, but they also sit around and act as observers that nobody else can see.
Theme: While mourning her friend, the MC plays some of her friend's favorite songs and surprise surprise. Their friend's spirit appears and is amazed she can be seen. She tries talking to her friend, but they can't remember much about their last days alive. As you talk with other people/ ghosts that were in the area you piece together the final days of your friend's life. You can also help other spirits find closure and get to the other side by doing tasks/ quests for them.
Throughout the game you would have little nods to the first season. Maybe you see Max taking a picture of something, or see her and Chloe in the background, and see newspapers about Arcadia Bay. That stuff could be determined based on your S1 save.
Where can I find a love like Max and Chloe's?
my old best friend/perma-crush is getting married this year, I've still not replied to the invite
Start by getting over your old crush. Realize that there's other people out there who are just as, if not more amazing than them.
Then you might start to see the colors of other people a bit clearer. Eventually you find one that clicks with you and bam, you're in love.
Easier to say than do, yes, but you have to believe. The first step is quite literally the first step, that first step outside your room, out the door and down to do stuff. Doing stuff will lead you to meeting people, meeting people you might meet someone you get sweet on. See what I mean?
I wish I had a best friend or just a friend in general that I see more than 6-7 times a year. I've been told I have a general fuck off look on my face at all times. I'm not quite sure when that happened. I've tried to smile in the mirror but it just looks so goddamn weird
Oh no, I have hilariously large purple bags under my eyes too. Slightly worse than the person in the image.
[muffled whale noises in the distance]
Looks like something from the FNX series or the Sig Sauer SP 2022. The 2022 is used by French police and military so it's probably based off that since it's what Dontnod is familiar with. Same way like Chloe's camo jacket in the one picture is a French camo pattern.
Aight. Might be posting more when i am bored enough to make one.
so, I finally got over this game and haven't visited in a couple weeks but the other day
someone from /lisg/ decided to track down my FA and message me for some reason?
so I thought I'd pop in, anything new guys?
or do we all still hate the endings?
She's got that thousand yard stare. I'm guessing she just shot someone, but really did not want to.
She also though earbuds were proper hearing protection- they're not. Enjoy the tinnitus MaxiEEEEEEEEEE
I'm sorry, anon. I will try my best next time.
These models have weird flexes. like i wanted to give her a "scared" look, but i guess i failed. Also i forgot to remove the earbudds.
>"Okay max, we didn't win. Now use that selfie I told you to take when we bought the tickets, go back, and pick the winning numbers. I'm telling you, we'll have hella cash and be loaded for life!"
You are part of the problem.
Now, Anon. Be realistic. I can believe a tornado appearing from magic, but the Norks actually being able to get a nuke anywhere near the US is absurd. Those idiots would launch a missile and it would either detonate on the launchpad or fly off course and hit Russia or China.
Just ditzy, and usually high.
Posted this last thread but the main things that need to be there are:
Characters and relationships are too hard to speculate about.
In my opinion relatable setting means past or future is out. It has to be a present day setting.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Season 2 in a small Maine town. Going all Stephen King-y.
You mean to tell me the bay ending is canon?
Monterey Bay, California.
Max the Sea Otter.
Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future OST.
Must save her otter friends and love interest, Chloe Otter from sharks, killer whales, and tornado's.
Otter-time travel powers.
A school on the west coast
A teenage girl
Mix of comfy alt shit with high tempo rock/big band fusion
Supernatural murder mystery
Tulpa manifestation and combat
She was a Chameleon. She adapted to fit wherever she was and who she was with.
First time reading it so apologies if it was already discussed but this part got me curious.
>write a new game with one single restriction: they have to use the rewind from Remember Me's memory remix.
If that was pretty much the only requirement with writing LiS wouldn't that mean they'll try to keep it for season 2. And if they do are we headed for exactly the same type of ending "choice" as season 1. They wouldn't do that right ? They're better than that.
They referenced a Star Trek episode with nearly the exact same choice we got in the game, and had Max say it was stupid/ bad. They gave us a vision of something happening, that we supposedly caused, before we even did anything to cause it.
Do you really think they won't do something equally moronic in S2?
Seriously though, how could we play S2 if it's about the same time rewind powers?
It would obviously end the same way, and if it didn't it would only piss people off about S1 ending.
It's pretty fucking pathetic that The Walking Dead Season 2 does probably the best job at making choices matter and even then it's only a selection of three endings based on the final choice (five if you count the choices in two of the endings).
While it's a terribly flawed game I honestly think episodic games should take some inspiration from Heavy Rain. At the very least it did have a finale that ended good, bad or somewhere in between depending on your previous actions. Until Dawn also deserves credit for trying a little harder than most. Still both had quite a bit of railroading.
Somewhere in Rode Island.

Acoustics, Alternative Rock, and Dance.
You can run away from the problem all you want. Doesn't mean it still won't be where you left it and appear in your mind like it's stalking you.
As much as I dislike Heavy Rain's batshit and dishonest story telling, I really love that they actually have completely alternate scenes dependant on your playthrough.
I don't remember the triggers, but shit like Ethan and Jayden in the police station which only happens if he's arrested, Jayden in his hotel room which is only triggered by some seemingly unrelated event, etc. There's a good amount of content that you can't access in a single playthrough, with a lot more effort and story telling value in each compared to the completely pointless Kate hospital scene.
Man, if that game just nixed Ethan's blackouts completely (or brought back that whole aborted plotline so they make sense), got rid of Madison because she's a useless idiot, replaced her with Lauren because she's the bomb, and made Shelby an NPC because that's dishonest as fuck, it'd be a pretty amazing game.
That and nix or make optional a lot of the pointless faffing around that you have to do as each character, like fucking making scrambled eggs.
And made Jason the 3 year old he behaves like.
...Okay, so there are a lot of really big problems. But still.

>Time is october 6th 2014
>Max and Chloe are back for the first time in Arcadia Bay on anniversary of it's destruction.
>There's a letter for Max in their hotel room.
>Inside it there's a single sheet of paper and a picture.
>The picture is showing Chloe's dead body and a newspaper with Friday's october 10th 2014 date on it.
>The piece of paper only says "You're not the only one who can mess with time now"
I don't know you tell me.
I'd love to see more Max and Chloe in Season 2, but thinking about it, it either wouldn't make much sense or it would be boring as fuck.
If they kept Max and Chloe, the whole theme and feeling of the game would change.
>>128512208 here. I wouldn't be averse to her as a supporting character. The idea I has was this to be a few years after LIS, so having a Ms Caulfield wouldn't be a big stretch.
>catches wind of kids using tulpas to fight
she's been secretly studying buddhism and meditation for years trying to make one of Chloe
>You will never join Kate's Bible Study
>You will never hate long discussions on whether Leviticus is still relevant
>ywn sit next to her in church
>ywn awkwardly ask her out for tea
>ywn sit next to her in church
>ywn be introduced to her father and embarass yourself in front of him
>ywn be there to support her sisters in a moment of crisis
>ywn fumble the Lord's Prayer and almost expose yourself as a phony Christian
>ywn hold her hand on a cold winter day
>ywn wait until marriage for her
>ywn consumate your marriage after waiting for years in a night of unsatisfactory lovemaking, where you make her feel uncomfortable and have to stop before you you have to finish in the bathroom and she sobs.
>ywn realize you made a mistake
>you will never get into a fight with her
>ywn attend marriage counseling with her
>You will never experience her being cold and frigid to you
>ywn stay together in your sham marriage just for the children, and live the rest of your life celibately.
Fucking french people and their depressing shit. There's no such thing as a happy ending in France apparently. I just want max and Chloe to be happy good damn it. Also dat dropped story line and hand waving. But I loved this game FUCK I'm in love with max. Warren is a creep.
Max and Chloe head to Seattle to stay at maxs house. Their relationship is explored and how maxs family reacts. A larger story emerges regarding maxs abilities, the prescotts, and Arcadia bay. Chloe has to deal with her demons.
>After the epilogue scene Max realizes that her journal fell out of her bag at some point
>She gets sad but she just starts a new one and thinks no big deal of it
>Somebody, a male maybe a little older than Max, (New character, feel free to create some name) finds it
>This man has lost everything. His family, a good amount of his friends, his home, his love
>Out of curiosity he keeps the journal and keeps looking through the town, looking for anyone he knows
>He's going through the wreckage and finds a part of a photo. It's of a butterfly on a bucket. He thinks nothing of it
>He find the othr half in another part of the town, how bizarre that he found two pieces of the same picture. What luck.
>Later on he starts reading the journal he found and at first thinks it's amusing, then he's enraged
>Somebody caused this and took everything from him
>5 years later
>Max and Chloe are living up in Seattle and are pretty happy together. Max has had to deal with PTSD and nightmares, but she has made great strides towards overcoming them
>Chloe is running out to the store to get some things, she kisses Max goodbye and walks outside. Little does she know that somebody is following her
>It's been about two hours and Max is wondering where Chloe is, she gets a call from her
>Max answers, relieved and anticipating to hear Chloe's voice
>She instead hears a man on the other end
>He says he knows what really caused the tornado and he wants Max to go back and undo it so he can have his life back
>Max asks where Chloe is
>Chloe weakly speaks over the phone, clearly distressed and injured, she's still defiant and curses out her abductor
>The man threatens to torture Chloe and kill her in a horrific way unless Max shows up in five days and uses the photo to prevent the storm
>Max panics and finds some of her friends from Seattle to try to help her
>The clock is ticking
We know Dontnod wanted LiS to be a simple coming of age story without going too much into the supernatural though.
I think they'll go with the same thing in Season 2 which just rules out Max+Chloe.
Yea but they did leave stuff that hinted at something more than random powers. Nathan's dad being one and Magic ghost deer animal spirits. Unless it's all just metaphor which lets you hand wave anything.
San Francisco, 5 years later
Solving relationship problems with Max, saving Max, solving supernatural misteries
Seeing the future, manipulating items in the future, accelerating the age of things.
- the big bad has time powers too, especially nullifying yours
- there are two unrelated big bads working behind the scenes which seems one mistery
- new game+ uses your choices and tells you exactly what will happen instead of blurry visions
- you can only save both girls in new game plus or if you rarely asked Max to rewind something when you were together
- your first clear vision is Max going Jefferson on you then kill you
>2 days later
>Chloe receives phone call
>Recovery team found Joyce
>Only survivor from diner
>Moved her to a nearby town with hospital
>On life support
>Has been paralysed from the waste down
>Very little chance she will wake up
>Doctor gives Chloe the choice to pull the plug or keep her on life support
>If you ended up killing Chloe in the alternate timeline in ep 4, Chloe will follow your lead
>If you spared her, Chloe will keep Joyce on Life support
>Max finally gets in touch with her parents
>phone call is full of emotion
>Can hear them say "I love you, we miss you" over and over again to Max
>Chloe begins to regret making Max choose
>Has outburst of rage
>"You should have just let me die Max"
>"Joyce doesn't deserve this"
>Argument gets sour
>Chloe runs away
>Season 2 follows her struggle of trying to survive in a world where fate didn't even want her alive
>10 years later
>Max has become a famous photographer
>Work is hosted in galleries everywhere
>Has started teaching photography at a number of different schools
>opens her wardrobe in her apartment to get a shoebox
>box contains photo of Chloe and Max when they were kids
>Rewinds into photo
>28 year old self in her 13 year old body
>Hangs out and talks with Chloe for as long as she can
>jumping on the couch pretending they're pirates
>acting like she is 13
>not changing anything
>borders of photo closes and she is ripped back to the present
>On the floor crying
>Mostly feeling regret for sacrificing Chloe
>Just wants her rebellious, blue haired friend back
>Season 2 follows Max dealing with the consequences of her choices, struggling with depression and PTSD, and trying to find some kind of "outlet" to deal with them
Why? It was just one photo.
She could have been famous in that moment, but chose to save Chloe instead. She didn't want to live her dream without Chloe there with her.
there will be other photo contests and other pictures to submit, the hard part will be overcoming the initial depression/ fear of taking pictures again.
Have Max be a supporting character and the MC having similar powers too, then they both do some sort of stuff and find out what laws their powers are governed under.
Honestly having her as a side character is the best way to continue the world the story is in, and be able to try another whole new story.
Then maybe we can have a fucking universe in the game.
The game always suggests, there are important key points in the past. If you change them the outcome will be entirely different. William could have died a dozen times but he survived just because you saved him once. In one reality you change one thing and You will be one of the most popular girls in school, part of the Vortex, best friend of Victoria. It is simplifying things but even IRL when people regret something they like to trace it back to a few important event in their life.
Not to mention many famous people became only famous because they were in the right time at the right place. Especially artists. Actors who just accompanied their aspiring friends to an audition. Musicans who published their album at the right time, but similar albums a few years before never got recognized. Even video games are the same. Life is Strange came out in the right time. If it comes out before The Walking Dead S1 it maybe wouldn't have recognized ever.
Since Max is literally a nobody right now without any connections, it would be extremely hard to get in touch with the right crowd.
Or I just like the idea of her throwing away her career without a second guess for Chloe. This is why I was kinda disappointed at the end where you didn't need to sacrifice yourself for her.
>MC chased through the school by one of the villains
>own powers are tapped out, it's all she can muster to fend off the villain's spirit with her own
>turns a corner
>Max leaving the art department down the hall
>MC's heart sinks, she's one of her favourite teachers and the villain's going to want to kill her off
>"Miss Caulfield, look out!"
>she turns, looks surprised
>villain's spirit lunges at Max
>is stopped by a blue hand
>"Oh, so you're the one that's been causing trouble around here."
>the rest of Max's spirit appears
>it's Chloe, not aged a day since being shot
>villain's tulpa sent sprawling, vanishes
>Max turns to MC
>"Now, you've got some explaining to do."
Yeah then the same shit happens to the characters in season 2.
>their story is over guys
There's no emotional attachment to temporary characters whose lifespan are just a couple days long
It's an insult really. The only other game I can think of that does this is GTA. But that game has fantastic closure, not "imagination" bullshit.
Honestly I could do with Max not being in the next game, but the way they ending just begged for more closure.
>Honestly I could do with Max not being in the next game, but the way they ending just begged for more closure.
>Chloe dies. Max moves on
>Chloe lives. Arcadia Bay gets destroyed. everyone in it dies. They ride off into the non-existent sunset for a new life
What kind of closer do you need? Not enough for an entire game I know that. Maybe you'll get a comic based on the endings or something.
I just find the ending scene too metaphorical, too brief. If they could just give us some sort of small playable level with things to interact that shows us the aftermath, followed by some path we can walk out to end the game.
Let's just face it guys. There's no more story to tell with Max. Any kind of story we invent is just not interesting enough to warrent a budget for a game. They shot themselves in the feet with the two incontinuable endings. There's no room for a sequel, no major unexplained plots.
A new cast would be the easiest way out. I for one welcome our black homosexual ghetto kid.
There wouldn't be anything of the real Chloe in it, it's all Max's thoughts and feelings for her. It took her years of study and research to make a tulpa of Chloe from her own subconscious, and the fact that a bunch of kids at her school had somehow stumbled upon a way to make their own so quickly kinda pisses her off.
She'd be a mentor to the MC, teaching them how tulpas work, what they can do, etc. and will probably end up getting killed by the villain, being reunited with the real spirit of Chloe as she dies
What was the Hospital ending? Same deal but with a tearful goodbye, or is it a "she would've survived the gunshot anyway don't you feel stupid for going through all that bullshit" deal?
A new cast is hardly any more safe from Dontnod fucking them over than the original cast was. As long as they're convinced that Let's Player tears are a sign of good writing, Season 2 has no hope of ending any better.
I'd personally prefer a Shattered Memories style reimagining of the first game that took the story in a different direction and ended on a stronger note. I know it will never happen of course, I just like to imagine.
So, when is she getting her degree in Math?
tfw shes 3 years younger than me
i hate being reminded of my age
The girl being 3 years younger is like the perfect, socially certified age gap.
Also age is just a number. At 25, I feel younger than at any point in my 20s.
Atleast, that's what I tell myself so I don't cry myself to sleep for having wasted the best years of my life as a hikki NEET,
Good night lisg.
Is there anything planned for the 1 year anniversary by the way?
>I don't cry myself to sleep
Strangely I didn't really regret wasting my life because I never knew better. Maybe that is why I rarely went back on my decision in the game. Even if it turned out kinda bad it was what I wanted.
>You'll never giggle at her cute autism dance and watch her blush.
How far in are you? I couldn't stand her early on, but Chloe does a major face turn around episode 3. She becomes one of the best written and most sympathetic characters in the game, or any game for that matter.
You're right on the cusp of her becoming an amazing character.
If you don't like her in episode 4 onwards I dunno what to say.
>Hogged up the handicap parking spaces
>Was a dick to David for no apparent reason
>Was clingy right from the start
>Bitched at me when I was talking to Kate on the phone (fuck you Chloe that girl has been through hell).
when you learn how her life went to shit after William diedI understood why she was like that and just wanted to give her a big hug. ;_;
>handicap shit is a non issue
>letting people get up in your bidness
>clingy is another non issue
>max didnt just walk with chloe out the fucking door while talking to kate
I also liked her from the start since
thats how I kinda used to dress in high school outside of the hella epic dyed hair. Kinda still like that whole punk fashion and music thing
We'll have to agree to disagree, but I feel like Dontnod's biggest accomplishment was making such a well written character that grows throughout the game.
Then they shit on her at the end so fuck them
thats how I kinda used to dress in high school
fucking white people brah
I would've been your friend if you liked the same stuff I did.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've since fixed the ripped jeans with patches and my army jacket is covered in writing and patches and shit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They spent all night cuddling, r-right?
I don't know it's only one more chapter left and she doesn't seem to have grow shit but ok
>my army jacket is covered in writing and patches and shit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like you a little more, pictures please.
Why is this bitch blaming everyone else but herself lmao, I can't feel sad for this peace of shit.
I want Kate to give me a disciplinary hug!
maybe someday, although I did add this silly patch within the last year.
Love me some Tank Girl
please tell me this is a ending.
I am completely with this, lmao.
She's a decent person in both timelines, but circumstances in the main one turned her into who she is.
How's replying to urself faggit?
>Cue_E5_7A_CliffFuture_ChoiceSaveChloe_Chloe_030="Max… I'll always be with you."
>Cue_E5_7A_CliffFuture_ChoiceSaveTownKissChloe_Max_050="Chloe... I love you." >Cue_E5_7A_CliffFuture_ChoiceSaveTownKissChloe_Chloe_060="You better. And, I’ll always love you. Now, get out of here, please! Do it before I freak. And, Max Caulfield? Don’t you ever forget about me..."
>tfw nobody will never say to you ''I'll always love you''
>tfw you will never find cute also hot gf like Max and Chloe
>tfw you'll never find someone who wouldn't mind your silly dance
>tfw nobody will make a joke for you to make you feel better even that person knows that she's in a bad situation. ''Crank it up to 11''
>tfw you'll never have a gf like Max who'd sacrifice town for you
>tfw nobody will willingly sacrifice herself for you and for other people (like Chloe)
>tfw nobody will sacrifice town for you and let go all town (like Max)
>tfw nobody will love you as much as Max loves Chloe
>tfw nobody will never give you that smile, like Max gave to Chloe
>tfw we won't see such a nice, qt couple who have a great chemistry in Season 2
now tell me anon WHY FUCKING LIVE??!!!!
You will find them one day, suicideanon!
have a reaction pic
also probably any character on this shitty anime was better than your cloeh
what the fuck did you just fucking say about max's chick?
>We kindly remind Michel that in Bay ending original Max's existence will
continue to trigger the
magictornado and it'll probably come back in a few weeks
>Season 2 of LiS won't have the original cast return
>We will never see Kate with her hair down rendered in Unreal Engine 4's glory
So I like this style of game despite the series bring pretty flaws. Enjoyed TWD season 1 (2 sucked) and Heavy Rain despite its flaws. People are saying this is one of the best right? I'm going to buy it regardless it's Sqaure Enix but just wondering what you guys think.
Actually can't argue with this logic, later anon.
Don't get me wrong, Episode 4 was awesome, full of mysteries and has emotional scenes.
But also all shitty things started in that episode.they fucked 'photo focusing ability' up, Rachel's still died, storm should've hit the town before five years in AU...
>People are saying this is one of the best right?
Until Episode 5 you'll really love this game. But after Episode 5 you're gonna be disappointed
if you don't like cliché endings
PUT THIS IN VICTORIA'S PARENTS GALLERY RIGHT NOW
IT IS A WORK OF ART
1990s US Westcoast, some Ghetto Highschool in California
You're the coach of that school's basketball team. You take care of your sick mother so thats your only job right now.
West Coast Rap mainly, but also some Post-Rock in fitting situations
You coach the team, bringing them to the top by using your rewind powers to always call the most optional plays and make the best predictions.
But outside of the court you need to help your students with the problems that come from living in a low-income area and ghetto.
If you don't get them on a straight path some of your players might die in ghetto shootings or drop out of school.
Avert thine eyes if you have no desire to witness sin.
Covering your ears would probably be good too... actually, just leave the room for two hours.
Kate will pray for their souls.
She knows they're going to heaven regardless.
They'll get to heaven, one way or another.
>why would I hate him?
u filthy cuck...
You have been spamming that reaction selfie for a long ass time, can you tell me the reasoning?
He might be a cuck, but god fuck this bitch when from liking dick to sucking pussy
>why would I hate him?
>Said to his crush ''Sensitive means: ''won't be having sex with you''
>Enjoys watching Cannibal movies
>Already asked Brooke to go drive-in with him. If you say yes(max's still cucking him btw), fucking cuck turns that poor gurl down.
>Watched Kate's video twice (even she's his bff)
>Beaten up by Nathan before 3 days ago
>Suddenly he became street fighter(!) in 3 days (well lucky bitch, obviously Nathan was drunk or took pills)
> Thinks sodium and potassium have different chemical reactions when they're both in the same chemical group
>Became a science major, devs gave him extra scene to explain(!) Max's powers, ''HOLY SHIETT MAX IT'S CHAOS THEORY'' (which isn't even related with story)
>Whinning about ''i know you didn't come for me :( '' during the goddamn storm when Max came for the photo.
Well... i dunno.
>can you tell me the reasoning?
do you really want to know?
>Watched Kate's video twice (even she's his bff)
that one is fine, I think I would too
others are valid, but he still a cool guy
don't really know how this doesn't make him not one, thirsty as fuck tough, thanks for spoilers.
It's funny because I haven't done anything wrong, except express my experience on this game.
I am guessing the chick on it has the same name as her?
Also david is ma nigga, always knew I should take his side.
>psycho major's trying different methods
We truly appreciate your time and effort major.
How's your fiancée btw?
>Said to his crush ''Sensitive means: ''won't be having sex with you''
Why do you keep playing then? The story and plot are arguably more about her than Max.
Why didn't you listen?
You're really going to hate her when her rant about the universe being out to shit on her turns out right
>that one is fine, I think I would too
>others are valid, but he still a cool guy
>i-im playing this game right now :(
I can barely believe it but I prefer Psych Major to this guy. At least Major has an IQ above 90 and good grammar, even if he's a twat.
That's pretty rude man, I am here to talk about my experience.
If you explain what I am do so wrong, i'll dead ass leave, I mean word2 what are this generals for fucking pictures?
Truth, probably only reason why I wanted to go back.
>hates main character's chick
>doesn't get that this game's all about Max and Chloe
>main character says, whinning her name through the whole game ''chloechloechloe ihavetosavechloechloeherbluehair''
>still playing this game
Who fucking cares about your opinion faggit? Max loves her. She loves Max. So stop whinning.
>If you explain what I am do so wrong, i'll dead ass leave, I mean word2 what are this generals for fucking pictures?
Giving us this step-by-step of your dumbass playthrough like this is your personal blog. Just finish the fucking game before shitting your opinions all over the thread.
i thought you finished the game already? >>128537845
>hates main character's chick
I barely even like the main character lmao
>She loves Max. So stop whinning.
I tough she wanted to fuck Rachel but got denied by drug dealer and handsome psychotic son of a bitch
I am literally telling you what I think is gonna happen, what step by step shit?
Think I am almost done, right in the middle of the storm.
Chloe did loved Rachel. But you have to understand that Rachel was all Chloe had for a while (And Rachel kept hiding things from her) so Chloe didn't see/ looked past any flaws Rachel had.
But when you're talking to the paralyzed Chloe, you see that she's had feelings for Max and has had them for a long time. Those feelings exist in the punk Chloe as well.
And you will see as you delve into Max's mind and journal what she thinks of Chloe.
They love each other.
>no cutscene of Max rubbing Chloe off while smoking weed and driving over the dead bodies of Arcadia Bay.
>tfw Polarized didn't just end with Max using Blade Mode to cut the tornado apart
>tfw no STANDING HERE I REAALIIIIIIZEEE on acoustic guitar
>tfw no STORMS, SON
>But when you're talking to the paralyzed Chloe, you see that she's had feelings for Max and has had them for a long time.
I don't remember that to be completely honest, barely even expend time in that timeline.
inb4 best friends = i want to fuck you
I hate when fucking writers pull this shit.
Just to clarify, I am not saying you are wrong.
>I tough she wanted to fuck Rachel but got denied by drug dealer and handsome psychotic son of a bitch
Jeffershit scene was just teasing with Max. Also, she was just using Frank 'for get money to go L.A'' She loved Rachel after Max left her; but she loved Max all the time.
why am i responding seriously?
>I barely even like the main character lmao
>Think I am almost done, right in the middle of the storm.
Nope. It's just beginning.
