Something like that could work, but what would you base the MMR on? Official rankings (ie. Personal rating) are heavily flawed and even unofficial ones (ie. WN8) can be farmed easily). Winrate would work in theory, but that would cause everyone's winrate to approach 50%, even super-unicums and intentional griefers.

what about a matchmaking system where each team gets the exact same composition (each team gets a T-10 or 2 M41s etc.) We can even take it further and make it so that platoons are evenly matched so that there's a 1:1 ratio for platoons on each team even if they aren't in the same tanks.

That way nobody could whine about how MM gave the other team better tanks or more of a particular type, and each game would come down to individual skill

I have the upgraded turret with the 100mm, and it feels like I can't hit anything, much less in a place that pens, and meanwhile I get raped by tier 9 and 10 tanks all the time.
I try to snipe, and it doesn't seem to work well.
I try to flank, and it doesn't seem to work well.

I understand the T-54 is considered one of the kings of tier 9, but after having fun with the T-34-85 and even the T-43 (despite being a tier 7 medium), the pain of grinding the T-44 is really hard to bear.

Well, that's tier 8 lights in general as far as using your camo goes, but I would agree that the t54light is more of a medium than any other.

the ru251 is my favorite tier 8 light atm. It's just so mobile and the gun is nice aswell

T5 tanks outclass you hard, often having armour that can bounce half your shit while having no trouble hitting you.
And then you get to fight T6 because lol why not.
