I can't for the love of me manage to make custom themes work.
I've tried with CHMM2, they install but nothing change, I've tried packing them with howling, they install but won't show up.
I'm on rxtools emunand 10.3J,
I haven't got the menuhax installed since it should've been wiped when I've upgraded from 9.2 to 10.3... right ?
Also I'm making sure howling is packing the cias using the jpn settings.

Reposting in case others could help out.

I installed a game cia onto my 3ds, but everytime I use another game or menu then go back to the menu, it disappears. When I reboot back into it, it comes back but as a present.

Anything I can do to stop this? I've unlinked both NANDS, formatted sysNAND and put my NNID onto emu NAND. The cia was also a USA version on my EUR 3ds if that makes a difference.

It will do that, and as such, it will cause complications if you attempt to set up menuhax to autoboot. This is the primary reason why people would want to look into unlinking, not to mention the plethora of other issues this fixes or prevents.

Yes, but the process for setting up CFW will differ from the pastebins here, which are all meant for 9.0-9.2. You can't use the homebrew launcher where you are now but there's other browser exploits available. 3DS How to I transfer everything from one SD Card to other
I have 8 GB one and 64 GB one and I am unable of doing it
I tried Multi NAND Creator of formatting SD Card with my emunand and than copying stuff from old SDCard to the new one but that didn't worked

I also tried USB Image Tool which worked but I am unable of resizing the partition with EaseUS Partition Master I get an error

Creating Emunand through Gateway Launcher and setting up Rxtools than injecting old emunand and copying all of the old SDCard also didn't worked

Are there any other options please?

Yeah that's perfectly fine, I used a similar procedure on a 2DS. Just don't download N3DS files. There's really nothing special to the 2DS other than that formatting a system below 6.x will require you to turn the 3D slider up to get it to work (good luck with that). For some reason I get errors while installing DSiWare games in sysnand, how I'm supposed to play them?

My nands are unlinked and I use FBI in sysnand through the HBL launched from ctrboot.

You can back up the save files, but you can't access them after doing a system format unless you have a prior NAND backup or at least extracted some key files. The movable.sed on the console gets deleted and that's that for all of the shit on your SD card, the key just literally isn't there anymore.

If you didn't have to do a system format during the downgrade then things should be fine.

Some people end up with softbricks when they try to downgrade and have to upgrade back to 10.3 and then format the system to get things to work. If you do that, your saves are toast unless you backed them up with svdt/some other homebrew save manager beforehand. If you never had to do that, your savegames will be just fine.

If you unlink NANDs by formatting the system then your saves will still work on EmuNAND (if you don't use TinyFormat then it'll delete them from the SD card though, but you can just put them back on).

Take your SD card out if you had Menuhax installed beforehand, Menuhax for 9.4 fucks things up on 9.2. If you get an "an error occurred" screen then you softbricked it and need to hold A+L+R+Up and upgrade to 10.3 then try again.

Download TinyFormat. Install TinyFormat with any .cia manager installed in your SysNAND, like injected FBI or homebrew FBI running after you run a CFW. Run TinyFormat.

Is there a tool that can create database files from nand folders? I want to access my games but I can't because "repairing" the db files meant writing brand new ones after completely deleting the games
Or is there an efficient way to get saves from a raw NAND backup (as in through the Nintendo 3DS folder) onto a CIA version of the same game? I used SaveDataFiler and found my saves and used 3DSDB to determine what game it was but I can't find the same game folder in the "title" folder on the backup
