Adventure in Soul Cairn
Reminder that sauce on these taunt/sprint mods for Oblivion has never been found.
>the Op of that single thread admitted they made it because they don't like ESO
>they bump it right before it 404ed multiple times
next to no one is using it, I suppose we need separate threads for all TES games, right?
Go ahead, try to explain to me how it's any different
Just stop pissing yourself over it, it doesn't matter
What a stunning beauty.
1,376,857 people using Bella can't be wrong!
Okay I know what my problem is, I keep clearing out all the jewls and gems, the greed is making me forget to watch my step.
i wish nexus had a monthly download display for certain mods, cant imagine much people downloading bellas by now
Stop it. Like, just ignore it, this discussion has no end
Classic meme, my friend. How long have you been a /b/tard? I started all the way back in summer, myself.
The fact is there's already a thread for the game so there's no reason not to link people to it if they're interested.
Maybe that's because of 2 reasons
A. People don't know it's there because you keep freaking out when people link them there
B. Nobody wants to discuss the game so this whole argument is moot anyways
>cant imagine much people downloading bellas by now
I'm not sure about this but it would be interesting to see the statistics.
>The fact is there's already a thread for the game so there's no reason not to link people to it if they're interested.
If they want it they can find it themselves
>People don't know it's there because you keep freaking out when people link them there
No one freaks out about linking them there
People freak about about forcing them there
>Nobody wants to discuss the game so this whole argument is moot anyways
Then it needs to be removed from the op entirely

I'VE DIED TO THIS SAME TRAP AT LEAST SIX TIMES
I AM A RETARD
Because, if you followed the chain of comments instead of jumping into a single post, you would see the link to a pointless esog was only done because it was removed from the op, as it should be.
Don't jump into a monkey pit and wonder why there is a fence
Making an Oblivion guide as we speak. It should be done by July.
So far I'm adding all the puzzle/riddle/treasure-hunt maps and the immersion mods. Feel free to make your suggestions.
>as it should be
Why. The line was fine for like a year and a half. Then some guy starts shitposting like crazy about it around new years and suddenly we're supposed to change to cater to a couple of very vocal autists? Fuck off.
>Then some guy starts shitposting like crazy about it around new years and suddenly we're supposed to change to cater to a couple of very vocal autists?
Like you guys did in the first place for that year and a half?
Besides, I remember personally bitching about it staying in another general back in October when I went through my "lore or bust" phase
Ohayou Gozaimasu, dee eruderu sukororuzu generaru!
So im new to modding
I want to take these http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71114/? and replace the normal Mage armors with them.
I want to make it look as "normal" as possible, means that if i select the armor in my inventory, even the preview mesh should look like the new armor
how do i do that
do you mean mage robes? Or do you want these things to show up when you use a mage armor spell?
if you mean just the robes it's really easy
Oh, that's going to be a little harder. You can do a general replacement by just overwriting the mesh with a renamed version, which will replace it.
But what you'll want to do is go take whatever .esp file they use to add the robes and edit it so that the mesh/texture used by each type of enchanted robe is actually your special set of robes. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Is there a general guide somewhere on how to vanilla replacers?
Do i just open the CK, navigate to, lets say destruction robes, click on the mesh file and then select the one i extracted from the mods BSA?
And then do the same for the textures?
do I have to brute force it or is there an answer somewhere?
Brute force never fails
WILL TO COMMIT SUICIDE INCREASING
put the meshe in your data directory if you want the Ck to recognize them then just change wich nif the robe use in the ck and save it, it will create a new esp i think if you use any mod organizer just create a new mods with your meshe/texture and the esp
why are people whining about eso here? there's an eso thread there >>128340369
go discuss the game or shitpost about KFC or something there instead of disturbing all the waifufags here with actual gameplay
You can just make it so suggestions are accepted but only the author can edit it. Some cathegories may overlap so let's just try our best to make it not a big fuckup.
So far Cathegories are:
Immersion: small things and changes that make the game more comfy overall. Also any mod that changes/addss dialogs, NPCAI and music/sounds.
Graphics: ENBs, textures, illumination and basically anything that makes the game look prettier.
Animations: Animations, poses and skeletons.
Mechanics: Anything that adds or changes mechanics such as combat, sneak, etc.
-Professions: Subcathegory to make everything easier to find. (Combat, Magic, Sneaking or some more RP-related stuff like graverobber or trader)
Places: 2 cathegories: inside Cyrodiil and outside cyrodiil.
Quests: Any quest mods, lore-friendly or not. (non-lore mods will be marked)
Creatures: Not only
Performance and mod organizing:
Overhauls: mods that massively change the game. Oscuro, FCOM...
Any extra suggestion? This is basically brainstorming so it won't look pretty until I organise everything.
I guess you would prefer I post copy pasted women in a wide variety of four poses?
Talk to the modders, not me
>starting new game
>LaL start, making character
>turning off ENB effect so I can see my character
>FPS drops to 4, even with 970
>panic, open up ENB config to see what happened
>bruteforce was enabled
>disbaled it, but fug was I scared
Apart from low end cards exploding and piss poor performance, are there any long term adverse effects from enabling it? Should I be worried if I activated it once?
So i tried locating the vanilla files for the mage Robes and found only these
Almost everything is greyed out and i cant do anything.
Im pretty sure im doing something horribly wrong here...cant be this hard to simply replace meshes and textures.
>eso thread is dying
That's the normal way. It always dies quickly.
I installed this mod for Morrowind, called Guards or something like that, which makes guards have unique appearances.
To be honest, it's not that great. I mean, it's cool seeing Imperial guards have different faces and such, but now almost every single fucking guard in the game, be it Redoran, Telvanni, Ordinator, whatever, they don't wear their helmets at all.
I would be fine if it was just these one or two guards per town which didn't have helmets, to break away the generity (or if you get a cool looking, unsuspecting one like pic related), but it sucks that you don't get to see dem cool Morrowind helmets anymore.
That said, I recommend Improved Closefaced Helmets for Skyrim to anyone who hasn't used it yet. At first it feels weird, after a few hours, you just can't go to vanilla helmets anymore.
Guidefag here. I want to add some sort of rating system so mods can be voted as good or shit, but not sure if it can be done or if it will be worthwhile.
I'll post the doc soon. (no mods yet, that's where /tesg/ comes in)
I'll add a few mods of my own every day plus your suggestions until we actually have a good guide. I've downloaded around 1000 files and it will take a long time to test them all. Shit'll be slow.
Anybody tried this mod out: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16311/?
I'm looking for a mod to replace dying and loading with something that allows your game to continue after you die. This sounds good, but it might be too over powered, so I'd like to hear if anyone's tried playing with it.
I made the thread and I'm bumping it. Small conversations are sparking up but, time wise, they're too spaced apart.
Also, apparently PC version is dead but console versions are thriving.
I really like S.T.E.P.'s categories, they are pretty tidy and give a good idea where everything is. Just a small recommendation.
I also recommend that, if possible, users take the worst possible screenshots of content mods, so that others know how shitty they may get (at least for me, using a quest mod boils down to how shit it is).
Looking for that first paw print.
Its a bloody game of Blue's Clues.
Can't compete indeed.
>retexture a lion
>call it a cheetah
disgusting. don't ever reply to me again you consolebabby.
You know thats not the only thing those mods do right? What kind of answer is that even?
Repositioning of everything and less intrusive hud changes how the compass looks, making it look much better. It has an surprisingly big impact on gameplay
I've never tried that mod, checking it now.
How is the doc so far? Any suggestions for the doc design?
It does a whole lot more than simply making it smaller (Although simply making it smaller is the very least it can do plus everyone can benefit from even that).
This is from the page of the mod itself...
not him but here is a tiny example, im just using the default preset. Many people place their Stamina+HP bars like in Dark souls, upper left corner.
Its nothing groundbreaking, but a very nice change and the vanilla UI is just horrible.
You can move all elements everywhere, toggle crosshair, opacity of all UI elements, change the style of crosshair, change the look of HP bars and how they work, with this mod you can make it so that the HP bar decreases from left to right. You can also change the things that the compass shows and other stuff
It doesn't only make it smaller, did you not even look at the picture? You could just simply say you like the vanilla UI instead of being difficult...
dont respond. It literally doesnt matter what you say, hes shitposting.
Everyone knows that minimalist interfaces make for better work and playing as you can see more of the screen and focus more on what is happening.
Besides it just looks a thousand times better and one can even customize it to their liking and hide unneeded UI elements or display more. Agree with him so hes happy.
>It doesn't only make it smaller
Except that's the biggest change it makes, which is why it isn't automatically better than vanilla
>You could just simply say you like the vanilla UI
I thought that was obvious enough without me typing it out
This isn't about what I like, this is about how the first reply implied that modding the UI makes it better as a fact, simply put it's an opinion
You need to make it of public access before anyone can see it.
Anyhow, I recommend to keep it simple, but make categories noticeable enough so you know when one ends and another one starts. For quest mods and such, I always recommend at least one or two images.
Also you don't HAVE to make it smaller. You can keep it at vanilla size and move shit around still.
Also, replying with "Making the UI smaller doesn't make it better" doesn't equal "I like the vanilla UI."
>"Unleash the thief in you"
I am not a clever thief
While it is true that smaller isn't necessarely better, making the UI smaller allows you to increase the amount of information on screen.
SkyUI also does a great job rearranging the menues and so on for bettter accessibility.
But if you like the vanilla UI, it's fine.
hmmm, looks like you need to set the template robes to the robes you're wanting to use in its place, for each individual robe type.
Also, why replace novice? They look most similar to the Expert-level robes.
Anyhow, I've decided to stick with the vanilla landscape textures in Morrowind, with the exception of Ice and Lava, which will be 2K non-watercolored, and see how that works out.
What's your favorite city/town in Morrowind, /tesg/? Mine is Seyda Neen and Vivec.
Should I add: allows you to increase the amount of information, without compromising your ability to read it.
I've downloaded a lot of old school CRPGs, and sadly, 1080p means I can't read shit.
When people want to join on my adventure, I just can't say no. They always seem so disappointed if I say no or ask them to leave later. I want to make everyone happy.
Now it's becoming silly. We're a 7 person group now. I get stuck in hallways and doorways all the time.
I don't know what to do. What if more people want to join? h-help
I'll shill with the link one last time and go to work. When I come back I'll start adding stuff en masse. Suggest anything you want. It's going to be a Diablo 2-tier guide.
>section for ENB
>no section for Oblivion Reloaded
ENB is worthless without OR to pick up the slack
You can add Oblivion Reloaded as an alternative of ENB on Graphics mods. If it gets too big it will have its own section.
Thanks. I'll post the list of crashprevention/optimizers tonight. Long time I don't play so it may be outdated.
So i used a mod as a way to edit them, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69289/?
So far, i managed to make all Apprentice, Novice Expert Master robes to look like the one i wanted. Problem is they are all the same color.
From the look of it i need to somehow edit the enchant or enchanted version, which is the one thats locked. Gotta try finding out now how to edit these.
If that doesnt work, im gonna do it differently. Then im gonna give each college robe different Textures, the Apprentice one will be the blue robes and so on.
>Black mage Robes = Black
>Illusion Robes = Teal
>Destruction Robes = Red
>Unenchanted Robes = Brown
>Restoration Robes= Green
>Illusion Robes = Blue
>Conjuration Robes = Black
>Alteration Robes = Brown
Sucks massive balls doing something like this with 0 CK experience and just by trying out common sense and clicking my way through this shit
I guess they couldn't figure out how to code it like the original cowl
Then again these guards did instantly want my head, lets try some murder
that's pretty much how I've done everything in CK, wish I could give you more help
you may need to create a different template for each one
Nope, still get a permanent bounty
Well that's one mod off my list, nice dungeons
Better NPCs is a pretty good mod, I'm impressed. Lots of them fit right in where they're placed, and if I hadn't played the game already I might not have even known they were added.
I laughed at yushari being an offensive jewish stereotype.
Jade is cute! I wonder if she's marry-able.
>not using degenerate sex mods for lore-friendly, non-sexual purposes
>waifus can post completely unrelated images because it uses skyrim as a render
>this is okay because they keep the general alive
>express disinterest in those posts
>"naw fuck you deleted"
Totally not biased
janitor who is your waifu
And no one to impregnate them, I'll fix that
get a better picture, it can barely see your characters head that's why it got ranked so low
Skjoldr turned out to be 24 years old and Stunning. Eh, she's ok at most but they got the age right.
Damn, even the wall got a higher rating... ;_;
>tfw you have more sexiness in one ear than some have in their whole body
waifan on steroids
So this kinda means Skyrim is finished
Fallout 4 is already making mods that took 3-4 years in skyrim to come out, and the GECK hasnt even been released
>not using the racemenu poser plugin
shaking my head family to be honest
It's just textures for the most part. Also worth mentioning that most of those textures come from Skyrim mods. We kind of made it easy, especially since Bethesda reused a ton of foliage UVs.
So I guess what I'm saying is it was able to happen quickly in FO4 because most of the work was already done via skyrim shit.
>we couldn't detect a face
Talk about palette swapping.
Summer, Spring and Fall are exactly the same, except the colors change.
Winter is the only one that is "different", and only because the leaves are gone.
Can someone post link to dlc's torrent? I vaguely remember downloading it few years ago and I think it was on piratebay. All I found so far are iso's of full game or zips/repacks so can't even choose to download dlc's only.
Is it retarded to use Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul with Oscuro's?
Is using FCOM truly that much of a nightmare?
I want mod oblivion all to shit and play it, but I don't want a disaster on my hands, should I just stick with Oscuro's Overhaul by itself?
Guys, i need good clothing mods that would be really fitting replacer clothes for mages. I just finished Apprentice, Adept and Novice Robes and now need something for Expert, Master and Archmage
FCOM is a retarded clusterfuck, don't ever ever use it.
MOO+OOO are perfectly compatible, MOO's mod page even specifies that it automatically detects OOO if it's installed and works great with it. They're the only overhaul mods you need.
>be a member of the dawnguard
>vampire girl tries to get in with me
>can't kill her like a dawnguard would
So the narrative I'm being given is that this one is different, and just because you're a vampire, doesn't mean you're a monster. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
That's all well and good and progressive and everything, and that message is a nice one, but it actually doesn't apply to vampires. It's simply factually incorrect when applied to vampires. Vampires actually are monsters.
Minimal HUD. Just Minimal HUD. Pic related.
>join the dawnguard
>within hours of joining the dawnguard, I'm cavorting with vampires
ok so can I get fired or what. I joined the police, and on my first day I spent it hanging out with drug dealers.
>find this vampire girl with an elder scroll
>"Please take me to my daddy in thsi castle full of vampires, I promise we won't hurt you :(("
>walk with her to Fort Dawngaurd
>mfw Isran or any other Dawngaurd members are nowhere to be found
Are you saying monsters can't be nice?
Honestly they needed to make Serana appear a bit later in the questline. Make the recruitment of Dwemerslut and Trollfag before that. Add in a vampire attack quest. Then you get the Serena quest and get the "Which faction? ;)" choice.
God damn it, every time.
That is hilarious.
Serena IS cute imo, and I didn't look at spoilers but I remember glancing over some mention of curing her. If she's able to be cured, then I'd marry her, especially if we're successful together in stopping this whole kill the sun fiasco.
The mother's concern is that all the other species would rally, and vampire kind would be wiped out.
Isman's concern is that people don't take the vampire threat seriously enough.
If the father is successful, then Isman gets what he wants: an army to exterminate vampires.
So why am I stopping this? With the amount of magic in the elder scrolls setting, I'm also confident in (eventually) resetting the sun too.
I'm bored of Morrowind. I've started uninstalling all of my watercolor mods (but NOT deleting them), and I'm going to start a new game, modding as I go, and see if it gets fun.
why isnt this 4k texture replacer on tesgeneral
should i not use it
Its not? Weird. Yes you should use it, its good
oh I see, I didn't now magic in elder scrolls is tied to the sun.
I'm already planning on killing him for being a power hungry vampire
and a bad fatherbut if he's ALSO retarded then ya that's a good reason too.
>those user uploaded pics
i thought that i was bad at making characters, but holy shit
also does it change feet? the feet i use now i literally perfect and i dont want to change them
Should I go waifu route and make my playthrough lewd with sex mods or should I make brave dunmer, typical male pratagonist who is man or honor and virtue, who seeks ultimate freedom to find answers, and make his existence worthwhile.
Both are tempting.
what if vampires only ate people who were already dead?
or what if they employed their longevity and high magical talent towards making alternatives to real blood?
Serena's mom survived in that prison in oblivion for an era (Serena was locked away before the cyrodil empire even existed). Whatever she did, how come more vampires don't do that?
what if they kept track of their own and punished/killed vampires that broke this law with their own police force?
The stigma of being a vampire is eating people. There seems to be alternatives.
play a waifu, install sex mods, but then play her as a woman of honor who seeks those things. My most fun playthrough was with deviant devices and all those associated mods, but trying my best to be chaste and pure. It was great
The sun and the stars are a gateway to Atherius, which is understood to be the origin of all magicka. Basically, Magnus tore up a big hole when he found out Mundus was a trap and dicked off, and the Magna-Ge made the stars when they followed him.
that's the pic i saw first kek
yeah. I managed to, despite like 15 lewd mods all trying their best to get me. and they help each other too, so the difficulty increased over time. cursed loot usually started things off then deviously helpless and dangerous nights would kick in. but through avoidance and preparedness, I managed.
then i asked lydia to be my mistress and she had her way with me and made me her slave but that was ok because I fell in love with her during our travels.
>using lewd mods
Using them in the way I'm advocating actually added quite a bit to the fun and challenge of the game.
I agree that installing a bunch of mods just to watch sex is lame, but installing the mods and trying my best to go against their purpose was a blast.
>mfw relationship interest got a tatoo of a butterfly or some shit on her back
I got the symbols of each of the guilds I joined as I joined them. Ended up with 3 tattoos.
That's often true but there is a portion of tatoos that are made for a reason.
Some are artistic. Others are gang related. Others still are about lost family or friends.
I'm not saying your wrong, just that your statement doesn't apply to all tattoos equally.
his post was an interesting question related to playing elder scrolls that got lots of replies. yours was pointless vitriol. Who's the one who should fuck off?
Was it small on her shoulder blade or something or a giant tramp stamp that gives her an excuse to be a slut and show off half of her ask to anyone who inquires about her tattoo?
>tfw finally fixed infinite load screens
>mfw i got a new SSD almost exclusively for skyrim
>it didn't make much difference because if the loading issues
>now everything loads in -5 seconds
thank you tesg
ty anon from last weekend
and ty STEP
There is a subculture of people that get tatoos simply because they like how they look
Are you comming the sunday school this week?
Rabby schlomstein is going to teach us how to behead goyim children and degenerates, i heard some patrician premium members from /pol/ will be there too and show us how to properly burn mangas
it was on her neck
it wasnt that bad honestly, but soon after that, she got a second one on her wrist. i think it was a star or some shit. a compass, actually
whatever, she was south american anyway
I don't put tattoo because I don't like most of them (too modern, too lewd, not fitting to the type of character I play...) and I need some story behind. I wanted to play some warrior and having one tattoo for every dangerous creature he killed like dragons, giants, hagravens... but sadly, nobody created that kind of tattoo. A shame.
have you commited suicide yet? Like, not as 4chan insult aka "kill yourself", i mean it. Go, and take your life. Commit suicide your worthless piece of shit
>mfw some enriched white boy is talking like a big guy on the internet and has tiny balls IRL while he faps to cuckporn
Because it would make publishing the games a lot tougher. The games would fall under pornographic content for a lot of countries and Bestheda won't be able to sell it as easily.
Is this the most embarrassing poster in all of /tesg/?
Being so much of an in-denial sperg and telling somebody to kill themselves over the truth about tattoos is just sad. I'm glad I'll never encounter you in real life, though it's kind of obvious that you don't go outside anyway.
Have a nice day.
You'd know a lot about failure rates judging from your own life, eh fuccboi?
I would chalk that up to CD Projekt being a Polish company/publisher, and was aiming for the Witcher series at a far "older" playerbase.
On the other hand, Bethesda aims for a more general audience in age, and is 'murican. Imagine Bethesda trying to release a game on the level of the Witcher series. They would be publicly flamed for putting "porn" in children games. Look at Mass Effect 1 way back for not even showing tits and just fading to black.
>tfw ive only been playing tw3 and tes v for the past week
i already beat tw3 when it came out, but im still loving it. especially after the small break i had AND moving from the console version the the PC version.
>implying anyone asked
i have no friends
>i got a new SSD almost exclusively for skyrim
iktfb have fun
gotta love America's puritan roots
jesus I can't even buy beer on Sundays
Has anyone else got messed up dead branches/trees LoD? Even when getting all the right billboards for Enhanced Landscapes and SFO and using DynDoLoD, the dead trees/branches keep fucking up. Might not even be EL or SFO at all, but those were my suspicions. I bet it's something simple.
What size ssd do you have? i have a 500 gig, and i still use my old 1tb hdd. although i kinda have this weird feeling about playing games using my hard drive now..i just ddont want to for some reason. i am a weirdo
depends on what mods you use honestly
although im sure you've already done this, make sure you're using a SATA 3 port and AHCI mode or whatever
pic section 2
and there's also RAPID mode, but i dont mess with things i dont know about. especially when benchmarks dont really show a huge improvement when using RAPID
oh fuck you i already typed all of this

Trying daggerfall for the first time I think I broke something. When I draw my sword now it makes the drawing sound but it's my unequipped right hand
I guess it's time to punch some motherfuckers
Is this your first time using DDL? If not did you properly disable DDL in that save prior to updating it? If not than it might be residual shenanigans left over from the last time you ran it, so try visiting that spot in a savegame that's clean of previous DDL installations and see if its still there.
I have two EVOs because I ran out of room on the first one. My first Skyrim install was on a 10,000 RPM HDD that I still keep around for other games, then I have a 5400 RPM 4 TB storage drive.
Skyrim's new EVO is a 1 TB, my Windows install is still on the 250. I recently snuck Fallout 4 on the Skyrim SSD too...
Who would have thought playing my watercolor mod would have gotten me, inadvertedly, used to the vanilla textures...
Very possible that it's SFO. The first version I installed of these had huuuge environment glitches right near Riverwood (stuff where rocks disappear and you just can glitch through the ground), yet the author still has this mod in download section almost at the top without any kind of warning.
There also is an other mod especially for SFO LoDs on the nexus, which I would use.
ignore him, it's bait
also id recommend leaving the thread before some faggot spoils the new W3 DLC
>I recently snuck Fallout 4 on the Skyrim SSD too...
I don't want to read about shitty minecraft/COD/MassEffect knock-offs
>Is this your first time using DDL?
For this save yes. In the past I just used TES5LODGen which was fine, but moved to DDL for this one which is when the dead trees issue came up with generated LoD. I didn't fuck with any other advanced options and just went with medium. After all my attempts at trying to fix/find out what it is, there's something about those dead branches and trees that mess up. I was going to try a few other things but wondered if anyone here might have run into it at some point, and maybe a solution.
Oh sorry, Skyrim With Guns.
I guess you can try what that other guy suggested. But I've done dirty updates of DDL in the past and it completely jacked up some of my tree models. They weren't missing though, just like, Rift aspens near Markarth and stuff like that.
>Oh sorry, Skyrim With Guns.
Skyrim with guns would have a good new story, not a shitty story to find the dovakiin's named son after named spouse was killed with 5 side quests and 4 copy/paste "branches" for a main quest. Also, skyrim isn't a shitty hack and slash.
>first play morrowind
>that walking animation though
>install a better animations mod
>eventually notice the clunky animation returns when drawing a greatsword or certain weapons
>that walking animation though
>now it looks normal
I've seen that Vurt included some LoDs in the SFO downloads list (I use the 2K LoDs), but didn't know there was another mod for SFO LoDs somewhere. All I found was a mod that just fixed SFO tree collisions unless I missed one somewhere.
does it matter if i keep my game and mods on my ssd and my save files on my hdd?
if so, how the fuck do i change where my game saves? moving files around doesnt work
I'm almost positive they're both walking simulators.
Yeah that's fine.
Oblivion guidefag here. Back from work. Shit's emptier than I thought. So far the only mod suggested for the new guide was Better Music System. I'll start with the crash prevention+performance adds and mods.
Excuse me? No. This is a TES thread. Leave.
m8 nobody is going to want to add to a Google doc, just ask for suggestions and stuff here.
I hope you're not talking about the Oblivion Crash Prevention system mod because that's horrible shit
That is correct.
>skyrim isn't a shitty hack and slash.
Plus you can tcl in any of them and it becomes an airwalking simulator.
I just put the body next to mature skin, it's pretty much Mature with a few extra stretch marks and moles.
This. So fucking this.
Some times it's just infuriating. There's a faggot blocking the door, and you KNOW you could walk past him in real life, but in Morrowind you just get stuck.
ive done everything i can to stop my infinite load screens
nothing is working
if i raise pic related memory allocation will that help? im running out of ideas :(
>m8 nobody is going to want to add to a Google doc
That's no fun. My guide is basically demwaifus+acechadora's guide
which is awesome, btw+some other guide whose name I can't recall+ some extra mods I know.
Still, that should be enough to make a good one, hopefully. Some of the mods I know may be outdated as hell though. I just found out about Oblivion Reloaded.
>>Oblivion crashes because of a bad script
>>Oblivion Crash Prevention System forces Oblivion to stay open despite the issue
>>bad script remains in your game
>Unless it's a big fuckup nothing really happens and you can still play normally.
It's both good and bad, but I'd still recommend it, especially if you have a fuckton of mods.
It's pretty much essential to helping prevent ILSes, within limit. For example, personal experience proves Skyrim does not like to load from one cell to the next with a 256 MB diffuse in play regardless of how much VRAM you have.
But it has to be configured correctly.
Use an ENB, disable the effects if you want, but leave the ENB installed with the memory fixes enabled. This won't slow down your system at all and will run Skyrim much better.

Vvardenfell Imports is great but it has the drawback that you can only acquire the new items by purchasing them in the shop in Cheydinhal.
I edited the plugin to add most of the items (the ones that make sense at least) to the leveled lists, as well as balancing their values a bit. My edit requires OOO and Shivering Isles.
I can upload it if anyone knows a good place to do that. I won't sign up for anything.
watercolorfag, about requiem. I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with shield users. What are you supposed to do? They seemingly never run out of stamina, and breaking their guard does nothing because the shield comes right back up. Their shields are only down when they're doing a power attack, which 1 shots me.
Is this normal? or is another mod changing their behavior? Because I really don't see any way to progress if shield users are going to be doing this shit for the entire playthrough.
for heavy shielded enemies, run them around a good bit. They'll burn out their stamina and move at a crawl, unable to block effectively.
You can also just smash through it with dual weapons, usually the first will stagger them back and the second/third will connect.
It's all about the timing.
I was an Evasion character. So I basically dodged their attacks, and counterattacked.
I also liked to bash them as they were attacking me, and counterattacking afterwards.
Basically: don't take attacks head on unless you are a heavy armored character.
Also, power attacks are easy to dodge once you get used to them, especially if it's power attacks with warhammers and the like.
Truth is, I actually ended up downloading a mod to get them to dodge and defend more often once I got the hang of the battles.
How's the guide going so far? I'll add the links once I have the list finished (and once I've removed those mods which are shit)
Holy shit what the fuck hit us?
The ship went down instantly.
Looks like the water is rising, better get out of here fast.
I don't hear anything.
Is everyone dead?
Well this guy is.
At least his clothes are dry, gonna take them since he won't be needing them.
Looks like I'm not getting out through here.
Fuck the ship started to sink faster
Need a way out now.
Seems so. Nobody seems to be too interested, actually.
>MFW Oblivion was 10 years ago.
you came at a pretty bad time
/tesg/ is dead and filled with shitposters, near kerbal levels. finish your guide, submit it to tesgeneral.com and hope that guardly ever comes back to check his site
I made it, looks like I'm close to the shore, gonna catch my breath before jumping into the water again.
This place looks like Skyrim.
Why the fuck are back in Skyrim?
>and hope that guardly ever comes back to check his site
Oh she died, I'm glad. She was a bitch.
But how did she die if she made it out?
Something's not right, I gotta get off this ship.
>Oh, no! Tense situation! What will I do?!
Land! finally I can rest, but it's freezing cold, need to get dry clothes.
I wonder where the closes village is...
He died, now I will only be able to make sexface with limp brown sausage.
I need to find living redguards to suck.
These are still wet, from swiming but at least they protect me a little better.
I see some ruins, fuck I hope I don't find any bandits nearby.
todd howard raped and killed a girl in 1990
I'll be honest, I feel like a moron for talking so much about my mod after deleting it and tasting the vanilla textures.
There's something about the blurryness, yet "sharpness" of them... I actually find the female NPCs attractive now.
What is this and how do I make it stop happening?
Trying out Unbleak.
I got completely bored of Morrowind. Like, completely. I would start the game, and exit a couple minutes later.
Since I was bored, I thought "why the hell not", and actually I'm having more fun now.
Exactly. The game feels more lively now, since watercolor is so unnatural. And by feeling more lively, it feels more fun and immersive (and God knows it was hard feeling immersed when characters' faces where a splotch of colors).
And surprisingly, having not-so-good-res textures doesn't bother me as much.
>casting sparks in Requiem
you don't start out with basic spells unless you've majored in them and spells will burn out your mana very very fast, you can't just pump gout spells on people anymore
>Oblivion Reloaded and ENB are compatible with each other
>everything seems fine, even the water effect
>suddenly the water disappears when I walk on it
Turning off ENB fixes the water issue. But the water shows up fine until I walk on it. I really don't get it.
i have that issue a swell, I solved it by raising my object distant fade settings in the skyrim display menu
So how does one get motivated to play?
5 Minutes after i start a new game i feel lost, have no idea what to do, no idea where to get and just quit the game again.
Dunno why but its so hard to find something to do...
I just get motivated by some of the adventure posting that goes on here. At least when it does happen.
Either that or a new quest mod will come out and rejuvenate my motivation.
Adventure/RP/Storytelling and screen archery for me.
I should get to compiling all these images I have saved up.
Don't underestimate the power of Destruction spells.
I was a Thief character and my only means of defeating Dragons was casting sparks on them and fireballs (and I'm talking the most basic of spells).
nvm fixed it :^) you can close this thread now!!!
