First for trophies:
Have you considered the possibility that you, my friend, might have been bamboozled all along?
Let me tell you a story of my stupidity that makes everyone feel better
> Right around when Season Passes/Ultimate editions start becoming a thing
> Have no idea how they work
> Want Hot shots golf out of bounds
> Friend tells me to just buy the ultimate edition then add everyone thing else to my cart
> Take it to mean just add the ultimate edition and everyone thing you want, then buy it at the same time
> Purchase it thinking that the stuff added to cart will just go down to free after I put in my card info
> Not sure why I'm being charged more than double the ultimate edition cost
See, now you'll never feel bad about overpaying for SS again.
>Get a game through ps+
>Beat the game
>Free plat for the plat collection
>Trophy completion rate goes up even more
Feels good being an autistic platfag.
>Amazon UK finally has a proper listing for Gravity Rush Remastered
>listed as out on the 5th
>doesn't mention theme preorder bonus
Fuck it I don't care I can just finally fucking order it
Was expecting 29.99 like Ratchet and Clank and Hundred Knight
>estival versus and DOAX3 in the same month
My PS4 stopped giving my throwaway accounts 2 day trials. What do? I have no money for PS+, I used the old Japan PSN trick and the 2 day thingy to never pay
How pathetic can you even be
Sansaru implemented cross-save into the PS3+Vita versions you dumbshit aka 2 plats for the price of 1 since it was also cross-buy.
fuck gtao is unplayable garbage, it's a game for people who only buy fucking gta
it's a fucking mess, and full of mexicans and blacks online, the worst of all is that it really has some interesting shit, but none of it is in singleplayer, fucking singleplayer is just a 30 hour tutorial for gtao
And you think I give a shit? top kek I'm not opening the fucking map on every location once again because it was hell and Sly 4 was way too long for my taste.
Is it my fault that the two games have EXACTLY the same trophy lists but are separate at the same time?
They follow the manga only without any filler from the animu.
4 will only take into account the final arc + the epilogue I think
But the story in the games has worse pace than the animu itself
I've never interacted with the Naruto mango or anime, the only thing I've done is play the demo for UNS4.
So guess I'll grab the collection and wait for 4 to drop in price then.
>I'm not opening the fucking map on every location once again because it was hell
But then you didn't earn the second plat.
Literally stuffing his pants with socks so others think he has a big e-peen. What a fucking loser.

Haha just kidding. Ded as fuck.
Don't bully him. There's nothing wrong with asking around for opinions in a general.
Have any of you chaps ever played Puppeteer?
's a really good game.
really, the entire thing's kinda dark.
with a demon hellbear stealing children's souls to torture and such, constant mentions of characters being killed or wanting to kill Kutaro (We even get to see Tiger's corpse) and if it wasn't for the curtains dropping we'd have seen the Moon Bear King strangle Rat to death.
great character design though
I pirated the game on PC and wouldn't mind supporting it at a reasonable price, because it's very polished for an exploration game/walking sim. But it's still the equivalent of a short story.
>I forgot it was in minutes
>Instead of hours
It looks ugly and is going to replace "Only on Playstation" for games that are actually exclusive
It being ugly is my only complaint really. "Only on" works for actual exclusives so they should keep it for first party stuff.
Uncharted is a PS4 exclusive that will never leave.
Street Fighter V is a PS4 exclusive available on PC.
Nier Automata is a PS4 exclusive that could come to other platforms.
Persona 5 is a PS4 exclusive that's on PS3.
Uncharted is a Playstation exclusive. UC4 is a PS4 exclusive.
SF4 isn't an exclusive. If it's on a competing platform it simply can't be an exclusive. I'd only expect neogaf to defend this.
I fully agree with you on Nier automata.
Persona 5 literally can't be a PS4 exclusive if it's also on PS3.
Semantics. Let's not argue them.
>Uncharted is a PS4 exclusive that will never leave.
>Street Fighter V is a PS4 exclusive available on PC.
PS4 Console Exclusive
>Nier Automata is a PS4 exclusive that could come to other platforms.
PS4 Timed Exclusive
>Persona 5 is a PS4 exclusive that's on PS3.
Only on Playstation
I would say it's worth that. I actually played First Light before Second Son, while I was waiting for it to come in the mail.
The story is pretty short, but you'll get a little extra play time out of 100% the map. The arena modes are where most of the time will go. It's split between just wave survival and objective based survival, with a bunch of meta challenges to complete during them that give you XP for more abilities.
I've probably gotten at least 15 hours out of it, and I haven't finished the plat yet. If you're someone who doesn't just drop a game after plat too I'm sure the arena will have you coming back for a while, too.
>Mfw a great game gets ignored because of a new console release
>Can't even buy it for the new console because "fuck backwards compatibility amirite?"
Picked the first random thing I could think when my usual names didn't work. Kind of wish I put more thought into it now though, wasn't planning on any online back then so I didn't care but years later here we are.
One night I drank too much and downed some melatonin which always gives me weird dreams. In the dream I was the chieftain for a tribe of ayylien barbarians and they referred to me as my future username. It's not a real word so it's never taken.
When I got my ps4 I didn't have an internet connection, I took it over to a mates to update it and got him to make an account while was in the toilet.
He made me Aussieyobo and I didn't change it cause I didn't plan on playing online now I kinda regret it, but I don't even know what I would call myself if I could change it.
My story is pretty funny.
>some years ago
>live in poor region of Peru
>my mom is a well-known prostitute
>one day fat British businessman comes to fuck her
>uses my computer to check his emails (my room reeked of his cum all day)
>dumbfuck saved his passwords into firefox
>stole his PS account through pass recovery
>it was "YNA_p4u7"
I'm using it ever since.
Burgers are delicious, Watch Dogs will last you longer.
Watch Dogs is ok, but its got some issues, I'm hoping it ends up like AssCreed where the first game was a testing ground and the second is where they strike gold.
Just used the name I use most other places, which is just a word I like in a fictional language.
I might have chosen a slightly different spelling knowing how people would end up trying to pronounce it.
>Laying on my bed
>PS4 has been on for about 40 minutes cause I was gonna play something but decided to jump on here for a little bit.
>Every now and then the screen flickers, nothing huge, just for a moment
I-i-its just my old HDMI cable r-r-ight guys?
I played a lot of Kingdom Hearts 2 at the time. So I took my real first name and did the Organization XIII thing, with the X. I was a sperg when I was younger and I am still ashamed. But almost nobody would know I did it unless they knew my real name.
Should I beat the basegame of disgaea 5 before adventuring into the itemworld? I'm currently trying to upgrade the weapon of my main guy and every fucking time I go into the itemworld I just get a better weapon that I could upgrade instead.
>Mfw a great game gets ignored because nobody fucking marketed it because companies don't know adblock exists and not everyone follows your company twitter/check genmatsu every 4 hours
Hi I'm back now. Didn't really visit since october.
Are you guys still all mom this, no fun allowed that?
I hope not.
One of my favourite albums is all themed around things that I really like and they use a term but spelled "wrong" so that it means more what the album is actually about. I'm happy that term was still available without the need for stupid numbers and the like.
It's been stated multiple times that the game is being developed for PS4 only. It's in much the same situation as the rest of Taros works, it's not bound to any given platform by an exclusivity contract - it's just only on PS4 becuase Taros audience has proven to be on Sony consoles. To give a directly relatable example, Drakengard 3 was PS3 exclusive two years ago when it released and it still is today, and it also was never bound by any exclusivity contracts.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a "timed exclusive", in that it's an exclusive release on one platform initially that is specifically planned for release on other platforms later - as in they've specifically stated it will release on platforms other than what it was on first.
Nier Automata is not currently planned for release on any platform besides PS4 and the developers have not stated they intend to release it on other platforms later either (Square PR have said it's not out of the picture, but that's a very different statement). This doesn't mean it won't ever happen, but it doesn't mean it will either.
tl;dr It's currently only in development for PS4, - because of audience rather than any sort of exclusivity contract - and they have no intentions to release it elsewhere at this time.
Anyone saying anything other than this is a shitposter who insists on making this discussion more platform war-y than it needs to be and should fuck off.
first try was the name of a song
I got kind of salty because wtf is not even a popular song, so i picked something I heard in a chinese cartoon that i liked and changed one word
recently I made another account for HK region and used the phrase unchanged
Are the uniques any good in Disgaea 5? I've been pumping everything into Killia but the bitch and usalia suck monkey balls. Also the white haired faggot annoys me to no end. Should I just replace them with cute girl generics?
Unique are for most of them gimmicky as fuck.
In story mode just equip your most powerfull weapon. In post-game, it doesnt even matter because you can reach max stat without them, they are mostly cosmetics.
PS4 has passed PS3 launch aligned in Japan.
I believe the two major spikes for PS3 is FF13 and PS3 slim.
Hopefully PS4 can find similar spikes (FF15, DQ11 or similar), personally I think home console market in Japan isn't as dead as the most negative people put it.
The girl has something like 50% more damage against male units. I thought the most important thing about them is their overload attack. It also says something like female casters being worse at dealing massive damage than male casters for example, can you just grind that out aswell or will male casters always do more damage, even at higher level?
Check evility to understand what they meant by that.
Again, if you just play story mode it doesnt matter. If you play the post game it still doesnt matter because the damage difference is negligible.
Don't you mean MORE warhammer *fans?
I'd always gladly take Warhammer fans over Bethesda shit eaters. Also this isn't the first Warhammer game on PS4, so complaining about something that hasn't happened to begin with is silly.
I'm currently at the part where you fight the necro loli for the third time and money seems like a non issue. The best gear at the vendor is like 200k and I have 10 million in my bank. I've been grinding the itemworld for a couple of hours and every 10 stages was a vendor who sold higher tier stuff so I bought a sword for 2 million along the line which lets me oneshot everything.
I still don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I upgraded one of the base spells of my mage so high that I can't use it because I don't have the mana on him.
You can de-upgrade spell if needed.
Also you should up your vendor level (by buying shit) if you have to much money. If you can buy everything you want in the shop, during story mode, you are doing something wrong.
I probably wasted too much time in the itemworld. Everytime I bought a sword there I leveled it up and got a new one in that sword. The stuff I'm currently getting in the story mode is stuff I already had in the itemworld. There's also so much shit dropping that I never thought I'd need to buy some.
That's something I don't understand quite yet. The difference between a very good generic and just a regular one are +10 stats and a couple of million HL. Are those +10 stats really that important?
During story or post-game?
Uniques get extra unique evilities and overloads as the story progresses, much sooner than your generics will.
Killia is pretty fucking good by the end of the story mode.
+10 stats is a fair amount early on if invested properly. Near meaningless in the long term unless you want true max stats or something.
Same goes for 10m HL. Tons at first, worth nothing later (I think I have something like 5 trillion now and I'm not done with post-game).
Numbers scale up super big.
Just use different mechanics when you feel comfortable if you're still in the story/early post-game.
Kilia and red magus are currently my big hitters. I had some missions where I would send in useless units to die so red magus could use his overload and oneshot 9 units at the same time with some special attack while kilia can almost oneshot story bosses. The only really useful units I currently have besides those two are my healer, usalia for damage buffs and my red mage who can also oneshot most enemies over a fuck huge range. Should I even bother with training monsters? Mon-toss and the weapon transformation give me almost jack shit, it's something like 50 more damage for kilia while my sword has 1700 already.
40, I recall some anon posted a basic rundown of how to level up in D5 post game a few months back that just sort of outlined the process you would need to go through stage by stage to finish everything.
Would you happen to have it saved or know where to find it?
That was me.
You need to create a Sage (easy to farm later on because they have a spell that do damage on everything on the map). They have a spell that oneshot geo symbol.
In the cheat shop, put the difficulty to max stars (20) and enter itemworld of your highest carnage item (even low carnage item are better than high "regular" item). If you dont see a geo symbol, just quit and retry, the map will change everytime. When you see a geo symbol, destroy it with the sage spell and you should get max class on your sage. Now you have to do this with every class of the game on a single character (you can change subclass in the assembly menu).
Once it's done, reincarnate to lv 1, put your sage in a max elite four group and level it to 9999 again. It should have 10M base stats.
Now you need to cry a lot and farm the asagi map for extract. If you have the Metalia DLC, it's easier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oVDSh_5c7A
Once it's done (the fusioned extract has 10M stats), use a Maid with the evility that make you use item in a cross patern to give it to 5 character at the same time (or just one if you dont care). You now should have 20M base stats.
I dont remember the evility setting, but you can easily double your stats so you get to 40M. You can also farm chara world to get max bonus (in %) stats everywhere if you want.
Now you have to get a carnage Trap. For this, you need to find the item just before, the carnage Arcadia. Item world until level 98 > Gency out, save your game. Now go back and get to the Item God, he have a carnage trap on him. Steal it.
How to farm carnage trap next post
In the long term you can basically do anything with anything so there's not much specific advice I can give you. I almost never use magichanging - so far anyway.
Still have it saved but the guy has responded to you already so yeah.
I'd just pick some of them because I really like their sprites.
So now you have a trap, cool. It's useless for now.
The most difficult grind in the game is now. You need to set up the difficulty in the cheat shop to 20 stars. Why ? Because doing so increase your item kill bonus quicker, and without it some people are in the lv ~2000 of the item and still not max stats. I dont remember what is the max bonus, but look it on the net. Maybe 500 ?
The setting I used to farm my carnage trap is this: your uber sage with 40M stats, magichange on her Usalia+Metalia (I have Metalia, but a Fox lady should do the trick too). Dont forget to equip the double dragon unique evility to do 2 attacks in a row if you dont move. If you have the laharl DLC, also equip the Girl Laharl evility giving you a free attack on your first turn (so you can do 3 attack in a row on your first turn).
Put around your sage 3 Angels with the Kitty Cat evility that make them immune to ally damage (Softening aura) plus Christo (with the angel unique evility equiped). That way you get a +100% atk modifier. Lastly, use a Prof to magic boost your sage. With this, you should be able to kill everyone on the map in one turn. To give you an idea, it's the setting I used to get to the golden damage trophy.
Once your trap kill bonus is maxed, you can get back to 0 stars to finish the farm quickly, much easier. When it's max stats (you cant do item assembly to boost it's stats anymore), just farm in your trap item world until you get a bonus room wich can duplicate the item. It's not a 100% chance of success, I think it's something like 50% only.
You'll need 3 max stats traps and you should have max stats or close.
But if you dont want to grind traps, you can get the platinium trophy with "only" 40M base stats because you dont need to defeat Baal or carnage baal.
I may have forget some stuff, been a while since I played the game, but it's should take you a couple of hours to do most of it for now.
Someone post that ugly pic of 40% IRL so these dumb idiots can throw up in their mouths
I go with Desco because she's best girl.
It helps that she has a god tier evility and overload too though.
It's like 1 or 2 people at most circlejerking.
What the fuck kind of fetish dress is this supposed to be? It's like she's wearing a skin-tight dress with a corset ontop of it. And what's the fucking boob window for?
>actually wanting to spend money on mobile ports
I bet you're a trophy fag.
I would usually never spend that much on ROMs, but I never played GTA3 vice city, and San Andreas (only liberty city stories and vcs) so I'm debating it. Definetly picking up persona 4 golden though
A mixture between ping pong, pool, and golf. A gentlemen's sport in which the player must land the ball in various holes by serving the ball ping pong style. This game was originated in the Kelly household and will go down as the greatest game ever made.
This is not bait, I own all ps systems and am a ps diehard. Back during the early ps3 era I would defend it and its games to my friends, they would shit on if with the no games meme. But now the ps4 everyone owns and loves, but when we look at the titles that have been released on ps3 at this point of its life cycle vs ps4, shit is unreal. By now we had uncharted, warhawk, folklore, heavenly sword, resistance 1&2, SOCOM confrontation, motorstorm 1&2, LBP, wipeout hd, infamous, metal gear solid 4. Whats on ps4? Driveclub, until dawn, bloodborne, infamous, killzone? Even then until dawn, killzone, and driveclub aren't that great, while infamous is short as fuck. I'm really disappointed in this console, and I hate how whenever I go on the ps4 subreddit (only lively PlayStation forum) they defend the ps4 saying "well the ps3 barely had any games by now" I hate it when Sony is winning
Competition is always better for the consumer but I doubt Sony is investing less just because they're already winning. More likely that they can afford to do long term investments now, like psvr maybe
>By now we had uncharted, warhawk, folklore, heavenly sword, resistance 1&2, SOCOM confrontation, motorstorm 1&2, LBP, wipeout hd, infamous, metal gear solid 4. Whats on ps4? Why aren't you pitting those same criticisms against the PS3 games? Plenty of those PS3 games aren't remotely close to universal critical acclaim, I can guarantee there are many out there who would say they aren't that great.
Seems silly that you'd count this if you're not willing to count the likes of The Last of Us Remastered - Wipeout HD is entirely made up of content reused from previous Wipeout games, just reworked visually for HD. Tearaway Unfolded is more of a new full game than Wipeout HD was.
What about LittleBigPlanet 3? I'm sure you're gonna not count that because it's on PS3 as well.
Nah, let's just say "Sony sucks when they're winning" and not actually consider the climate games are developed in at all and arbitrarily ignoring games while counting others that you'd ignore under the same bias - then get upset when people disagree, because reddit!
Man, Arc the Lad actually looks quite nice. This whole PS2 on PS4 thing is growing on me, more so than last gen's HD rereleases. If we end up getting a hype as fuck sequel like Dark Cloud 3 from these things I'll stop questioning them altogether.
This year may be the year that starts the stride. Just wait and see.
I loved my PS3 the entire time I had it, but I think I'm biased because I didn't have a PC or internet growing up before it so it was my first real online experience, so it felt so entirely new to me. I'm not going to tell you I'm completely happy with the current state of the console, but it does look to be getting tangibly better in the not-so-distant future.
You can spin it anyway, but there is a larger volume of PS3 games by this point of its life cycle, and my opinion ever game I listed is better than anything on PS4 (exclusive wise) sans Bloodborne. I actually had no idea Wipeout HD is remade courses. I would consider Tearaway a game for PS4, but not TLOU, although LBP3 is grey area (I love it and have it on PS3).
My main point is, the "No Games" meme was in such high intensity at this point of the PS3's life, when in reality it always had games especially compare to the PS4.
You are totally right, ps4 has taken a long time to hit its stride, the first parties are taking an unusually long time to get stuff out and what has come out has only been slightly above average, if I didn't have third parties to play I would probably be pissed I bought a ps4.
I think this year is the year it will hit its stride though, we'll see.
So many exclusives are coming out this year, both big and small, first and third parties.
Why didn't you say "Exclusive" games in your first post? Claiming that the PS4 has no games is retarded even if you only talk about exclusives, but at least your point would be more clear. Otherwise, you just look retarded.
Suprised you didn't point out SOCOM which was critically panned, although it was beloved by its playerbase and sold well regardless.
Are you high? LBP is one of the best games to be released in the past decade.
I hate how Warhawk fans hate on Starhawk, that game was really good.
I wish sony released some of their games on PC. Hear me out. Games like Starhawk, SOCOM, and even Killzone would have a much better time on PC. Its a shame to see a game like Starhawk and Warhawk go to waste.
Drawn to Death sucks. I don't know how far off it is from the official release, but early access already feels like a shitty F2P game with the infrastructure behind obtaining characters, skins, etc. Also doesn't help currently that matches end when someone gets just five kills.
I wish David Jaffe would make a regular game instead of contributing to Sony's console F2P initiative.
Is it actually Early Access (as in "pay to get in early") or beta? I haven't followed.
Final version has always been planned to be free according to wiki. So it would feel like F2P then, yeah. Not that that doesn't suck.
They're both official.
And she's best girl regardless.
Hey guys just made a weeb comic about Rocket League, do you rike it?
Does anyone here pre-order games? If so, what have you got pre-ordered?
Or, if you just wanna bitch and moan about your fellow consumers being retards, what is it that made you stop pre-ordering all together?
Yes to both
You need to play 2033 before LL though, cause LL is a sequel.
Not much, but I have Digimon Cyber Sleuth, Kamen Rider Battride War Genesis, Gundam Breaker 3 and Ratchet & Clank.
I'll more than likely place a few more on pre-order in the coming weeks, but right now that's all I care about.
Only have Uncharted 4 pre-ordered because I know for a fact that I'm going to play it regardless of reviews. I'll probably pre-order Persona 5 when a NA date is announced.
Sometimes, if they really intrigue me, I'll pre-order indie games on PSN. Tempted to pre-order Unraveled but I can wait.
Currently nothing but in the next few weeks I plan to preorder:
Maybe Mirrors Edge 2
And I plan to outright buy:
Dying Light Enhanced Edition
Gravity Rush Rematered
I'm sure there is 1 more jap game I am forgetting.
I do it so I can log in to the eb website and see what I have preordered and how much I've put on it, then pay them off slowly up till their release date.
Just like my power and gas bills.
Stranger of Sword City LE
Atelier Escha and Logy Plus LE
Gravity Rush Remaster
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
Ratchet and Clank
I'm probably going to add Street Fighter V to that list pretty soon, too.
I do it so I don't have to risk my local stores not having a copy of the game on release day, as most of the stuff I'm into is fairly niche.
Also, I'm a sucker for pre-order DLC and special editions, and getting stuff at launch is the only reliable way to secure either at a reasonable price.
>preordering when any new release is at least $10 cheaper in a week or two
Finally preordered Gravity Rush Remastered now there's a UK Amazon listing.
Ordered and paid for the Hundred Knight LE in December.
When I can be sure of my money, probably some time next week, I'll be preordering Nep VII, Digimon and Street Fighter, but waiting just to be sure.
Got Dragon's Dogma preloaded. Will possibly do the same for American Truck Sim when it gets a price listed
Everything else is a bit too far away for me to bother ordering yet.
you should send it to shueisha desu senpai great potential
The only game I pre-ordered in the last 5 years in MGS 5. I got it at home 3 days before official release, was pretty happy.
Except if i'm really hype for a game, I never preorder, I wait for non official review (hard to trust magazine these days, even if in my country I still have one or two relevant and more honest that what you find on the internet).
I only care about the character creation
>spend literally an hour trying to come up with a good name, everything I try is taken
>fuck it, I'll just put two of my favorite animal names together
>there is/will be a way to change it the future anyway, right?
I WAS WRONG.
PvZ Garden Warfare 2, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, Tom Clancy: The Division
subject to be canceled if I don't like the beta.also have the collectors edition of Overwatch pre-ordered, but only because I keep forgetting to cancel it.
I'm thinking of pre-ordering the new Far Cry game, and I keep meaning to pre-order Witch and the Hundred Knight but I always fucking forget. The new 20% all pre-order perk for prime members will probably cause me to do more pre-ordering.
Gravity Rush Remastered
Odin Sphere Storybook Edition
Might pre-order PvZ Garden Wafare 2. I'll decide after playing the beta. I really liked the first game so I think i'll enjoy this one.
One of my favorite adventure games, by the now-hack Tim Schafer, though it's dated. The remaster isn't very impressive but at least they added an alternative to the tank controls.
Yeah, PvZ GW was a blast, but I'm a bit leery about dropping a full 60 buckaroos on the sequel. First game could be plat'd in like, 20 hours I think.
It does sound like it has a bunch of new stuff though.
Honestly, I was just going to wait for a price drop to get GW2 but Amazon Prime's 20% new video games made me consider pre-ordering it.
Been a prime member for about a year now.
Not sure how I feel about the Hardware Rivals game. On the one hand, it's nice to have a car combat game. On the other, I'm terrible at it, there are only four cars, and there is only... four or five maps?
Aiming while going fast is pretty hard.
I played GTA V on the ps3 and it was fun but the graphics were garbage and the frame rate was terrible.
Is there a significant difference with the ps4 version?
I just want to kill some time for a few days and I can't really think of anything else that's just dumb fun.
>Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 delayed to March 24 in Japan
will the asia version still come the same day r-right?
Much more stable 30fps and probably the most detailed open-world game on PS4. They added a lot of things to the new versions that enhance the game world. Plus last year they ported the Rockstar Editor, which contains Director Mode--a way to add things to the map, play as any character model, use cheats, etc. And GTAO is still good with friends. I've gotten my money's worth for double-dipping.
When will consoles let you gift people? I want to aggressively send people digital copies of bullshit I want them to play
>I don't know his age he lives with my wife's boyfriend
The gates to shitpost hell opened and now shitpost demons have descended everywhere
They need to hype the game more. I'm excited for SO5 in the recent, it looks damn fine. Tales of need to step up their game, Berseria doesn't look that appealing for me from the news I've heard so far
Has Sony mentioned anything regarding PS1 Classic support?
Worst case is they ignore your library of existing PS1 games in favor of charging $5 more so you can have trophies and uprezzing.
Things I'm super excited for:
- The Witness
- Persona 5
- Uncharted 4
- Horizon: Zero Dawn
- All the VR
- Deus Ex: Manking Divided
- Watch_Dogs 2
- that Vanilla Ware remaster
- game reveals by Studio Bend(t?) and Santa Monica
- Destiny 2
- Probably so much that I'm forgetting.
What about you? Just naming preorders is boring, I don't preorder too much.
Super excited for
>Dark Souls III
>Gravity Rush 2
>New Danganronpa V3
Cautiously excited for
I liked the first one, but it is full of glaring flaws, if they fix these and focus more on the stealth and hacking gameplay, and less on shitty car chases with telepathic police and shit controls, I'm all in for it.
>Horizon: Zero Dawn
Looks alright, but haven't seen enough to be convinced, and I'll need more than that with Guerrilla Games.
>The Last Guardian
Doubt it'll come this year, but after the dev hell it's been in, I'm not sure whether it'll deliver.
Day one buys are:
Gravity Rush 2 (and Remastered)
The Last Guardian
BlazBlue Central Fiction
Horizon Zero Dawn
Kingdom Hearts III
Final Fantasy XV
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
Tales of Berseria
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth
Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival (and 2, hopefully we get more info on it this year)
Ratchet and Clank
Senran Kagura Estival Versus
No Man's Sky
Street Fighter 5
Watch Dogs 2
Whatever Sucker Punch is working on
+ lots of others I'm interested in enough to probably buy early if not day one too like Star Ocean 5.
Good picks. I forgot about Star Ocean 5 and The Last Guardian.
And yes, I would add Watch_Dogs 2 to cautiously excited too, when it comes to playing it, but I'm very excited to see what they do with it. It was certainly very flawed but had potential.
I very much doubt Nier and Sucker Punch is coming out this year. Next year though.
I think the concept in Watch Dogs, the environment control, was great and mechanically really interesting, so as long as they improve some of the more notable issues like vehicle physics then I'd be totally up for a sequel.
>I very much doubt Nier and Sucker Punch is coming out this year.
Statements have said 2016 for Nier, but it's a vague 2016 so it's entirely possible it could be late, and there's always the the fact western release will likely be later. But 2016 IS their stated date.
An yosp has said he's already played Sucker Punches new game, along with Bend and Quantic Dreams (presumably Detroit). I do think it'll probably be 2017 though but still, I like their stuff so I'm pretty excited.
Day-one buys unless something goes wrong:
>Gravity Rush Remastered
>Ratchet & Clank
>The Last Guardian
>What Remains of Edith Finch
>No Man's Sky
Need to look at the game chart when I get home, because I'm interested in almost all of the games on it.
Particularly cautious about the new South Park game.
What's the best way to start into post game in D5? I'm currently farming some martial arts map with kilia and the exp sharing squad for my team because the necro loli kicked my ass real bad when I tried the new campaign. I gained like 150 levels since, so I might be able to clear it now.
Do the story stuff with necro loli and so on until you can't do more, then grind on the martial stages. That'll keep you going for a while.
Once you unlock the Carnage Dimension you'll want to start focusing on hyper grind, which, for the first step, is mastering all classes. See: >>128436218 for your long term goals.
Land Decimator is at like lv50 or something if I remember right, it's really low. It doesn't get useful until your Sage has good stats and you are using the right evilities and support units. It's a whole bunch of set up required but is definitely worth it if you want to do item world stuff.
Guess I'll just come back later then when I managed to beat the new story stuff. I'm currently confused on how the strategy assembly thing works because I tried giving them gold and they still didn't like my plan so I beat the shit out of them. For some reason usalia joined the assembly and got holocausted in the process.
>When do sages actually learn the fuck huge aoe spell?
It's called Land Decimator. You should have it already.
Since you are probably just levelling right now and haven't really started the real grind what you can do is clear Martial Training stages with the right amount of stars for the mobs to end up at levels that end with as many 9s as possible. With how exp calculation works in these games a lv399 mob will give you many, many, times more exp than a lv400 mob. I'm not sure about the exact multiplier in D5 but lv99 vs lv100 was about 8 times as much exp in D1. I'm sure you can look up what the optimal maps/star combinations are on gamefaqs or something. Pick a unit you like and want to max, get some stars in as many subclasses on it as you can stand and then reincarnate it. This will give you a shitload of bonus stats when they are at an okay level again and probably let you clear the rest of the story missions with ease.
Eventually you really want to do the whole Sage thing though, they trivialize all grinding in the game dramatically. Once you are set up properly it takes like 2-3 hours to make a new character, master all subclasses on them, and feed them with a maxed extract so they end up at the 20m base stats.
Oh, thanks for the tip with the stars. Instead of 4-5 levels per clear I gained 80 with just one run. Is it a good idea to farm like an hour with 550% more exp and nothing else? I don't really need the money and other stuff right now.
So Resident Evil Origins is coming out soon, a remastered collection of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil.
As someone who's never played the franchise, is this a good time to start? Are the games any good?
I was just listing what I think will be guaranteed 2016 releases. Not sure when Dreams could release this year; Sony shouldn't throw another Media Molecule game out to die.
I wish I could get into the beta test.
>“I will warn you, though, that the story inThe Witness, such as it is, is fairly subtle and happens mostly implicitly,” Blow said. “You really have to explore and read between the lines to know what’s going on. So do not expect a traditional game story like The Last of UsorThe Order!”
Sounds like Rapture but with actual puzzles/deeper gameplay. Hope it's good.
Disgaea anon here, you want to level up a char with either a magical spell or a weapon ability that make you attack in a 3x3 patern for faster farming. Go full xp in the cheat shop, grind the highest training map you can until you hit lv 9999. It should be more than enough to finish the 3 or 4 post game storyline and unlock the way to carnage dimension.
You also should have a bonus weapon unlocked from side quest (a flag I think) that give you a small boost to stats growth, when you begin the endgame content every bit help.
