Holy fuck I just realized that you can shoot Logarius's sword that he plants on the ground and don't have to run up to it and smack it with a melee weapon
I beat him at level 4 without knowing this
Is the Hunter in Bloodborne a glorified Great One abortion doctor?
Nearly all the Great Ones you are murdering are eldritch kids.
Either the Moon Presence doesn't like kids or it's jealous of it's Great One bros spawning with lewd humans.
>didnt strap the runestone to his back and carry a thin broadsword with him
that shit looks so clunky.
Is there any drawback to killing simon when you see him? Does it affect anything to do with brador? Also, how viable is Bloodletter for a dex/BLT build if you only use it in its tricked form?
Ah, from >>128345726 I was about to get excited, because I thought he would drop the key too, so I could get bloodletter before even dealing with research hall.
But I wanted to go 30/20/9/50/50/9
>trying to get through Pthumeru chalices early (low level, before Vicar Amelia) for lost chikage
>fight my way all the way through to the Defiled Chalice
>realizing I need to go to Loran first and get mummified babies
I just got an over %31 attack up at low hp, but it's the first I've ever seen that is nourishing style instead of just boosting physical and it makes me want to get korean with a base vit hyper character but I'm not sure what weapons would be ideal for a really high nourishing boost to split damage
I was think wheel and HMS? wheel would also be nice for draining my hp to hyper range. I also really want at least 50 skl because I will definitely need visceral cheese to make it through some of the more difficult content.
CF 10/33/50/50/05/50 @ BL148
Is this good?
>ailing loran story chalice
>tricked hunter axe
>spider whiffs attack
>he baps me with his front legs between the hits and after the second one, killing me with 35 vit
why is this real
Retard here, how the fuck do I make dark brown hair in this fucking game. Dont just say red and green. I know that, but I cant seem to make dark brown no matter what I try. Spoonfeed me pls
just found this video though it is only available quite late game it is the fastest bloodecho farming location I have ever seen.
Are there any dungeons that are accessible early game for really fast echo farming/
So, about Lost weps like the Chikage, will they ALWAYS spawn in a root chalice or is it a chance thing? Can I buy it off the messengers if I have the base weapon much the same as I can DLC weapons? Is that how it works?
Spurdo never gets old
Fun fact, the origin of Vicar as an ecclesiastical title comes from the same root as 'vicarious.'
A Vicar isn't a leader, but one who leads in absentia. It's the stand-in for a proper authority figure -and only holds authority for the long-term when the proper leadership title is reserved for someone.
The fact that Laurence is the "first Vicar" is important because it implies that the healing church was founded with the idea that the role of leader was pre-reserved for someone, or something.
Something like, for example, A Great One or
>ver10 comes out
>the broken mirror in the hunter's dream house allows you to recustomize your character's appearance/voice/age/gender
>all armors that include capes have cape toggles
>all helms that include them have mask toggles
>enemy magic double/tripletaps in multiplayer removed
>you can increase the effects of blood gems with blood echoes up to the current cap
I assume that, like its real world counterpart, God/the gods come first, so whereas he's a church leader, he's second to the gods who truly lead. Vicars and other such ecclesiastical peoples will become redundant during the Second Coming/full scale ascension to Great One-hood.
Come on Guise I am looking for similar grinding spots but for earlier dungeons
>he's second to the gods who truly lead
Except that, on the surface, the healing church doesn't worship a specific God. They worship the Old Blood and minor deities like Oedon are only lumped under their umbrella because of their relationship (whether real or imagined) to the blood.
That's why the title of Vicar is interesting, because it implies that there is some being there that serves as the Healing Church's tetragrammaton or rightful regent despite them not being , at least outwardly, a primarily theistic organization.
Ailing Loran Layer One lantern, the room full of blanket head dudes gets pretty good no-effort echo return decently quickly. It's not like that video with 18 seconds for 100k+, it's more like 45 seconds for ~30k
Thanks man it will help a lot since you can get to the nightmare frontier after killing vicar amelia ( tonsil stone and hidden village route) and just kinda beef up for the later game that has been kicking me in the dick
>But they know the blood comes from the Great Ones
Do they? They certainly know that it's a 'holy medium' discovered in the labyrinth but the direct connection to horrifying cosmic superbeings beyond the comprehension of flesh which peer quietly, hungrily through the veil of sleep at our vulnerable, defenseless minds is probably not the highlight of their rhetoric.
I was under the impression that the existence of 'Great Ones' in the cosmic sense was a bit of a secret kept among the church's conniving elite. After all, true enlightenment need not be shared.
why does some weaponms make me diamond har
i mean fucking seriously, they are just virtual weaponms and the character just have virtual animations
but those animations goddamn
i cannot handle those, theyre fucking amazing i want to fuck them right now
i mean when i equip the weapon and just press buttons to hit with it
oh my god why
DLC lanterns are a real quick farm.
Run up and kill the first one, pick up the drop while you pop like a zit, and then run and kill them second one.
The 2nd proc of frenzy ought to go off right after you pick up your 2nd drop, which kills you and lets the brains reload to continue farming. Do this until you have the gems you want.
If frenzy procs too fast and kills you, just put on a resistance rune and some frenzy resist gear.
They preach about their gods and blood, the names are out there - like Chapel of Oeden - but the regular peasant folk don't know they're cosmic horrors. The Church isn't preaching about 'ye divine tentacles'. At the end of the day, it's a front of blood experimentation taken to zealous levels. They truly believe they can achieve divinity via the blood - that's what that hellish research hall is all about, trying to create something to commune with the Great Ones to further ascension, Willem's idea of evolution (although he went about it a different way, via eyes on the inside through knowledge rather than the more visceral and physical application of blood, or so I believe).
Everyone was at Byrgenwerth, they discovered the tomb of the gods and the old blood down, Laurence was in on it, too. By medium, I assume they mean the physical medium, the in-between between spooky space monsters and mundane human beings.
I'm looking to make a STR build since they seem to have the best weapon variety. already have ARC and BLT chars. what's the ideal 2nd stat for STR builds generally, ARC or SKL? I'm looking for big weapon variety and big damage.
aiming for BL98 if that helps
I really hope it was him.
Definitely Skill to make it quality, you'll get the most out of things like Ludwigs, Kirk, and Church Pick, but the Wheel requires Arcane, as well as Tonitrus.
If you want to make use of Tonitrus and Wheel, the arcane. If you just want big and pure physical damage, then add Skill instead.
>tfw my kirkhammer will never get S rating from upgrading
why u do this from
"holy medium' refers to the blood itself. It's just an innuendo because "we found some musty old blood with crazy magic shit in a cave" doesn't sound as pretty as "we discovered a holy medium"
Well, i just wanted to know if someone wanted to kill the boss with me to get some Vermin/Echoes/whatever.
>I think the 'holy medium' was the Host of the Beast Blood.
What host? Beasts are a curse from the Great Ones, I believe.
Yeah, the old blood is the medium, it's what Byrgenwerth found in the labyrinths. May or may not be Great One blood. Regardless, it's the middle ground between us and them. They call it a 'holy' medium because it's a Church, it just sounds good.
Eyes have some pretty good detail. They look pretty nice.
Also post Hunters I guess.
How big damage difference between blunt Kirk and 27% Kirk? Is it worth it? I don't like idea of killing one-handed moveset
Let's not resort to name calling here, especially not that.
Okay, so, host of the beast blood, why isn't is mentioned anywhere else? Where does it fit? Beasts aren't a good thing, they don't want beasts.
>not good for pvp
The "Old Blood" was jacked out of some big horrific beast and used because it has positive effects, like treating incurable illness and being an addictive opium substitute. It turning people into beasts is just an unfortunate side effect of blood use but the 'beast scourge' is never normally some kind of apocalyptic pandemic that destroys whole towns. A few people now and again go all beasty and the public at large picks a night to shut all the doors go 'cleanse the streets' to keep the beast population under control.
The whole thing exploded because of the Mensis ritual. It's not like people using the blood had any idea that one day some group of crazy scholars would summon the moon and turn every blood user into a monster.
you could got 15 or 18 arc from a cruel fate start and use it if you wanted
arc just scales up its projectile/bullet consumption attacks mostly
ideally you do want 50/25 str/skl no matter what though
from there you can even use skl leaning quality weapons if you put heavy abyssals in them
church pick with str abyssals on a 50/25 actually has 6 higher AR than a church pick on a 25/50 with 27.2% gems (but skl still wins out when you put thrust gems on it by a pretty wide margin)
the point being, you will get the most utility and weapon variety with 50/25
>no Old hunter mode that gives you black smoke that emanates off of you when you move
>gives you red eyes and makes you a bit taller
>your grunts sound the more deep and dark
>roar gesture makes you say "MORE BLOOD"
>you automatically have poise but your attacks take longer and do more damage
>old hunter weapons have charge attack r1s
Okay, so I'm with you here, but why would the Mensis ritual have an effect then, if not for the Beast blood having a connection to the Great Ones? Was the Beast Host a Pthumerian who got Great One blood or something.
thanks for the info. in that case, I'm assuming 50vit as usual, which doesn't leave room for much END. how much would you recommend? assuming military vet, i'd only have 10 end in that case
>game gives you a wedding ring
>can't propose to Ebrietas
FUCK THIS GAME
you could squeeze by on 10 end and a %20 rune
I generally don't dip below 15 though unless I'm using a weapon that doesn't really need it like chikage
since it's a quality build, I would recommend either 15, 18 or 22 end
given the damage stat investment of the build, you should probably stop anywhere between BL105 and BL116
Dude, what? Laurence was one of the people who found the old blood and became a Cleric Beast after a while. He was a human who changed into a beast. Via blood. Can't have been a beast already.
this is what I would go for, personally
with 18 arc you can use augur, which is worth it if your tricked weapons tend to be 2 handed like moonlight
on top of that, arc has synergy with moonlight anyway
This is actually a great idea.
Why the fuck not do this? You could charge the middle R1 of any weapons combo to do neat shit
Charge jumping attacks even, but you have to hold the up + r2 input for the duration
Also unrelated, but how come bloodtinge in this game is so shit for weapon variety?
You can convert any pure physical weapon into fire, bolt etc, why not convert into blood?
Then a bloodtinge build could use shit like blood saw spear if they so wanted
>Alfred mentions the Holy Medium being in the main cathedral
>That big fuckoff skull right on that big fuckoff altar
>Touching the skull gives a flashback to Laurence chatting with Willem
>Laurence's human skull is found in the Nightmare version of that room in the Old Hunter's DLC
>Laurence himself is chilling out on the altar, too, as a giant fuckoff beast
Is /bbg/ seriously this bad at putting two and two together?
No, there is none.
Which is why BL145 should be the meta as it let's quality builds match up to S scale single stat builds
Any retard who says "but at BL145 someone could have like 99 STR and SKILL and have a 2shot ludwigs" that person would have no vitality or endurance and die anyway
Not the guy you are replying to but what makes the saif so good?
It has really good L1s, good range and amazing mobility but that's about it. The untricked moveset is kinda clunky.
>Blood Rakuyo and Saif
>Rakuyo/Saif users with the ability to use Evelyn
Please no, they already can hit you from far beyond their weapon's reach, they don't need their guns to be lethal too.
The speed of it's tricked form is why it's so good. You can play around with it's tricked and untricked form but the best part about it is it's ability to chain attack someone to death.
Blunt damage is shithouse on most of the games foes, ludwigs in practice does like 150 less AR than it says it does on pretty much everything, even less on players
It's still not even OP at 1k native AR. I've been there and tried it. Any other weapon still out dps's it easily
But your logic is flawed.
>find old blood in labyrinth
>laurence is the host aomehow
How does that even work unless they found it first then put it into him and he became a beast, a Cleric Beast, which he is, and not the Bloodletting Beast?
Laurence was one of the people who found the holy medium. Did he find it and just jam it in his leg or something? The problem is he becomes a Cleric Beast, not Bloodletting Beast. There's something not fitting in right.
All saws have STR tier weapon damage with good gem setup. Amy arm has 680AR? Well muh saif too :^
All of them are FAST
Transformation attack has ridiculous damage, phantom range and speed
Saif R1 has big phantom range. It's so fast that most of time you can't react. Only luck based parry.
R1 is combo starter. Three hit combos with ridiculous damage
Low stamina consuming
>host waiting for a duel
>dis gonna be a good fight
>chugs 20 vials
I wish ARC did more than 300 parry dmg.
it's not really possible if you want to use moonlight
you could just barely squeeze down to BL98 if you just went 50/25, but having base stamina on a quality build would kind of suck, at least for pvp
I don't really pay attention to BL98 because it's kind of an obscure meta. I have a few 98s but most of my builds end up being around 105 and I've been fine with that. It's not like 148 can't invade 98 anyway and if you did end up invading a BL150, they would most likely be a shitter anyway and therefore an ez kill.
Who else here /eustace/ build? Going tons of health and strength to make a perfect ME MALLET build with kirkhammer and my character looks like eustace
Because it takes its inspiration material seriously, some of its inspo material is gothic novels, some of it is old seinen mangas, and both have tons of nice girls in them.
But generally I think it's because the devs cared about making interesting characters more than about reaching a target demographic.
They aren't kawaii uguu, they aren't complete sluts, they aren't stronk womyns, they aren't cheap rehashes of other vidya girls, they're just nice or cool girls, and their character design isn't over-the-top bullshit gothic fashion as seen by clueless japs, it's believable, characterful and elegant.
I'm curious because someone wants to fight me but I can't use meme weapons and I don't know what that would mean
so far it just means everything that isn't seen that often regardless of viability
The axe isn't really an arcane weapon. It's much, much better for strength. At +10 it does 196 damage, it has a good, wide swing on the L2, it has nice reach and regain. Plus the charged R2 knocks down and staggers a lot of enemies.
If you're going for an arcane build, Cane and Saw Spear are better weapons to choose.
m8, any of the quality scaling weapons make good arcane weapons
even beast cutter is surprisingly good on arcane
axe has the potential to be especially good because of it's rally combined with the fact that bolt abyssals are the only way to get a double stacked secondary, and that secondary can be rally
Crowsteel is the sexiest. But then again he doesn't move like you. His strides are measured and elegant, he doesn't run around, jerk about and spin on himself for no reason. He isn't hunched like a big nerd, he has proper posture. And he's more lithe than you.
Yes I'm totally gay for Crowsteel but in a non-sexual way.
Would anyone mind helping my new arcane char on Amelia? Pw: bbg123
At the CW lamp.
It's a nice design, with a nice girl on it, but man, it's a vidya shirt.
Even flame shirts are more effay than that (I mean literally, Givenchy made several flame shirt designs).
I mean, it does really good damage overall, I think? regardless of which type, I can get it to around 325 minimum. The problem is that it looks great on paper and against mobs, but on some bosses like bloodletting beast (normal, not headless), I don't do enough until i inevitably bite it
I suppose that faster weapons, such as the saw spear, would be good for this stuff, but I already used up one bloodrock on the axe
blood rocks are ez
don't worry about it
after farming up cold abyssals, bolt abyssals and 27.2% elementals, you'll have enough blood rocks and chunks to upgrade like 7 weapons fully
Against mobs, with those wide, heavy slashes, great. Against bosses, not so great, at least for me. I've found speed always helps me more than anything else, so I'd find a speedier weapon for bosses and upgrade it as best as you can. There's another blood rock in the DLC, plus chalice dungeons and you can buy them for 60 Insight if you really need it.
Ever since I saw the posterboy Hunter I've been all over his outfit
Crowsteel is surely nice but I cannot stand the goddamn wig or the short-talied armor
If Micolish wakes up...and he's a mummy aka dead
And I'm still asleep...
Then who was Nightmare?
Please don't; I don't wanna see my waifu end up in cringe threads because of your poor fashion sense.
I dunno, the good hunter dresses nice but he reeks of the Assassin's Creed dude.
Dreams/Nightmares aren't literally that. They're other dimensions one can get to via dreaming, it's a cue taken from H.P. Lovecraft's Dream stories, which are very fantastical, but you get to the Dreamlands via sleep. You can bi-locate with this stuff, be asleep here and awake there.
I believe Micolash's Jap name is 'Overseer of the Nightmare'. Host you can take as the host of the party. Micolash can leave, but the party will continue. basically, Micolash sort of just managed the place and used it to contact the Great Ones (I think).
i love Asscreed except the games after revelations
MP = Kos > Orphan > Nurse > Ebi-chan > Amy
Phase 2 he's weak to bolt. Phase 1 he has no weakness.
The additional damage is negligible anyway. You get like 10 more damage, unless I didn't know bolt and fire scaled with arcane.
Literally get behind it and bait the jump and Stab it in the face when it lands. Third phase is easiest because it can't do its autism flail when you're behind it and can only jump or stomp
I got a few questions sinceI just bought the DLC
- What's a good level or how far I should get into the main quest before going to the DLC part ?
- This was sitting right in my PS4 since I didn't have to download anything, right ?
- What's the best non-DLC skill based weapon. I'm fucking tired of the Saw-spear ?
>not bl 43
Might aswell you fucking scrub
Doesn't anyone find it strange that an inanimate creature was chosen as a medium between blood echoes and you?Think about it: there's something off about that doll, unlike every other girl, she isn't demented or bloodthirsty, she actually helps you all along, isn't that weird? Why wouldn't Gehrman do it? What connection to blood (which is descended from the Great Ones) does the doll have that Gehrman doesn't? I think it's pretty obvious that Gehrman has lost all empathy, and therefore is unable to perform that kind of magic no matter how powerful he is. He simply doesn't care about you or anything else for that matter. That's because he's human, just like every girl who tries to kill you or has a history of sin, whereas the doll has none of that, precisely because she's not human, just like the Great Ones aren't human. It's obvious that, no matter how related to Maria she may be, she doesn't react the way a real human would: she's never afraid, and always keeps her calm even when emotionally shaken.
Moreover, what do we know about the Great Ones? We know that they're compassionate, and don't choose their agents at random. If Gehrman has a role to fulfill, it can only be due to his own experience and insight; but if the Great Ones were to appoint a magical medium for new hunters it would necessarily have to share their own characteristics and attitude, but in a more humanly relatable way (since the Great Ones are insane, they can't communicate their intents properly). The doll is this being: she has a relationship to blood echoes that can only be explained by the meddling of the Great Ones and can effectively serve as their emissary by being to you what the Great Ones are supposed to be to humanity, but in a saner way. It's not Gehrman who could have given her this ability because he would do it himself if he could.
For all those reasons I think the doll actually uses
the power of loveto channel blood echoes.
>the main bad guy causing all the weird shit to happen is a literal "he actually did it the madman" guy with a cage on his head to talk to ayyliums
>also he is a pushover in a fight
We are thinking on the basest of planes, what we need are memes.
Saw Spear, Saw Cleaver, or Saif for Arcane builds?
Saif needs points in Skill, but is it better than the previous 2? I figured I will be using the tricked form which is just saw spear and saw cleaver untricked
>What's a good level or how far I should get into the main quest before going to the DLC part ?
~60 if you're confident. 70+ if you're not too brave
>What's the best non-DLC skill based weapon. I'm fucking tired of the Saw-spear ?
From non-DLC, your options are the Cane, the Reitapallasch if you're also going with BLT and the Blade of Mercy (probably the best one for pure Skill sans DLC weapons)
You're at a good place to start the DLC just after finishing up mensis, so maybe 60s
>good skill weapon
I was going to say saw spear because even if it's better on a str quality build it's still good for skill.
Other than that, there's cane, burial blade, BoM, reiter, and riflespear if you really want to try it. Bear in mind you get really
funskill weapons pretty early on in the DLC. One of them before the first boss.
Do you think this is an ok stat spread for someone who wants to use HMLS/wheel and arcane tools? I originally had 40 VIT, 30 SKL, and 25 ARC, but I decided to just drop 5 points in vit to help my tools scale a bit better since I am gonna get the best clockwise metamorphisis rune anyway.
Also, I started as cruel fate since I am not going to use BLT at all.
what are you even talking about son, i legit think you're confused
ignore the fact that its a hentai link
better extended dash attack but less damage
all runes are passive/defensive, you're analogy with water isn't related
water is associated to runes because humans need eyes/sounds in the brain to become aliens
so, a lot of runes are water/alien related
you're not supposed to be having fun
you're supposed to hate it and want to go back to DS2
stop liking the pvp, come back to DS2 it's got much bigger numbers of everything
come on guys please enough is enough
HOLY SHIT I GOT LIKE FIFTY INSIGHT RIGHT NOW
"This transcription of the Great Ones' inhuman voices ripples like a watery reflection. This rune means "Lake," and those who memorise it enjoy xyz.
Great volumes of water serve as a bulwark guarding sleep, and an auger of the Eldritch Truth.
Overcome this hindrance, and seek what is yours".
Yes and no
>35 vit past BL60
>doesn't reach the second softcap on any scaling stat
>being matched up with 150s using that build
>wants to use arc tools with 30 vit
>not having 1766 hp when invading
its like you dont want wreck shitters
A Byrgenworth scholar who left to found the school of Men's is to communicate with the great ones. They managed to make contact with Mergo as well as summoning a bunch of Amygdala, which is why the world is so fucked after after you kill Rom and the veil is dropped, but were all killed and trapped in Mergo's nightmare.
Was just putting it out there in case anyone had forgotten. Also, a large chunk of the Caryll Runes aren't explicitly related to the Great Ones, either.
Metamorphosis, Blood Rapture, Beast, etc etc are all unrelated to Great Ones. Also, you're forgetting that there are in fact offensive runes - Beast, Clawmark and arguably anything that gives your viscerals an additional effect.
And this is why lucy is a problem.
20 end is overkill. Anything you should want to do with 20 end can be done with 15, and anything done there can be done at base end by playing a little smarter.
I tried everything with this faggot but he won't open his fucking mouth.
Or at least give me something. That fag is useless as fuck. Tell me one thing he did that was relevant.
It kind of is. It looks all clumsy and harmless. It's just that it's covered in trypophobia-inducing textures but aside basically it looks cute, it even has flowers on its back.
Nothing wrong with making bad investments, family member.
The difference between 12 and 20 end isn't even 20 stamina.
You're saying you contribute 90% of your wins to being able to dash about twice more or set off one more R1 before going into negative stamina?
It's beautiful anon.
>The Hunter's face.
I need to know what the text says now though.
I hope someone takes this idea and makes a comic out of it.
Okay I allocated my stats a bit differently. I took away from ARC and SKL since they didn't add much to my HMLS and wheel anyway and put them into VIT and STR. I feel the 40 VIT is kinda useless since 15% metamorphosis runes exist.
This looks so American, is this made by a weeb?
Someone translate this please.
Is a 22.3 ATK UP with ATK vs beast down -10.9% any good or can I get better from the brains?
The actual sad part is I'm a long time dark souls player. My build just sucks dick because I didn't know what bloodtinge did. And I suck at the game aswell. Got about 8 from soft titles so i'm pretty much a from drone
The old blood comes from somewhere in the labyrinth. Presumably somewhere related to Ebrietas since Alfred says the source of the blood is venerated in the cathedral. Or maybe some other great one and the choir just used Ebrietas as the source later on.
Kin down is generally preferred because of how few kin there are but yeah, that's fine.
I play at 78. You don't really get fucked by 98s. 120s aren't much worse either. Natural defense isn't as much of a problem as people make it out to be. The real disadvantage is your innate health penalty.
Do we ever meet or hear anything of Djura's third companion? He had 3, if you choose to believe the Gatling Gun's description. We meet one in Old Yharnam, and the other we kill for the Gatling Gun. What of the third?
>summon NPC for Chalice boss
>enter boss arena
>summon starts running back toward the entrance, trapping me against the fog gate
>doesn't let me go until we get hit by the boss
>the NPC is now standing OUTSIDE THE FOG GATE
>never enters again
I got off with a sliver of health once, somewhere close to 5hp, this was with 50 vit too. It was in the Defiled chalice though.
Even with 50 vit, enemies can 1 shot you though. Especially on NG+ and NG++
I've survived the defiled hotdog charge plenty of times on my arc build, and he has 41 vit. To be fair though, he wears the Charred Garb, so he has some sick fire resist.
Reminder that the Charred Hunter Set is missing a headpiece because it was the first armour they made for the game and the staple when it was Project Beast. They turned what used to be it's headpiece into both a white version for Djura's cap and the Hunter set headpiece
I'm still mad you can't get the black version. It'd be awesome fashion
Also note the sword looks like some kind of an estoc thing
So I'm picking up a copy of Bloodborne some time this or next week, and I have a few quesitons.
Is there a community agreed level cap for PvP like the was in Demon/Dark Souls?
If so, is it alright to ignore it on your first character and level as much as you want, focusing on the game?
Are there weapons and/or builds that are absolute garbage to use that I should steer clear of?
Are there scub tier weapons I should avoid IE Drake Sword from Dark Souls 1?
>Dark Souls 3 has an armour set that is more high teir bloodborne fashion than anything actually in bloodborne
>No masks or masquerade type stuff at all in bloodborne
>Any level from 43 to 150 works as far PvP goes. Levels don't matter in PvE and co-op due to the password system, but you will be scaled down to the host's level if you're out of their summoning range.
>Yes, that's fine.
>No weapon is garbage in this game. ARC/BLT hybrids are the only mediocre setups.
>Again, all weapons are good. Use whichever one suits your playstyle the most.
>when the invader heals and you visceral them next time they try
Level to 145 and stop there for your first runthrough. Make that build a quality and use it as a testbed to try out everything in the game.
Then you can go forth after that making specialized optimised 80-125 builds
Boom Hammer is the most fun weapon I've used in a longass time.
>Exploding shit and sending it flying
Just wish I could roar like the old hunters do.
