Does anyone know when CBT 2 is?

I've really been craving to play some MMO and Black desert looks nice. Is there an archer class and is it satisfying to play as one or do you just feel like a machinegun spitting out arrows? I have not been paying that much attention to the classes and such so I don't really know what to expect.

serious question time, but what's the appeal to this game?

my last experience with a sandbox game was Age of Wushu in the /aowg/ and there was so many awesome war stories of guild battles, with one of them I was involved in where we got jailed in-game for 3 hours with the opposing guild's leader as we mocked him and laughed at him.

Yet with this game I scroll down and I don't see any fun stories and it's mostly just screenshots of beautiful landscapes and beautiful characters, but that's it.

What's the appeal to this game? are there any fun times to be had but you guys are keeping it to yourselves or something? I like how beautiful this game is and some of the cool webms I see posted, but other than that I don't see much talked about in terms of guild battles or random fun stuff to do with the group.

Levels are irrelevant if you don't do combat, but it certainly can make getting contribution points easier (but it is already easy enough and generally doesn't necessitate combat and is more about getting around the world).
Craft at level 5 if you want. Just pump out workers as soon as you can and get them leveled up as soon as you start Velia, Heidel, Calpheon, etc. and have 5 energy to burn on them.

Of course, what workers gather will change based on how worthwhile processing is after the energy changes. You may ignore it entirely and just go another route that doesn't use any energy, which is what we're being directed to unless they change far more than just energy.

In conclusion, solely running caravans is not Jew enough.

Mainly it's because all the big korean guilds have their foot pretty firmly in the door regarding the node conquest and whatnot, with the amount of active players we've got on KR at the moment it's unlikely we'd be able to sustain ourselves if we tried to take a node.
Personally I'd love to be getting into that side of things but you need to gear yourself up to a respectable pvp level as well and that takes a fair bit as well. I'm sure once NA/EU rolls out and the early conquest playing fields are a little more even you'll see a lot more of what you're after. Once the west gets Valencia there's jails in the desert too, although I'm not sure how they really work.

Seems to be quite a few english refugees running about, I'd say about a fifth of the players I see have english names but most keep to themselves.
KR guild hit 22 people earlier today, and I think a few people plan to either stick around or come back to KR once EU/NA hits since they'll be behind content wise for a while still.

I love that they change up the music from time to time and add new variations of the old themes to the game.

I feel the KR guild needs another little guild like us to be our rivals so there's a chance to get some pvp happening on the small scale.
As I said though, most of the things you're looking for would be posted about a lot more if some of the people here were able to get involved in the larger scale pvp scenarios and node battles.

yeah I used to hang with YuWanSumDings when we did some jobs and it was great.

I wish the game didn't go full jew and I wish the freemium model didnt exist the way it did (forcing you to stay logged in to cultivate your EXP) otherwise I think most of us would have stayed for the long run because it was a truly sandbox experience unlike any other.
