9.6+ emuNAND on N3DS incoming soon

So I'm following this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-transfer-emunand-to-another-sd-card-working-on-new3ds.383684/ Guide and when i get to the part where i need to edit the partition on the new card i run into trouble.

What happened is i tried 3 different programs, which only one of which even recognized my SD card. Then that program wouldn't even display an option to move/resize the partition on the SD card.

So my question is where did i go wrong? I made a disk image of my old SD card and restored it to the new one, everything was formatted to FAT32, and i'm just not sure what went wrong.

Any ideas?

What guide is it recommended to follow from this point on to 1.- make emuNAND 2.- upgrade emuNAND only? How are eg.: AC:NL saves affected?

(Also, I'm using oothax. Can I do menuhax without losing access to custom themes at this point?)

Last night I downloaded emnand 10.3 and sysnand 9.2. Everything went well but an hour later I wasn't able to access my emunand.

It would go straight to my sysNAND. I reinstalled menuhax using the browser and QR code, and now it just goes straight into homebrew launcher. How do I get back into emuNAND?

alright guys, trying to get BigBlueMenu installed on emuNAND. I've grabbed multiple cias (even made my own) but none of them will install.
Installing via SD or by network (socketpunch) both give the same error (see pic). I have a cia of devmenu installed but it also fails to import the cia.

What do? I just want to install Streetpass Games..

For those of you wondering about FTP file transfer speeds, I think the problem is the app(s), not the system itself. Pretty sure the 3DS and n3DS are capable of far more than the 5mbps that I've found typical of my file transfers.

I had DS carts working on 2 different O3DS systems on 10.3 emunands. But they weren't downgraded.

Say what you like about the vita but the console itself was probably the best handheld platform construction wise so far.
The buttons felt great and responsive, the D-pad was superb and it enabled a good size screen and a large amount of bunk in the trunk for a battery.

This part is safe, there cant go anything wrong with that. The only possible problem will be the new 3DS.
So to be clear: When you get your new 3ds: Check out if downgrade is still possible:
If it is: update new 3ds -> system transfer old 3ds emunand to new 3ds-> downgrade.
If not, I think its better to give up your NNID if the new 3ds is on an exploitable fw.

Like I said: This is the only solution I know of and since other people didnt come with another I assume its the only one.

So I was about to put the cia for Bravely Default onto my SD to install on my n3DS, but then I realized that Fat32 cards won't allow files larger than 4 GB.
Is there a workaround for this? I know that on the Wii you can split a wbfs file into smaller files (wbfs1, wbfs2, etc) in order to get the game working on Fat32. Is there anything similar for the 3DS?

If it overwrites everything: cant say. But after a system transfer the recieving 3ds has your nnid and friendlist.

so i am that guy who can't get in to sliderhax since yesterday and has tried with every possible way i read from many sources. what i realized just now though that some (perhaps most) failed people got the yellow screen and others even got to the supposedly last stage of grey screen then crash. i didn't get any of that though, it just freeze for 1-2 second then straight to the home menu with the error notification. the best i ever got (only once) is just the slider page freezing indefinitely (i just restart after 10 minutes or so). can anybody tell me something from this?

fw is 9.2.0-20U (downgraded from 10.3), got ironfall but no idea if should use it and how.

also is it still possible to update back to 10.3 and re-downgrade to other fw that don't need to use sliderhax(like 6.4 below in the imgur guide)?

Persona Q is pretty fun from what I've played, it's basically just a dungeon crawler but with large set labyrinths with 4 floors (at least in dungeon 1) instead of random smaller floors that extend to infinity like 3/4. In RX tools, after I exit system settings I get kicked back to sysnand, and when i load up emunand all my games are wrapped again.
Is there a fix for this or is it just a feature?
