Haven't played civ5 in a year and thinking of starting a new game.

Usually go ynaemp giant, but will go for a generated map now instead.

Haven't looked into mods much, but I think I'll try some. Got a fish mod tech which just added one step on the top end, +1 food from fishes building iirc, but I never played with it.

Haven't played in a while but I like the No Quitters mod. Major upgrades and tweaks to the social policies and whatnot, the general idea is to provide more options on starting up, hence the "no quitters".
Oh, one of my favorite parts; Granaries and Mints now account for Buffalo and Copper like they probably should.
Just be warned, they did make some weird Civ-related changes. No Venice anymore, Ottomans have a new ability, and A-bombs have been removed entirely in favor of Missiles.

I am getting some strange behaviour with AI's diplomacy in CiV.
I had a declaration of friendship with the Celts who invited me to join a war against Austria. Since I was already planning on attacking them I accepted and rushed to the capital. I then proceeded to scoop the last remaining cities.
After that I receive a message from the Celts that says they are breaking the DoF with me.
Also I had two other nations offering me resources but when I clicked tried to accept the offering they kinda had a second thought and insulted me.
Is this normal behaviour? I am using the community balance mod

Most AoE 2 campaigns are solved with 2 simple things

1) Keep your units alive
2) Remember to build a lot of shit and pump out units

The harder ones usually have both of these elements with very limited resources or time limit.
