Traffic comes and goes.
There's no inherent value to getting more traffic really.
This thread dies every night except night before yesterday when I was here to deliberately keep it alive this general is fucking DEAD as shit I keep trying to talk about EL as well and hardly anyone responds eveere
Haven't played civ5 in a year and thinking of starting a new game.
Usually go ynaemp giant, but will go for a generated map now instead.
Haven't looked into mods much, but I think I'll try some. Got a fish mod tech which just added one step on the top end, +1 food from fishes building iirc, but I never played with it.
What mods do you use?
>rush to jump tech
>pomf=3 into new system
not sure if to turn 360 degrees and walk away
accidentally posted in /gsg/ without realizing that it's not designated for aurora
hello fellow conventional starter
go check out dat shit
sowjetsky space program is success, geological surveillance satellite delivered
any language can be used to do anything, it's just that for an OSS project I would've expected them to use literally anything else, especially to get the help of competent programmers who use linux.
>Playing England on Islands with Raging Barbarians
>quickly becoming world police protecting CSs from pirate ships, conquer the ones with consistently annoying requests
>All is going well, rapidly spreading across the ocean gaining city state approval
>suddenly, fucking Suleiman
>I've been taking his CSs, he's mad
>inspect his capital, of course there's no ships guarding it
>gather up my 9 best SotLs (upgraded for siege), put on song related http://youtu.be/tNUGPhEKUBs
>mfw initiating Buster Call in the name of TRUE JUSTICE
Haven't played in a while but I like the No Quitters mod. Major upgrades and tweaks to the social policies and whatnot, the general idea is to provide more options on starting up, hence the "no quitters".
Oh, one of my favorite parts; Granaries and Mints now account for Buffalo and Copper like they probably should.
Just be warned, they did make some weird Civ-related changes. No Venice anymore, Ottomans have a new ability, and A-bombs have been removed entirely in favor of Missiles.
This fucking hard difficulty in EL is some serious shit. Seems the difficulty ramps up WAY steeper in this game than civ 5. I'm not even era 4 yet and someone just started their victory quest. Seems it's back to normal for me until I have a better grasp of this game. So annoying though, normal seemed pretty boring. Someone on /r/endlesslegend (yes I went to browse it because you fucks never respond here and I want to learn this game) wrote:
>My recommendation for practicing is to play on a difficulty you can win, but always try to figure out how to make your wins faster. Cruise control is the wrong metaphor, it's more like practice laps on a racetrack.
Guess that's a good way of looking at it?
Truly a peaceful, knowledge-seeking people.
They practice the american version of peace
Don't get me wrong, it all makes sense from a general balance perspective.
Actually, that makes me appreciate the mod a lot more, its not one of those goofy "start with X goofy OP thing because fuck the AI" mods.
Anyone else playing DotE?
Walk softly and carry a big
>Should have invited /domg/
I'm more hyped for pic related than Dominions.
Initiating emergency roll-chart dump.
GET HYPE, new devblog
No. It's worse if you mean netcode and desync problems.
If this doesn't save it then nothing will.
I am getting some strange behaviour with AI's diplomacy in CiV.
I had a declaration of friendship with the Celts who invited me to join a war against Austria. Since I was already planning on attacking them I accepted and rushed to the capital. I then proceeded to scoop the last remaining cities.
After that I receive a message from the Celts that says they are breaking the DoF with me.
Also I had two other nations offering me resources but when I clicked tried to accept the offering they kinda had a second thought and insulted me.
Is this normal behaviour? I am using the community balance mod
Dust rush. He who controls the Dust, controls the universe.
Place your bets
Most AoE 2 campaigns are solved with 2 simple things
1) Keep your units alive
2) Remember to build a lot of shit and pump out units
The harder ones usually have both of these elements with very limited resources or time limit.
