the best build uses them as a generator and for arcane dynamo and regeneration. It also uses delsere's magnum opus and arcane orb with arcane orbit rune. You basically spam blades and use arcane orbit when you get 5 dynamo stacks.

in s3 the power creeped up and we started running higher greater rifts fast which leads to more shards and drops
in s4 they normalized some of the drop rates, there are still rare drops but it should be a bit more balanced across the board and once again the power creeped up

s5 might be the biggest power boost ever so all that increases and you can get something like 400 shards for a quick greater? also should have way more drops at the end of each one

The way it works on PC is whoever makes the game determines the monster level. If you're a lot higher than he is have him make the game and you join it. Everything will be his level and you can speed him through it.

In solo all classes are decently balanced, with monks being the weakest.
If you are looking to play in groups support barb will get you into any group. Wiz got crazy AoE and dh got crazy single target dmg.

But hopefully some of the theory crafters will come up with some sick builds during the season and mix up the meta even more.

I just bought Diablo III for the PS4, despite already having it on the PC.
