Threadly reminder that beatrix is used goods
Remember a better waifu is one you took time to raise.
Guild info copypasted from last thread with the newest guild added.
Have fun with it
Lumiere (White star)
Oldest guild filled mostly with people that have played since the english annoucement, has qualified for guild wars twice.
Lumiere (Black star)
Second guild not too behind the first one, needs a small push and will definitely qualify next time.
Third guild made of mostly fresh people that are getting stronger.
Little girls (In moonrunes)
Fourth guild in the same situation as the above one.
Newest guild with tons of free spots for people
If you're interested in joining any of these guilds, drop by in the granblue IRC at #lumiere2 for more information and guild coordination.
I think the guildmaster isnt around anymore so I replaced it with the new guild.
If anyone needs it, its here
Fifth guild created by a veteran player for himself but opening it to EU players that wish to join. Both assault times are for people on EU timezones while the above four have one NA and one EU assault time.
>gacha gods will never give you esports qts
I did and I got kicked.
I wasn't inactive and participated in GW so I think the leader kicked me because he was just cleaning out and I left my main team on my scrub team.
Or maybe he was onto me being a baka gaijin but I will never know the real reason because I literally did nothing wrong.
I'd go to Sarasa's home if you know what I mean.
You missed the midget event by about a week. Has a 50% water summon. Next best would be Leviathon summon, which you want to get 4 of for your magna pool. Other than that just hope for another event with a water summon or start rolling gems in the gacha during summon time up, but I'd not recommend that unless you're desperate.
Grind magnas and hope for ATK drops.
Hope to roll baha and get plenty of supp bahas
My dark pool would still be so garbo without all these cerb daggers and vampy dupes to fill it out and that's after I spammed Celeste like a mad man on half bp & host every day.
Because their esports is literally all cute girls as well as having the benefit of never being resisted so they make for a great main team if you can get past the shit early game.
I need mats to limit break Altair/Silva (beyond lv40), however I'm only rank 21 and am thus incapable of entering the extreme dungeons to farm them. Is it possible to obtain these mats elsewhere at or around my current rank?
Farm the tier 1 material in these low level daily dungeons, then exchange them for higher tier ones in Seirokarte's shop.
Will take a while before you can lb them but you have to deal with that at low rank.
This is my current
autodark pool. I have 4 cerb daggers from her event, should I fuse them together or use them separately?
Got a question on bahamut dagger. Is the passive att 30% boost only attainable on ssrs10? I've got the sr at lvl1 for now, so does this mean it doesn't have any passive skill?
I guess Lady Grey would be the best pick for me to complete the dark team or is there any other character that would significantly buff an element? Guys need not apply.
Also kind of torn whether I should get axe, sword or dagger first. Dark is my main element and axe would be great for Naru/Vampy but useless for any other teams and sword doesn't give as much damage, dagger would benefit all my other teams.
You don't need to.
On element SRs are normally more useful than off element SSRs besides a handful of supports who you don't pick for their own damage anyway.
Might as well just go full grande and use your best SSRs if your complaining about not being able to fill a team with on element units.
How difficult is the Siete fight? Will I have to build a fire pool for him? I can take most extreme magnas down to 3/4 HP with my light team if debuffs land, and 1/2 HP if not. Are you able to elixir during the fight?
GW playable event chars: Lina and Naga, no Gauri (guess he's portrait only)
GW event weapon is the sword of light, hopefully a Light Unknown ATK weapon.
Actually the element of GW is not mentioned but every nip is expecting it's dark, so whatever.
No, Halloween was Dark from the previous rotation. Dark was the last element from the previous rotation but they replaced it with Wind (which was the first element of the current rotation) so to match Dark with halloween.
What are these used for? mlb?
also, how do you summon qts like Dark angel?
>SR weapon, limit breaked with 1300+ ATK
>ougi deals 3 hits. shit damage
>SSR gacha weapon, 1200+ ATK
>ougi deals several hits, amazing damage
Does the weapon damage matter, or it is the same as long as you get it in your other slots aside from main equipped?
The only thing that matters for the main weapon is the ougi and element. You could throw weapons anywhere in the pool and your total attack power would be the same as long they're the exact same weapons.
Since mlb-ed and higher rarity weapons have better ougi, make them main.
Here is the compiled list of GW elements thus far:
June 2014: Dark 1
July 2014: Fire 1
August 2014: Wind 1
September 2014: Earth 1
October 2014: HALLOWEEN
November 2014: Water 1
December 2014: Light 1
January 2015: Dark 2
February 2015: /
March 2015: Fire 2
April 2015: Wind 2
May 2015: Water 2
June 2015: Earth 2
July 2015: /
August 2015: Light 2
September 2015: Wind 3
October 2015: HALLOWEEN
November 2015: Light 3
December 2015: Water 3
Rotation is fucked up by more dark than it should be, but if we consider halloween GW as special events that are not included in the GW element rotation, it makes sense.
So for the current rotation, whats missing: Dark, Fire, Earth. Considering Gourry's sword is also a drop/reward, chances the boss is dark are very very high.
newfag here. Is it ok if I sell 'all' these items? Are they valuable for anything besides buying guild items?
I just began this game, let me see if I got this right:
>1. Progress through story/free quests
Got a tip that I should stop after the 8th island and wait for 1/2 AP event
>2. Gather and level weapons/summon/PT and limit break them with mats.
Currently just limit breaking SR weapons from magna bosses.
>3. Once strong enough, proceed with magnas, gather Magna summons/weapons
If they drop that is.
>4. Get GW weapons
NEVER EVER F2P FOREVER
Things that you get from the GW event that you don't need to spend money for or even place in the Guild War. Just pure F2P grind. Even more important that you get them being F2P.
>tfw you're only done with 1/5th of the grind
Save me from this hell
Is there a way to make the dumb pop-up for help request to not appear and/or to speed up things so I can actually do one hit? I've been trying to join a Leviathan Magma raid for 20mins with no luck whatsoever. (I just missed the one 1min ago again as well)
Start a week and a half-ish ago. Already have Naru, so my plan of attack going forward after all this reading and lurking is:
-More magna for more dark weapons.
-I'm going to be fucked for awhile
-Cap out casino rewards
-Log into the other games
I only recently read up on co-op and I should be grinding that. Whats the run down for that? Anything special I should be aware of when joining? Am I just frantically joining anything that's open, whatever it may be?
Any other fine tuning or details I'm missing?
It's really just Naru at this point, the other two are earth that I'll be replacing with whatever dark units I can muster down the road.
Grinding coop doesn't really matter unless you can shit out a on of damage in a short time. Do your dailies tho. I would advise you to work on a different pool first, unless you get ridiculously lucky with celeste drops.
I got one axe after 3 months of farming
in my experience, if your party deal at least 10k damage per member, then v.hard is winnable but in extreme, only 1/5 of the boss hp can be cut. That do not count the mob before the boss, if there's any.
So I want to ask, what would the damage needed for extreme, atleast? do your damage increase for the higher your rank other than weapon pool?
Read the guide next time
Basically Lily's weapon is shit and should be replaced when I get more SSR weapons? It has HP passive and a +atk on god and birds.
Honestly, it probably depends on the bosses. Last month's Extreme Cerberus and Fenrir doesn't actually require too much, only the capacity to tank whatever the boss throw at you save for one ougi attack that you should prevent them from using at all cost.
Meanwhile Colow will nuke your whole team at 50% HP, while Ifrit will turn red and increase his ATK and double attack rate (I still have no idea about Sagittarius because I haven't touched his stage more than once since his stuff is shit), so they require a lot more damage to rush them down.
>finally get Cagliostro's heal
we useful now
0 lb SSR weapons a re basically garbage whether it's attack or hp, but that's when you have enough weapons. Full lb SR weapons (such as hard boss drops) are much better. Just level up their skills a bit then change later.
SR magna weapons (like Colo axe, Levi dagger/gun, ygg fists) are easier to level up their atk up skills and full lbs for better stats than 0 lb SSR. You don't need to level up SR skills to 10, just around 5 is enough.
>tfw I used a bunch of magna SRs as skill up fodder when I started when they could've filled my weapon pool
At least my main team is dark so I didn't gimp it's pool like my Water and Fire teams.
If you do have non-lb attack SSRs, you might as well invest more skill fodders there because that's what you're going to be replacing everything with. With enough skill levels, they'll pass by the full lb SRs.
Of course, you could keep spending skill fodders on a few full lb SRs too, it's not like those SSRs are going to come in fast.
I have 6m and all I've been grabbing recently has been Celeste anima and pots. I'll get back to doing bingo one of these days so that I can LB my buncles, but fuck it, it's depressing.
Why's getting MLB anat so important for wind? From what I see, most people set their MLB anats as their wind summon, so most of the time you'll be using 100% tiamat instead. Is it just for the active?
I just go for the pots and animas. My wind team is my worst next to earth so I pretty much just brought one Anat to fill out my support summon slot and called it a day.
Pretty much never drop below 2 million only doing bingo one day a week for like an hour or two.
Bingo is all-or-nothing gambling
Poker is safer choice, but good luck farming poker for her.
I see. So I already have 3 tia fists and 3 guns. I can buy two more weapons from the shop. Is it more efficient to LB them evenly, MLB 1 at a time, or does it not matter?
Just make sure you have enough for a buffer in case of bad luck.
Personally I barely go past 10 games without a win, but i also made my first million bingo win from only having 100k and haven't touched anything else but 100k bingo since so my luck is pretty good with it.
8M CELEBRATION FUCKING WHEN!?
Seriously if they delay this we'll get one at the same time as the anniversary, and instead of giving us even mroe free shit they'll just give us some actual shit and say "this is for 9M + anniversary"
Last celebration was like a week and a half ago. They really shouldn't give us a celebration considering the game reached 8m almost purely off reroll accounts in the new year legend fest. There is no other way the game reached 8m that fast
Indeed. You can get max LB Anat, many weapon/summon LB items, the weapons max LB (including a fire SSR), and don't have to touch the casino for a very long time even though you can still buy daily pots+anima's for a long time.
She is definitely not worth all that. She's good if you get a 2nd Super Bingo.
You seem to be forgetting the english option is getting close and closer so filthy gaijins come in constantly.
Also, week and half ago we got the ticket+gems, the actual celebration was when magnafest started
You've been able to sustain with 100k bingo? I won a super bingo from the 10k, and started playing 100k since people have been saying it's sustainable. I've already lost 3 mill. I win from time to time, but there's so many people in the room with bingo that the winnings are small. Bout to switch back to 10k.
Depends on you luck really. Few times in the past I just kept losing in 100k and have to switch back to poker everytime until I get enough to do 100k again. But just the other day I somehow managed to get 10m from 1m doing 100k and have been looming there ever since.
Yes, filthy gaijins come in and make 200 accounts. That's the same thing I said except the nips were also doing it. Week and a half ago magnafest was still ongoing, it's a bad idea to make "milestone" celebrations pretty much right after one another.
Got myself up to like 6 million for one Anat spamming 100k.
Now like I said I just buy out the magnas and recovery items and then when I start getting close to 2 million I play for awhile to get to 3-5 million depending on how long I want to play.
I've been doing it pretty much for a month now and never made a loss. I see people posting about losing so much on bingo but for me it's just been really consistent.
>FeMC sage outfit
Why do they always make her so slutty.
Well that basically makes a full water team. I still recommend Yoda if you plan on taking advantage of future tickets. If you're cashing in just this time, Altair/Silva is fine.
I agree with this anon.
Altair & Silva will give you an esports team that will last
until HLbut if you plan on buying more tickets in the future Yoda will do a lot more for you now.
But that'd also mean you're potentially using three tickets on water units. Also skipping Yoda will make the game more fun.
HE. Ogre for some cheese builds
Though I feel like Dark Fencer can go with everything anyway. What class do esports Dark and Water teams use?
ult sounds better than ougi
come at me
Sword master is actually better for Earth if you have a good main weapon sword.
Dark is good with Sword Master, WM, DF or SS.
Water is really OP with SS because of muh dagger arsenal and the fact soul pilfer makes Altair's debuff hit reliably so you can use rage 3 as EX for more buff stack bullshit.
Thanks anons, I'll stick with her and grab Altair and Silva. Would pref spending future tickets on other elements instead of going for three waters.
It's pretty autopilot.
Only thing you need to learn about is enemy ougi management and using your slow appropriately rather than just spamming it whenever the enemy has a charge.
Surprise tickets are great for completing a team since it's extremely difficult to roll for a specific character. You'll generally be able to build new teams as you pull from legend fest.
5-6 maxed chev gun is huge, and GS has a reliable ougi gen with Trine, so your MC won't lag behind unlike most classes that aren't SS or WM.
GS mechanics also works well with the bruteforce style for light, although the lack of tank or proper healer makes that setup unlikely for HL.
They frequently clear out inactives or reroll accounts so i assume they will after they get their final countdown of active ids.
Since it's too close, they skip it for the 9m mark.
Anyway, it's the same for me. I played this long enough to know that they frequently give freebies for no reason at all.
I assume that the chance of Ifrit dropping silver animas goes higher along with the difficulty? Been farming VH since the start of event, and I'm still short on silver animas despite having more gold ones than I need.
Got this on my fourth reroll
Is it good?
This is Grande
Optimal Setups are:
10 Magna at 7.500
5 Unknown : 5 Magna at 9.188
1 Bahamut 30% : 9 Magna at 7.755
4 Unknown : 1 Bahamut 30% : 5 Magna OR
5 Unknown : 1 Bahamut 30% : 4 Magna at 9.240
2 Bahamut 30%/15% : 8 Magna at 7.590
4 Unknown : 2 Bahamut 30%/15% 4 Magna at 8.832
When talking about Grande summon, it is important to be careful about the modifiers. For grande to activate, you need at least 3 different elements in your party. This means only 2 members will gain benefit from the weapon modifiers, as weapon modifiers are specific to the element.
When using Grande, it is necessary to use as little normal weapons as possible. This is because Grande gives a direct boost to your normal modifier and diminishes the effectiveness of any normal weapon you will use. However to use Grande to its maximum potential, you will need a large pool of unknown weapons.
With the addition of a second bahamut weapon to your weapon pool, there is a slight decrease in overall damage output. This will however increase your HP if you choose to go this route.
Grande setup does not use any Normal weapons. This allows for no freedom in weapon selection.
6.7. Double Grande
Optimal Setups are:
10 Magna at 12.500
5 Unknown : 5 Magna at 15.312
1 Bahamut 30% : 9 Magna at 12.455
4 Unknown : 1 Bahamut 30% : 5 Magna OR
5 Unknown : 1 Bahamut 30% : 4 Magna at 14.84
2 Bahamut 30%/15% : 8 Magna at 11.990
4 Unknown : 2 Bahamut 30%/15% 6 Magna at 13.952
Similar comments apply to Grande summon but in this case using a bahamut weapon decreases damage output by a decent amount. If you are going to use bahamut weapons with Double Grande setup, then I suggest its for added health. Also note that because of this, Double Grande setups can be useful for when you have a team composition that cannot benefit from bahamut weapon as much (Erun / Harbin).
Grande setup does not use any Normal weapons. This allows for no freedom in weapon selection.
from the optimization guide
Well, here's hoping it doesn't completely hate being debuffed by dark. If it does I'll end up needing to duo it with a debuff slut or something and that's a pain in the ass. Or maybe I'll just break out my wind team, that should at least be able to manage EX solo at a decent speed.
How's the drop rate for the SSR prize during GW? I only ever farm the VH raid for AP/token efficiency and I've never even seen the SSR drop (Reindeer Axe & Mahisa for the last two GW's).
Light unknown weapon sounds ridiculously good so is it worth it to move up in difficulty for a better drop rate?
If you play long enough you'll just fill out your grid with event SRs for each team and get lucky with some SSRs or just do surprise gacha for key team components like Jeanne, Vampi, Altair or Cagliostro that let you build a team around them even with SRs
Well for that team, only Jeanne was acquired by whaling since I suprise ticketed her the other day.
I got Albert, Lucifer, and Sarunan from varying Legfest over the past few months since I started in October
When you're starting off no matter what you should focus 1-2 elements because that's all your grid farming will be able to support (For magna/serious farming).
Later once your main team is so strong that you can just plow over even off-element bosses then you start filling out your other element grids. It's entirely dependent on your own comfort/grind though
Thanks. I should focus around my Yuel since I like her the most. Either that or a Dark team.
Good taste, especially good since she's apparently getting 5* soon
Except it was explicitely stated by Touyama and Katou during the usual Guraburu channel, in which every announcement has been fulfilled shortely thereafter.
Stop acting like a autist.
