Two questions, familia:
- How can I transfer my savedata from the gateway .3ds rom to .cia? The game is theatrhythm final fantasy curtain call (eur), and I am sure it actually stores shit in extdata, not normal save slot. The .cia doesn't see that data listing.
- What is the proper protocol for getting vba .cia's running? I can install ithem to sysNAND, no biggie, but nothing so far works. Tried installing with minipasta -> fbi -> into NAND, but to no avail.

That means menuhax is installed in emuNAND AND sysNAND. Remove it from emuNAND by changing the theme (get into emuNAND by going to rxTools in bootmanager and not activating menuhax)

will I be able to install rxtools emunand on a 2 gb SD? that's all I have before maintenance starts, I'll do the procedure to swap later

I'm having some trouble injecting FBI into the emuNAND health and safety. I tried with rxTools but selecting the check TMB option only gives me the region. Trying with Decrypt9 gives me a "Could not open hs.app!". On n3ds.

You don't have to install to emunand if you don't want to run anything on it. Personally I'd like to run everything from emu so I do it. You can run it from sysnand just fine if you only install it there. Plus you can run pastamode on rxtools so you don't have to even install AGB_FIRM.

yeah that means you have menuhax installed on emuNAND too

When you boot rxTools, make sure you're not triggering menuhax (either by not holding the trigger, or holding the trigger to disable menuhax that you may have set up) and change theme, that will remove it. Turn off and everything should work.

If you didn't change any menuhax trigger options, just don't hold anything when you first boot rxTools

however due to encryption stuff you'll need an O3DS to do that

I did not put the SD back or boot the console until doing steps 1-3 for getting Menuhax back and I wonder if I fucked up here, because I can't for the life of me get Browserhax to work now, been trying for literally 10 hours now, all with clearing cookies and tapping in the right spot and shit.

Is there a guide to patch AGBfirm? I'm getting nothing but errors from this half assed guide on Gbatemp.

I booted to Gateway Sysnand mode and tried using FBI to install AGBfirm patched v2 to nand and it worked. But installing any GBA game and I get errors. SUMMARY_WRONG_ARGUMENT (0x8).

The "browser forcing them to update" is a check at runtime or even just at the home menu. If ninjhax takes the browser over, it just creates a fake process to load it up in order to take it over -- and ARM11 kernel gives absolutely no fuck about what the browser itself and/or home menu have to say in the matter.

And yes, browserhax just won't work for me now. I had to do it and I did it just fine 4 times before, and each time it took about 25 tries at most. Now I'm half a day into doing it and after 500 tries I got nothing.

In fact most of the time now tapping the slider does nothing at all, no yellow screen or anything.

Will it be safe to update emuNAND to 10.4? I don't understand how CFW works on 3DS at all. PSP CFW needed to be built for each new update, and that's my only frame of reference.

Following the retard's hacking guide and It's been smooth sailing so far, I'm stuck though.

Section C is about creating an EmuNAND, I completed this step completely but when I try to do step D, unlinking the NANDs the rxTools don't work. When I press it the screen flashes then goes all black. The creator of the pastebin posted another link for an alternative rxTools, I copied and pasted the xrTools folder over the one in my SD card and now when it's launched it just brings up an error screen telling me it's failed. The screen then goes black.

Can anyone lend a hand?

Was the bottom screen red with the standard rxTools download? If it was, you have to boot into emuNAND while holding down the button you use to bypass menuhax (default is L or X). To check if your NANDs are unlinked, see if there are two different IDs (folders that have titles that look like nonsense) in SD:/Nintendo 3DS/.

If you enter system settings in RX tools and exit, you will boot to your SysNAND. Exiting System Settings effectively soft-resets your console, not sure why nintendo implemented it that way.

I've got everything that's essential done, I'm at the part where I'm trying to fix the eshop error 022-2634. I'm at step 9, where I cut and paste the emuNAND folder in the Nintendo 3DS folder. When I try to do the next step though I am unable to get into emuNAND and I can't get into rxTools. I've just copied it back for now and it's working again. Should I just keep going with that folder still on the SD card?
