I have EUR N3DS on 10.0.0-27E with both menuhax and ironhax (I also have physical copy of OoT, so I guess that would be another entry point). Should I downgrade now or just wait? I heard the process isn't entirely safe / perfected yet for N3DS, and I don't really need the ability to play backups right away (still have several games that I bought and haven't finished yet).

So, should I go with the downgrade now or just wait a bit longer?

Why do people use rxTools? Cakes was way easier to install, and plus the tutorial was easier to follow.

I'm using Cakes emuNAND 10.3, i've tried updating through CIA, Eshop, and home menu. Is there really anything else? I wouldn't mind getting a Smash CIA and seeing if that works, but it'd be a pain in the ass since I have a smaller SD card.

So I've sucefully downgrade, installed Emunand Cakes and all, but what should I do for the cfw Emuand launching directly when I boot my 3DS ? Everytime I must pass by browserhax and it boring me, I know there's already the pastebin but it doesn't work

Okey, waited for an hour and nothing happened. I turned it off and on and nothing happened (black screen but I could turn it off normaly (the turn off screen did appear) so I guess it was soft bricked.

Asking here again, do I need to take some extra steps in order to play online/local? I'm on Rxtools 10.3 on O3DS, and I tried to have my friend join me in Smash (I'm updated to the latest version, 1.1.3 and I installed the dlc) only for it to say our versions are different. I want to restore the archived saves on my system that are undetected, but I can't manage to use it. When I launch svdt in the homebrew channel, it shows a red screen and frezzes. I tried the same on my o3ds but to no avail.

Inside the romfs folder of your decrypted CIA, merge the "arc" folder with the folder of the same name inside the mhx folder of your patch download.

Rebuild your CIA, then install it as per usual. You may have to delete your old game if you had v8.

I'm running rxTools 3.0, autobooting into emuNAND. If I want to use a R4i, do I have to do anything special? Or do I just pop the cartridge in and it boots into R4i, or do I boot into emuNAND and start it up through the cartridge icon?

If you downgrade and get a black screen remove the SD card, change the theme then reinstall menuhax.

Just be ridiculously cautious and double check the MD5, SHA1 and region of the firmware you downloaded yourself. I used the safety net of the auto recovery when I got the black screen because I thought I bricked it.

Different guides are saying different things about Unlinking NANDs. Is there a preferred way to do it? Should I:

1) Inject FBI onto my sysnand and then use Tinyformat?
or
2) Remove the SD card and format system memory is sysnand?

Great guide, however the owner should add that when first accessing rxTools it installs some stuff, then you need to reboot and then enter with L pressed (sometimes you'll get a redscreen and need to eject SD -> put it back in before rebooting)

I did 2. The only thing that happened was that my NNID got disconnected from sysNAND, and my eShop games disappeared as well. Both my NNID and eShop games were still on emuNAND though, which I have now updated to 10.3, so it's not really a problem.

Kept happening to me for 2 days. I resorted to formatting my 3DS via system settings. Before that, use svdt or savedatafiler to backup and saves you don't want to lose. You'll have to redownload everything.
Worked the first time I tried after formatting.
When you're done with the downgrade and CFW setup, use svdt or savedatafiler again to restore your saves.

I just plugged my SD card in and then selected to inject into emunand partition the "NAND.bin" file that I backed up back in gateway when I formatted my emunand.
You'll have to reinject FBI into H&S though but it really isn't a big deal.

Haven't played too much of it (only did the first practice battle) but I like it. I really like Level5 games. The combat is pretty cool and I assume the game will get more intricate as you get further and upgrade you battlers and stuff. Definitely worth a try IMO.

People seem to love it or hate it. I personally really like it. The combat could turn some people off, but it's basically just auto attacks from 3/6 of your Yo-Kais and use trigger special attacks once a Yo-Kai has charged it. You can also swap Yo-Kais mid battle.

Besides the combat, the overall game is very comfy IMO and I'm enjoying it a lot.
