first for teammates who roam and don't put up wall fortifications first
How rampant is the hacking in Ranked mode on PC? I heard it's bad, but I heard the same thing about CS and didn't have many problems there
I'm torn between PC or PS4
Technically I've never come across flat out hacking, just people exploiting a glitch to leave the building during the prep period and kill everyone before they spawn. No clue if it happens on consoles or not.
Of course. This was actually a thing with the original Rainbow Six games and the planning phase. If something went wrong, you couldn't plan out on the fly, like in the original Ghost Recon games.
>mfw I just realized the fucking boosters are fucking energy drinks
>last man alive
>doing great, get several kills
>team cheering you on
>last person alive on enemy team kills you
Just went 4-0 with Fuze using the ballistic shield and PMM. The whole time some nig on a mic was ripping on me, saying "noobs shouldn't play multiplayer till they do all the situations", that I was in the way, etc. After I won the match he didn't say a single word for the remainder of the rounds.
Are you dissatisfied with the Casual matchmaking on the PS4 version? Or PS4 players of this game?
I play on PS4. I haven't noticed anyone painfully retarded outside of assholes that teamkill. At least they play to the objective and usually take things slow.
>playing Halo 5
>teammates treat it like team deathmatch
THAT'S retarded, and infuriating
>FBI Murica paint is American flag
>GIGN French paint is the French flag
>GSG 9 paint is a yellow line
Too bad none of the shield users are American
but even better
>busting through a breach with a Russian fucken flag painted across your impenetrable phalanx
>want to play different operator
Then fucking play it, I play Blitz 9/10 times on offense and I don't give 2 fucks if we have a thermite or not.
Half the time Thermite fucking plays aggressive and gets himself killed before even setting a charge so it doesn't even fucking matter.
Would anyone mind sharing tactics for terrorist hunt on realistic mode?
I've only won it twice, both on hostage defense(my favorite mode).
I've found that the most essential operators are Mute, Bandit, and Jager. Mute and Bandit place their devices on all of the reinforced walls, and Jager uses his devices to stop the grenades which will be thrown in.
It's much more fun than Classic Hunt and not as nearly impossible as Bomb Defuse.
I've always liked defense gamemodes where you can build up your base. With jager, bandit, and mute you can completely secure all of the walls and force the enemy to come into one or two doors.
>Want to play X Attacker
>No one picks Thermite
>Forced to pick Thermite
>Want to play X Attacker
>No one picks Thermite
>Fuck it and pick X Attacker anyways
>Defenders spawn in a location such as President's room on Bank where having a Thermite is invaluable
The more you rely on Thermite, the more it 'urts when he's kicked from underneath ya
>whole team plays into enemy hands by taking them on CoD style and opening breaches that provide optimal concentrated fire from most likely enemy positions
>breach on my own and die
>see who ever didnt get smashed backtrack and enter my breach, making sure to stay hidden until the last 10 seconds where they go back to CoD mode
>breach on my own and wait for teammates to get into a favorable position
>they all die with 2 minutes left on the clock and 4 enemies left
>resort to suicide mode so I can get the round over
>either die or end up killing all enemies and getting the "OMG SO MUCH EPIC CLUTCH" bullshit from dead maggots
I swear roamers are my fucking bane, after so many deaths from random lone faggots lurking near the upstairs hallway on the bank map I once meleed one of the windows and emptied 2 mags into the room (15 seconds after spawning and obj nowhere near the room), teammate behind me probably wondering what the fuck is going on as I stand there for 10 seconds waiting for movement. Surely there wasn't a guy in the room this time so I jump through the window and guess whose head isn't attached the moment I hit the floor on the other side
And don't even get me started on Pulse, now I love staring at my flank pretending I'm with the forward breach and seeing that bald piece of shit poke his head around the corner
>playing with my bros, we have pretty decent coordination and tactics
>face a pro-team that is highly coordinated and has great tactics
>they defeat us two matches in a row without losing anyone
(game ended up being 3-1 by the way)
>tell my friends that we should be more coordinated, and work together more so that we can kick ass like them
>one friend goes "im not a tryhard"
>"those guys were tryhards. im not a tryhard."
Someone explain this mindset to me.
You should use your secondary drone a lot more than you are already my man.
Drones fucking trash roamers because as soon as you know how many are roaming you know how careful you have to be.
>seeing that bald piece of shit poke his head around the corner
>My fucking face
I used to play competitive matches on gamebattles. Two hours a day training snapshots, running coordination drills and perfecting jumpthrows. Another two hours or more of scrimms and chalkboarding. Finally ending with 8+ hour weekend days running down the weeks lineup of ladder matches, money matches and grudge calls, filling the gaps with pickup games and more scrimms.
We were an elite team of professionals. But its a fucking nightmare just trying play keep up with yourself, it's an agonizing, soul draining cycle in pursuit of a fleeting high that comes, at best, 10 times a week.
The life of a tryhard is cruel, shallow and thankless. Now I play games for fun. It's liberating as hell to bask in anonymous mediocrity.
TL;DR - "Winning" is never worth the struggle. Learn to have fun losing sometimes.
That's a bit extreme. I just meant my friends and I coordinating a little better. Coordinating which operators we pick so we can compliment each other, and strategizing which walls we're going to reinforce and where we're going to camp/roam.
As opposed to everyone just doing whatever they want.
Montagne is a bro. He distracts the enemy while his teammate gets the kill.
If the enemy focuses on the teammate, the Montagne needs to notice this and quickly shoot the enemy.
When the fuck is ubishit going to fix people getting outside of the building on the SAS killhouse map? This is the second time I got put in a match with fagolas that all run out of the building and drop nitros on all of the spawn points.
>plant the bomb as the only attacker left
>the sole defender is in an adjacent room, there's only one doorway he can come through unless he goes outside the building
>STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP
>ENEMY DETECTED OUTSIDE
>STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP
>he comes through the back door and I shoot him instantly
>calls me a cheater
I think someone hacked my Uplay account
>remember I'm level 7
>i'm level 20 and unlocked Glaz, Thatcher, IQ and Ash with weapons painted
gee thanks... but has this happened to anyone else?
So, in the same session I can play on some maps with 60+ fps, but after some matches my FPS drop to 30 with some quite small but annoying delay in mouse controls. I'm already playing on settings way below what my PC is capable of running, what's up?
You get retards everywhere. On PC yesterday I saw a guy trying to take out a drone with C4. He died.
Maybe at one point during development he could only use the whatever-the-fuck-G3-looking-thing and a shotgun but they switched the shotgun with another L85, but in the process removed the L85 from being a weapon 'unique' to Sledge.
Or it's just character art and that shotgun is the weapon the decided to portray SAS with the most.
Don't worry, I have the same problem a good amount of the time.
As blitz you want to walk at them, not crouch walk.
Blitz is the 1v1 KING, because he can walk at folks and flash the fuck out of them.
They shoot your legs?
See their bullets riding up your shield?
You should be standing at least 90% of the time as blitz, crouching is what opens you up to headshots, when you stand your head is covered better.
Is anyone here good? I'm going to be playing some casual today with a bonus active. Looking for others who have an active bonus.
>Not playing Blitz with the soul purpose of making the enemies eyes bleed
Do you even obnoxious?
>killcam shows enemy standing out in the open for a full second while I look at him doing nothing
>Playing with /r6g/
>Enemy fuzes hostage
>Killcam shows him fuzing the adjacent room
>Still try to visualize how the grenade had to bounce to travel an entire rooms length on cafe
>Have seen people fuze the hostage room and not kill the hostage.
See, the killcams in this game are all fucked up sometimes.
>None of that hipfire connects
>No ammo with 2 enemies full flashed
Aw dude once they're flashed you just side step out of the fire and do whatever you please.
However that 3rd guy ensured you weren't making it out alive no matter what happened.
slow down and aim you spazzy fuuuuuuuuuuuck
This seems to be my rundown
>Thermite if not taken
>Ash or Sledge if Thermite taken, but second breaching class isn't taken
>Blitz if Hostage rescue/Fuze if any other if no breaching class needed
>Twitch or Glaz if map benefits the DMRs
>Thatcher, Twitch, or IQ if no specific role is needed due to their really good rifles
>Mute if none taken
>Castle if Mute taken
>Kapkan if Castle+Mute taken
>Bandit if Kapkan+Castle+Mute taken
>Doc if all others taken
I don't actually have anyone else because when I play terrorist hunt it's set to not have protect hostage in the playlist
Saves time and bullets if you just all 5 drones at once to scour the place, finding the hostage and just focusing on that part of the whole place, then you just have to deal with those from inside coming after you and clearing out the extraction zone.
With Mute it comes down to more people that I care to play with actually want me to use mute, even though I prefer the MP7 to the MP5k. Either way, I feel like I'm actually doing something
Just had a game on hb
>we spot smoke trying to glitch himself out of the building with drones
>he does it
>doesnt even make it in time to the spawn
>gets headshoted the second we spawn
Fucking retards man
>Enemy glitches out of the building to our spawn
>Enemy toggles on super obvious wallhacks since we stomped them in round 1.
What is it with shitties and exploits?
Why bother with them if you aren't even decent at the game itself?
I'm playing on PS4. This guy makes a comment on having a different playstyle on console... in all PC vids I see, attackers roam all over the map and are able to run into a room and take a few people down before getting shot. If you did this on console, you'd get fucked the second your head becomes visible by an enemy.
I've been learning how to play operators from this dude's channel but I feel like there's a huge difference from PC and console. Does anyone play like this on PS4/XB1 ? Running into a room and dropping 2-3 guys before they can even shoot you?
>I've only pretended to be retarded
Oh boy! You got me good!
You'd get popped quick. People aren't able to move their camera as easily on console, which means they have their sights aimed down at one spot for the whole round when defending.
I swear some people have some social autism
>last night playing in TS, have a full team
>dude joins the channel asking for tips on how to play the game
>we give him tips, and he wants to play with us
>explain we have a full team
>explain we're probably gonna keep going for potentially hours, and that he could go to another channel and form a team
>"But I like you guys"
Dude stuck around for a half hour, it was just awkward.
That actually happens in the game though. People teamkill for the shittiest reasons. I was teamkilled once because I picked someones favorite operator and wouldn't switch, because it was the only one I had unlocked
Find really strong chokepoints. Like the garage door on that snow map. It takes one steel barricade and there's no breachable surfaces nearby, so that basically eliminates that entryway(unless a thatcher with really good aim is in the squad)
>want to play
>kinda drunk and will just be a burden
lone wolf t-hunt it is
>look up last name
>it's actually finnish
fuck off with your gay shit
why are 4channers so fucking desperate degenerates that they need to do this bullshit on every board
go outside sometimes freaks
DUDE I'M NEW AND GOING TO QUEUE FOR REALISM TERROIST HUNT AND DIE IN THE FIRST WAVE LMAO
Rank restriction when?
>playing black arrow on XBL back in the day
>playing that huge russian map that's in an old warehouse
>last person alive
>manage to systematically pick off every one of them and win the game for my team
>my team explodes and loses their shit
It was so poorly implemented, but I loved the clan/squad matches.
Any news on turning off the fucking HDR that makes it impossible to see in or out of houses? Shit's retarded.
>playing with shitters all day
>go out for a while
>get first good game all day
>absolutely destroy first round
>freezes going into second
>says I abandoned game
I love how such a simple fucking fix is going to take a month for ubi to implement
>if you somehow manage to get outside during the prep period, you have a death timer, not a detection timer
I just fixed spawn killing
>doing dat dere fuze shield
>only issue is ammo
>2 guys left and go in with partner with 2 bullets left toal
>headshot the first guy and smack the second dude after he kills the other friendly
i wish getting stream views was easy i get some good clips on ps4 but even after an hour zero viewers
yeah it's wayyy too oversaturated
you can save clips which is what im going to start doing again
maybe do some youtube reviews those seem to be the easiest to get into bc it's based on your quality of discussion not memes and clickbait
>join into a 0-2
>team getting stomped
>accidentally dont pick anything so I get recruit with a gun i've never used
>tfw first ace
>next round starts
>get 3 kills solo
>get teamkilled by my last teammate who was fucking doc
I really don't understand why the selection is so limited in the first place. It shouldn't take a single artist more than an hour or two to make a generic pattern camo. I can understand if the weapon specific ones like engraved are few and far between, but considering this is a 60 dollar multiplayer only game, there should at least be a nice selection of generic camos/finishes.
>tfw a camo you really like is only on a weapon you never use
Game really seems to be a bit lacking in content, and that won't be changing in the future from the looks of it.
>Game really seems to be a bit lacking in content, and that won't be changing in the future from the looks of it.
this seems to be the case for a lot of multiplayer only games these days
>no shield camo
>no breaching charge camos
>no drone camo
>no operator camo
>no operator challenges like flashing 3 people at once as blitz or getting 2 long range headshots in a round as glaz
why does ubisoft want everyone to feel like soulless carbon copies
>why would you want a breaching charge to be easier to see
the breaching charge is on the opposite side of the wall to the enemy you fucking tard, when are they ever going to see it
>why do you want drones easier to see
and bright pink guns aren't easier to see?
you're completely missing the point of camos/visual changes here, they're supposed to just look nice not change the game
honestly go back to cs:go
>to fucking blend in? yeah sure most the camo in-game is retarded flashy shit but don't question the actual point of camo
>actually wanting people to be able to pay to be harder to see
please stop trying to kill this game with your cod tier shit
>>why do you want drones easier to see
>and bright pink guns aren't easier to see?
How retarded are you that you make that comparison? I'm not trying to hide a bright pink gun in the objective room so I can spy on the enemy. Having drone camo is full blown retarded
Lol, fucking garby scrubkid can't use breaching charges as improvised nitro cells? Fucking sit you piece of shit, go back to playing CoD or TF2 or whatever plebhole you plebbed out of.
>I'm not trying to hide a bright pink gun in the objective room so I can spy on the enemy
it's almost as if camo is optional and you can choose not to use it? durrrr
>Why make drone camo at all when using one would make it completely visible and near impossible to hide?
because there exists more ways of using camo then making something bright pink you turbo sperg
Heres some Uplay codes for ya'll. Yeah I know, uplay is cancer, but these are leftovers from the humble bundle. Ones I own on steam already.
original rainbow six
>PBLV - UB8C - FNVP - D6VP
Raven Shield / Athena Sword
>RVS - GBGN - R1HM - 023A - NHM0
>PLNC - DRRP - CGHL - FDLV
Splinter cell blacklist
>3MMA - J8AC - L8PA - CRYV
Bretty gud games. Its a shame that blacklist was so underappreciated. Obviously remove the added spaces.
I wish you all good vibrations and fluke headshots. have fun.
>Good thing about drone camo
-Allows players to customize their own drone, matching the camo to the map.
>Bad things about drone camo
-Drones will be hard to see.
Thats the point of camo.
Except every interior of the buildings is pretty much the same, with black being a decent blend in color. No matter how much you argue here it's not gonna happen kid.
Fuck off to the ubisoft forums if you really want to try and have it included
>mfw I know you won't because you don't want to attach your uplay name to your shitty idea
The thing is, what camo would you choose for a drone, seeing how the default color is perfect for hiding them in the shadows and underneath things. Also, there's nothing stopping players from increasing their brightness to spot drones easier.
I very clearly said it's not a good idea because every interior on each map is roughly the same coloring. It's a waste of time and resources for ubisoft when they could work on better more important things.
And here's a protip, when everyone else in the thread is calling your idea shitty as fuck, it probably is
>playing with guys in Teamspeak
>get downed next to our Doc
>he switches to his normal pistol and shoots me in the head
>playing with a Doc
>camping in the bathroom at clubhouse, at about half health, laying down on the ground
>teammate Doc comes up to me and shoots me with his revive gun
>does this until he runs out of ammo for it
>Why isn't it working?
I wish I had a mic to ask him if he thought I was down, or if he thought Doc could heal people.
All of these arguments in >>128154646
Can all be applied to gun camo.
Guns are small
Guns default camo is fine for hiding
Ubisoft could've worked on more important things.
In your opinion then, Ubisoft shouldn't of made any camos for guns, and discontinue making any more.
So ranked was just magical tonight.
>Two clanfags doing an exploit to get out of house during setup
>Basically wins us the game
>Massive butthurt all around
>They try it again, but this time some sperg (who was just content to take the win last time) on our team warns the enemies, and they just switch spawns
>Exploiters get owned every defense round because they keep trying
>This basically loses us the game
>Lots of butthurt flying both ways over voice
>Enemy team thanks the sperg for his fair play endorsement with "lol ez"
>New group because the last one split for obvious reasons
>The entire enemy team disconnects during the setup phase
>Turns out they were 4 golds and 1 platinum, somehow matched against our team of 4 silvers and 1 gold
>Free win and free rankup
>Somehow favours the enemy team every time so we lose 0-4
>Free loss and a free rankdown
>Entire enemy team disconnects right at the end of setup phase
>But then, they are replaced with an entirely different full team
>No idea how, this is not supposed to happen in ranked, right?
>We basically play a 4v5 where we have 1 game advantage, the new team is all bronze and silver so we win.
I dont even this game sometimes.
>camo on something so small and that you hardly ever see is a fucking retarded idea
>WOW GUESS THEY SHOULD GET RID OF CAMO ON SOMETHING YOU CAN SEE ALL THE TIME HUH?
Holy shit why are you so fucking dumb
Honestly what the fuck is up with these idea guys with the stupidest fucking ideas? So far we have
>headshots should be removed/limbs should cripple when shot
>aiming should be impossible when shot
>retarded fucking operators like "Dozer"
And it's not even they just had a bad idea and accept it, they fucking argue for hours about why they think it's good when not a single person agrees.
You actually see guns all the time retard, you almost never see your own drone
Oh, he can be really powerful, but his turret placement is so fucky right now that many people reasonably think he is broken. Not to mention that many people still assume the turret itself is shit because you can't use it's ADS if you have your ADS mode set to toggle.
Between these post-process AA options
which do you prefer?
What about Multisample AA?
Do you go with
I'm playing on a GTX 760 with 2GB VRAM on all Medium so I've gotta cut a few corners here and there sometimes
>hardly ever see.
Except for every round.
The point is, different camo would be useful for hiding in different things. I will of course condede that most maps have similar colouring.
But what I mean is camos for blending in with floor boards, different colour carpets, plants, concrete.
Yes, hiding in the shadows is fine, and black is obviously the best colour and I agree. But what if you wanted to hide in that white shelf? Or vegetation? Or snow?
What i'm talking about is camo for hiding in plain sight.
They aren't contributing shit except shitty ideas that will never happen. This post right here is contributing as much as they are.
>Except for every round.
You nearly never see your own drone, because you operate it, not stare at it and think the camo looks cool. And you don't need camo on your drone to effectively hide it in plain site, that can and is done commonly. I much prefer gitting gud with the drone to hide it rather than buying all the camos for it.
I realize that, but it would be terrible in this game because it would really make firefights one sided, whoever lands the first shot would auto win since the enemy would get crippled.
What do you guys think about using the lighting as a weapon. Kinda like how KF2 does, like when thatcher chucks an EMP nade, you cant see shit. Could open up a nightvision goggles/scope kinda thing.
I dunno, just spitballin.
I was there for that. Dude was saying it sounds like a fun tactic while I was telling him it's dumb because it encourages teammates to kill themselves for the chance at a kill
Devs said they're not going to do anything at the moment with regards to lighting or nightvision. Also, people at the moment are running with increased brightness, so this will just counteract the darkness.
The reason it's bad is because they would almost never get a kill. A bomb vest would only have the explosive range of a nitro cell, maybe a bit more. And charging someone is just gonna get them killed because of how easy it is to hear someone run in this game.
>alluh snackbar operator
>their video is just them being recruited by ISIS and given a bomb vest
Except the it wasn't creative. It was literally muh nippon steel katana and throwing stars. People try to inject that shit into everything, it's not creative, it's worn out
Any pro roamers out there with tips to share?
My roam game is alright I've managed to get aces from shooting outside and decimate half a team in a corridor on occasion but sometimes I slip up and end up getting caught out by slowpoke attacker following the group.
I'd just like to be a bit more consistent.
I'll come up with some better ones for the next general then. Almost got one done just need to iron out the kinks so it doesn't clash with any of the current operators.
See you then.
the end of a post is where you normally stop reading anon
bandit has the strongest SMG and can shut down entire sections of a room he deserves to be god tier
doors are useless and people normally have enough charges to stop castle being useless the fact that fuze can open peep holes in them does not help either
>come back after a week to see if the general is still a shithole
>namefag from /gtag/
>TS shit is gone thank god
>fanfic operators are still here
Better, but I can do without all the shit tier namefags from other generals. At least the ps4 guys stopped posting their names with every single post after multiple people from here called them out.
Except "Hanzo" is literally Genji from Overwatch. What makes your idea even more unoriginal is
his brother's name is Hanzo and there was a theory that Hanzo killed Genji and pretended to be him to redeem himself
Watch out when you play on Fort Havaford or whatever that map is called. There's a glitch spot where a defenders can glitch into the wall, and see and shoot perfectly through the wall outside, when you can't even see them.
Why has Rainbow Six never been made into a movie? I mean it's Tom Clancy's best novel, it's got several action setpeices, a good standalone which can easily be made into a series, it's still got a relevant storyline, and it's got pretty good name recognition even outside of the game series.
Like... it just seems like such an obvious hit and they've movieized some of his much less cinematic novels like Sum of All Fears, Netforce, etc
sometimes I don't get drone denial.
as you play the game more, when you see even one defender hang around a floor or an area you would know that the objective is there, you wouldn't really need to 'see the objective' with your drone to know, right?
it was up for the split second the drone went past, maybe it disabled it in time for the drone to jump over idk
i'm not sure what you're trying to say with this post
I love shocking shields that block the doorways and the putting shocked barbed wire just behind it. You just need a team mate who's willing to drop the shield in the right spots. If I don't, I'll usually just set the wires up for drone denial and then move them to the reinforced walls.
Put the shocked barbed wire over drone holes and under barricaded doors in the . That way the drones can't jump over it. Mute should be covering stair ways and I'm sure you and the 4 other people can handle shooting a few drones. Before they hit you.
Given the vast quantities of stupidity I've seen in this game, I just assume anyone posting like you did has no idea what they're doing.
Seriously, I've seen to many attackers killing shock drones and breaching charges, or even friendlies and they run around corners, Castles creating murder boxes, even defenders ruining in front of friendly fire when shotgunning peep holes. Do I even have to mention Fuze?
This game just attracts naturally born idiots.
>Doc, last round
>Down Ash, start hammering away at defuser because I have a PhD in taking lives to save lives, not hacking
>Game ended before I can revive her and start duking it out melee spamming
>game doesn't even give me the kill
>mfw I was the one to give her the proposed name
I would lose my shit if that's her codename
I only play him on bomb maps for obvious reasons.
>Run to window if I know where the objective is
>Stick cluster in
>Run as quickly as possible to a window across the room and stick another in since enemies are likely running in that direction
>All chat: "Really"
using the cluster charge to it's full effect requires both very good map knowledge, and drone skills/team communication.
You use drones/communication to find out where their campers are, and then you use map knowledge to figure out what plant spot will let you hit them.
Apparently the new female Canadian operator's sigil looks a heck of a lot like a bear trap. The bear trap thing came up on this general as wild speculation, but who the fuck knows, Ubisoft could be reading these threads at this point.
>everytime reddit is mentioned.insulted he gets triggered
This general is better off dead.
It has nothing to do with reddit itself, it's just the shitposter's last resort when they can't actually come up with a counterargument so they play into "LE SEKRIT KLUB XDDD" bullshit.
Tell me more about how two letters triggers you this hard, though. It's obvious you care a lot more about reddit than I do
not even that guy. i just lurk here and every single time someone calls you out for the stereotype that you are you cry about it.
if you want people to stop calling you a faggot, stop acting like a faggot.
I played siege beta and I just got the game yesterday and to be honest i am having a ton of fun with just me and my friend. But I only have a small complaint and that is why do people use Fuze and end up killing themselves.? I played as Fuze for a few matches on Terrorist Hunt and I ended dying a few times to my own cluster bust of grenades. (Only when I stood near the door) do the grenades just roll under the door and blow up or am I just not playing Fuze right?
>why do people use Fuze and end up killing themselves.?
Because most people are shitters.
>do the grenades just roll under the door and blow up or am I just not playing Fuze right?
Both. The grenades are known for killing through walls, but only when you're right on the other side hugging the wall. But you can also take that as playing fuze wrong.
Anytime, but please don't namefag. We don't want another one here.
>play ranked game
>lose one teammate
>never get another one
Staviuh was pretty bad at first, but then he got called out along with his other ps4 buddy and they stopped. This one >>128179198 >>128179959 seems innocent. As long as he turns it off when posting normally and not looking for a group.
now this shitter has never turned it off. this is the person who posts constantly with a name like 24$ dollar pizza from /gtag/
Both fucking cancerous.
Hard to say. The gameplay is really, really good. The servers and disconnects are not good. I think it's been worth 60 because I've had so many hours of fun with guys from here on the team speak, but it seems like everyone's mileage has varied. If you're on PC I'd say buy it on steam, try it out and if it's not your thing get a refund.
just because someone posts a gif/picture of something doesnt mean they enjoy it. how autistic are you?
>having a reaction folder of only something you enjoy ignoring the fact if it's good or not
>the other namefags besides these three aren't that bad... yet
Every namefag is terrible for the idea that they only post with a name to get attention. They do not progress the general in any way. They're a cancer. Problem is, the only way to deal with that is to just not respond and they will leave. Just that people here always respond to namefags.
Yeah the one guy that goes full defense force everytime someone mentions reddit.
Pretty sure this isn't urzorn. He's a weird dude but I'm almost certain he doesn't namefag.
Also doubt this is mouse since he stylizes his name differently. If it is mouse, then get out you're way beyond underage
How isnt this game more popular? Had it for the last couple of days and its quality
> Tactical gameplay
> Loads of people on the mics
> Friendly community (I was just in a game where a kid who had the poshest accent in the world was being taught about barrier placements by some next level chav and they were getting on great and having a laugh)
> Operators are fun
> Guns are balanced
> Levels generally well designed
I'm just pretty shocked. I picked it up on a whim and now I'm hooked. When your team all have mics in and you pull off a slick manoeuvre and they're all cheering you on is such a great feeling. So why isn't this game more popular?
>So why isn't this game more popular?
Uplay. The servers are fucking awful, the net code is ridiculous, I die every time I play because my body clipped through a wall or door giving away my position, and hacking.
>Yeah the one guy that goes full defense force everytime someone mentions reddit
which one is that? sorry I just don't pay enough attention to the posts
every now and then you get that uy who is simply putting his name in to start a party or something, tho that can be avoided by putting their name in the list
are you legitimately retarded? No shit it's not them. It's the guy who is asspained about having zero friends outside of TS. And even then he doesn't play with them anymore because he threw a massive sperg fit because there was a 14 year old in TS. While that sounds annoying, the guy didn't take his autism pills and shit up the thread, so no one cares about his issues anymore.
>which one is that? sorry I just don't pay enough attention to the posts
>every now and then you get that uy who is simply putting his name in to start a party or something, tho that can be avoided by putting their name in the list
Staviuh. Him and his friend were awful at first, especially since they're from /dg/ and couldnt control themselves. But after being called out by most of the general they stopped and started only posting their names when looking for a group. They're tolerable now. margarine and I Spent $24 On Pizza are the only ones I see who namefag because they're attention-whores. Especially pizza. He seems okay but god damn it's every single post. He's from /gtag/ and is still a little bit of a faggot even there.
it's a game tho. And even in real life there have been people who have survived sniper bullets thanks to helmets, which doesn't happen in rainbow six, where a 9mm kills you by hitting you in the helmet alone at long distances
>tho that can be avoided by putting their name in the list
No one is going to so that simply because this general is still in "shit status". This general doesn't even have basic gun stats like most competitive/FPS generals do. shit, payday has one and that's a terrible fucking game.
The ts isn't even that bad desu. I'm almost certain there's just a few people who samefag and shit talk it, while also posting about non existent TS drama to just piss people off. Makes us all look bad shaking my head in multiple directions
Really? I left pretty early on due to everyone posting like an underage autist
>animeface reaction pics
>raw, unfiltered autism
>90% were literally namefags
Yeah that is the worst general I've been a part of by far. This one was potential but I believe it'll get better once the true faggots leave.
you can survive headshots in rb6, although only because of shitty lag/netcode, but that honestly gives a "realistic" amount of times for surviving a headshot. It pretty much never happens.
I would like them to maybe add a "down but not out" thing to the operators like tachanka when headshotted once
I'm just the screencap guy. That's just what some people have said about TS. The worst thing about TS that i've heard would have to be the kid. A 14 year old is one of the most annoying things ever, especially nowadays because of memespouting. I couldnt care less about Urzorn joking about being a pedo. The worst part about TS would be the guy who kept throwing those fits about TS. He made TS look way worse than it was.
>remove headshots instantly killing
holy shit you still post here?
>most generals are cancer-fests filled with children and reddit-tier humor so it's okay
No, it's not okay.
My friend plays castle and I usually tell him to place them on windows. Then get a mute to jam it and a bandit to get reinforced walls. Then the enemy has to come through a kill room. Unless they have an ash or sledge, which is almost always. Still a pretty good stategy.
The most annoying thing about the kid is he's annoying as shit.
>playing with him the other day
>talking with the team between matches while searching
>bring up any movie or game
>he immediately says the ending without asking if everyone has played through it
>does this with like 5 different things
>talks about how he has some neck gland that's swollen
>"Dude what the fuck, that's not normal"
>"No man it's normal, it happens to everyone"
>"No it fucking doesn't"
>"It's just teenager stuff, drinking soda and being dehydrated"
>holy shit you still post here?
not that guy, I'm actually all for instant headshots but something has to be done about the big ass heads that some operators have, just give everyone the same normal headsize and make the helmets not count as getting headshotted
>No, it's not okay.
wasn't saying that, just wondering why you seem surprised by it, you should be expecting it from here
but hey, at least here you can call people out on their faggotry here and not get fucking downvoted and banned or whatever
GSG9 folk shouldn't be killed by a bullet to an earmuff, and Tachanka could honestly use a small buff like being able to take two headshots instead of one. He's just a meme as is.
I agree, heavies getting DBNO from headshots would be nice. It would make Tachy a little more useful.
>The most annoying thing about the kid is he's annoying
>it's annoying he's annoying
Nothing I said should have given the impression I was surprised, just sick of seeing it ruin generals by attracting the worst kind of social outcasts to it. Just look at /dg/ and /gtag/. Those two generals have the worst "waifu" type posting and just true autism.
I've just recently been visiting /egg/ and it's refreshing to see people actually talk about a fucking game and where namefags aren't total cancer.
Yeah the 14 year old is called mouse, that's why people occasionally name flag as mous. He's definitely annoying but I just don't play with him. The TS has 5 channels for 5 teams so there's 4 places I can choose to be that aren't with him
>that's why people occasionally name flag as mous
I guarantee you it's one dude and it's the dude who keeps sperging out about Urzorn wanting to fucks kids. He kept shitposting because no one cared about his problems. And then it got to the point where the people who actually agreed with his views started calling him out because he became worse than the problem he was fighting against.
For Tachanka specifically, I wouldn't even mind it if one headshot only took him down to half health, on or off turret. Normal heavy ops are fine the way they are desu. But yeah, don't see it happening.
not even ubi gets the stats right
also the damage per shot depends on armor of individual, where you're hitting, distance, if it's going through a wall or something, etc. So it's gonna take awhile
How do people get such good sight lines while peaking but expose such a tiny amount of their model?
I often get killed peaking around corners and on the kill cam a huge amount of my body is visible but some people can somehow remain almost totally concealed.
>he seems like something only super pro players can use effectively
Entirely false. He has his uses. He's just a very niche operator.
>down a hallway
>guarding a kill door
>garage on house
That's about it though.
>also the damage per shot depends on armor of individual, where you're hitting, distance, if it's going through a wall or something, etc. So it's gonna take awhile
No, it shouldn't. The games been out for what, almost a month and a half? Pretty sure someone has posted here that reddit already has a detailed list.
gotta try harder dude.
K, this applies to basically every first person video game because it's just basic trig. If you're going to peek a corner, move back from the corner. Hard to do for doorways because you're confined to the space of the door, but if your going around the corner of a wall, step the fuck back from it. Don't have your gun barrel pressing against the wall and shit, that's too close. Smash that fucking S button and back the fuck up
>Gotta try harder
I'm on my phone and I'm not scrolling through a few hundred images to get a good thumps up related pic. You should be happy you got a nice picture of drake pointing at you.
Try it in game and see what you think? I don't like doing it personally. Takes up to much of my view.
Like this? I like it because if things get too hot for me even on the gun, at least I can dismount and take cover.
The barricade is a little restricted, needs to be placed a set distance away. Blocks sight lines pretty bad too.
I once had a Tachanka absolutely flip on me for 'cading the doorway in front of his gun in the cockpit of the plane.
Then a Glaz just droned, crawled below his sight lines, then flung up and headshotted him. I totally screwed him.
Headshots are your real problem anyways.
Thank you based shitposter for taking your time to respond to me and not shitting up the general with more TS posting.
That's just a bad spot for it. But doing that tactic on house while defending the garage is pretty good for it. Also, do this >>128185631 and place it farther away.
>Setting up cluster on window
>Sledge comes along and smashes the window mid-animation
>Can't even move since I'm stuck in the animation
>Get lit up and die instantly
IF YOU'RE READING THIS YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
Why does this fucking piece of shit always take 10 attempts to set up
Literally no one cares where you 'originated' from. You're still a massive autist who posts with his name on 24/7 in every general you decide to shit up.
you're right, ive said my piece. I'm out.
