The only way you can get better at carrying is to play carries. And carry.

Now if people refuse to learn from their mistakes and don't improve that's one thing. But I've taken the time to learn this game. I'd say I'm familiar although hardly an expert with every hero, and I know how to build mostly everyone. I don't particularly like playing carries, I have much more fun with cores and supports. I can carry, but I'm not great at it, although I figure I'll have to keep trying until I am really good at it if I want to break 4k. For now I just want to get to 3k.

Damage on Medusa is like snake oil, pun intended.

20% penalty on all right clicks is a big deal. You can't even proc stuff with the other arrows. And most of the time you'll hit worthless targets like creeps and summons in a teamfight anyways. 600 range is pretty mediocre in this situation.

Getting rapier on Medusa is nowhere near a big threat as on a hero like Gyro or Ember. Being tanky isn't worth it if you'll just get kited and focused in the end.

Very magic damage heavy, meaning a bkb gets rid of most of his damage. He's also pretty squishy, but has a low range for his spells so he's a very high risk high reward type hero.

Late game he gets outscaled super hard by other ranged carries, and his spells are far less potent when the enemy has 3k health rather than 1k, but he's still decent into the late game.
