I'll stop for now, if you stop with your wrong assumptions, it was not fucking ironic, it wasn't supposed to be funny, you know shit about me. Triss is bliss, see you later when someone attacks Trissfags again.
She looks like shit, just like you.
Can I trust this fuck?
Post Ciri. I need new quality images for my folder.
You are right anon, the more Ciri, the better.
Hope I didn't fuck this up went to save Merigold.
The quest 'Crown Witness' turned out to be impossible.
Mages gonna be prosecuted no matter what. This is a big flaw in TW3's plot: how almost none of your choices matter in the grand scheme of things. World politics will no differ and Vergen still be captured, Henselt killed, Redanian led by a madman, witch hunters burning sorceresses, Roche being on the run, etc, etc. It's damn frustrating.
She does it only one time in the books.
Maybe devs decided she looks to bland without it. Given the fact she bathes regularly, she must have a penchant for it and carry a palette with herself. Mummy Yen taught her well.
Oh, come on... You should know by now, I only post original Shani.
Wat a hard ass fight this was but far easier than forest fight in Crown Witness.
I ahve no idea if I can pass through that quest in this playthrough because the witness just dies so fast
some recommended heliotrope sign skill but that's far away
I sure lost count at how many fucking Nilfgaardians I killed today.
You know I'm a peaceful guy and the less I kill the more happy I am but this and the Butcher of бaлaлáйкa achievement really rustle me.
Maybe if I went with Vernon 'not my friend' Roche I wouldn't need to kill so many people
BEST VOICE ACTING IN THE GAMES
BEST LINES IN THE GAMES
BEST BOSS BATTLE IN THE GAMES
SIMPLY BEST CHARACTER IN THE GAMES
His voice acting and lines were hilarious especially >>128019254 but I didn't see much of him in the boss battle as he died fairly fast.
Easiest boss/miniboss I've played so far in TW1+TW2
Hey, just started playing The Witcher 2. I arrived in Flotsam, but holy shit the inventory is so annoying, it's more of a dealbreaker for me than combat in the first game (although I had gotten used to it after the prologue).
tl;dr: Is there any mod than improves the inventory system? Tried the googles, but apart from some dead forum entries, nothing. I hate these fucking scrolling inventories, they are complete shit.
How much does the choice here matter?
You know I don't trust her but are there differences to how game plays out if I choose to trust her? This wasn't in wiki's checklist for decisions
>Hey, just started playing The Witcher 2. I arrived in Flotsam, but holy shit the inventory is so annoying, it's more of a dealbreaker for me than combat in the first game (although I had gotten used to it after the prologue).
I'm playing this with Steam Controller and I fucking hate using the inventory too
Huh? This screenshot is before I go fight Henselt so soon after the fight. These skills and then maxed out - meaning I had used all three or two upgrades - Aerondick from TW1 was my weapon. I dont recall if I had any sword oils on it.
It was easiest by far. He melted like butter.
I don't recall major consequences, so I guess it was something minor or none at all. I guess it depends if you want to romance Triss in TW3. But the game starts with single Geralt, so nothing like in TW2 when you are paired up with Triss no matter what you did in TW1.
Fuck reading the wiki it seems like I really should've gone with Roche for the good of Temeria.
Oh well. I fucked up. Triss is probably lying too and was part of king assassins.
Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna choose the no trust one.
Iorveth's route is my favorite, but I usually prefer Roche. I just cannot stand Kaedwen and Henselt.
You're welcome, bro. Good choice with no falling for Triss' bs. I am not a Yenfag, but between her and Triss there is no brainer. Anyway, single Geralt is my kind of Geralt.
Oh, so I'm up against two of you now?
Why does Letho save Triss anyway? You guys said Letho would save Triss if I don't go.
and now I find out Letho told about their target and plans for Triss.
She is lying right? Or is this just bad writing from the crew?
I went with Roche and I'm gonna play TW3 after 2 and then maybe later start a new run and choose the Scoiatel/elf path starting from TW1.
Letho saves Triss because he's just being bro. I don't think this is a case of bad writing, but more of 'look, he's not as bad as you think. PLOT TWIST!'.
Triss has a plot armor that could put Tyrion and Dany's to shame.
I always assumed book!Geralt would rather stick with nonhumans and help Saskia defend the Vergen where some of his bros lived instead of playing muh politics. I disliked him being Foltest's bodyguard so much. Besides, Vergen > Kaedwen camp. The atmosphere, the music, you will love it.
Letho doesn't appear evil to me from what I've found out during my playthrough now.
>Triss has a plot armor that could put Tyrion and Dany's to shame.
+ working on a cure for infertility
+ destined for Geralt
+ sees more in Geralt than just a walking D immune to STD
+ can handle herself
+ top tier banter with Geralt and other characters
+ great scenes with Geralt and Ciri
+ Ciri thinks of her as of a mother
+ sacrificed her life for dying Geralt while Triss watched
+ cucked her longtime lover for Geralt (despite popular opinion, he was the one cucking Yen)
+ will sacrifie everything for Geralt and Ciri
+ powerful sorceress
+ actively looks for Ciri
+ cabin in the middle of nowhere, lot's of sex and no politics or other shit to worry about - that's what she offers to Geralt, and that's what Geralt always wanted
+ Loves Geralt unconditionally despite djinii spell lifted
+ hates faminazis
+ alpha female for alpha male
+- HAD some imperfections but they were corrected by best magicians in the world and Geralt is fuly aware of that.
- can be harsh at a times (I guess?)
- infertile (for now)
+ Younger (though mages don't age at all now if they don't want to, so it's fucking nothing)
+ bit bigger boobs
+- Sister for Ciri (which is kinda weird considering she want's Geralt's cock)
+- wants ONLY D from Geralt
- was lying to Geralt to replace Yennefer after he lost his memory
- by doing that she delayed finding Yennefer and probably Ciri
- doesn't even look for Ciri, just sit in Novigrad doing nothing
- /dag/ (a.k.a. Tumblr General) darling
- shit hair
- need to be drunk to at least attract Geralt's attention
- betrayed Yen, Geralt and Ciri for her Lodge feminazi friends
- permanent damsel in distress
- Geralt had to wipe her ass as she shat herself so he's probably disgusted by merely thought of having sex with her
- medicore sorceress (she can't even cast an shield spell properly - compare her shit butterfly shield to what Yennefer does at Kaer Morhen or even to what Keira does in Avallac'h hideout)
>you will never feel Geralt's tingling hands caress your body
Cutest girl in the Witcher series.
and while I hope I can finish Wild Hunt armor I built Vran armor meanwhile.
GAYER BOSS FIGHT THAN THOUSAND DICKS BEING SUCKED BY THOUSAND TWINK BOYS
FUCKING TOP LEL TO YOU TOO CDPROJET RED
>Lay down controller as I thought I killed it because it had no HP from what I saw and cutscene seems to be starting
>First fucking QTE boss thing since Kayran comes and I miss it
Okay so there is a massive dragon with a fucking massive tree through its chest
and Geralt says Witcher's dont kill dragons
so I got two conflicting moral compasses in my hand
ok, the dragon apparently gave zero fucks about getting impaled.
i let it live
If you've read the books you know how cool dragons are.
If you haven't, trust me: don't kill it. There's very good reasons for the "moral code" Geralt has. (Yes, it's not a universal witcher code, he just kinda made that shit up)
I'm gonna let Letho live. I've killed enough people
remember that when importing saves into TW3, you gotta import the LAST AUTOSAVE not MANUAL SAVE, or Letho defaults to dead.
Yes, canon witcher is dead Letho. Doesn't make much sense.
I got annoyed by the Butcher achievement (500 people)
I just want to save people, kill monsters, lift curses..
Well really now? I imported just the latest save from TW1 to TW2 without checking if it was autosave or manual. Wonder if I fucked that up?
I killed the Wild Hunt Dude Wraith at the end of TW1.
She sounds like awful lotta trouble
I am reading other books for now. Maybe in a couple of weeks when I've read through my backlog.
A very nice intro this game has.
In the options there are notifications for 'Damaged Items', they introduced breaking and repairing for items in this game?
Is there anything in the options I should absolutely check before starting?
I grabbed the latest file which was the autosave
HOLY FUCK LADS
WE CAN **JUMP**
i envy you so fucking much
>tfw you will never play witcher 3 for the first time
Shit we old dogs now Vesemir. This video was also v. good.
I dont know. I will shut the fuck up for now then OK
>yes, yes it is.
No, it's not. Default is designed to be the easiest thing for new people, not their ideal version o the story.
>considering his cameo is the second best cameo in the whole game, first being Roche's.
Nah Letho's is better. Roche's character is not used well in TW3 and his personality is changed in a way that seems based on pandering.
I only played Witcher 3 and now in the middle of Witcher 2 and reading the books.
Wonder why people complain about W3 combat when in W2 you can just spam igni on everything and never lose a fight.
Yeah, good point, badass Vernon Roche, commander of the Temerian special forces, pacifier of the mahakaman hills, murderer of women and children became sort of a Vernon "Why be a Temerian lilly when you can be a nilfie shillie" Roche in W3.
Don't worry "retarded anon playing for the first time", this is not a big spoiler for you, have fun, you lucky bastard, wish I could play this game again for the first time.
>Wonder why people complain about W3 combat when in W2 you can just spam igni on everything and never lose a fight.
Sword build is more fun tbqh
>Wonder why people complain
I more meant how he's suddenly an unconditional bro and the cool minded logical tactician instead of a hothead Ves had to restrain, and one nonetheless willing to abandon everything to go to Kaer Morhen.
What you're talking about is not fanservice in the least and actually somewhat believable for his character, if you're not a Brochefag.
Quick questions before I buy the game: How well is this going to run on my 3570k and 660ti? Are 1080p and mostly medium settings achievable with close to 60 fps?
He was hotheaded in W2 because his father figure and king got assassinated, he wanted revenge, doubt he was like this all the time, even though he is a sadist piece of shit that tortures a lot of people in interrogations.
But to actually shit on Foltest's legacy and make Temeria a nilfie shill country? That took a lot of convincing by Thaler.
>He was hotheaded in W2 because his father figure and king got assassinated, he wanted revenge, doubt he was like this all the time, even though he is a sadist piece of shit that tortures a lot of people in interrogations.
No, he was just always that way. He'll murder over being called a whoreson. Ves regarded this standard behavior. When Foltest was still alive, he had a habit of accidentally pressing his interrogation subjects too hard and killing them before getting info just because they insulted him.
The kingslaying was under extraordinary circumstances and a transformational character moment (that is ignored in TW3). Foltest's death, while important to him, did not fundamentally change who he is.
>But to actually shit on Foltest's legacy and make Temeria a nilfie shill country? That took a lot of convincing by Thaler.
Yeah I imagine he was very hard to get on board.
>he didn't use aard
I can but it will not change anything, it is already in TW4's script. Due to popular demand for a Ciri romance in TW4 you play as Eredin with Ciri as your slave to treat kindly or poorly to feature our new morality system.
Yeah there's a rhythm to each of the enemy varieties that you'll eventually pick up. The first time you fight drowners you're likely to get raped. By the end of the game I doubt you'll ever get hit by them unless there's a gigantic mob.
It's an illusion.
Learn to eat like a fatass
ENOUGH! DELETE THIS!
CRASH CRASH BANG
Yeah, the dodge button was a god send.
Also, notice how geralt always looks at enemies this time, he will not get backstab damage on him that much like in Witcher 2, thank the gods they did that change, made the game so much better.
Also the parry animations are just amazing.
Yes, this is what our marketing department suggested would be the case. We are taking inspiration from Japanese sleeper hit "Princess Maker 2"
No. We believe that a female protagonist would destroy sales.
Oh hey you're back
Our marketing department has informed us that no game where male players control a female character has ever been successful.
Occasionally, though more often she will be in one of a variety of slave outfits. How often you see her naked will depend on your choices, which continues the legacy of choice and consequence we are known for.
Here we see the consequences of body modification magic on Ciri. This will increase her attractiveness to Eredin, but lower his morality and Ciri's own morale, which effects the ending. There are a variety of body modification effects in the game. At first Ciri will resist them strongly, but the lower her morale goes, the less resistance she will have.
>plus dodging their strike then attacking while they're recovering is just as good as riposting desu
Not really. Especially in certain situations. Have you even played Hearts of Stone?
I am in love with this game. I don't remember the last time a game won my heart over this hard and this fast.
First thing was the faces and how they moved, then the voice acting and all sorts of sounds, then the monster design, the world
>>Did you use the OP dark weapons?
I had some 40-55 damage non-upgraded steel sword and some Wild Hunt silver sword IIRC
>you'll never experience white orchard for the first time again
>never see the ladies' tapestry for the first time again
>never do the bloody baron quest for the first time
>Just letting you guys know - I love this general and all of you.
Me too. When it's not being completely retarded it's pretty cool and comfy.
He read any of the books? I bet he does it anyway. He just seems like the type. Especially since he played TW1 which might help trick him into thinking it's possible.
I love it in the way only an overcompensating womanlet could
>will never say "what the fuck is that" the first time you see a Hound of the Wild Hunt for the first again
>Will never fight a fiend with Graden and his witch hunters for the first time again
>Will never do Jarl Udalryk's spooky possession for the first time again
>Will never do the battle of Kaer Morhen for the first time again
>Will never finally find Ciri for the first time again
I don't normally do this but DELETE THIS
He's annoying as fuck but that's a frivolous ban request. He hasn't broken any rules.
The extended version is one of the only good things about the waifu patch
I'm guessing bad dad.
>you will never do vegelsbud party quest for the first time
>you will never bring Ciri to Kaer Morhen and watch her hugging Vesemir for the first time
>you will never explore Skellige with the Fields of Ard Skellig theme for the first time
>Will never finally find Ciri for the first time again
I'd love to be able to do that again. Also, entering Kaer Morhen for the very first time in TW3 I was just overwhelmed with nostalgia.
>you will never think she's dead for the first time
>you will never see her at the inn for the first time
Why even live? Jdimsa.
>tfw in the future we will be able to delete selected memories so we will be able to play TW3 again as it were the first time
>Also, entering Kaer Morhen for the very first time in TW3 I was just overwhelmed with nostalgia.
Yeah the thing being identical to in TW1 was wonderful. Also they really pulled out all the stops in dialogue their.
>Lambert being a snarky whiny prick
>Eskel being your cool brother
>Yen's "GODS DAHMIT" when the megascope explodes
And that's just the start
fuck I didn't need that feel
The Witcher series and Morrowind are the only games I want to do this for
>people that got Empress or Bad Dad will never know this feel
Though seeing their rage again would be amusing.
>dat one dude that just uninstalled the game because he got Empress and felt so betrayed
This game got me by the balls. I haven't even left the inn and I am terribly in love with this.
Is this game how well thought out? Since you can buy cards at inns you know..?
Same. which I guess is kinda lame honestly
I'm a sadist so it's amusing. Though to be fair like this guy >>128044107
I kinda know how you feel for that brief period where I thought she might be dead
Feeling superior over a video game is kind of nerdy and sad when you think about it. Doesn't stop me though.
>they will never, ever release an actually complete soundtrack with every single theme in the game
It would be like 5 hours of ear orgasm
Yeah, the only consolation I got was looking up the other endings and thinking at least I didn't get bad dad.
In my second playthrough I did get the Witcheress ending, but it just felt a little hollow.
Do you believe in the heart of the cards, /wtc/?
They should have had an elf like her in TW3 to make the Scoia'tael look good. And a Nilfgaardian like Cahir to do the same for Nilfgaard. They also should have done more in the game with the most evil holder of the Elder Blood, Falka, to make Ciri's situation more ambiguous.
Has anyone tried that School of the Roach overhaul mod yet?
I'm looking for a good change of flavor for my another Witcher 3 playthrough, but it looks like it's a pain to install. I tried installing like a month ago, ended up having some errors when trying to launch the game and gave up.
What are your impressions on the mod?
The Poor Fucking Infantry, the heroes of Brenna.
Oh they went all the way with Gwent, you get the good ones by doing quests and playing against certain characters, there is also a tournament quest later on, so you have a lot of things to do.
Well what the she-elf said to Ciri before hand was pretty terrible, and Avallac'h was a really untrustworthy person who was using her.
Also, I remember another anon pointing out a while ago that compared to giving Ciri Lara Dorren's necklace Avallac'h would probably just prefer you to wreck the place.
>what a fag hag she is
What I meant - is the Gwent as a game good? Well thought out? Balanced? Varied in strategies?
How thorough is it design?
Sides = Lost.
STOP TRIGGERING ME I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME TOO
Gwent is a damn good concept, the aspect of outsmarting and tricking your opponent is really fun, it really needs to be released as a mini-online game, it really does.
Each faction has its own strengths and weaknesses, Northern Kingdoms are OP if you have a lot of spy cards, Nilfgaard are just filled with damn good cards from the start, Scoia'tael I did not play much and Monsters can get really fucking overpowered if you don't have frost to counter them.
So yeah, even though having Gwent had the price of removing dice poker, it was worth it imo.
It's blowing off some steam in a harmless way instead of trivializing the betrayal she's feeling. Avallac'h is pretty evil, some minor vandalism is meaningless.
>implying you don't right hook people as Geralt whenever you get the chance
Enough with the children, I want a real woman!
>mfw my blind play-through choices got me the bad dad ending
I was depressed for a solid week. I went back and got the good ending but I didn't feel that much better.
Betty gud. Much more difficult than base with proper settings. Pots and food can't be chugged Johnny on the spot. Much more thought required to use alchemy other than bombs. 10/10, would install again.
That sucks, going back to get the good ending just doesn't feel the same.
does crippling strike bleed effect stack with feline sword and bleed runes?
pic not related
>played through all of Bloodborne except for DLC
>Witcher 3 is still my GOTY
Points to BB though for also giving me that JDIMSA feeling for never being able to walk the streets of Yharnam for the first time ever again.
>So yeah, even though having Gwent had the price of removing dice poker, it was worth it imo.
Dice poker was awful.
>Ditch in the Forest
I actually like all three of them but if I have to choose on those terms, that's it.
Louisa La Valette
>Torture to death to open the eyes of the sinful blind to the light of the Eternal Fire
Learn from your mistakes. Try to understand why the choices you made were poor. It's the only way to avoid fucking up Ciri's life even more in TW4.
>I want to make a human centipede with me, Yen and Ciri with me on the end
Who's in the middle?
Post your sexy Geralts.
>Given the choice, whether to serve a corrupt and ruined Empire, or to challenge the fates for another throw, a better throw against one's destiny...what was a sorcerer to do?
Central Europe, to be more precise.
That's all I wanted to hear.
See you later.
I can't either.
So I don't really care.
>Afaik they handmade it.
That is really fucking impressive then. They're some of the best facial animations I've seen. Before that it was...Half Life 2. Damn. Tech hasn't progressed much on that front.
>ded baron's child approaches
>wtf Geralt fights him
>after winning realize that Baron will probably suicide because of that
>something's awry in here
>tap F3 (unhide UI) 0.05s before decision ends
This game's got the most fun combat out of any Witcher game
It's dynamic in the sense that there's lots to do in comparison to 1 and 2.
I haven't played it a lot yet so I don't know it's imbalances or bad sides but so far my impression of it is fantastic.
>Lytta said it was every woman's right to decide about her own body, if she wanted to continue making money through abortions, she would
>Geralt understood that it was every woman's eternal right to decide what happens with her body
>Yennefer told Geralt that it is every woman's right to decide what happens with her body
>Geralt didn't disagree, for he knew that it was every woman's sacred right to decide what happens with her body
JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY
ONE TIME IS ENOUGH FFS DON'T RUB YOUR VIEWS INTO MY FACE ON EVERY SINGLE PAGE YOU SCRUB
>Well, I have time enough to teach you a thing or two ;)
>Just let me go to that juggler's tent without you, I want to thank that guy for everything he did to me :)
She's pure! DELETE THIS! REEEEEEE
>Just let me go to that juggler's tent without you
In TW1 gameplay mechanics is total crap.
Aen Elle > Neygharimm >> Aen Seidhe >>> shit > urine > Dh'oinne
She should have turned into babushka by that age.
It's for yencucks
>TYPICAL YENFAG WANTS TO BE CUCКED AND STRAPONED BY HIS OLD BDSM HANCHBACK HAG OVER AND OVER CUZ HIS GERALD WAS STUPID ONCE IN THE PAST LIFE TO WISH TO LOVE ONLY ONE EGOCENTRIC BITCH JUST TO SAVE HER LOUSY ASS FROM A GENIE MONSTER SHE COULDN'T HANDLE
Who was that trissfag in the Witcher forum that claimed the only reason why Witcher 2 was successful is because of the love story between Geralt and Triss?
Can't get any more retarded than that I guess.
What's with these elf apologist faggots in my general?
Reminder that the elves are doomed to a slow and miserable extinction and there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about it.
>your average elffag's intelligence
>Tir na Lia is gonna be wrecked by the white frost
>no proper way to teleport all the aen elle to another world
>the handful that can escape will not be enough to sustain a viable population in the long term
Yeah nah, the aen elle are fucked as well.
